Raven looks out the sliding door and watches the sun rise. She could hardly believe what last night was like. She looks back to Mindbender and she smiles as she watches him sleep. The guilt of him being shot by Zach was still overwhelming and the thought of the wound was sickening. Perhaps it was out of guilt that she might've made love to him. Maybe even desire.
He stirs and she looks away as she continues to focus on what was the most beautiful sun rise she had ever seen. She could now feel his eyes upon her. She hears him sit up and move across the bed. His hot breath was on her neck as he sides closer to her.
"Good morning; he whispers."
Raven smiles as she feels his large arms wrap around her naked body. "Good morning; she replies as she leans back into his arms."
"Last night was incredible; Mindbender says as he watches the sun rise. I don't think I'll ever experience anything like that again."
Raven could feel his chin rest on top of her head and she smiles as she feels his chin move down by her ear. His hot breath was close to her and his hands move up to her breasts. He kisses the side of her neck gently.
"What would you like for breakfast; he questions as he continues to kiss her gently while continuing to rub and tug at her nipples?"
"I think you want me for breakfast; Raven answers."
"That does sound good; Mindbender replies. But I need some actual food."

"Coffee; she moans. Toast maybe."
"And; Mindbender purs?"

"Why don't you go shower; Mindbender suggests, and I'll order us breakfast."
Raven nods as she was willing to do anything for him at that moment. She knew that he was her only escape from her awful life she was living. And with hauling two million in cash around she was felt like he could protect her and keep her safe.
Raven stands up feeling a little wobbly for a moment. She looks at him and he smiles. He reaches out and touches her tattoo, the edge of the dragon's tail. She smiles as he stands up and looks her in her grey eyes.
"You're beautiful; he whispers. But I'd love you more if you would shower, and have breakfast with me."
Raven smiles as he kisses her gently on the forehead. She turns and walks away. She pushes the shower door open and turns on the light. She cringes as she notices a dried, bandage in the trash can. She turns away and turns on the water and steps in to the shower. Standing under the hot water she relaxes as she feels the heavy stream beat down on her back.
She reaches over and touches the tattoo tail and smiles as she thinks of her Ben. He was so kind once she got to know him. He was smooth with his words, and he seemed to well-rounded with any situation. It was almost as if he were a criminal himself.
"No; Raven thinks to herself. There's no way he a criminal, he's so proper. He said he was a doctor."
Raven smiles as she continues to wash her body. She reaches down and washes herself as she was still sore from last night's activity. She reaches over and grabs a body wash on the ceil of the shower and washes quickly. She wanted to see what Ben had in store for today. She knew it would begin with a large breakfast again. But she hadn't eaten since their flight yesterday so she was feeling hungry.
She rinses off quickly and steps out of the shower. She dries off and wraps in the towel and walks into the bedroom. She looks around, but Ben must've been in the living room. She sighs and walks over to his suitcase and takes out one of his oversized shirts and put it on. She exits the room to find him sitting on the couch looking at his phone.
"I ordered you a few sets of clothes and undergarments; Mindbender says. I hope you don't mind."
Raven smiles as she sits next to him. "No; she answers. What did you order me?"
"You'll see when it gets here; he replies as he locks his phone screen."
Raven leans her head on his shoulder and he wraps his arm around her.
"Do you know what I would love even more than clothes right now; Raven says playfully."
Mindbender looks down at her devious smile and replies with; "what's that?"
"If you would go take a shower; Raven says with a smile. Because I think your smell is the smell of sex."
Mindbender smiles as he takes his arm away. He could see another side of her that was starting to show. A more confident side, and that is what he was looking for.
"Can you manage to get the door without running away; Mindbender jokes. It's just room service."
Raven smiles as she watches him walk to the bathroom. She was capable of answering the door. He wasn't in the shower long and she hears a knock at the door. It wasn't room service it was a young woman at the door. Raven opens the door and smiles as she hands her four bags and walks away. She says nothing.
Raven closes the door behind her to see Ben standing in the bedroom doorway watching her. Raven looks at him and smiles as she walks to the bedroom to change. Inside one of the bags was a light blue dress; it was a simple sundress that was fitting for a day at the beach. In another bag was a light blue bra and panties.
She puts on the bra and panties and hears a knock at the door. She pays no mind as she slips on the dress. Raven glides over to the mirror and looks at herself in the dress. She looks back at the bags and finds a pair of light blue flip flops. "How did he get my sizes right; Raven thinks to herself as she slips on the shoes?"
She exits the room to see another man with Mindbender as he dressed his gunshot wound and gives him a shot in the arm. Another knock is heard at the door.
"That's room service love; Mindbender says. Get the door and we'll finish in the bed room."
Raven smiles as she answers the door once the two leave. She allows the young man in the room and he sets up breakfast. He leaves the cart and leaves the room as quickly as he came. The man helping Mindbender leaves quickly and Raven sits at the table waiting for Mindbender to leaves join her.
Mindbender sits at the table and smiles as he looks at her in the clothes. "Do you like them; he asks as she waits?"
"Yes; Raven answers as she pours their espresso."
Mindbender hadn't felt this much joy in a long time. He knew Cobra was keeping tabs on him, but he didn't care. He had to report everyday and one of his reports was he was bringing home a wife. Raven smiles as he reaches over and lifts the silver dome to reveal her massive breakfast.
"The most important meal of the day; Mindbender says with a smile."
Raven smiles as she begins to eat her food. It took a while and a few long conversations, but she was able to eat everything. Mindbender smiles as he watches her sip the last of the espresso.
"I know that is a rush; Mindbender begins. I want you to be my wife."
Raven's heart was pounding for some reason. She hardly knew him, and yet he wants to marry her. Mindbender reaches over and takes her free hand.
"It's not a rush; Mindbender continues. When you're ready."
"I don't know what to say Ben; Raven replies. I'm wanted, the police have me posted on every major news shows. Why would you choose me, I'm a criminal?"
Mindbender sighs and responds dully; not perfect either."
Raven looks down at her empty plate feeling full and sick. She didn't know him, but she knew he could do better. "Ben; Raven replies. I know there are better women out there. Ones that are smarter maybe."
"I want you; Mindbender interrupts. It would please me to have you."
Raven looks up at him; she wasn't sure what to say. She felt her heart beat again as she thought of being his wife. Something seemed off at that moment. She just couldn't figure it out, she couldn't understand why he wouldn't care that she was a criminal.
"You don't care I've committed a crime, and I could go to prison if I'm caught; Raven questions?"
Mindbender smiles as he pours the last of the hot espresso in his cup. "No; he replies."
"It bothers me; Raven snaps. How does it not bother you?"
Mindbender looks up at her still innocent face. He was torn if he should tell her who he was or not. He couldn't decide. If he did tell her how would she react?
"My dear; Mindbender explains. I'm sure there are far worse things someone could do. All you did was take a suitcase from Zach and run. You did not rob that bank. You were a scared girl under duress. I don't look at that as a crime, and Zach is dead so you have nothing to worry about."
Rave looks at him in shock; she couldn't remember what happened that night. She heard the gun shot and that was the last thing she remembered. "He's dead; Raven questions?"
"He was shot by the police when he tried to run after shooting me; Mindbender replies. I paid them off to keep silent about you being in the restaurant. Cops are so crocked in that town I almost makes me want to retire there."
Raven could feel her eyes tearing up at the thought of Zach being shot. She looks up at Mindbender and sniffles. "Thank you for telling me; Raven whimpers."
"Don't waste your tears for that loser; Mindbender says with a cold gaze."
Raven looks at her empty cup and wipes back her tears. She wasn't sure why she was crying for Zach; after all he was the one that broke her clavicle in a fit of anger. She could still remember him punching her so hard it knocked her over and down a flight of stairs.
"He broke my clavicle; Raven explains. And he broke three ribs when he punched me in the chest so hard it threw me back and I fell down a flight of stairs."
Mindbenders anger was building; he wished it was him shooting Zach and not the police.
"Why did he hurt you; he asks?"
Raven looks up at him almost afraid; she could see the anger in his eyes. "Because I didn't want to help him rob the bank; Raven answers. But I was so scared of him I did what he said when I got back from the hospital."
Raven begins to cry again and Mindbender stands up and takes her to the couch where he holds her while she sobbed. He hated when women would cry, but something was different as he held her. He wanted to ease her discomfort. He wanted her to feel safe.
"Shhh; Mindbender soothes. It's all over with now. He's gone, and you're safe with me. I'll protect you."
Raven could feel his grip tighten as he held her. She was feeling so safe at that moment that it was as if the tears stopped flowing. She didn't want the embrace to end, but she knew at some point it would.
