I'm still looking for a Beta if anyone is interested. But since I have been writing multiple stories the chapters are taking longer than normal.

Protector of Hueco Mundo
Chapter 1
World of the Living
After witnessing the strange situation on the street early today. On his way home he had much to think about. When Ichigo got home, he dodged his father's sneak attack. He told his sisters a "hello" then he told Yuzu he was not hungry but would eat later. He went straight to his bedroom. As he laid on his bed he couldn't get the strange girl with the sword out of his mind.
The fact that it looked like he was the only person to see her battle with a creature. He kept thinking to himself.
"Who was she? I can't make sense of what happened out there today." he thought to himself.
Then Ichigo was able to sense something coming. Then he saw a black butterfly come through his window. Only for the same girl he was thinking about to appear in his room, out of nowhere. Ichigo noticed that she was short and petite, she has light skin and dark violet eyes. Her hair is black with several strands of hair always hanging between her eyes. She was wearing a black shihakusho. While wearing her sheath sword on her left side held by her white obi.
After Ichigo's observation, he snapped out of his shock. He quickly sat up and said.
"Hey how the hell did you get in here?" Ichigo said with a bewildered look on his face.
But she didn't seem to either hear or care what he said. As she kept her stoic face as she was waiting for something or someone. Then she placed her hand on the hilt of her sword, getting ready to pull it out. Ichigo quickly backed away from her in a panic, stopping next to his window.
"Ah! Put that thing away! You're not slicing me up!" Ichigo yelled out with a sweat drop.
She jumps off his desk and lands as silent as a cat. She began to look around for something.
"Hey!" Ichigo said as he kept staring at her while thinking what the heck is she doing here he thought to himself.
Rukia then thought to herself. "It's getting closer. I feel it." She was to focus on what she was looking for. She gasped from the unexpected kick to her rear end.
"Who the hell are you, and what do you want with me?" He yelled out with a tick mark on his head.
Rukia crashed on the floor, with a bewildered look on her face. Trying to figure out what the hell just happened.
"If you think you're a burglar, you're not a very good one. For starters you shouldn't talk to yourself." Ichigo yelled while pointing his right index finger at her.
Still with a dumbfounded face while she was still on the floor. She turned her head to stare back at the person that punted her to the floor. She finally spoke
"You kicked me, but I can't be seen by any ordinary humans. Are you saying you can see me?" She said while trying to get over the shock.
"Well, considering that was my foot I just planted in your behind, you tell me." Ichigo said while giving a hard stare at the girl.
"You were the one I saw in town earlier. I remember." She said as she stared up at him.
"Boy, nothing gets by you." he said with pure sarcasm.
She walked up to him and grabbed his chin to move his face from side to side.
"You look normal, but you must be defective in some way." She said as he attempted to kick her again.
Only for her to side step the surprise attack. Then she jumped in the air to land on his stretched out leg. Only for her to jump again this time on top of his head. Then she pushed off, sending Ichigo crashing to the floor as he grunted from the impact. As she landed with grace on the floor.
"Who are you?" he said it with venom.
"You want to know who I am?" She said in a mocking way while posing.
"Then I'll tell you." There was a pause for dramatic effect. "I'm a Soul Reaper." She then began to explain as much as possible to Ichigo.
Without breaking any laws and secrets. When she was done explaining things. Ichigo decided to summarize everything.
"Alright, So you are something called a Soul Reaper." he said as Rukia nodded in agreement.
"And you're telling me that you were sent here on a mission, by something called the Soul Society." He said then he paused and looked to check for confirmation as she nodded again.
"To deal with demons looking beasts that are called hollows. Like the one we saw on the street today." He said while looking at her again while nodding again in agreement.
"Which was chasing after that girl's soul." He said while she nodded again.
"That's all believable to me, along with flying pigs and the tooth fairy!" He screamed at her as he tossed his table in the air, with a tick mark on his head.
The Soul Reaper got upset from the little rant this stupid human had. She couldn't believe that he would dismiss her story so easily, as a fairytale.
"How dare you. Why wouldn't you believe in soul reapers, when you just admitted you can see spirits?" She exclaimed while feeling offended by the boy's remark.
"I've never seen or heard of Soul Reapers before. And frankly, your whole story is just too incredible to believe. I don't believe in anything I haven't seen." Ichigo argued as she stood up, looking up at the young teen.
"Well, that's true. And I agree with the fact that you're not human. But enough of all this. Why don't you bother someone else with your war games little Soul Reaper. Now go run along." Ichigo said as he patronized her, by patting her head.
The Soul Reaper's eyebrow began to twitch in annoyance when Ichigo began to pat her on the head. Then she thought about how to get back at him.
"So I'm a brat huh, am I?" She repeated this when she sneered at him. She slowly extended her arm out, then she pointed her index and middle finger at Ichigo and said.
"Bakudo number one sai." She shouted while giving a hand gesture.
All of a sudden Ichigo's arm went behind his back and fell face first to the floor. He grunted in pain. As she gave a sadistic grin.
"I can't move! wha-what did you do to me?" he said in a disgruntled tone. While trying to get up off the floor.
"Paralysis! I've used what's called a kido on you. It's a high level incantation only, we Soul Reapers can cast. It's useless to struggle against it. You're just wasting your energy. I appear young to you, but I have lived nearly ten of your life times. I would kill you on the spot for your insolence. If it were not against my orders. So you, little brat, be grateful!" She said with disdain.
Ichigo was staring daggers at the Soul Reaper as he continued to struggle to try to free himself.
"You're got some nerve!" he said as he gasped. When she began to pull out her sword. While giving Ichigo a hard stare.
"And now" She said as she slowly pulled out her sword and then swung it down. She was ready to perform a konso on a wandering soul. Ichigo closed his eyes and waited for his death. Not really knowing what she was actually doing. When all of a sudden they both heard howling screeching nearby. Then they heard something crashing down the stairs, they paused for a minute. Then they heard Ichigo's family scream. The Soul Reaper leaped over and Ichigo who quickly called after her.
"Hey-hey don't leave me here, and let me go. I got to try and protect my family."Ichigo yelled out as he struggled some more to get free from the bakudo spell.
"No I think you're safer here, I'll stop the hollow and protect your family." Then she ran off without another word.
"Damn that girl! I have to break free." He thought out loud. He was able to get up again. As he struggled to get down stairs. When he reached the bottom. The sight of the hollow trying to eat his sister pushed him over the edge.
When the Soul Reaper saw him again, she told him to stay out of this battle. That he would only get in her way of the battle. She said trying to figure out how he was able to stand.
"Shut up!" He yelled then he saw his sister and cried out for help. "Karin!" He yelled out trying to get the hollows attention. Then he began to make more effort to break the invisible restraints.
"Stop! The kido is too strong for a mere human to break. If you keep trying, you'll only cause damage to your soul." She exclaim as she unsheathe her zanpakuto
Then Ichigo slowly began to break it. The Soul Reaper could only watch in amazement that this human was breaking a bakudo spell.
"It can be that it is impossible." She thought as Ichigo began to release a great amount of reiatsu when he broke free.
Then he quickly grabbed a bat and ran towards the hollow. The hollow saw him then he quickly hit Ichigo out of the way like trash. The Soul Reaper quickly took advantage and cut the hollows arm. Letting go of Karin in the process. As Karin was falling Ichigo was able to catch her before she hit the ground. Ichigo quickly ran away from the scene to get his sister out of danger. He hid Karin by a car, then he rushed back to help the Soul Reaper.
In the meantime the hollow vanished after getting struck by the Soul Reaper they were able to catch their breath. As the Soul Reaper was slowly putting the pieces together when out of nowhere the hollow ambushed the Soul Reaper, sending her crashing into Ichigo.
While both were at the moment incapacitated the Hollow took this chance to kill the Soul Reaper as the Hollow was stalking her. When it was about to take a bite out of her. When out of nowhere Ichigo pushed the Soul Reaper out of the way, but in the process he got his arm bitten off. He screamed from the pain. It was heard from several blocks away. Then the hollow quickly slash at him, severing his left leg as he bled out.
When the Soul Reaper got her jumbled mind back together. When she saw the second attack and knew right there that the youngman was about to die. She decided right there to save his sister. She quickly scanned the area where his sister was at. Once she was able to grab Karin from her hiding spot and quickly took her back inside the house.
When she came back Rukia quickly attacked the hollow. Only for it to disappear as Rukia got to the youngman side. He spoke with a strainful voice knowing he was going to die.
"H-h-hey hey, my name is Ichigo was a pause when he spoke again. "Please kill that hollow." Before he coughs up some blood. He could feel his life slipping away before speaking again. "Please protect my family please!" he coughed up some more blood. "You think I could become a Soul Reaper when I die." he asked, but all she could do is nod in agreement.
"Just to let you I'm not afraid to die. Knowing that there an afterlife after you die. So I'll leave my soul in your hands." And with that Ichigo Kurosaki took his last breath.
Not too long after he died. Ichigo's soul appeared as he looked around and saw his mangled body. When he heard his name
"Ichigo! I wanted to tell you thank you for saving me. I'll find you on the other side. And by the way I'm Rukia Kuchiki." she replied back to him with a sad smile.
"Nice to meet y-!" but Ichigo never got a chance to finish what he was trying to say. The hollow grabbed Ichigo's soul and sped away fast enough to open a garganta entering it as it closed. You could hear Rukia cries of anger that this hollow stole a soul from her and a powerful one.
"Dammit! I can't believe I couldn't sense that hollow. It didn't even bother to kill me. He really wanted Ichigo soul so at least I could make sure his family is ok then." She thought to herself.
Hueco Mundo-Menos Forest
When the hollow exited the garganta, it was back in Hueco Mundo. When it looked around it was glad to be in the Menos Forest. It quickly looked at the soul, that was still struggling to get free.
The hollow began to shriek, as it let go of the soul. Ichigo began to try to get away from the monster. He was hoping to be able to hide from the hollows.
"This is just not my day. First I meet the Soul Reaper. Then a hollow attacks me and my family. I tried to do the right thing by saving the Soul Reaper. And I pretty much get killed in the process for it." As he winces by the way he dies.
At least he had a little piece of mind knowing that his family was safe with the soul reaper still around.
"What was her name again Rukia Kuchiki? Dammit I should have listened to her, not to jump into the fight with the hollow. Oh well at least we were able to save Karin." He thought to himself.
Ichigo was brought out of his thoughts when hundreds, maybe thousands of hollows converged on him. He tried to fight them off but there were too many. The hollows began to assimilate Ichigo soul so it could become a menos gillian.
But in the process Ichigo's Hollow was awakened. Since it was fused with his soul. During the process it began to try to absorb all the Hollows that were leeching onto Ichigo soul. The whole situation looked like a shark frenzy But little did anyone know was that part of Ichigo's soul was hollow. It began to gain more power by increasing it's absorbing power by assimilating all of the hollows.
A white substance began to spew from his mouth. Where his chain of fate began to turn into a hollow hole. He was screaming from the transformation. When the substance covered his entire body. When a massive explosion of blinding power destroys a good portion of the menos forests.
Inner World
Ichigo found himself in a different plane of existence. He began to look around where he was at. When he saw two figures standing as they were waiting for someone. When he reached them, he waited for them and asked the simple question most people say.
"Who are you?" Ichigo asked in a curious manner, looking from one person to the other. But gasped when he saw that one of the figures looked just like him but in white.
"Hey idiot, you really did it this time. You and your hero complex finally killed you I see. I was not expecting for you to die so young. I hope you have something to say about that." Ichigo's manifestation said as he snorted in amusement.
Before Ichigo was able to retort, the other figure spoke.
"Ichigo, I never thought you would be passing to the afterlife so soon. It is a shame, you could have been something special. You had the capability to change the supernatural world. The strange man said in a sad tone.
"So who are you both anyways? And how do you know me?" Ichigo demanded as he kept glaring at both men.
"Well idiot, we don't have time to explain everything. My question is do you want to live or die?" Ichigo's manifestation said cutting Ichigo off as he explained.
"Idiot, for the record you're already dead. What I'm trying to say if you decide to live you will become a Hollow." Ichigo manifestation paused for effect, then continued. "Ichigo you will lose most of your memories right now but in time you will gain them back. Your personality might change a bit. Because in Hueco Mundo survival of the strongest, either live or die. You will have the opportunity to evolve to the next stage of Hollows evolution, in becoming extremely powerful and would be able to live for thousands of years if you're lucky." Ichigo's manifestation said as he gave Ichigo a careless shrug.
As Ichigo listens to his manifestation explain one of his options. Even though he was killed because of the hollow. Many questions were still running through his mind. And the main one is how did he have a hollow fuse with his soul? It gave Ichigo some piece of mind that in time he will gain his memories and most of his personality back. But as he waited for him to explain the other option he realized that he stopped talking.
"Hey you! You never finished telling me what happens if I choose to die." Ichigo asked as his manifestation got a deadpan look on his face.
"Can you believe this kid old man? I never knew he would want the option to die. Ah! Kingy you are a riot, please stop saying foolish things. But since you are in the dark and we don't have time to explain everything I'll answer your question." Ichigo's manifestation paused so his words could sink into Ichigo's mind, then he continued speaking. " If you choose to die, you would have to fight for your soul to be the dominant one with the rest of the thousands of them to make a single Gillian. And that process could take hundreds of years too." Ichigo's manifestation said with a serious look on his face.
"Huh! No thanks I think I would rather live than die. I guess that explains why you were being sarcastic to me. But I do have a question: will I have any side effects." Ichigo asked while thinking of everything carefully.
The only thing I could think of is we will be infused with one another. In other words we will be sharing our soul. It would be kind of like a split personality. The only thing I will be helping you with your new powers. We would be able to communicate with one another in battle. There might be times your raw instincts might take over." He said cryptically with a grinning face.
"Ichigo you have other hidden powers but at the moment you don't need to know about them at this time. When you are in dire danger to the point that you might die they will appear." Said the old man in black.
After a moment of thought Ichigo came to a decision. "I'll accept! But you two never answer my first question. What are your names? He asked while waiting for their answer. They both said "Zangetsu!"
Ichigo's manifestation asked Ichigo "Do you trust me." Ichigo thought about it for a moment then said "I do" Then both Zangetsu told Ichigo to close his eyes. Ichigo slowly shut his eyes, not even a second later Ichigo manifestation and the old man pulled out their zanpakuto then stabbed him at the same time. The next thing they began to merge into one being. Then there was an explosion of power. As everything became black.
World of the Living-Kurosaki Residence
Kisuke Urahara has alway Been a curious person when it came down to supernatural science and technology. But when his Hollow alarm began to go off. He quickly went to his lab to see where the disturbance was located. When he got to his lab, he began to check where the reading of a Hollow and Soul Reaper were at his friend Isshin's home. As he checked for readings he saw a big one getting smaller this cause for alarm and decided to go investigate.
"Tessai come with me, we have an emergency. Isshin and his family are being attacked by a Hollow. And someone is seriously hurt, they might be dying." Urahara said as he went to grab his hat and cane.
"Alright Urahara-dono let me tell the kids we are stepping out. And to watch the shop." Tessai replied as he left to inform Jinta and Ururu.
Both took off in a shunpo as they sped from one side of town to the other. They felt someone's reiryoku was beginning to vanish at a fast rate.
"So Urahara-dono, whose life force is it that's dying?" Tessai asked in a nervous tone.
By the feel of it, I hope that my assumption is wrong otherwise they're going to be a broken hearted man very soon." Urahara said cryptically, then continued to speak. "We should be there in a few minutes,'' he said.
When they got close to the location. They saw a Hollow reappear as he grabbed a plus soul and quickly entered a garganta and was gone. They landed next to the Soul Reaper.
Kuchiki-san can you explain what happened here? Urahara asked, as he looked around, at the scene.
"Tessai please check on everyone and give medical treatment. Start with the girls first. Then check on Isshin and try to wake him." Urahara asked as he looked at the bloody scene.
Rukia was still in shock to see the owner of the Urahara shop here. While feeling depressed that the human teenager lost his life to save her. Then she was caught off guard. When the Hollow took the newly acquired plus soul, it quickly went back to Hueco Mundo.
So then Rukia began to explain from the beginning. She told Urahara about the earlier attack. And how she entered his bedroom. Causing Kisuke to pull out his fan and teased Rukia for being a pervert by entering peoples home in such a way. This caused Rukia to blush deeply knowing that he had a point. As she explained her encounter with Ichigo. Then she told him the Hollow attacked the Kurosaki family. And how Ichigo broke free from a kido spell. And how he attacked the Hollow when he saw it had his sister in his claws. While the Hollow was distracted I was able to free his sister. But the Hollow attacked quicker than I realized but Ichigo was able to push me out of the way. In the process it bit his arm off, then attacked again with a slash severing his leg. Before he died he had a last request he wanted me to honor. But before I was able to do konso the Hollow reappeared and took his soul to Hueco Mundo. As she explained everything to Urahara.
As Urahara processed everything that was told he began to run through prediction and outcomes. He just hoped he would be able to help his friend cope with the loss of his eldest son. Now he had to figure out his next problem, Rukia Kuchiki. He thought to himself before he was snapped out of his thoughts.
"Urahara-san I've been having problems with your device. None of my messages I tried sending to the soul society seem to be going through. We need to try to cover a mind wipe around the Kurosaki home. And we need to investigate why I've been having so many problems. Rukia said as she walked away to check on the Kurosaki family.
Kisuke's plan was to place the Hogyoku in her gigai. Kuchiki-san has been having problems with sending messages and getting any orders from the Soul Society. She said that her messages were not being answered, that kind of sounded suspicious. Urahara thought about the chance that Aizen had already made the first move. And he fears that he also has some type of control over the Soul Society.
Better play it save and place it inside a human soul that would be safe and would delay that man's ambitions. Then he quickly thought about placing it in secret inside of Isshin's youngest daughter since he is very protective of her. Since she reminds him of his late wife. But then he thought about it. What he would do to him if he found out that he placed the hogyoku inside her without permission from Isshin. He shuddered at the thought of Isshin killing him. I best ask him and see where it leads. It wouldn't hurt to ask right." he thought to himself.
"Urahara-dono I was able to heal up the Kurosaki family. They will be fine. Isshin wants to talk to you, hoping to get some answers. I haven't told him about his son yet. Tessai said as he was looking around for anything suspicious.
"I guess I can't avoid it forever." Urahara thought to himself as he went to speak to his old friend.
When Urahara saw Isshin sitting on the floor, trying to shake the cobwebs out. He knew right away that he had a concussion. At least his daughters were just unconscious and didn't suffer any life threatening injuries.
"Isshin, Isshin are you alright? Are you able to hear my voice?" Urahara asked as he was checking over his old friend.
"Grrr..! What hit me? Where am I?" He began to ask questions while sounding very groggy. Then he started to recollect everything that happened during the evening.
"Kisuke, is my family alright? Where are they at?" Isshin asked but was having a sick feeling.
"Isshin, sorry to say but your son is dead. But your daughters are fine. Your son was a brave young man who died protecting his sisters. From what I heard he did not hesitate to battle the Hollow. Urahara paused to let everything sink in.
Isshin tightens his fist in anger. Another person that he loved, killed by a Hollow. He could only blame himself for keeping many secrets from his family. And not preparing them from the dangers of the spiritual world. And the shame he felt for not being able to protect his children from danger. And the worst part of this, the death of his son is going to affect his sisters very deeply. The love they hold for their older brother was stronger than most siblings.
"So what do you have plans to do now? Are you going to stop running away from your past Isshin, and tell them their heritage? And your real history and where you come from? Urahara asked as he waited for his answer.
Isshin was deep in thought contemplating everything that has happened in his life. Now that he lost his son, he has to protect his last two treasures. After being unresponsive for several minutes he came to a decision.
"Kisuke, I guess my pride and my secrecy has hurt me this time around. I'll be telling them everything. After they finish coping with their brother's death." Isshin said as he rubbed his temples trying to sooth his headache.
"I'm curious if you will be returning to the soul society in the future by any chance when your children get older? Kisuke asked.
"If I'm able to be pardoned then yes I would like to return and maybe take over a different division. But Kisuke I would like to ask a favor from you and Yoruichi. I would like if you both help me train my daughters? I would appreciate it if that was not too much trouble. Isshin said as he gave a deep bow.
This request caught Urahara off guard, but then he remembered what he wanted to ask Isshin about his daughter. It was like the Soul King was giving him a break from all this madness. Now he needed to come up with the right words so his old friend wouldn't kill him out right. Then Kisuke pulled his fan out, and began to speak.
"I don't see a problem with that, Isshin. I would have to contact Yoruichi since she is always on a mission doing her spying collecting information. Hopefully you daughters like to train hard. But I also wanted to ask you for a favor, Isshin? Kisuke said as he became a little nervous to what he was about to ask when he paused. To think of the right words to say.
"Isshin, I was wondering if you would let me hide the Hogyoku inside of Yuzu? I feel that she would be the perfect person to hide it in. Since she is protected by you. And if she begins to train with us then she would be constantly under watch." Kisuke said while crossing his fingers hoping he doesn't get hurt in the process.
Isshin gave Urahara a deadpan stare. Not able to believe that Kisuke had the nerve to want to ask him to put some so dangerous in Yuzu of all people. He keeps a cool mind waiting for more of an explanation from him. Kisuke knew he was losing this conversation. When he was hit with a great idea.
"Well first off I would make sure that both will have a tracking device on them. I will not just overlook one daughter over the other. You would be able to check on them at all times. If they pass one hundred meters perimeter then your special device will go off. If they vanish out of the Would of the Living the alarm will go off and on the monitor it will show blue for Soul Society. But if they get taken to Hueco Mundo then the dot turns red. Hopefully neither will happen. I'll make a spiritual monitor so if there are people that have higher than normal reiatsu. Your alarm will go off. But if you would like to add any other idea I'm all ears." Kisuke replied hoping this was the hook line and sinker.
Isshin thought about everything Kisuke had mentioned and the amount of surveillance he was providing was more than anything would have done. And from everything he said it made him feel a little better knowing he was thinking of all possible outcomes.
"Ok Kisuke, I'll allow it. Just give me some time to mourn our loss and then to explain everything to them. Then I'll take both girls over on the pretense of train then you could put it in. Oh Kisuke I'll be there to watch what happens. And that is unnegotiable." Isshin said as he crossed his arm and gave Urahara a death glare.
"No worries, no worries everything will be ok." Urahara chirped as he waved his fan in front of his face. Then he remembered a very important thing he forgot to mention.
"Oh I almost forgot to tell you we might have a small problem. We have a Soul Reaper here, matter of fact she entered Ichigo's room. She was looking for a plus soul in your home. She was pretty much there from the beginning. Urahara said as he waited for Isshin's response.
"Do you have any information on her that could be helpful to us." Isshin asked.
"My, My as a matter a fact I do have plenty of interesting information on her." Urahara then paused to think of the information then he continued.
"Her name is Rukia Kuchiki and she was adopted into the family. She is an unseated officer from the thirteen division. She was able to gain her shikai with the help of the former Lieutenant Kaien Shiba. "Kisuke paused to let that piece of information to sink in. "She is originally from Inuzuri seventy eight districts of Rukongai. She was the one that freed Kaien's soul from the Hollow that tried to take over his body just like what happened to his wife. As a side note she still feels guilty for Kaien's death, something we could use to our advantage.
"Think it would be best for you to see how trustworthy she is. Till then, we should wait to reveal more to her." Isshin said as he began to rub his chin while deep in thought.
"Guess I could take her and explain to her. More of the situation she is in. And to keep a discreet eye on Aizen, Ichimaru, and Tosen." Urahara said to see where Tessai was. Then he continued to speak. "Then I'll leave with the young Kuchiki. I'll have Tessai help fix things around the place. And keep the girls asleep. You could tell them the troubling news tomorrow he finished saying.
"Thanks Kisuke, please keep me posted." Isshin said then pick up Yuzu took her to bed, he went back and did the same for Karin.
After speaking with Isshin, they came to a decision. On the way out he ran into Tessai and told him to stay and help out Isshin. Then he walked over to the Young Kuchiki.
"Kuchiki-san come with me. We have many things to talk about. We need to go to a safe location. So please no questions till then. Then Urahara placed a hand on her shoulder and they vanished in a shunpo.
Hueco Mundo-Menos Forest
Once the bright explosion was done dissipating. In the middle of the crater was a really terrifying reptile humanoid Adjucha. It was tall and muscular with long orange mane. Its mask was a demonic skeleton with three tribal markings, left upper side of the mask. And one thick one under the left eye. He has yellow eyes and black sclera. It had more tribal marking on his arms, legs and tail.
Its Hollow hole was in the center of his chest. It had four spikes on both shoulders. It has razor sharp claws and a three clawed foot with a spur like claw. He has tuff of grey fur on both wrists. And since he is a new Adjuchas he had no attire.
When he opened his mouth steam started to come out. Then he began to look around to see if there were any hollows around. So far raw instincts were guiding him to seek combat and to absorb at many Hollows as possible. To be able to evolve to the next evolution and become the most powerful Hollow around. So it began to make its way from the crater, when he got to the top it began to look around. A good portion of the menos forests was destroyed. As it began to stretch himself out. He closed his eyes to sense if there were any prey close by. As soon as he opened his eyes it sped off. Since it didn't have any memories yet. All it did was run on pure instincts. The excitement it felt was invigorating to know that it was going to eat some prey. And a Fight to the death was the real key to survive in Hueco Mundo.
After several weeks Ichigo was able to clear out an entire area. There were a large number of Gillians just waiting for something. And then he notices about five Adjuchas trying to get as many Gillians together.
He began to gain some type of rationality the more he kept fighting. Little by little he began to change his way of attacking. Instead of charging in like a mindless beast and ripping anything apart. It began to try new tactics on the easiest way to deal with an opponent.
In the end Ichigo was able to remember his name and last name. After a few months, he is able to remember his other soul spirits named Zangetsu. He decided to use it as an alias in case of anything. During his time in the menos forests. He was able to learn some of his natural skills and special abilities.
Flashback-Menos Forest
He ended up starting the battle not caring what the other Ajuchas had to say. One Adjuchas had a lucky break by severing his tail, so he thought. Then some white substance started to grow out of the end where the tail was cut off. And in a matter of seconds his tail regenerated again. That was where his instincts kicked in, when he quickly surprised the Adjuchas that severed his tail. By quickly lifting his arms out and with his index and middle finger he pointed at him then without warning he shot a cero faster than the Adjuchas can react by losing the top portion of his body. And in a burst of speed he shoulder checks another Adjuchas the Hollow with his shoulder spikes. Then out of nowhere an appendage shot out and absorbed the dead hollow shocking the others.
While that was going on one of the Adjuchas was able to get a Gillian to come with him and try to smash a demon looking Adjuchas without him knowing. When Ichigo turned around he saw the fist come his way. Then shocking the other Adjuchas once again that they saw that the Gillian fist was caught and dragged to the floor. The same thing happened when Ichigo began to absorb the Gillian with that appendage while charging up a tri-focus cero to the dismay of the last three Adjuchas. Two of them didn't make it, but the last one was able to get away with his life but lost a leg in the process.
The Adjucha was now terrified of this hollow, knowing that his existence would end with this alpha predator. As it slowly stalked his prey.
"Stop!" It shrieked. "Get away from me you monster." It cried out in fear.
When Ichigo got to the fallen Adjucha, he picked it up from his throat and began to squeeze the life out of him. When a moment of clarity washed over him and his beast like mind began to disappear. And a rational mind took its place.
"So who are you? And what were you and the others were doing, rounding up the Gillian? Ichigo asked as it let go of the Adjuchas to let it speak.
"M-my-my name is Fishbone, me and my fellow Adjuchas were ordered to get the Gillians together to go to the world of the living. He said he hoped by any chance that terrifying Adjuchas would let him stay alive.
"Who gave you the orders to follow? Asked Ichigo, trying to figure out what was the point of sending so many Hollows.
"The ruler of Hueco Mundo Lord Aizen." Fishbone said, feeling still nervous.
"I didn't even know Hueco Mundo had a ruler. I figure it was all about Survival of the strongest. Do you know what this so-called ruler's purpose is for Hueco Mundo?" Ichigo asked as he waited for his response.
"I don't know, I'm not privileged to that type of information. Fishbone said honestly.
"Aren't Vasto Lordes the strongest in Hueco Mundo? Ichigo replied as he put all the information he was gathering for a later date.
"How long have you been an Adjuchas, before I answer your question." He asked as he thought about how powerful he was.
"I just became an Adjuchas today. Now keep answering my questions." Ichigo ordered.
Fishbone eyes went wide eyed with what he was just told. He didn't want to believe this monster but it made sense there was no doubt about it. The only thing that didn't make sense was how powerful he was. It was like fighting Vasto Lordes.
"Well there are the Gillian's, us Adjuches, Vasto Lordes. Then you have the Arrancars. That is the final stage of evolutions for Hollows. But there are two factions, the first are Numeros and they more powerful than Vasto Lordes. And last but not least you have the elites of the elite, the most powerful, the Espadas. There are a total of ten of them and anyone of them could give out the orders. They are not allowed to enter the world of the living without Lord of Hueco Mundo saying so. Only regular Hollows, Gillians, and Adjuchas may go to the world of the living." Fishbone said as it began to try to figure out what to do next.
"So who is the ruler of Hueco Mundo then? What so special about him? Ichigo asked. If he should battle for the position or join this ruler. With so many stronger Hollows right now, he needs to gather more information on this Ruler.
"I-I haven't met him since I'm a weak Adjuchas. But I heard rumors that the ruler of Hueco Mundo is a Soul Reaper. And he has two accomplices that are Soul Reaper as well. And they are powerful enough to defeat all the Espadas. Lord Aizen ended up beating previous king of Hueco Mundo Baraggan Louisenbairn, he is the second Espada. Fishbone informs the scary reptile looking Adjuchas.
"Why is there a Shinigami as the ruler of Hueco Mundo? Why haven't all the other Espada fought back?" Ichigo demanded as he began to release reiatsu.
"I-I don't know you might have to find someone that knows what you want to know." He squirmed back, beginning to fear for his life.
In a quick motion Ichigo sent his appendage to absorb the Adjuchas reiryoku to gain leaving nothing left.
Flashback Ends
Ichigo was able to gain valuable information. He was also able to learn things under duress, with the area clear he began to mark as he dubbed "Z."
And for the next few weeks that was his regular routine for would practice his combat abilities, honing his skills. To the point where he can use his cero as fast as a bala just with less power. Either compressing it on the tips of his claws or a grapefruit size ball. For an Adjuchas of his size, he is deceptively fast. He was trying to create an afterimage, but he had no such luck. During times of frustration he would sit on a rock and mediate so calm himself from going into a fit of rage. He would also think about everything that has happened.
One thing he did realize was he was going to try to become powerful enough to defeat this so-called Hueco Mundo ruler. "Shit what a joke hollows being ruled by a Shinigami." he spat in disgust. But first thing is first, to become stronger to go up against Arrancars he thought to himself.
As Ichigo was about to go on another hunt, he heard something that got his attention. He began to look around just in case these weak pieces of trash try to kill him or even try to take off a piece of him to stop his evolution. But he couldn't sense anything. And then he heard it, it was a voice. It was low but he heard it. Not seeing anything wrong with answering it he did. "Hello, Who is it?" Ichigo responded as he waited to see what would happen next.
"It's me Zange-!" but that was all he heard. Ichigo decided to find a safe place to sit and meditate. Once he was able to situated himself, then he closed his eyes.
Inner World
It took him about fifteen minutes to clear his mind, all of a sudden. He heard a word. "Kingy, long time no see ay. It's about time I'm able to speak to you." his manifestation told him.
Then Ichigo opened his eyes to see a ghostly looking being standing in front of him. He would be on guard if it wasn't for the fact. That this person knew him. And was not attacking him. So he decided to start off a conversation starter.
"Who are you? How do you know me? Ichigo said while giving this person an emotionless mask.
"Guess you haven't gained enough memories to remember me. Well I guess you can say I'm the second part of your soul. The last part of your soul is going to be a little bit more tricky to appear. You have to meet certain conditions for him to call you or appear before you. But in any case my name is Zangetsu. He replied as he gave him a smirk.
When Ichigo heard his name he knew that this being was telling the truth. He would trust his instincts since they never let him down yet. It was an unexplainable feeling as they stared at one another almost like a sense of kinship.
"Well I guess nice to meet you again Zangetsu. Would you happen to know how our souls fused together by any chance? Ichigo asked while he waited patiently.
"Geez Kingy, always have to make things hard. Well I know the answers you are seeking. But it is not the right time for me to tell you yet. But I promise to tell you at a later date. Zangetsu said as he gave Ichigo a serious look.
"Ok then fair enough. Are you able to tell me what happened to me?" Ichigo asked while hoping if he was able to answer.
"In short, not too long ago you were killed in a Hollow attack in the world of the living. When the hollow brought your soul to Hueco Mundo they tried to assimilate you in order to become a Gillian. During the process it woke your Hollow power you had dormant inside. That hollow was me, I gave you a choice to live or die. And you choose to live. When we fused, my power was so overwhelming that instead of turning into a Gillian you became an Adjuchas. You benefit from this being fused with me that all the soul you eat and absorb will not affect your mind like all other Hollows." Zangetsu explained to Ichigo as he nodded in understanding.
"So Zangetsu, how much are you aware of what i've been having on my mind? Ichigo asked with a look of curiosity.
"Everything." Zangetsu then gave Ichigo an approving nod then continued. "Your ambition on becoming the new ruler of Hueco Mundo is something I approve of. I know you are still a newborn Hollow in a way since your special. But you need more battle experience and during this time I will help you improve to become the strongest here. You might need help in the future to help you out in your endeavours. Also you might want multiple hideouts so you could keep on the move so you won't be tracked. I like the idea of gathering more information on the inner workings right now of Hueco Mundo. Zangetsu said as he thought on all the options he had with Ichigo.
"Zangetsu, would you think of creating our own group of Adjuchas and others we might me out in Hueco Mundo." Ichigo asked as he pondered more on the idea.
"And how do you expect to accomplish this?" Zangetsu asked curiously if Ichigo's idea had any validity.
"Well, I'll look for an area where we are able to hoard Gilians together in a safe location. Then we can pick one of the Gillian and have it nourish. And I'll see it's growth and maybe in no time we will be able to see a new Adjuchas born. What do you think of this idea? Ichigo asked, hoping it won't get shot down.
As Zangetsu thought about it. He tried to think of the pros and cons with his idea. The good thing about doing it like that. Ichigo would be getting loyal Adjuchas to him only. The problem with that idea that it might take a long time to get results. The good thing about that he wouldn't be alone. The bad thing about it is he would have to sacrifice some of his time to develop his new follower. He would have someone to alert him of any danger they might face. Another thing he would be able to take sleep and nap to gain his full energy again. After considering everything he gave his response.
"I don't see the harm in testing out your idea. We could gage how long it takes for Gillian to become an Adjuchas. And from there you will learn the role of a mentor in a way. And many more things down the future." Zangetsu finishes saying cryptically while having a smirk on his face.
"Well I guess I spend enough time talking to you. I should get going out of my mind. I might find myself being killed if I'm not careful. So you know how you get asked with a confused look on his face.
"Fair enough I'll see you later. And so you know I'll be able to talk to you in your mind when you're in the real world. And you talk to me, try doing it in your mind. You could do it out loud but if enemies are around either they might think you're crazy or think you're talking with a hidden ally. Zangetsu said and then he was pushed out of his inner world.
Ichigo opened his eyes to find himself sitting in the same position when he started to get up slowly. And in a blink of an eye he took off in search of a good area to begin his project.
Soul Society
It was a nice sunny day in the Seireitei. Everything has been pretty peaceful, for the last fifteen years. Life in other words has been mundane and it seems most people are used to it. But as of one hundred ten years there has been a group of individuals moving behind the scenes. But as of recently they began their operation. And made a move to step one's plan, now he was waiting for his subordinate news of their project and target.
A tall slim man with a white captain haori with silver hair and slitted eyes. He had a fox-like smile on his face. When he entered the fifth division all the subordinates in squad five would either say "Good day Captain Ichimaru or quickly bowed in respect instead. After all the greetings he received he quickly shunpo to Captain Aizen's office.
When he got there he quickly knocked on his door and waited for a response.
"You may enter" was heard from the other side of the door. So he slid it open, and quickly entered the room.
Before they began their conversation, Aizen did a privacy kido so they are able to speak in secret.
"So how did it go with the target of interest? Was there any complications since she was sent to the world of the living? Captain Aizen asked as he gave a smile to his fellow comrade, but his eyes told a whole different type of story.
"To tell you the truth everything was going smoothly. She was secretly followed during her time. She even met project x during one of the Hollow attacks during the day. Some time later she accidentally entered project x home. More to be exact his bedroom. At the time she didn't even notice him or where she was at. The best part was when she was kicked in the rear." Ichimaru's smile became even larger after reporting that little part but then continued.
"Fifteen minutes later an unauthorized Hollow entered the world of the living and attacked the Kurosaki family." He paused to let Captain Aizen process the information he was giving. Then Inchimaru continued. It crashed through the wall instantly knocking out Isshin with debris. One of the sisters was knocked to the floor, while hitting her head. But was able to make her way up stairs to get project x. The other sister was captured and was about to get killed, when Her brother came to help free his sister. Right away he got hit and sent flying, giving Kuchiki the distractions to land a hit freeing the girl. As she was falling to the ground her brother caught her. During that time the Hollow vanished and project x was able to hide his sister by a car hiding her from view. Then Kuchiki was ambushed and sent flying crashing into project x in the process." As Ichimaru explained, knowing this next part Aizen was not going to like, not at all as he continued.
"The hollow went to kill Kuchiki but in the last moment project x was able to save her but in the process he got his arm bitten off. And immediately after that one of his legs was severed. Not long afterwards project x died." That had the effect he was looking for unbridled anger. When Aizen slammed his fist on his table.
"Ichimaru, why didn't you try to intervene before it got out of hand. I expected better than that coming from you. Now fifteen years have been lost from your lack of foresight. I had big plans for project x but I see it doesn't matter anymore. Aizen said as he tried to calm down for this unforeseen piece of news. Now he would have to change his plan just a bit.
"Oh but there's more to the report Captain Aizen." Ichimaru interjected as Aizen gave a nod to continue. "When project x soul appeared it seemed that Kuchiki was about to perform konso on him. But out of nowhere again the hollow appeared to take project x and was taken to Hueco Mundo." Ichimaru said as he watched Aizen very carefully.
"Gin in all honesty I don't know how to feel about this whole situation. Tell me if you have any more serious news?" Aizen asked, giving an intimidating stare. This had the effect he was looking for, giving Gin an involuntary shiver.
"It seems Kisuke Urahara came to the scene with Tessai. They gave medical aid to the girls and Isshin. Urahara had a private conversation with Isshin. But the most troublesome news was Urahara took Kuchiki back with him to his shop." Gin said as he finished reporting to Aizen while sporting his fox-like grin.
Aizen could only frown at what he was hearing. It seems that he will have to reevaluate his plans. And make certain changes to his master plan. There were a few unforeseen variables that he couldn't predict. That fact that project x died and was taken to Hueco Mundo was a really the biggest surprise from all this. He had Rukia Kuchiki setup and ready to take action against her. By controlling central forty six he was able to manipulate her actions. But now with Kisuke Urahara a person more intelligent than himself having her in control and with her shinigami powers still on tact he is pretty sure that he is able to open up a Senkaimon to the Soul Society. By returning her there will be an investigation. Not only that but central forty six are all dead all ready. But what happens if the Head Captain comes by they are not able to refuse him. And if that occurs then more people are going to get involved. Seems I'm going to have to play the waiting game to see what will be the outcome from all this. Guess making the best from this situation is going to be the best he could do then.
But the consolation prize will be Ichigo Kurosaki soul or maybe hollow form. I need to recruit him then develop him into my ultimate weapon to bring down the Soul Society. But for him to even get to that part of the evolutionary process he would have to become a Gillian. But the chances of him even getting to that point could take years. But if I'm not able to find him it would be that much of a problem then I still have my army of Arrancar and Hollows he thought. But since they are not doing anything better to do I'll be sending hollows, Adjuchas, Vasto Lorde, and Arrancar and any of the Espadas that want to help looking for the new hollow called Ichigo Kurosaki. I should tell him not to kill him otherwise I would have to kill them personally that committed the crime of not listening to my orders he thought. But first thing first I gotta get my hands on the hogyoku to make my army stronger. Otherwise I will have to plan up another scheme.
After having some thought to himself remember that he had Gin with him this whole time just watching him closely for some reason.
"Do you have any other plans Gin? And please go gather more information to be sure that it is all accurate. Gin you may go now." Aizen said as Gin vanished in a shunpo.
I need to send a message to Hueco Mundo. I'll be heading over to speak to all the Hollows to be patient about becoming Arrancar. And while I'm there, I Would like to see how Las Noches construction looks like now. I need to assure all the Vasto Lorde under my command that insubordination will not be tolerated. And if any wish to challenge me to be the rightful ruler of Hueco Mundo. They are more than welcome to try it if they dare. Most of the current Espada are still weaker than most of the captains. I need them all to be at captains level or above. Maybe during this time I'll be able to get them to become stronger. The ones that still have the ability to evolve into Vasto Lorde are still few. I will have a Vasto Lorde to go with them on a hunt. So they could get more prey so they are able to evolve. By placing the principles as the Arrancars and Espadas. By the time I get the Hogyoku. The difference in power will be noticeable.
Now he has to figure out his next problem, which is Kisuke Urahara. Since he ended up showing himself at the same incident in which Rukia Kuchiki and project x were at, things just became that much more difficult. And since he is of a genius mind. He will get involved by gathering information then could think about the pros and cons. Then he will predict the outcome of each situation. And since I was able to find out his first plan about the hogyoku. He will think of the best possible place to hide it. Since the man was not able to destroy it, then his next move is to hide it away. He is such a troublesome individual just way too unpredictable. I guess this is like a game of shogi. The only difference between us is I will manipulate his board while I do the same to defeat him. While in real life he might not sacrifice his pieces but I will fully try to do the same to my board.
But I have a feeling there will be another unknown factor to be aware of in the future. I guess it is about that time, hopefully my plans and army will be ready for that confrontation. Then again, if I kill the Soul King I will be able to bring to peace to all life forms. And I'll be able to name a ruler of Hueco Mundo after I leave. Maybe by then project x might come into existence. And maybe I'll be able to train him to be the next ruler of Hueco Mundo. Aizen was broken out of his thoughts when Lieutenant Momo Hinamori knocked on his door, while calling his name.
" You may enter." Aizen said in a smooth silky voice as she entered.
"How can I help you Lieutenant Hinamori?" Captain Aizen asked as he began to write a letter.
"Well Captain Aizen, I came to remind you that there will be a Captains meeting not too long from now. All lieutenants are to be present too." Lieutenant Hinamori said as she waited for her captain to answer her query.
"I see, well let's get going Momo." he replied before he shunpo away. As she did the same.
