Hello, everyone! Here's the next chapter of the Ash's Adventures with the Care Bears. I hope you all enjoy it! And now, on with the story!
*I DON'T OWN POKÉMON OR CARE BEARS*
Meanwhile, John and Dawn were lost in the middle of the woods.
Dawn: I'm sure this is the right path, John.
John: It'll probably lead you right back here.
Great Wishing Star: Well, it looked as though John and Dawn were having problems of their own.
Dawn then ended up back at the rock where John was sitting.
John: See what I mean? We're lost. We can't even escape.
Dawn: We're the first to get lost. We're the last at everything else.
Then, they heard an unfamiliar voice.
True Heart Bear: Here's the path back to camp, [as she appears] if you want to take it.
Dawn: Who are you?
John: What are you?
True Heart Bear: I am your friend, True Heart. I came to help you find your way back to camp.
John and Dawn: Forget it!
John: We're not going back.
John and Dawn: [at the same time] Ever!
True Heart Bear: Running away never solved a problem. Don't worry about what you can't do. Think about all the things you can do.
John: Like what?
Dawn: We can't do anything.
True Heart Bear: That's not true. For starters, everyone can share their feelings.
Dawn: Huh! Nobody wants to share anything with us.
John: We're just losers.
Baby Swift Heart Rabbit: (pops out of True Heart Bear's backpack, crying) Waaahh! Uh uh! Waaah!
True Heart Bear: John and Dawn, meet Baby Swift Heart Rabbit.
Dawn: [picks up Swift Heart] Don't cry, little one. There, there.
John: It's all right.
Dawn, John, and Swift Heart Rabbit Cub: Ha ha ha!
True Heart Bear: You can do something. You can share your feelings and make friends.
John: Well...
Dawn: Maybe.
True Heart Bear: I'll show you. (creates a Cloudmobile using her Care Bear Stare)
Dawn and John: Ooooh! Whoa.
John: Where are we going?
True Heart Bear: To meet my friends Ash and Noble Heart.
Dawn: Aren't you coming?
True Heart Bear: Oh, dear.
Dawn: Hurry, True Heart!
True Heart Bear: [creates a rainbow with her Care Bear Stare and climbs up, the she grabbed the end of the Cloudmobile] Whooo! [as John helps her in] Thank you. There has to be easier ways of getting around.
As they left, Dark Heart appears in his frog form
Dark Heart: Beware, True Heart. Soon I'll be coming for you and your little cubs. [As he hops away] Ha! Ha! Ha!
[Later, at the Kingdom of Caring]
Great Wishing Star: So, True Heart took John and Dawn up to the kingdom of caring.
True Heart: John and Dawn have come here to learn more about sharing their feelings.
Noble Heart: They already know about feelings. They cared enough to come here.
True Heart: I'm going back to find Christy.
(suddenly, a bell sounds)
John: What's that?
True Heart: Our caring meter, which tells when something is affecting the Earth's caring level.
Noble Heart: This time it might be Dark Heart.
That made Twinkers and Huggy scared as they hid behind John and Dawn.
Dawn: Dark Heart? Who's Dark Heart?
Noble Heart: Let's hope you never find out.
True Heart: If it is Dark Heart, it'll take both of us.
Then, Ash came out of the kitchen with two bags of prepared food for True Heart and Noble Heart.
Ash: If you two are going off to find Dark Heart. You'll need a nice tasty dinner for the road.
Noble Heart: [as Ash hands them the bags] Thank you, Ash! [to True Heart] You should try some of his curry, True Heart. It's delicious!
Ash: [notices John and Dawn] Oh my goodness, I didn't know we had guests.
True Heart: Oh, how forgetful of me. Ash, this is John and Dawn. [to John and Dawn] John and Dawn, this is our other friend, Ash Ketchum, the King of Friendship!
John and Dawn: [at the same time] A king?! Wow!
Ash: Yeah! But you can just call me Ash. All my friends do.
True Heart: John and Dawn have come here to learn more about sharing their feelings.
Ash: I see. [reads their auras] And from what I can tell, you two feel like your losers.
John and Dawn were surprised when they heard that!
John: How did you know about that?
Ash: I can read other people's auras, and from what I read is that you feel like you can't do anything.
Dawn: Yeah! We can't swim or paddle a boat or run faster than anyone else.
Ash: [as he wraps his arms around their shoulders] Well, we can fix that! [to True Heart and Noble Heart] I'll help them look after the cubs, you two. And after we care for the cubs, we're doing some special training.
True Heart: Thank you, Ash!
Noble Heart: Your the best! [as he leaves with True Heart] We know you can do it. Good luck.
They closed the door behind them. As they left, Baby Swift Heart Rabbit started to cry.
Baby Swift Heart Rabbit: (starts to cry) Ah ah ah... Waaaaaaah!
(Dawn and John become shocked and see more Care Cubs crying)
Care Cubs: Waaah! Waaah! Waaah! Waaaah! Waaah! Waaah!
(John shushes the Care Cubs, while Twinkers opens a cupboard of diapers and Huggy opens a cupboard of bottles, and "I Care For You" plays)
Ash: Whaddya say?
Dawn and John: [at the same time] Right!
[Song: I Care for You]
I care for you. It's kinda magical,
It just takes two.
To share with you.
I'd like to show by the little things I do.
It warms my heart to think that you might feel like sharing too
That's what it's all about because I care for you.
It isn't so hard, all you have to do it try.
When you make the first move,
You'll see good things usually multiply.
Somehow it all works, though it's really not so rare.
Give a little here, give a little there.
No it doesn't take much to show you care.

I'd like to show by the little things I do.

(As the song plays, Dawn takes out the diapers and John takes out the bottles. Dawn then takes Baby Harmony Bear out of bed, and the clock hand moves by one heart. John then puts Baby Harmony Bear in the next station, takes off the diaper, and puts it in the trash. Dawn tries to carry Baby Fun Shine Bear to the first station, but trips on a bottle. John saves Dawn from falling, and the clock hand moves by several hearts. Twinkers presses a button, summoning robotic stars with arms to help Dawn and John babysit the Care Cubs. Tender Heart's diaper gets taken off and John takes Baby Harmony Bear to the second station, where she is given a bath. Then John takes Baby Harmony Bear to the third station, where she is put on sunglasses by Twinkers and Huggy. John gets surprised that three Care Cubs are being bathed at the second station, and Dawn takes Baby Harmony Bear to the fourth station,.where she powders the Care Cubs and puts new diapers on them. Dawn then puts Baby Harmony Bear to the fifth station, where she rides the slide and lands in her bed, and is given a bottle to drink from. After several more Care Cubs are babysat, Baby Grumpy Bear tries to avoid a bath, but he is already in the second station and is all wet, then at the third station, he isn't put any sunglasses on, then at the fourth station, he gets a diaper put on his head, and at the fifth station, he slides headfirst, lands in bed upside-down, and gets a bottle in his mouth. Dawn and John then sit in chairs while feeding Baby Harmony Bear and Baby Grumpy Bear. Dawn then burps Baby Grumpy Bear and he falls asleep. Then, Ash plays his soft, gentle lullaby, Oracion, on his leaf flute and the cubs were all fast asleep.)
[End song]
Later, they were outside at the back of the castle. Ash was going to be his mentor and coach and help them with the things John and Dawn have trouble with. He even wore a coach's uniform, whistle and all. He helped them with building their endurance, tossing a ball at a target, swimming in a pool that he made out of clouds using his alchemy, as well as paddling a boat. Soon, John and Dawn were getting better by the minute. Ash was impressed.
Ash: Good going, you two. If you guys keep practicing, you can be able to become Camp Champs of your own someday.
Dawn: You really think so, Ash?
Ash: Sure do! Just don't give up 'til the very end! Now, come on, I'll make you two something to eat. [as he brings John and Dawn inside] Wait until you try my curry. You'll love it!
So, Ash went inside with the twins and had a nice curry dinner. They enjoyed the curry and they even tried some of Ash's chocolate chip cookies and his homemade Moomoo Milk Ice Cream for dessert. Then, John and Dawn went to sleep in the beds Ash made with his alchemy as Ash was cleaning up. Later, True Heart and Noble Heart came back and saw the twins asleep and Ash cleaning up.
True Heart: Even though we didn't find Dark Heart or Christy, I'd say that this wasn't a wasted trip.
Noble Heart: We left two children who thought that they weren't good at anything.
True Heart: And returned to find world class babysitters in their place.
Then, Ash came in and greeted True Heart and Noble Heart. He told them how great they were at looking after the cubs and that they did well with their training.
Ash: …And with all the training they did, I believe those two are going to make it out okay. I'll take them back to camp in the morning.
Later, Ash took John and Dawn back to camp. The minute they landed, Ash decided to tell them a few last words of advice to them.
Ash: Remember, you two, if you keep trying and remember your training, you can accomplish the things you think you can't do. Don't give up 'til the very end.
John: [as he and Dawn hug Ash] Thanks, Ash!
Dawn: You're the best!
Ash: Anytime, you two. Oh, I almost forgot. [reaches into his pocket and pulls out two aura crystal pendants] These are for you two. [puts them around their necks] If you ever need my help, just use your aura to contact me through the aura crystals. [as he flaps his wings and was about to set off] Just remember what I said and keep caring [flies back to the Kingdom of Caring].
John: [to Dawn] You know, Dawn, Ash kind of makes a good father figure towards the both of us, don't'cha think.
Dawn: Yeah!
Meanwhile, Christy was lost in the woods and was about to need more help than anyone could have guessed.
Christy: Where are those guys? Maybe they ran away without me. Why can't I be good at anything except shooting marbles? Marble champ. So what[shoots her marble as it knocks off of a tree]? Oh, if only I could run or swim or do something to be the camp champ. [heard rustling in the bushes] Huh! John? Dawn?
(Dark Heart appears as a human boy)
Dark Heart: Hey, what do you know? The camp champ.
Christy: Me?
Dark Heart: Sure. You are the camp champ, ain't you?
Christy: No, I'm not.
Dark Heart: Well, you sure could've fooled me.
Christy: Who are you?
Dark Heart: [as he balances I'm a log] I'm from the camp across the river. You wouldn't want to be the camp champ, would you? I could fix it for you.
Christy: [unsure] Well, I don't know.
Dark Heart: There's only one catch, though.
Christy: [disappointed] I knew it was too good to be true.
Dark Heart: [reassuring] Not so fast. Sometime I'll ask you to return the favor, and you just do it, no questions asked. What do you say?
Christy: You can't make me camp champ.
Dark Heart: Oh, no?
Christy: Sure. Okay, you got a deal. Go ahead and make me camp champ.
Dark Heart: A favor now for a favor later. [he snaps his fingers] Done. Do a cartwheel.
Christy: A cartwheel? I can't do...
Dark Heart: Just do it.
Christy: Huh! (does a cartwheel) I did it! I did it! [as she does more cartwheels] You were telling the truth!
Dark Heart: Cartwheels are nothing. Now you can race, swim, paddle.
Christy: [beams with pride] I am going to be the camp champ!
Dark Heart: Remember, when I come back, you owe me a favor. And I will come back. [leaves]
Then, Christy heard Dawn's voice.
Dawn: Christy! Christy!
Christy: Huh!
John: Wait till we tell you where we were.
Dawn: We met these cute baby cubs.
John: We took care of them. Anyway, we don't have to win races to be champs.
Dawn: We're friends. We'll always help each other.
John: Good friends are the real champs.
Dawn: So, none of us have to run away anymore.
(Dark Heart: [evil laugh])
Christy: Who's running away? Not me. I plan on staying a while. [tosses John her marble which has what appears to be an Aura Crystal inside]
John: That's great, Christy.
As Christy heads back to camp, John and Dawn hear a strange sound.
Dark Heart: Eehhhh!
John: Did you hear something, Dawn?
Dawn: I... I don't think so. [shivers] Oh, it's getting cold, John. Let's go in.
Dark Heart: [in the form of a vulture] I'll be back for you. [caws]
