Chapter 1

"Hey Ria!" Bakugo Katsuki called from the other side of the playground, while she was playing with some of the older boys that were in an intense game of tag. They liked to play with her, she was fast, and was good at side tracking who was it, with her helpful quirk. Her head of course went up then and ran over to her friend who called for her.

"Whats up Katsuki?" She asked back, going behind him and leaning on his back so she wasn't just a sitting duck. The game wasn't over, and she wasn't getting tagged from behind. The blonde boy gave a lopsided snicker at that before keeping watch for her, he knew what she was doing. Of course he always knew.

"Izuku was being more of a crybaby than usual last night, don't tell me, he got your dads dumb quirk didn't he?" The blonde laughed at the idea, Iria was lucky to get her moms, and an upgraded version at that. Just like him, everyone was impressed with her quirk. The only ones who weren't impressed with them were they themselves. Iria dismissed Katsuki's quirk as not being all that, and he didn't even think her quirk would ever be that useful when it came to crime fighting. Ria just wasn't willing to admit his quirk was clearly the best. She would in time.

The girl shook her head at the question and gave a little laugh at the thought, breathing fire would be cool but not too useful for hero work.

"Nah he was just crying cause he's quirkless." The girl informed easily, it was why Izuku wasn't there, their mom had taken him to file his quirkless on record. It isn't common anymore to lack a quirk so for some reason the government wanted 'documentation' or so her mom said.

The blonde wasn't sure how to take the said information said so flippantly, in fact the boy was rendered speechless for a second.

"Oh...um."

"I know right stupid thing to cry about, but he's better now, nothing can stop Izu. And we're not gonna let him get left behind anyway." The girl was so confident in her words, so matter-o-factual, again Katsuki was rendered speechless but his reds peered in front of him to see a boy running towards them.

"Run." Was the only thing he could think of to say, not that they could continue their conversation that was just confusing and making the boy a little mad. How could Izo be a hero now? He couldn't have a quirkless side kick. And they already all promised to be the best heroes ever.

Still the girl didn't even notice her friend's feelings, simply running when she was told. Laughing as she did, and the older boy swore in annoyance as he raced after her. Katsuki watched them for a moment before he turned his head and went back to the playground, hands in his pockets and clearly not happy. Iria was far too involved in her game to notice.

- One year later -

"Common lets play heros," Katsuki had ran ahead of the group then, and the girl couldn't be more excited. They were running to the woods, which means they wouldn't get into trouble for using their quirks on each other. And she always liked the practice, they all did. She ran ahead to be at her friend's side with Izuku right besides her as they made their way past the trees.

"Izuku, go hide somewhere and be the victim so we can save you." Katsuki commanded easily then to their easiest weakest link, and the little one sighted having a feeling it was gonna be him again. For the first time though, he really didn't wanna be saved again.

"Kacchan I wanna be a hero this time." The boy said through a whine, and Iria looked to her brother with a wave of her hand.

"Yeah Tsuki he's never hero anymore, Tsubasa you go." She pointed to the boy with the wing quirk, wanting things to be fair. She hardly even realized it until Izuku said something about it. The blonde though rolled his red eyes at the thought as they started to walk on the log that crossed over the stream below them.

"Princess he can't be a hero if we all have to hold back against him, it's easier this way. Besides we all know if he gets hurt he's just gonna cry and then we're all gonna get into trouble."

"I'm not gonna cry Kacchan, I wanna be a hero too." Izuku cut in with determination.

"Yeah well too bad dork, you should have thought of that bef-" and it was then that Katsuki lost his footing and started to fall off the log. Iria tried to catch him, but missed, her quirk going into action to try and stop him mid air but he was far too heavy for her to handle. She got a splitting headache immediately from simply trying to even slow his fall and fell to her knees. Nearly falling off the log herself, she did slow him, but it had to be just barley. Still he went right into the water.

Izuku though he jumped right over her, running across the log and down to the stream, where Katsuki had popped out spitting out water and coughing. The small boy brought out his hand for his friend then a deep look of concern on his face.

"Kaccan are you ok, did you hit your head?" Izuku asked scared then for his friend and moved closer to help him up, and the blonde looked shocked before Iria noticed a bit of embarrassed misplaced anger. Slapping Izuku's hand away before standing, looking up to Iria then with a very angry face.

"Thanks for the help Princess, nice quirk you got there. If it weren't for you I'd be in the water two seconds faster."

She was already rubbing her temples, headache slowly subsiding, but his yelling not doing her any good.

"Well maybe if you weren't so fat I could have stopped you Tsuki."

- 1 year later -

"Yeah well no one asked you Tsuki." Iria yelled out as she jumped off the swingset of the neighborhood playground, Izuku had just stopped kicking but froze in shock at what his best friend had told him. And Iria could already sense the waterworks coming, but for once she wasn't annoyed with Izuku but with... him. Both her hands were clenched in fists at her side, she was much smaller compared to the other boy infront of her and his little lackeys that had been following him around as of late. And even though clearly the boys were a tiny bit intimated, they were not backing down, still standing tall against the girl.

Katsuki of course deflected her anger, but brought it back to the silent Izuku for some reason.

"Wow Deku, you really gonna have your little sister fight your battles for you while you cry? What a worthless loser." The blonde said with a meanness about him that Iria had yet to see but did not like in the slightest. Tsuki was always blunt, and said what he meant, but he wasn't...like that.

And that was when the girl took a step forward without care, getting into Tsuki's face easily, even if she had to look up to see those crimson eyes she'd do it fearlessly. "What's your problem Tsuki? You think not having a quirk makes someone worthless, what makes you think your quirk is so worthy? Huh boom-boom boy?" Making fun of the little noises Katsuki's quirk made which were no more scary than a cherry bomb before giving a rough shove to the blonde. Who wasn't really expecting it but still not all that shocked either.

"And don't call him that! Jerk!"

Still Katsuki clearly didn't like that she thought she could push him around, and his once teasing gleam turned to an angered one and went to push the girl back who fell to the floor hard with a solid 'ooph'. Luckily her mom let her play in jeans so her knees were safe for now, but she fell hard on her butt and it hurt.

"Says you Princess! Oh I can move pebbles with my mind, so cool, I can throw a rock further, and I don't even get a headache. Talk about Deku one and Deku two." He sneered easily before he stumbled back from force that seemed to come from nowhere and fell as well. Landing a few meters back and flat on his backside his dumbfounded look brought a smile to the girls face, and then his anger made her even more gleeful. And she stood up proudly walking towards the blonde who was still on the ground. Anger that easily rivaled Katsuki's apparent on her freckled face, "Wanna see what's more worthy Tsuki? My pebbles or your little cherry bombs?" And it was at that moment that a handful of

rocks of all sizes gathered around the girl, her angered pouty lip becoming even more prominent in that moment. She refused to back down especially to him, who was acting so strange.

She hadn't seen a whole lot of Katsuki lately, he and Izuko were in the same class together now. While she was placed into another, when they were in their KG-1 and 2 they were all together, in their first year as well. As for the second they were finally separated. She really hung out with the boys in her own class and even some third years. One of her best friends was a third year and she got accepted into the little group pretty easily despite being a girl.

And it was this year that Katsuki decided to start acting like a jerk while she was out of the picture. For some reason or another, and just out of the blue too, this didn't seem like just a bad day, this was slowly becoming his normal. At least towards Izuku, and she didn't like it

The blonde boy matched her then standing up quick and walking forward, his own hands coming to the sides of him, little hands starting to crackle and pop. With bits of red hot explosions coming forth, both of their intense eyes looking at each other dangerously before they moved forward in an instant. They were both so full of hot air that they didn't notice a man running towards them.

And lucky Iria noticed him first because the biggest stone was headed right to Katsuki's, but she had to stop it because she didn't want to hit the stranger. The blonde boy didn't stop though, trying to get through the man with a scowl of anger on his face.

"Get out of my way loser, Princess needs to learn her place and go play with her dolls. Her quirk isn't as good as mine!" The man easily stopped the boy who no longer was producing any fire from his hands, stopping him finally with confusion as he stared at his hands. Iria knew how to play the innocent card well to keep herself out of trouble for the most part. Both her hands behind her back, her rocks already back to the ground, but still sticking her tongue out at the jerk while she pulled at her eye. Only to receive the finger in return.

And she smirked at that.

He was in way more trouble then she would be in for that.

"Alright, alright," the strange man said so easily, but obviously not used to children, he even sounded a little tired, "what is going on here? You two look old enough to know fighting with quirks is gonna get you both into big trouble." The man was stern and slightly intimidating, but neither of them were quick to cower. And then she felt Izuku at her side looking up to the man with tear filled eyes.

"I-its my fault mister, I'm so-"

"Can it, you quirkless nerd!" Katsuki yelled back as he was held back by the man who looked about done with them. At that moment Iria's emerald hues went dark once more and instantly the biggest of the rocks she picked up earlier went flying at the blonde then stopped mid fly before hitting the grass once more. Surprised the girl looked up at the unknown man who was looking at her with red bloodshot eyes and she took a step back then at his intimidating glare.

"What did I just say?" He asked then so seriously and she looked down in embarrassment for her accident. She didn't even mean to use her quirk, it just simply happened. Still how did it stop?

~~~
Aizawa had already had enough of these children and was regretting getting involved until that rock flew from the ground at the belligerent blonde boy. They were all very lucky he was there and that little boy could have ended up in the hospital because of that. It was clear it wasn't intended, and with small children, having a lack of control with a quirk was far from abnormal. Still the damage they induced wasn't acceptable either.
The blonde boy was clearly scared silent then, and took a step back from the situation as did his little friends behind him. Already looking ready to run for the hills, while the pair of presumably siblings. No more than that, they were roughly the same height, shared the same wild green curls, though the girl had hers up in a high ponytail and the boy's untamed around his face and down to his shoulders, both their eyes the same emerald green though the girl was dark with anger while her brothers softly concerned with a tear slicken sheen.
Twins.
He had yet to ever see a pair of twins with one possessing a quiet obviously powerful quirk while the other quirkless. Then again twins were rare, and quirklessness even rarer.
"Common, let's get out of here, let the dorks get into trouble!" The little blonde boy yelled out, who also possessed a rather interesting quirk, more interesting then the girl despite her clear power with it. Aizawa didn't see the need to use his scarfs on children just to make a point. Yet the only girl of the group seemed ready to run after the others who were fleeing until her brother took her arm.
"Ria, let them go, let Kacchan be."
It seemed the quirkless one was the brightest of the batch, and Aizawa's eyes softened when the little one looked up at him with admiring eyes. The girl seemed ready to complain and the boy gave her a soft happy look.
"He'll just take away both your quirks again if you try to fight, and Kacchan will be more mad if he gets beat up by a girl instead." The boy smiled brightly with excitement then as he let go of his sister and took a step back to get a better look at the hero. "Right Eraser-Head sir?"
~~~~~

He couldn't believe it, Eraser-Head the pro hero was right before them, standing in front of them not even a few blocks away from his house. He would be jumping around with joy, had not Kacchan ruined his mood earlier. Still it was amazing, and he erased Ria and Kacchan's quirk right before him, there and then did he never wish for a quirk more, so the hero could erase his as well.

Ria of course got it a little too late, only realizing it after it was spelled out for her and looked up at the man with excitement as well.

"Really your Eraser-Head," the girl picked up another rock with her mind happily, levitating it in the air happily, "do it again, please, please!" The girl asked with excitement and wanted to see him do it again. Izuku didn't see his eyes red up again, he simply gave his sister a look of annoyance. "I'm not a toy kid." Was his gruff response, still the rock fell anyway back down to the ground, Iria putting a hand up to her head then.

She overdid it again, Iria always got headaches if she over used her quirk. And the rock she raised last was much larger than any of the last. Show off.

Izuku would have giggled at the thought if she wasn't in a bit of pain.

"You ok Iria?" He asked her softly, putting both hands to his sister temple like their mom did to help sooth her headaches. The girl nodded as she gave a deep breath, before the pair looked up to the man again who looked a bit dumbfounded, and unsure of what to say next.

Izuku could find the words somehow someway, maybe his excitement and Iria being there to keep his anxiety at bay brought it out of him.

"Thank you so much!" He said with a shy bow but a happy smile, "our friend has been a little…." Unable to find the word " but I didn't want him and Ria to fight because he's being moody. So thanks for your help Eraser-Head, thanks for everything you do." He knew he was being the little nerd Kaccan said he was, but he couldn't help his fanboying. He admired the hero so much, he was a great hero with a quirk that usually would be deemed useless. All he could do was take away someone's quirk, from there he had to be strong enough to take them out. Eraser-Head was strong.

To Izuku that was something he wanted to be able to do. If he wanted to be a quirkless hero, he'd have to keep others quirks at bay too. Work around them and still take out the villain. He had to be strong too, use their weaknesses against them.

The gruff man clearly wasn't very used to being recognized or acknowledged, Izuku already knew he made a point to stay out of the public eye. Still that wouldn't stop him, and his obsession with heros and quirks.

"This all could be avoided if you were more careful," Eraser-Head said finally gathering his bearings then putting his hands into his pockets, " girl, you have a strong quirk, one that could hurt someone if you're not careful. Be mindful of that, it isn't often those with telekinetic abilities can control so much." Which was true, usually the abilities gave the quirk holder the ability to control objects or people. Yet Iria didn't have that problem, the mass seemed to be her own hindrance. And day by day she was slowly able to manipulate heavier weight with just her mind.

"We'll I'm trying, b-"

"Try and do are two different things, when it comes to something like this, trying isn't enough. You almost hurt that boy." Eraser-Head countered easily but still in his gruff tone, clearly not one to accept excuses. And Iria took a breath at that and looked down then, his face showing a sign of regret.

And Izuku looked down then as well, he of course knew it was his fault. She was just protecting him, like she always did, too much if he was honest.

"S-she was just…." Izuku mumbled then taking a step forward, " helping me, I-Its my fault. Ka-kacchan has been a little different now. Iria isn't used to it still." The boy gave an awkward look then but still looked the pro hero in the eye as he talked.

"Yeah well you shouldn't be used to it Izuku, if anyone should be getting yelled at now its stupid Bakugo! But I promise if my brother comes home with one more burn I'll show him just how much control I have, Eraser-Head!" The girl yelled out before turning and headed home, angry for being told off and the situation. Clearly she expected to be followed, but Izuku hadn't moved, still looking at the pro-hero who was watching the girl with a shake of his head.

"She's more like Kacchan then she knows," the boy laughed out with a hand to the back of his head from his awkwardness gathering the man's attention again, "but she can't always to defend me, i-if I wanna be the first quirkless hero that is."

And he noticed the man's look to him change when he said that, most people don't take those words seriously. He already knew that, but he would make them see.

"Anyways...thank you again so much Eraser-Head sir." And the boy ran off to join his sister, who was waiting for him at the edge of the park.
