This Night
Chapter 156
Author's Note: I have the best fans, thank you all for the love and support! I was afraid at one point, that I may catch up to the show, but thanks to all my OC's, that doesn't look like it'll happen any time soon! I'm seriously hoping that I can refrain to watch Season 6 until I can skip the commercials-cause they really aggravated me! I corrected a mistake in chapter 153. Review please!
Summer and Joey POV:
Summer threw a grenade as she started to run toward Rick and the Governor. "Dad!" she yelled trying to get his attention.
"Summer!" Joey yelled at her as he grabbed her.
"We've got to help him! We've got to help them!" Summer yelled at him.
Joey grabbed her face between his hands. "Summer, we have to go. If we go back in there, we die. We can go around, out by the administrative buildings, try to catch the bus. But you can't walk directly into the fire. It'll get you killed, and your dad wouldn't want that. I don't want that! Come on, we have a better chance fighting this way, the Walker's are going to descend on the prison!"
Summer took a look back then nodded. "Alright…" she said as they turned to go.
"It was stupid for you to come out here! You should have gotten on the bus, had half a chance!" Joey yelled as he took the bat to a couple walkers.
"I couldn't just leave, leave dad…Michonne…you," Summer said as she felt the heat of something hitting her in her thigh. "What the…" she said as she grabbed her thigh.
Joey turned and saw a man taking aim again and shot him. "Hey, you've been shot, we need to get somewhere so I can look at that."
Summer gave him the Dixon glare. "Thanks for the newsflash Einstein," she told him. "Damn that hurts."
"Come on Princess, lean on me. We've got to get somewhere to check this wound and pretty quick," Joey told her.
"Just do me a favor, if this is real bad, and I die, don't let me turn," Summer told him.
"It's not going to come to that, it's not going to come to that," Joey told her.
"Who you trying to convince, me or yourself?" Summer asked as she grimaced.
"We don't even know how deep it is. Plus what are you always saying? Only thing that can kill a Dixon is a Dixon, right? So that wasn't a damn Dixon that shot you, cause if it had been, they would have had better aim then that, and you'd be dead. So, stop thinking the worse, and think like a Dixon. Fight, you aren't going to give up on Rick, your mom, Carl, Judith, the baby. And you aren't going to give up on me," Joey informed her as he helped her.
Summer looked at him. "Something you got to say to me Joey?"
Joey turned and looked at her. "You're going to make me say it aren't you?"
Summer looked at him. "I was just shot, good time as any," she challenged him.
"Summer Grace Dixon I Joseph Elkanah London love you," Joey told her.
Summer looked at him as she started to say something before she heard something. "Judy…." she whispered.
"What? Judy?" Joey asked as he looked at her.
"Look Ty has Judy…" Summer said as she noticed Molly and Lizzie. "Ty!" Summer said as she went to go to him.
"Woah, remember you were shot!" Joey said as he helped her. "Tyreese!" he yelled at the other man.
Tyreese, Molly and Lizzie's POV:
Molly ran next to Tyreese. "What are we going to do? Where are we going to go?"
"We'll find a place, we just need to get away from the prison," Tyreese told them.
"They're all going to come back, Tyreese, you don't have to worry," Lizzie told the man. "I didn't mean to shoot that woman in the head, I wanted her to come back."
Molly looked at her. "They aren't the same Lizzie."
Tyreese looked at them. "What are you talking about Lizzie?"
"She thinks that when we die and come back as walkers'….I don't know. Mika understood her better," Molly answered.
"Mika got scared, she didn't fight. So she's gone, but she'll come back," Lizzie said. "So will Sasha," she told them.
"Lizzie that's enough. Right now, we need to find somewhere to stay the night. Get you three girls under some shelter," Tyreese told them as he bounced Judith. "It'll be alright, sweet heart."
"Do you hear that?" Molly asked.
Tyreese stopped. "You both got guns right?"
"Yes, but Molly didn't use hers. She got scared," Lizzie said.
"It's alright to be scared, Molly. The two of you should have been on the bus," Tyreese told them. "Did that sound like someone called my name?"
Molly and Lizzie both turned and looked. "Ty, it's Joey and Summer!" Molly said.
"Molly hold Judith," Tyreese told her as he handed the baby to her. "You both stay right here, watch out for each other. One of them looks hurt," he said as he ran to help.
Joey nodded at the other man as he came close. "Good to see you, Tyreese," he said.
"Good to see you too. Summer? You alright?" Tyreese asked as he went to help her.
"She was shot, don't know how bad it is, we haven't got a chance to look at it," Joey said.
"I don't think it's that bad, I would have passed out by now," Summer told them.
"Just a minute ago, you were thinking that you were going to die," Joey reminded her.
"You told me I couldn't, remember," Summer told him. "And before you told me your middle name," she added with a smirk. "And before we found Judith. Ty, did you see mom? Dad? Carl? Uncle Merle? Uncle Daryl? Sasha or Lexi? Any of them?"
Tyreese shook his head. "No, but I know your mom got on the bus. We need to get somewhere to look at that wound. Bad or not, we need to get that bullet out."
Molly ran up to them with Judith. "The blood's going to attract walkers'," the brown hair girl pointed out.
Summer kissed the top of Judith's head. "You're right Molly. So we need to figure out somewhere where we can look at it. Lizzie did you see Mika?"
Lizzie shook her head. "She got scared, she didn't fight like Carol taught us. She was weak and now she's gone," she said as she focused her eyes on the wound. "If you die, you can come back."
Summer put her hand on Joey's arm to hold him back. "No one's going to die Lizzie. And, if I did, I want you to take a knife to my head, and I'd thank you for doing it. Come on let's go," she said as she glanced back at Lizzie. "Psycho," she mumbled.
Author's Note: Oh my gosh, Summer is a stubborn Dixon. She made me write this 3 times! GRR. Please review.
