It had been Lily's first sleep over, Anyago had brought up the idea when they were in the dungeon with Hajime. And Lily had been so excited and quickly got Hajime's approval.
Lily had had dinner with Anyago and her grandmother her first real experience with dwarven cuisine and Lily had enjoyed it greatly, because as they say food shared with friends taste the best.
And when it became time for bed, they stayed up long past their bedtime, whispering secrets and jokes amongst the two of them. Despite their best efforts both Lily and Anyago were betrayed by their youth and in the middle of the night their tiredness overcame their excitement and they fell asleep next to each other. Anyago had been delighted by Lily's transformation and they had speculate on if that was how Lily would look when she grew up, and how Anyago would change as she grew up, Anyago herself was certain she would have muscles bigger than Hajime's, something Lily thought was really cool.
When morning came Anyago's grandmother prepared a delicious breakfast of waffles with whipped cream and jam made from local berries, something that pleased both the children greatly. After having their fill it was time for Lily to say good bye to Anyago, (since it was a rest day there were no plans to go to the dungeon this day) and she began making her way back to the inn where she and Hajime were staying.
As she entered the inn, she gave a hearty to Natalie and Dragon (who Natalie had been taking care of during the sleep over). Lily inquired about Hajime and Natalie responded that she thought he was still in bed.
Hearing this Lily rushed upstairs to wake Hajime up and slammed the door open.
The sound of the door slamming open made the occupants of the bed gasp in surprise as the woke up. One black short haired man and a woman with pointy ears and long flowing blond hair. Startled they both sat up in the bed and the blanket covering their bodies fell off, revealing that they were both naked.
As Olive noticed the young girl standing in the door glaring at her, she shivered not having expected such a powerful presence from the young girl and she quickly picked up the blanket that had fallen off and wrapped herself in it.
"Why is Olive in Lily's bed?" Lily ground out through her gritted teeth while glaring Olive right in the eyes.
Olive hid in the blanket and kept silent.
Taking stock of the situation Hajime gave the first response that came to his mind in her stead "She's like… your new mother or something… I guess?"
Both of the girls turned their faces towards him and gasped in surprise.
