In the previous chapter, things got a liiiiiittle bit tense between Teresa, Rachel and Magik, but things got cooled down and now the girls are getting into high gear as the night goes on with some drinks, so let's check them out, shall we?

LADIES NIGHT
Chapter 2: Bonds between Drinks
After waiting for fifteen minutes for an available cab, a yellow SUV-style taxi finally stops where they stand. Storm takes the front seat, with Kitty and Teresa grabbing the middle seats and Rachel and Illyana taking the back seats.
"Hello Ladies, where to?" the cabbie asks with his thick Eastern European accent.
"Just hit the road and we'll let you know when to stop" Kitty jokes, laughing as she gets back to her seat.
"We could've spent less time if we took on the Magik…" Magik tries to point out the use of her stepping discs but Rachel cuts her off.
"We know it's a lot easier for you to just teleport everywhere, but keep in mind that not everyone likes the 'quick stop' to Limbo" Rachel points out that detail to her friend.
"I don't hear the rest of the X-Men complain" Magik shrugs her shoulders at that comment, turning her face to look at the window.
"Because if they do, you'll leave them longer in Limbo" Rachel replies, crossing her arms as she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath.
"She's got a point 'Yana" Kitty interjects "We have to keep it old-school for the remainder of the night" she adds, to which Magik quietly groans at her words.
"We could be using it if it weren't because of our extra guest" Magik mutters, gritting her teeth but receives and elbow from Rachel.
"Psst, if you take a right turn here, and go up for five blocks, there's a good bar and lounge we could hang around" Teresa gives the indications to the driver, who nods in response.
"Is one of those where we have to make a line" Storm asks Teresa, a question that lingers in the mind of the other women.
"They do have a line, but I know the bouncer, we go to the same bakery, he goes for the muffins, I go for the bagels and donuts" Teresa comments.
"We're here ladies" the cabbie tells the group, announcing the arrival to the place Teresa pointed out.
"Thank you, good man" Storm thanks him, paying the ride fare while the rest of the girls leave the vehicle. All five of them wait for each other and together they march with confidence towards the site, but suddenly Teresa stops, looking a bit confused and surprised.
"Uh-Oh" Teresa mutters, causing her companions to stop, but before anyone could ask what is going on, she quickly points and answers "That's not the Bouncer I know" she reveals to the group.
"They changed the guy?" Kitty asks, to which Teresa nods in response "Great, we'll have it a bit trickier"
"Or maybe not" Rachel steps in with a determined look on her face, walking straight towards the bouncer who immediately stops her.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, girl, sorry but you and your entourage are gonna have to line-up to get in" the man, with tanned skin, big muscles and blonde buzz cut hair stares at Rachel while the rest of the girls approach her.
"But there's no people doing a line" Kitty points out, but the bouncer remains standing there.
"Rachel, what are you planning to do?" Magik whispers at her while Storm and Teresa look a bit concerned.
"Do you know who we are?" Rachel asks him "We're Krakoan representatives, and this girl right here" she gestures with her head pointing at Teresa "is our designated security detail, so if you don't want to end up suffering severe injuries from a woman with high combat training who knows, what, ten, twelve ways to bring you down to your feet, you'll step aside and allow us in" she tries to intimidate the bouncer who does not flinch upon her words.
"Right, sure" the bouncer non-chalantly replies "I don't care even if you're Captain Marvel or even the #$%&+*$% Black Widow, do the line like everybody else does" he adds to the women, who all sigh in frustration at the failed attempt.
"Come on girls, this isn't the only bar in the city" Kitty mutters in disgust while they turn around.
"Crazy Mutie Ginger #$%&+" the bouncer muttered, but the girls did manage to hear that, prompting Teresa to stop and turn around.
"Excuse me?" Teresa asks him while he approaches the bouncer again "Did you call her something?"
"Hey, I don't want to hurt you, alright? Turn around and let it…" the bouncer was trying to excuse himself, but Teresa quickly punches him in the gut with a couple of punches, ending with an uppercut to his chin, then she grabs his belt buckle to pull him towards her and punches his chest, ending with a chop to his throat that leaves him coughing and gagging.
"That is just one of the fifteen ways I can bring you down to your feet" Teresa comments, rephrasing Rachel's previous words "So how about first, you apologize to my friends, especially Rachel" she grabs the back of his head to make him look at Rachel "for insulting her behind her back, I mean, your looks are important for your job and I'm sure you don't want to end with two black eyes, a broken nose and, I don't know, how many teeth you guys want me to knock him out?" she asks the girls.
"Five, one for each one of us" Magik quickly replies, causing the others to look at her.
"Yana!" Kitty exclaims, stifling a laugh.
"I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" the bouncer apologizes in spite of his sore throat, yet Teresa does not release her grip.
"And because of that, secondly we're all granted access to the bar, as a token of good peace, but if I find out you insult them again, you'll end with two black eyes, a broken nose, five teeth on the floor and the discovery of fourteen other ways to fall down to your knees" Teresa speaks with a serious tone, to which the bouncer quickly nods in response, making her release her grip "Sorry about that girls, but wasn't gonna let him ruin our night" she comments, but surprisingly, the girls agree with her.
"I would've done the same thing, T" Kitty replies, high-fiving her roommate while she walks in, with Magik and Storm following suit and Rachel being the last one.
"Hey…well played" Rachel comments, giving Teresa a thumbs up as she walks in, with Teresa stepping in behind her, all in the bar now.
Once inside, the girls look around, searching for a place to chill out. The bar had a good amount of people inside, but not to consider the place 'crowded', with enough room to walk around, and a few spots open for them.
"We hit the bar first or we lounge for a while?" Magik poses the question, with all the girls looking at each other, shrugging their shoulders once they reach a decision.
"I suggest we start lounging and just ask for the drinks at the bar" Teresa speaks with the others nodding, walking to one of the lounging areas, with squared sofas and chairs around, each taking a seat around the small table to relax and hang around.
"Now this is the good stuff" Rachel comments while she sits on the sofa, right between Magik and Kitty, with Teresa on the opposite side while Storm remains standing.
"I'll head to the bar for some drinks, what should I bring for you?" Storm asks the group.
"Beer for me, 'Ro" Kitty replies "As cold as possible".
"Black beer for me" Magik says her request.
"Mojito, please" Teresa and Rachel both speak at the same time, surprising all the girls in the room and even prompts the implied girls to laugh.
"Unbelievable" Rachel laughs "You're not a telepath, are you?" she asks Teresa.
"No, no I'm not" Teresa replies while nervously laughing.
"Alright then, I'll be right back" Storm comments, taking her leave to head to the bar while the rest of the girls relax in the room.
"This really is a cool place to hang out" Kitty comments "Although if you ask me, it could be a little more…I don't know, active?" she poses the question, to which the girls nod in agreement.
"Is not boring, but give it a couple of hours and it might end up like that" Teresa comments.
"Uh, girls…I think we just caught the attention of pseudo-predators" Magik gives the heads up, causing the girls to look at her direction, only to discover a group of men talking with each other while they look at them.
"I don't need to use my powers to know those One Direction rejects are coming over here to hit on us" Rachel comments, just as Storm arrives with a tray with the drinks.
"Did I miss something?" Storm asks while she leaves the tray on the table, grabbing the Appletini she ordered for her.
"Oh nothing, just a group of desperate single men looking at…" Kitty replies but then she stops when she sees the man standing from their stools "Uh-Oh, they're coming over here" she warns the girls, all looking at the group of men walking towards them.
"Hey there" the leading man, a guy in his early thirties, short black hair, wearing a beige button shirt and brown dress pants, speaks to them "My friends and I were wondering if you guys wouldn't mind if we join you" he asks them, all the while the girls look at each other.
"We're flattered, but this is a 'Girls only' gathering, sorry" Storm politely apologizes, but the answer seems not to be enough for them.
"Seriously?" another man, a brown curly haired with a stubble, wearing a blue shirt with a couple of buttons open and grey pants, speaks "Five gorgeous single ladies gathered for a 'girls only' night?" he asks, trying to sound astonished, but the girls see through the façade.
"Actually, I'm in a relationship, and a very good one I must add" Storm replies, referencing her relationship while she drinks a sip of her Appletini.
"I have a boyfriend too" Kitty adds to her comment, drinking a sip of her beer.
"And so do I" Teresa adds, taking a sip of her Mojito, while Rachel and Magik silently drink on their own.
"So it seems that you two are the only ones who are single, right?" the blue-shirt guy talks to them "So…if you like, you could join us" he tries to invite them, but the girls show deadpan looks on their faces.
"Nyet" Magik bluntly refuses, taking another sip of her black beer.
"You heard the lady" Rachel simply shrugs her shoulders, prompting the men to whisper amongst each other and simply leave the place.
"You could feel their desperation from here" Kitty jokes, but highlights the truth in her words.
"Poor, sad little men" Magik mutters while she takes another sip of her black beer.
"Considering the environment, we have to assume that men will try to hit on us" Storm comments as she looks around "I'm surprised no one used the 'Buying drinks for us' card" she adds, laughing a little bit while she sits with the girls.
"All in all, I guess we should've seen it coming" Rachel comments "But I have to admit that I do need to improve in that front" she makes the reference to her current single status.
"No available bachelors in Krakoa?" Kitty asks, taking a long sip of her beer.
"No available bachelors anywhere" Rachel replies, drinking her Mojito.
"Do what I do, explore the space, I got some crazy stuff from my work with the New Mutants" Magik interjects but Storm shakes her head in denial.
"Illyana, you really mean that not even this planet has bachelors?" Storm poses the question but Magik simply shrugs her shoulders in response.
"Maybe I just refined my tastes" Magik comments, drinking of her Black Beer.
"Whatever comes, at least it sure beats dealing with Tinder" Teresa comments, prompting Kitty, Storm and even Rachel to laugh at her comment, while Magik simply drinks with indifference.
"Tinder, where the most desperate of nudniks want to go since Chatroulette doesn't work anymore" Kitty quips, keeping the good mood of the conversation "Now, if you excuse me ladies, I'm going for a quick stop" she adds, finishing her bottle of beer.
"Right behind you" Magik stands from her seat, finishing her Black Beer to follow Kitty to the ladies' room while Ororo receives a phone call.
"Oh, excuse me girls, I'm taking this call" Storm excuses herself, taking a phone call and leaving Rachel and Teresa in the lounge area, but before they could engage in any type of conversation, two of the previously rejected men return, this time focusing on Rachel.
"Hi again" the man with curly hair and almost unbuttoned shirt speaks "Seems that most of your girls have left the field and it's quite a crime to leave you so lonely so…how about if you girls let our company fix that grave mistake?" the guy tries to flirt but Rachel looks at him with disdain.
"The offer goes to you too" the other guy, a man with a thin-framed glasses, black hair, long-sleeved gray sweater and black pants, speaks to Teresa "I know you said you have a boyfriend but…we can keep a secret" he winks an eye at her but Teresa's response is a smile that quickly becomes a loud laugh.
"BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" Teresa chuckles "Sorry, sorry, is just that I'm still trying to assimilate the scene" she tries to talk in-between her laughs "Two guys who were previously rejected by us come and try again, not only with worst lines than the previous ones…but also thinking they will succeed" she takes a deep breath, trying to calm down "But the main reason I'm laughing is that right now my friend right here is thinking about, what, five, six ways to humiliate them?" she poses the rhetorical question.
"Ten, actually" Rachel quickly interjects.
"Ten ways to humiliate you, so here's the deal, either you go back and tell your friends to stop trying or my friend will do that for you" she warns them with a now serious tone. The two men look at each other but they fail to notice that Rachel is using her psychic powers to cast the mental illusion of looking at them as strange demons, scaring them out of the area to the point where they alert their friends, but they dismiss them and, feeling freaked out by the two of them, they take their leave of the bar.
"That oughta teach them" Rachel comments with a smirk on her face, one that surprisingly Teresa shares.
"Psychic powers?" she asks, to which Rachel nods "Nice" she adds, congratulating her.
"You did good too, girl" Rachel compliments her "Honestly, I thought you'd be like Storm and scold us for using them"
"Hey, I know that this isn't the kind of surroundings you're accustomed to, and I'm not saying this because I've read your file, which I did, by the way" Teresa comments while she looks at her "I know this because Kitty does talk to me about you and Illyana, about how deep your friendship goes and the struggles you guys have been through" she starts to show her sincerity "Even if you come from an alternate future, you're still the daughter of two icons of both mutantkind and the superheroic community, that can be intimidating, I know what it feels like to try to live up to a legacy" she comments, feeling how similar it is to her own life, since she follows the footsteps of her parents, both spies from the early days of S.H.I.E.L.D. "But Kitty has told me how strong you are to overcome those inner demons and thrive for the X-Men, for mutants, for everyone, that takes courage, and that's the kind of badassery that causes great admiration" she admits to her, causing her to smile at Teresa, feeling appreciated with her words.
"I don't need to use my powers to know that you're being honest Teresa, and that means a lot" Rachel replies, showing her newfound respect for her "And you're badass too Teresa, you don't take nonsense from nobody and got your own moves, I applaud you for that" she raises her Mojito, drinking her last sips "And hey…I'm really truly sorry about what happened at the restaurant, I don't want to make excuses but…" she takes a deep breath "Losing Kitty was a very tough blow for me, her death was one, the Five's failure to bring her back was tougher, then Sinister's manipulations and Hell, I was mad at myself for not being there when the Council decided to punish her for being mind-controlled" she confesses her feeling surrounding Kitty's situation that forced her to leave Krakoa "I was relieved when I heard she was OK, and I was working with X-Factor when Spider-Man showed up in Krakoa…but if I were there, I would've stepped in for her" she admits "Then I heard that she was better, she recovered and even found new friends and love and I was both happy and mad because I wasn't there when I should've, but now I know that she is in good hands because she has one hell of a good friend taking care of her" she concludes her more sincere apology, showing that Teresa has gained her respect.
"Kitty does hold you in high regard Rachel, she still cares about you, but if you let me give you a piece of advice" Teresa comments "Don't let your work with X-Factor or your duties with Krakoa deny your independence and your desires…take good time for yourself and explore the world, nothing can stop you from hanging out with your friends" she speaks with honesty, something that Rachel takes to heart and nods in response.
"I will, thanks for that" Rachel replies, smiling at her.
"And one last thing" Teresa slowly approaches her "Any piece of advice about Illyana? She does have very intimidating vibes" she whispers, causing Rachel to raise an eyebrow.
"Illyana scares you?" she asks but then she kindly smiles "Well, she does that but, I assume you read her file, right?" she asks her, to which Teresa nods.
"I know that she spent a period of time in Limbo" Teresa replies.
"A period of time being enslaved, tortured, manipulated and God knows what else" Rachel adds to her comments "That can really #$%& up your social skills, so my piece of advice is be patient and tread carefully" she gives her piece of advice, which Teresa mentally takes note and nods in response, drinking her last sips of her Mojito.
MEANWHILE, AT THE OTHER SIDE
After a little while retouching their make-up, Kitty and Magik leave the ladies room and contemplate the scene, which Kitty definitively sees lacking more excitement.
"I really think this place needs to liven up a bit" Kitty comments, to which Magik nods her head in agreement "Hey Yana, can you do me a favor?" she then approaches her friend, whispering in her ear an idea that prompts the Russian sorceress to show a wicked smile.
"Right on it" she replies, walking towards the bar why Kitty looks at her Webware device.
"Webware, search for the sound system and establish a link" Kitty gives the verbal command to her device and after a few seconds, she receives the 'ping' confirming the link with the sound system. Then she turns her sights to the bar, seeing how Magik distracted the bartender with one of her spells, casting the illusion of one of her demons, scaring him enough to run to the back but she locks the door, giving Kitty the room she needs "Webware…play my Techno Playlist, and play it on a loop" she gives the command and right then the screen shows the message 'Now Playing: Basement Jaxx – Red Alert (Jaxx Club Mix)' and the classic techno song starts to play at the speakers.
People start to wonder what is happening, including Teresa, Rachel and Storm, while Magik simply smiles as she looks at Kitty working on her own environment. Kitty walks straight to the bar and she jumps over it, landing to the other side and grabbing a couple of bottles while the people look at her.
"Show them what you got, Katya" Magik encourages her friend while she looks at the gathering crowd.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm Kitty Pryde, and I'll be your new bartender for the evening, so order up and enjoy the night!" she introduces herself and right then she starts to juggle and throw the bottles, playing with them while she starts serving a round of drinks to the people.
Men and women start to gather and watch the action, even ordering cocktails and drinks that Kitty instantly serves while playing with the bottles, dancing to the beat of Daft Punk's tunes, swaying her hips to the tunes as she plays with the beer hose and the jars, serving a line of beers to a group of people who drink in celebration.
And this catches the eye of her friends who walk to the bar, watching the action and laughing at how Kitty is enjoying herself, with Teresa pulling out her smartphone to record her roommate's antics.
"Hashtag Mad Skills, girl!" Teresa exclaims, laughing while she films "You work like a pro, K!"
"I am a Pro!" Kitty giddily exclaims "I used to bartend in Chicago during time in college" she adds, remembering her time at the 'Belles of Hell' in her hometown "If Lockheed were here, we'd go for a set of flaming drinks"
Kitty remains playing with the bottles, lining up a set of cups to serve a row of whiskeys, sliding them to the group of people ad even flirting to a couple of men, then looking at a young woman, with black hair, blue streaks and a tight red and gold dress.
"Say, what's the specialty of the mistress?" the woman asks Kitty, who looks back at her, raising an eyebrow but shows a flirty smile.
"You look like the kinda girl who wants something exotic" Kitty replies, juggling the bottles to mix a cocktail, serving it right in front of her "Ciao Bella"
"Ciao to you too" the woman laughs a bit and grabs the drink, causing Kitty to laugh.
"Ciao Bella's the name of the drink, but that doesn't mean it doesn't apply to you" Kitty comments with a flirty tone, winking an eye to her.
"An exotic drink from an exotic bartender" the woman winks back at her and leaves the bar, all the while Kitty's friends look astonished at the scene.
"Did Kitty just flirted with a woman?" Teresa asks the girls who laugh and nod.
"You can be sure she did" Storm replies, looking at Kitty having fun with her bartending, until she serves a tray full of tequila shots.
Kitty looks to her right, noticing that the bartender is returning with the bouncer in tow, which she catches as a sign to bail out and give him back his spot, jumping back not without serving a tray of tequila shots and head back to the lounging area, calling out her friends to join her by gesturing with her head.
"That! Was! In! Sane!" Rachel exclaims, laughing as she reaches the place and taking a seat "And what's with all of these?" she asks about the tequila shots.
"Some shots courtesy of Señor José Cuervo" Kitty jokingly replies "After that bit of fun, I got another idea…how about we play some rounds of 'Never Have I Ever'?" she looks at her friends who all look around at each other and nod in agreement, conceding the moment to play "Alright then, let's kick it" they all grab a shot of tequila "I'll go first…Never Have I Ever destroyed government property on purpose" she speaks, and with that all the girls drink their shots.
"Seems that miss former S.H.I.E.L.D. spy did some of that destruction" Rachel comments, prompting Teresa to laugh.
"Long story short, I stole a weapon from a rogue S.H.I.E.L.D. division and destroyed it" Teresa replies, remembering the incident with Grey Blade that led her to leave S.H.I.E.L.D. as a renegade, but also what led her to the discovery of her true lineage and the revelation of Peter being her brother-
"This one was too easy, we all done it" Magik comments "My turn" she says, grabbing another shot of tequila "Never Have I Ever humiliated a sibling" with that, Magik, Rachel and Teresa drink their shots while Storm and Kitty don't, since they don't have siblings.
"Let me guess, you two have pulled stunts on Cable and Piotr" Storm points to both Rachel and Magik, who laugh in response.
"This version of Nathan is so susceptible to falling into pranks, so I guess there's a silver lining in having a teen Cable around" Rachel shrugs her shoulders.
"Piotr too, especially during the years in the Academy, I'm sure you remember Katya" Magik comments, recalling how even Kitty herself was involved during the time she was in their relationship.
"How about you Teresa? You really humiliated your brother?" Storm asks with curiosity.
"Let's just say that he doesn't like me to dig into his high school stuff" Teresa replies, laughing with the girls.
"My turn" Storm now steps in "Never Have I Ever wrecked a vehicle in space" she announces, causing Rachel, Magik and Kitty to drink.
"I've never been to space, so I'm still a 'virgin' on that" Teresa jokes "What's the story for you girls?" she asks the drinking girls.
"Aside from the space bullet, I've wrecked enough ships between my stint with the Guardians and back with the X-Men" Kitty replies.
"Recent stuff in space with the New Mutants" Magik replies; shrugging her shoulders.
"Starjammers" Rachel comments, recalling her period with her grandfather's crew, the Starjammers "My turn!" she giggles as she holds her next tequila shot "Never Have I ever…Kissed a Girl" after she says those words, Storm, Kitty and Magik drink their shots "WOOOOO!" she exclaims and laughs after this round.
"OK, this one is unexpected, what's the story behind you, Ororo?" Teresa asks Storm about how she kissed a girl.
"I've experimented in the past, especially during my time leading the Morlocks" Storm replies, remembering the first time she 'rocked the Mohawk' during that period.
"Oh, please don't say Callisto" Kitty pleads her friend to avoid mentioning the name of the woman who has been a thorn on their side for a long time.
"Won't say anything" Storm coyly replies, implying that Callisto was indeed one of the involved.
"How 'bout you?" Rachel asks Magik, who simply shrugs her shoulders.
"Made out with aliens, I think one of them was female, hard to tell" Magik replies "Now, what's the story for you, Katya?" she asks Kitty, curious about when she kissed a girl.
"My early days as the Red Queen also involved partying" Kitty replies, recalling her period as the Red Queen, back when she was the Captain of the Marauders "We had some wild ones, I remember once I kissed a blonde girl full of tattoos" she remembers that moment, giggling as the thought flashes in her mind "It was fun".
"Now that leaves you two without kissing a girl" Storm comments to Teresa and Rachel being the ones who have not experimented that.
"Yeah…you know what? #$%& it" Rachel quips and then quickly grabs Teresa's face, pulling her towards hers to give her a quick two-second kiss on her lips, pulling away and laughing "Done!" she then grabs her tequila shot and drinks it.
"WHOA!" Teresa exclaims, laughing and then drinking her shot "That was surprising"
"Now I get that Katy Perry song" Rachel comments; prompting Teresa to look at her.
"But I'm not wearing cherry chapstick" Teresa points out, then looks at Kitty "So kissing girls and flirting with girls" she comments, recalling her previous flirtation with a female customer moments ago "I have to ask, are you into girls, K?" she poses the question, bringing silence to the group but Kitty shows a thoughtful look after she hears that question.
"You know what?...I am" Kitty replies, surprising the group of girls "This can really put things into perspective you know, for years I've always preached how proud I am of what I am, of what's coursing through my genes or my faith" she comments about her pride of being mutant and Jewish, even holding the Star of David of her necklace when she mentions those last words "But for years I feel like there was a part of me that I didn't showed and maybe was waiting for the right time to say it" she explains, looking now at Rachel "Ray, you remember Brian's old girlfriend? Back from our days in Excalibur?" she asks her, to which Rachel nods her head.
"Courtney Ross" Rachel replies, allowing Kitty to continue her talk.
"One day she showed up in my bedroom with a birthday cake, and I licked the frosting out of her finger" she confesses, surprising her friend with that revelation "And then there was this vibe I kept feeling with Shan back in college, but back then I swore off relationships" she recalls that time in Chicago, especially the deal with Purity and the Wild Sentinels, but she was still reeling from her failed relationships with Colossus and Wisdom at the time, aside from leaving the superheroic life after the death of her father "I've always felt more than comfortable around girls, just as much as I have with boys, I always felt this vibe of attraction that says 'Damn, I'm really into this guy or this girl', you know?" she opens up to her friends about it "Even tonight, I felt that vibe, now don't get me wrong, I love Peter, I really love him, but I shouldn't deny what I am, and maybe now is the time to finally admit it" she smiles and then holds her last tequila shot "I've always have spoken of how proud I am of who I am, and tonight, in front of my close friends, won't be the exception" she then takes a deep breath "I'm Kitty Pryde, and I'm bisexual" she smiles, holding the tears after this revelation while she looks at her friends, each grabbing their last tequila shot and holding it high.
"A toast" Teresa speaks "To acknowledging, accepting, and embracing everything we are" she proclaims.
"Hear, hear!" Rachel exclaims and the girls clink their shots, drinking them at once.
"Thanks girls, for real" Kitty smiles at her friends, who envelop her in a group hug.
"Just to be clear, is this turning you on, K?" Teresa jokingly asks, prompting Kitty to chuckle and playfully slap her shoulder. After that, the girls enjoy one last round of drinks and, after paying for the whole deal, including the tequila shots, the girls leave the bar, ready to tackle the next stop.
"Alright girls, what's the next stop?" Storm asks while the girls walk back on the street under the lights of the city.
"You know what I'm craving for right now?" Teresa poses the question that immediately replies "A Big Mac"
"Ohhhh yes, a Big Mac with large fries" Kitty adds to Teresa's comment "Let's go to a McDonalds!" she exclaims, raising her hand to further establish her point.
"McDonalds? But we already had dinner hours ago" Storm comments, since she is the mostly sober of the group as of right now.
"But now we got the munchies, and there's only one way to deal with the munchies" Rachel steps in and then turns to Kitty and Teresa "Let's hit a McDonalds!" she exclaims.
"McDonalds! McDonalds! McDonalds!" Kitty, Teresa and Rachel start chanting, causing Storm to facepalm.
"Come on girls, there's gotta be another…wait, where's Illyana?" Storm wonders, since Magik was close to them, but as if right on cue, a flash of light appears behind them and Magik shows up "Illyana! Where were you?" she asks her, looking surprised.
"McDonalds" Magik replies, shrugging her shoulders while eating a cup of McFlurry.
"Is that a McFlurry?" Kitty asks, to which Magik nods her head.
"Da, want some?" she offers her spoon to the group.
"That was mean" Teresa comments while Rachel walks towards Magik and holds her hand with the spoon, taking some of the McFlurry and tasting it.
"Chocolate Chips…that's double mean" Rachel points out but Magik simply looks at them and keeps eating her McFlurry.
"You know what? How about we hit a dance club and drain all of this energy?" Kitty gives the proposal, agreed by all the girls present "Good, let's get a cab then" she then leads the way, heading for the next stop of their night.
This one was a pretty long one compared to the previous one, but as Laurie and I planned it, it became a very fun chapter to write.
On a side note, as those who have followed me before, in this "Alt-616" Universe I'm building, I handled Kitty's resurrection very differently than the actual 616 version, so I decided to make a different approach to Kitty's (now official) bisexuality and have her come out to her friends, so I hope it was well handled.
As for the rest, it seems that Teresa has won Rachel over, but still has to go through a lot with Magik. Now they all got one last stop for their night out, so get ready to pull out your headphones, because next one, will be loud.
