Author- I don't know if I can even call myself an author but here it goes.

Disclaimer!

I don't own anything, all of this is JK Rowling's. Also this is my first fic on this site so bare with me and my awful grammar and spelling. I am in no way shape or form a professional writer and this is just a hobby. I am also from America, so the only British words I know are from Harry Potter so bare with me. ANNNDD I'm awful at spelling and grammar so i apologize in advance. Also, as I said at the beginning, this fic is a combination of a bunch of head-canons and ideas that I've seen on Pinterest. So some of the points or conversations in the story are not original. I decided to put them all together. Anyway... here's chapter 8!

Chapter 8-

~Harry POV~

Harry was laying next to Ginny in their shared room. She was asleep on his chest, while Harry was kept awake by his thoughts. These weren't the 'bad thoughts that are very very bad and you should not think them or I'll stop giving you kisses' thoughts, as Ginny called them. He was staring at the ceiling, just thinking. He didn't even notice when Ginny woke up and was staring at him in confusion.

"What are you thinking about?" Ginny asked.

"Many things." He said simply, "Though at the moment I'm imagining the reunion Remus and Snape must've had with my mum and dad." Harry smiled at the thought.

Ginny turned and stared at the ceiling, smiling, "Yes, they are probably having a very fun party up there."

~Meanwhile in heaven~

Severus walked towards the light, with others at his side. He assumed that the others were who died in the battle, he recognized Remus and his pink-haired companion. As they passed through the blinding light he saw figures standing, waiting. As the group walked further the group dispersed and walked to the people waiting, their pasted loved ones. Severus turned to his right and watched Remus and his companion walk to a group of four. Severus watched as Sirius and James embraced Remus, tears in all their eyes. The pink haired woman stood politely back, but when a red headed woman side-stepped the three hugging and hugged her she looked shocked. Severus didn't hear it but Lily Evans thanked Tonks for making Remus happy. Severus walked over to the group, his eyes on Lily.

When he was standing behind the pink haired woman, Lily saw him. Severus, with tears in his eyes, "Lily?" Lily calmly let go of the woman and walked over to him. A faint 'oh no' could be heard from James, but Severus didn't take any care. He held his hands out for a hug but all he got was a slap so hard it could leave bruises.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH! YOU BULLIED MY SON FOR 7 YEARS AND EXPECT A HUG?!" Lily was on top of him now, punching him with all her strength. "HOW DARE YOU!" James and Remus waited another second before pulling Lily off Severus.

Sirius was in the background cheering her on, "You go girl! Beat him to a pulp. Lily! Lily!"

Severus got up slowly and looked into Lily's raged eyes asking for forgiveness, but it was James who talked, "I don't think she's going to warm up to you anytime soon, Snivellus, she's mad at you for more than just what you did to Harry." James' own words were tight with anger.

"OH! Don't even get me started on how you treated Sirius and Remus! And that muggle-born, Hermione! Severus Snape if you weren't already dead, I'd kill you myself." Lily practically hissed at Severus. Just then a man with a clipboard walked up to Severus.

"Hey man, since you worked at Hogwarts and were headmaster at a time you can stay here or you can live at Hogwarts in the paintings, just sign here." The man said, holding out the clipboard and a pen. Severus looked back to the others.

"Albus signed, he almost got a black eye for raising Harry like a pig for slaughter and for not making an effort to prove Sirius innocent." James said, now holding Lily lovingly but still restraining her.

"I am truly sorry for my actions," Severus said to Lily as he signed the paper. All she did was make a snort of disbelief. The next thing Severus saw was McGonagall signing papers in the Headmistress office.

Wednesday-

~Harry POV~

After going to the ministry Monday Harry assumed that he wouldn't need to go into the public eye for awhile. But to his disappointment, him, Hermione, and Ron were expected at Gringots bank at 2pm.

"Do you think they'll ban us, or feed us to the dragon." Ron contemplated while eating a piece of bacon. His comment didn't settle Hermione who was practically bouncing in her chair with nerves.

"Well, it was for the sake of the world," Harry consoled, "But that dragon is better free than underground chained up." Harry knew this statement was irrelevant but it would get Hermione ranting instead of worrying. Ron and Harry had heard the rant about the dragon's environment many, many, MANY, times. Hermione went as far as writing a letter to Charlie in Romania. Hermione read the receiving letter aloud, and Charlie had told her that he had done his best to stop the use of dragons in the vaults but alas it had not worked. He even told them that he, himself had written to a Scamander about the ordeal and was given the same answer.

"I mean did you see the scars on the poor thing," Hermione said, waving a piece of bacon that Ron barely ducked.

"Yes, 'Mione, we all saw them. Maybe when you get into your new position you can write a law or something," Ron said, setting the bacon pack on the plate.

"I was going to eat that," Hermione grumbled. Ron looked at her with a face that said, no you weren't. Ginny came bouncing down the stairs, her hair bouncing as well. A grin came onto Harry's face at the sight of her that earned a blush and a smile from Ginny as she came and sat down next to him. Harry was snapped out of his daze with a clap on the shoulder from Ron.

"Congrats mate, you're the first guy to make Ginny blush."

"If you don't stop I'll make your face red and purple permanently, then everyone will think they make you blush," Ginny said with a sweet smile.

Ron looked at her horrified. Then he looked to Harry, "Good luck with that one mate." Harry reached under the table and held Ginny's hand. Even though he was looking at Ron he could feel the anger coming off of Ginny. Absentmindedly he started stroking his thumb on the back of her hand. Slowly Ginny relaxed and started to eat one-handed. Harry released her hand so she could eat, but his actions earned a frustration glare from Ginny. Harry gave her a look that said, eat.

"Well, I'd say we need to leave now," Hermione said, frustrated with waiting, stood up. Ron pulled her back down.

"'Mione, it's ten and the appointment isn't until 2."

"Well, better to get there early," But with a look from both Ron and Harry she sighed in defeat and stared picking at the wooden table.

"Where are you going?" Ginny asked Harry.

As Harry was about to answer, Ron said, "Not sure, either fiery death by dragons or a stern talking to." Ginny whirled to Harry, worry clouding her eyes. Harry held her hand once more.

"We have to go to Gringots," Harry said, glaring at Ron. Ron raised his hands.

"What? Those are possibly the outcomes." Ron said, pleading his case.

"We've been summoned to Gringots and Ron thinks the dragon will eat us but there is no dragon and won't be if I have anything to say about it." Hermione said, crossing her arms. Ginny nodded, agreeing, but gave Harry a look that conveyed his and Rons thoughts when Hermione looked away.

"'Mione? Why don't we take a walk to shake off your nerves." Silently Hermione stood with Ron and walked out the front door towards the garden.

"When will you be back," Ginny asked.

"Well, you see Gin." Harry started, taking her hands in his, "You know I love you more than life itself and I plan on marrying you one day, and I thought that you should be there. It's a side of my life that I don't really like, but I want you to know it even if I hate it." Harry was hanging his head now.

"Harry, I love you and the amount of money you have wont change that. I would be happy with you if we lived on the side of the road." Ginny had her finger under his chin holding it up. Harry smiled and kissed her.

Ginny pulled away first, "I'm going to take a shower and get dressed." She pecked his cheek and stood up, heading for the stairs. Harry just smiled after her.

The four teens walked into Gringots. Harry, being used to the cold treatment, walked to one of the desks with Hermione at his side and their significant others behind them. Mr, and Mrs. Weasley always got their money for them while Harry and Hermione got theirs by themself. Hermione spoke to the goblin, Harry knew she had been waiting and planning on what she would say all day.

"My name is Hermione Granger, this is Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, and, Harry Potter." Hermione said gesturing to them, "We were sent an owl summoning us here at 2." The goblin looked over his desk at the four.

"Three were summoned," He hissed. Harry turned and grabbed Ginny's hand.

"I got a separate letter a week ago, requesting a meeting to discuss my vault. Ms. Weasley is to accompany me" Harry said, trying to be formal like Hermione.

"Very well," The goblin snarled, "The summons are for the three only, she can wait elsewhere." Ginny was holding Harry's hand with enough force to break it. But Harry's own anger made him feel numb to the pain. "Follow me." The goblin finished. Harry turned to Ginny and nodded once.

"Send a patronus if you need me," Ginny mumbled so only Harry could hear.

The goblin lead the trio into an office. It was an average size and was the same style as the rest of Gringots. One of the walls was occupied with a huge paining of an ancient looking goblin in armor. The other with bronze built in safes, small with barely enough room for a key hole. The desk in the middle of the room didn't catch Harry's attention but the wizard sitting behind it.

"The goblins hired wizards for the summons and meetings," The wizard said, most likely from the trio's confused faces, "Hello, My name is Samuel Rubble." He offered his hand but the teens kept their hands in their pockets on their wands. Harry, Ron, and Hermione were still cautious with the new people they met.

"Fair enough. Anyway, the goblins have decided that no charges will be made against you three for what happened a couple weeks ago. Voldemort," the wizard winced, "killed many of their kind this spring, and many of them are grateful for what you three did at the battle of Hogwarts, even if they don't show it. If you three want to view or discuss the contents of your vaults I am also here for that purpose. Harry there are matters that need to be discussed and you can meet with me another time are now. What ever works for you." The wizard was smiling at all of them and it put Harry on edge. Harry silently sent a patronus to Ginny and looked at Ron and Hermione.

"I'm quite fine with my vault." Hermione said, she looked at Ron in silent question, with a nod she continued, "Goodbye Mr. Samuel." She looked at Harry, "We will meet you home." With that Hermione walked out hand in hand with Ron. Ginny pasted them as they walked out and caught the door. Harry smiled at her as she sat down.

"Mr. Samuel, if it is alright I would like to have the meeting now."

"Oh, yes well. As you know you have your vault. Well that sum was only a small portion your parents left you. The full amount of the Potter fortune went to you when you were of age. And being the last heir you inherit all of it. And you also have been given the Black family vault. As Sirius being the heir whether his mother and father liked it or not, gave all of his wealth to you." As he finished, Ginny had her mouth open. Gaping.

"How-how much," Ginny asked. Mr. Samuel wrote a number on a scrap of paper. Ginny coughed at her sudden intake of breath. Harry didn't skip a beat.

"Does Theadore Remus Lupin have an account set up for his future?"

"No, not at the moment."

"Does Andromeda Tonks get enough money from Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Lupin to set one up."

"No, I'm afraid not."

"Would you please put, half of the Black family fortune into an account for Teddy and Andromeda. Just the money not the objects." Samuel started writing on his notepad.

"Out of the last half could you donate half to the recovering families and Hogwarts, and the other half to an animal shelter here in London."

"That all can be done."

Harry smiled,"Thank you." He stood and left, him and Ginny holding hands. Harry was practically dragging her as they stepped outside and apparated to their bedroom at the burrow.

"H-harry that was a lot of money." She sat on the bed.

"I know. I'm sorry."

"Sorry? How could you be sorry?" She stood and took his face in her hands, "We can buy a great big beautiful house, and raise a family, Oh! and have a dog! Oh, Harry this isn't something to be sorry about." Harry smiled at her.

"I love you," Harry said.

"I love you too, you know that," Ginny said, "Is there a reason why you decided you wanted to let me know that you love me?"

"Your reaction was the best I could have asked for."

"I didn't scare you away with the babies talk?"

"It would be an honor to have red-headed babies with you." Harry picked her up in a hug and swung her around. As he set her down he gave her a soft kiss.

"I'd like a messy black haired baby" Ginny said with a mock thinking face. Harry made his face into mock shock. "What?" Ginny demanded.

"That poor child that has to go through dealing with this mess," he gestured to his head.

"Oh, they'll be fine."

"Next time you see Hermione, ask her how many spells she tried to make my hair not a mess."

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say all of them." Ginny laughed, Harry gave a serious nod and rubbed his head at the memory. That only made Ginny laugh harder.
