Chapter 1
The sky is clear and blue, the sun slips through the leaves of the trees, and the light is dazzling.
There was a commotion in the busy part of the harbor, and a cry of astonishment was heard. Curios, the locals came closer and saw a monstrous huge fish laid in the center of the crowd. A group of men then cheered and complimented a young boy in a green outfit who stood beside the big fish with a bright grinning face.
In an unnoticeable corner, a glowing light is gently interwoven converging, into a human form and filling out to become real and complete, gradually becoming the same as ordinary people.
The teenager who appeared out of thin air stood at the corner of the alley, carrying a sling bag and wearing an oversized brown army jacket. Merging into the crowd without a trace, a pair of emerald eyes stared at the big fish, wondering if they were just going to marvel at it and not cook it? She broke her thoughts and turned to glance at the young boy, who at the moment, ran in front of a beautiful orange hair woman.
"Mito-san!" the boy called out with a smile, contrary of the dismayed and worried look on the woman's face.
A glimpse of emotion shone through the eyes of the mysterious teen girl.
The teenager stopped looking and took a piece of strawberry milk candy out of her pocket and ate it. She stood there like she's waiting for something while gnawing a candy.
'What do I do now?' her thought was answered by someone.
[…]
The young girl nodded, as if she had just been instructed by someone and agreed, yet no one was there.
She walked away from the crowd and the people near her steps aside to let her pass by. Some of them stopped and turned their heads to look at her twice. The girl paused, as if she had forgotten something before pulling out an eggshell cover on her bag and putting it on her head. Ignoring the people who now give her a strange look, she started walking in the direction of the forest.

In the middle of the night, when all living beings are resting in their respective homes, all but one figure scampering through the mountain forest. After Hours of wandering and searching for the unknown with only the moon and the stars guides the way, the figure stopped a few meters in front of a massive tree. Long vines were wrapped around it, some of them dangled out of the branches. The middle base part of the tree has a hole, the size of the hollow can fit a human being, and there seems to be light inside flickering through the darkness.
The figure stepped closer, and the bleak moonlight that drifted through the leaves revealed the figure's appearance: a petite looking girl with waist length black hair and sparkling emerald eyes, it was the girl from the harbor that people stared at because of her doll-like looks and strangeness.
She squats in front of the tree and breathes a sigh of relief.
TING~
The moment her sigh end, a chime and a female machine voice was heard inside her head.
[A fragment of an orb has been found]
She opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out, her brow frowning as she remembered something troublesome. Shrugging, she responded through her mind as she looked at the object in the tree, a tiny red-orange crystal shining like a fire.
'Um…what does that one can bring out?'
An electronic beep rang.
[Analyzing…please wait]
After a few seconds, the robotic voice spoke again.
[It is the key of the anime world called FIRE FORCE]
Making an ohh~ expression on her face, she asked again.
'What kind of world is it?'
[It was world in which there is a phenomenon called Spontaneous Human Combustion where human beings are turned into living infernos called "Infernals."]
'…ah?.. that sounds dangerous…'
At the same time as the voice spoke, a screen containing the information about the so called "Anime World" appeared in front of her.
'Special Fire Force…..cool'
'Adolla Burst….?'
She scans the data calmly on the screen, showing no surprise at all of the unfamiliar words and incredible information she reads. Like she's accustomed knowing that the world she's living in isn't the only one that exists.
Whoosh—
A gust of air swept past her and she felt a shift in the atmosphere.
[ALERT]
[A portal will begin to open in 30 seconds]
She looked back and saw the crystal shard that was inside the tree earlier is now floating slowly, releasing extraordinary energy. Some slumbering wild creatures living in the forest woke up, immediately leaping to their feet and cautiously looked at the strange presence.
The wind is whirling erratically, blowing harder until some plants and small animals are blown away. Only the girl's figure stood still, her hair flying in the wind, watching the shard calmly and unaffected by the strong energy. Then it stopped as if time had been frozen, and a small, translucent circle of light had begun to form beneath the shard, appearing to grow larger every second.
'It's time.' The girl stepped closer, preparing to jump and grabbed the shard, but she paused for a moment and curiously extended her head towards the circle of light. Thinking, 'Just a peek….'.
Opening her eyes, she took in the scenery of the other dimension. The first thing she figured out was that she was in a factory. A burning factory. There was fire everywhere; the walls were on fire, all types of material and machineries were on fire, fire was even coming out of the building through various openings. Smoke all around the place makes her cough and burn her eyes, regretting her decision of taking a peek to this dimension.
"Shinra! Search the area if there is a person left behind!" she heard a shout, followed by a teen male voice replying "yes captain!". She stretches her head to the right but her vision was blocked by a machine that hides her and the portal. So, she moves forward, her body entirely entering the portal and slowly glances over the edge of the machine and sees people wearing large uniforms with neon-blue stripes across the body.
Her eyes twinkle, realizing that they are the special fire force.
'So cool..but let's get out of here now.' Satisfied with seeing them, she turned around only to freeze when her eyes came into contact with a black figure, wrapped in flames. Alarm bell rings within her mind.
'Infernals..'
When the black figure leapt and ran toward her, she quickly jumped back to the portal and grabbed the shard just in time before the black figure could come out, the gate of the other dimension quickly disappearing.
Her heart was pounding at the close call, and she reminds herself to refrain from entering a dimension from now on. after calming down, she opens the palm that holds the shard and she watch it float a few centimeters above her hand, emitting a gentle fluorescent glow.
The electronic voice ran again in her head.
[Successfully retrieve an aether orb fragment]
Suddenly, a silver-blue glow was spreading throughout the area coming from the heart of the mountain forest to the night sky but in a blink of an eye it was gone. This strange and quick phenomenon will never be known except for some wild animals living in the forest.
As the sky began to shine, the girl came out of the forest, trailed behind her, are animals from the forest that tagged along as if they had come to see her off. They were attracted to this weird stranger. She turned around to face the animals who followed her and shows a rare smile on her face. Tendrils of blue light gathered around her body and began to fade little by little. She raised her right hand to wave a goodbye before she vanished completely.

A young boy was getting ready to climb down the ship's watchtower, when he saw something from the corner of his eyes.
"Waahh, there's a person here!"
Gon was startled when he realized that he wasn't alone in the crow's nest, he was too focused on checking the coming storm that he didn't notice someone was lying there.
He stared at the person leaning at the mast tower, wearing loose brown jacket, a knee-length white shorts and a black laced boot but what made him stares at the most was the person's face…
He shook his head, Mito-san had taught him that it was rude to stare at others, but he couldn't help it.
It's his first time to see a person wearing a headdress that looks like an egg shell, a white helmet with three gray oblongs that were meant to be eyes and mouth. Its look silly.
The person finally stirred and looked up at the boy.
"Hi" gon greeted cheerfully
"..?...Hello." a machine like voice answered the boy, making him raised his eyebrows and totally drawing his curiosity.
"What are you doing here?" gon asked, slanting his head slightly. His mind wanting to ask more questions like why are you covering your head? Why does your voice sound like that? But he's holding himself back. Perhaps later, after they had introduced each other, he thought enthusiastically.
After not sleeping all night, she just wants to lie down anywhere and sleep all day, but she feels an intense gaze coming in front of her, so she wakes up and finds a young boy staring boldly at her.
"Sleeping." Still out of it, she replied. looking around groggily, she noticed how blue the surroundings were.
"Are you alright?"
"Hai"
Although her answer is one word per question, she still responds obediently.
"There's a storm coming, you shouldn't stay here." He advised.
"Ok." She thought the boy was kind and cute, so she took a candy out of her pocket and handed it over to him.
Gon was surprised by the sudden treat, he smiled, and ate it.
"Sweet! Arigatou!" because he's eating a candy, his voice is slightly muffled.
"By the way, I'm Gon. What's your name?"
There was a moment of silence before she gave a response.
"Koemie, My name is Koemie."
