Callie Torres, January 30th:

When Callie woke up, she knew that this day was going to be a hard one. Her head was already pounding, and she hadn't even opened her eyes. She turned around, ready to go back to sleep when she heard Mark's voice echoes inside her house.

"Fuck my life…" she swore before covering her face with her pillow, trying to prepare herself for what was about to come.

"Torres!" Came Mark's loud voice, making her headache even worse. "I got croiss-" the man stopped mid-sentence when he was greeted with the miserable sight of his friend. "What happened?" he asked looking around the room. He could see an empty bottle of wine on the floor next to her head as well as a dry stain next to it.

Receiving no answer from the brunette beside a weak groan, Mark walked towards Callie's bed and laid down next to the brunette. "So, what happened?" he asked again.

Callie sighed before slowly taking the pillow off her face. She turned on her side to look at Mark. He was laying on his back looking at the ceiling. That's what she liked about him, even if he seemed to be an ass at first glance, Mark was patient and never pushed her if she wasn't ready. That's why their friendship worked so well.

"Kate broke up with me." She finally said. Mark didn't answer, he just lifted his arm mentioning for Callie to come closer. The brunette obliged and laid her head on the man's shoulder.

Callie stayed in the comfort of her best friend's arms and let the quiet tears fall down her cheeks. She knew that Kate was right, she always knew it but that didn't mean it made it any easier. It was much easier to stay in denial and stay mad at the blond than to admit to herself that she still loved her and that she had forgiven her a long time ago.

"So?" Mark said testing to see if Callie was ready to talk.

"She said that I didn't love her enough and that she deserved better. I can't blame her, she's right." Callie finally said "ever since Arizona came back, I've been all over the place. Thank god for Sofia or I would've drowned myself in alcohol." She added.

"Nah…" Mark said, a smile in his voice. "I wouldn't have let you." He seemed to think about it and then added "I would've joined you at least" and then he laughed making Callie, as well as his whole body, shake and slap his torso.

"You're such an ass." The brunette said laughing too.

"That's why you love me." Mark said looking down at Callie and wiggling his eyebrows. The brunette just laughed and snuggled closer.

That day she called in sick and spent the day in bed thinking about how her life has gotten so messed up.

At some point she finally got up and cleaned herself and her place before Sofia came back from school. Thanks to Mark picking up Sofia after school, Callie had the time to get herself together.

Callie plopped on the couch next to Mark before taking the beer he was drinking and finishing it in one gulp. She had just put Sofia to bed. It was surprisingly easy compared to the previous times where the little girl hated going to sleep. Callie didn't question it too much and supposed that Sofia was just tired after a long day at school.

"Whatcha doing?" she asked Mark that seemed engrossed in his phone. She frowned when she didn't get an answer. "Hello?" she said waving her hand between his face and the phone.

Finally, Mark looked at her "oh… uh, nothing." He suspiciously said and tried to hide his phone's screen when Callie tried to look at it. This reaction took Callie by surprise. It wasn't Mark's habit to hide anything from her. She had the displeasure to see some pictures she wished she could erase from her memory.

Mark noticed the glint in Callie's eyes and he barely had the time to try and get up that the brunette straddled him, holding him in place on the couch and suddenly reached for his phone. "Cal…" he tried to get her to stop but it was too late, the brunette was already reading the text he was exchanging with Teddy. He could see the look on her face the second it registered in her head what she was reading, and he wished he could've prevented her from seeing the texts.

"Good for her" came Callie's weak voice before she gave Mark his phone back.

She sat back next to Mark, a faraway look on her face. She didn't know what to say. What was she expecting? That Arizona was going to wait for her until she finally decided to get her head out of her ass.

"You know it's not too late, right?" Mark said getting Callie out of her thoughts. "It's just one date, it doesn't mean anything." At that Callie couldn't help but snort.

"Yeah right, even if I wanted to, I don't know if I can trust her." Callie said weakly. She knew that it was a bad excuse, but she was stubborn and hated being wrong.

"I think you do, you're just scared. You're scared of giving her your heart again. You're scared of being hurt." Mark turned to look at her. "You love her, don't waste your time being scared when you can live the love story of a lifetime." He stopped, seeming to think about something, "I think you should go see her." He finished making Callie snort. When she saw that he wasn't joking, she sobered up and looked at him with wide eyes.

"Oh my god, you are serious!"

"Well, what do you have to lose?"

"Uh, my dignity?" Callie said with an incredulous look on her face. But Mark was having none of it.

"Come on Cal don't be an idiot. What if something happened and you'll regret not saying anything for the rest of your life." Mark said with a sad look on his face and Callie understood that he was talking about himself.

"You really think I should go?" she asked but she already knew the answer. Mark didn't have to talk, he just nodded. "That's crazy…"

"So what?" Mark said, "just go for it, you've avoided your feelings long enough."

She didn't know how but suddenly Callie found herself in her car driving towards Arizona's place. She tried not to think about what she was doing because she knew she'll talk herself out of it. She was tired, tired of running, tired of hurting.

The walk from the elevator to Arizona's door was the longest of her life. She found herself wanting to go back at least ten times. When she finally arrived in front of Arizona's door, she lifted a shaking hand to knock. It was now or never.

"Don't be a pussy." She said to herself before taking a deep breath and finally knocking on the door. She didn't have to wait long before the door opened revealing a surprised Arizona.

"Calliope…"

Arizona Robbins, January 30th:

Arizona was looking at Callie waiting for her to say something, but the brunette didn't anything. Looking at her, Arizona could see that she was anxious, and she couldn't help but think that something had happened.

"Are you ok? Is Sofia? Did something happen?" she fired quickly making Callie come out of her daze.

"Uh, what? No, she's ok, she's with Mark." Callie finally said and took a step closer making Arizona take one backward. Once Callie was inside, she closed the door and turned towards Arizona who was looking at her expectantly. "You broke me."

Arizona looked at her surprised and confused at the same time. She wasn't sure what Callie was talking but she had a small guess.

"The day you left, you broke me." Callie added. Arizona was about to argue, to tell her that it wasn't her fault. That if she had any say in it, she wouldn't have left, that if she could she'll hold Callie in her arms and never let her go. However, Callie raised her hand, telling Arizona to let her finish. "You broke me, and I hated you. Well, I tried to hate you, I really did but I never really could." She took another step closer. "Every time I thought I was over you, something would happen and remind me why I loved you and make me miss you. But the more I missed you, the more I wanted to hate you and the more I got angry at you and at myself for not being able to hate you." Another step closer. "I realized something today though. Thanks to a few people, I realized that I'm tired Arizona. I'm tired of fighting, of being angry. I want to show Sofia what a healthy relationship is. I want to show her what real love is."

Arizona was shocked, she didn't know how she was supposed to react. She was frozen on the sport as Callie was slowly taking steps closer to her. She didn't want to get her hopes up, but it was hard to the closer Callie was getting to her.

"I know that we have a lot of things to talk about but I'm tired of denying my feelings and my wants." By now Callie was just a breath away from Arizona. The blond has long since stopped breathing. "Here's the thing..." Callie stopped and took a deep breath before adding "I want you. I've always wanted you Arizona. You are-"

Callie didn't have the time to finish before Arizona crashed her lips against Callie's plump ones. She tried to resist but how could she when Callie was saying all the right things, all the things she has dreamed about.

Arizona didn't have to wait long for Callie to start responding. However, when she was about to deepen the kiss, she suddenly remembered something and detached herself from Callie, practically jumping away and hitting the living room table.

"What about Kate?" Arizona asked suddenly feeling guilty for throwing herself at Callie. She was surprised when the brunette just smiled and walked closer once again.

"We broke up." Was Callie short answer before she kissed Arizona again.

Even if Arizona wanted to slow things down and talk with Callie, she was just human and she had craved the feeling of Callie's lips against her own for years. As hard as she tried to break away from Callie's hold, she could only kiss the brunette back and hold her closer to her.

It was their first kiss since Arizona went away. And the familiarity they fell into seemed so effortless like they were never apart. Callie still remembered that gently biting the blond lip would drive her crazy. She was proud of herself when she was proven right when the blond released a low moan making Callie ruin her panties.

They kissed like that for a few minutes, drinking each other in and getting reacquainted with the other. However, it didn't take long for Arizona to take control and swiftly turn them around and lifting Callie on the table.

"Fuck, I missed you." The blonde said before moving her lips to Callie's jaw and kissing her way down to her neck, marking Callie. The brunette was helpless, she could just moan, at the mercy of the blonde's fabulous mouth.

Arizona couldn't believe it, she had dreamed of this moment for so many years and it was finally real. She finally had Callie back in her arms. She was finally hers. She didn't know if it was just for the night or if it was for more. But one thing was sure, she would cherish every second of it.

"Arizona…" Callie moaned, and the blonde knew what she wanted, what she needed, but it didn't stop her to pretend not to know. She wanted Callie to tell her what she wanted.

Arizona just kept kissing Callie's neck and collarbone until Callie couldn't stand it anymore "Arizona, just take me…" the brunette begged. Arizona smirked before detaching herself from the brunette. They were looking at each other, their eyes filled with desire and want. Callie was staring at Arizona while the blonde slowly took her shirt off before walking closer to the brunette and bringing her hands to the hem of her shirt.

She looked at Callie, silently asking for permission to take her shirt off and she happily obliged when the brunette quickly nodded her head. Arizona's breath hitched in her throat the second her eyes focused on the perfect caramel skin she once knew by heart.

Not being able to wait anymore, Arizona quickly unbuttoned her pant and took them off, standing in front of Callie in nothing but her bra and boxers. She didn't wait for Callie before she kissed her hard and pushed her tongue in the brunette's mouth, making them both moan.

By this time Arizona was as hard as a rock and Callie could feel it. Slowly but surely, Callie's hand crept down toward Arizona's member and started stroking it through the boxers making Arizona kiss her harder. Arizona responded by bringing her hand to Callie's sweatpants and mentioning for the brunette to raise her hips. Callie was more than happy to comply, and Arizona didn't wait for a second to pull them down, taking with her Callie's panties.

"You feel so good." Arizona moaned against Callie's lips.

"Please Arizona… I… I need you" Callie begged another time, spreading her legs. Arizona was suddenly hit with the sweet smell of Callie's juice and who was she to deny the love of her life.

Arizona took her member out of her boxers and guided it to Callie's folds. She slowly slid it up and down coating it in her juices. She looked at Callie one last time, to check if the brunette was really ready, and when she saw the lust that filled Callie's eyes, Arizona didn't waste another second before slowly pushing herself inside Callie. At last, they were finally one.

At some point, they moved to the bedroom where they spent the night getting reacquainted with their bodies.

They would talk but for now, they would enjoy and get lost in the other.
