Tokyo, Japan…

"Okay...remember the plan." Brave said. "We need to make this attack look convincing. True, my Illusion Style is able to create multiple illusions at once. But they'll figure it out if they touch them. That's why I need you, my partner."

"Right. My Mist Style confuses the senses of anyone it envelopes, making them believe anything they see is real." Aurora said. "That's why we make the best team."

"Heh...yeah. Just remember, once things are set, avoid shooting civilians." Brave said.

"Right. We're not out to kill anyone who isn't involved." Aurora said. "But still… this is all for taking everything back. What they took from us. From everyone."

"Yeah." Brave said. "Hopefully this will be enough to enrage Ishihara to the point of believing this little act. He has been known to be pretty smart about these kinds of things."

"It will work. It has to." Aurora said. "For everyone."

"For everyone." Brave replied as the two joined hands and activated their powers.

"We're gonna take it all back!" both of them said.

A Huge wave of mist then enveloped the entire city, following that, to the eyes of every citizen in town, a large armada of ships appeared over the skyline.

Lasers then started firing around the building, sending the citizens into a panic. It wasn't long before ground troops started to appear, drones and robots firing lasers everywhere, along with white skinned and green eyed beings that bore resemblances to Hordak, terrorizing everyone.

"(What you're seeing here is live footage of a mysterious alien invasion attacking Tokyo, just mere weeks after the conclusion of the Olympic Games!)" A japanese reporter said in the midst of the destruction as he avoided the explosion. "(The invaders came from absolutely nowhere, and started attacking the city! What they want, we don't know!)"

The Hero Alliance was watching from a viewing screen of the report.

"Looks like Tokyo is being shaken up again." David said getting up. "But this doesn't make sense. Why would Horde Prime attack Tokyo? We don't have anything that could be of value to them. I better investigate."

"Sounds like a good plan to me." Mark said.

"Ready for your first job with us, Zacian?" David asked.

"As always." Zacian said.

"Alrighty then. Let's go." David said.

The Galaxy King then traveled to Tokyo as the alliance arrived to witness the attack still raging.

"It just doesn't make sense. Why's Horde Prime even here attacking the city?" Glimmer asked.

"My guess? He's probably here looking for you and the other princesses so he can activate the Heart of Etheria for himself." Vashyron theorized.

"Yeah but...shouldn't he be looking in the Magic Universe still?" Jexi asked.

"Something about this feels off." Lea said.

"Seems I'm not the only one feeling that way." a voice said as Emi appeared on the monitor.

"Emi! Perfect timing. Are you guys alright?" David asked.

"Yes. We are glad to have Jump Force by our side." Emi said. "While a few buildings were attacked, no one has been actually hurt. That...seems odd. We should be getting multiple casualties."

"It might not fit Horde Prime's MO, but there is a group we ran into that fits that kind of deal." David said.

"You remember the news report about the attack on the Universal Government HQ, right?" Zacian asked.

"The Knights of the Lost. They could be staging this attack as a way to draw us out." Noir said.

"Is it really them? It all seems so real down there…" Perfuma mentioned.

"They must have a few members that specialize in illusions." Hope said.

"Which is...pretty bad for the armed forces down there. As far as they know, this is all real." David said. "I'm kind of worried about Uncle Morinari down there."

"Morinari? Oh, right. You mentioned that you have family in the military." Arctozolt said.

"I'm sure the Jump Force is keeping him safe." Noir said. "Besides, you heard Emi. These guys in the Knights aren't hurting anyone."

"But they're still blowing up buildings. That's not exactly nice." Scarlet said. "Maybe there's a way to break the illusion?"

"Normally in situations like this, you attack the one creating the illusions." Sunset said.

"And there is a flaw in Noir's theory. The civilians may be spared, but the SDF is fair game." Leopardmon said.

"Either way, it would seem our objective is clear." David said.

"Yeah...we need to find our culprit and fast." Jexi said.

It didn't take long before they touched down in Tokyo with Brave and Aurora watching from an alley.

"Looks like our deception worked wonders." Aurora said.

"Yes. But now comes the hard part...getting them to actually believe what's happening is real. Time to step in." Brave said as his appearance changed as he stepped out. "So, these are the famous Dimensional Heroes, are they? And you've brought my princesses. Greetings...I am Horde Prime."

"What do you think you're doing? Tokyo is not yours to invade." Rainbow said.

"Any world is free in my eyes as you creatures fail to realize what you need." Brave said.

"You're right. It is...and that's the problem." David said.

"What? You intend to compare me to the rest of you?" Brave said.

"All I'm saying is that an attack on Tokyo doesn't quite suit you. If you are aware of what it represents, then an attack without your forces at full power would be quite unwise." David said.

"Fool! Do you not see the massive army of warships and bots all around." Brave said.

"Yeah, we see them. Question is if they are real or not." Jexi said.

"Let's test that theory, shall we?" David asked as he took out a Pokeball. "I've been wanting to show him off against Jexi and Cheetah along with Zacian, but since Mayumi knocked me out of the first round...Well, better late than never, I'd say. Show 'em your stuff, Rokuten Maou!"

David tossed his Pokeball, and out popped Mewtwo, nicknamed Rokuten Maou.

"You think something created in a lab can stand to this army? Why, if it even attempts to touch me, I'll be left with no choice but to kill it." Brave said.

"What's he thinking? I can't shoot something like that!" Aurora thought to herself. "It's fine. They'll buy it as long as his illusions and my mist hold up."

"Oh, it's not you he's discerning." David said.

"Pardon?" Brave asked.

"Mewtwo...is a Psychic-type Pokemon. I'm hoping you know what this means. If your army is indeed fake...then that means the entire operation falls through right then and there." David said.

"And if it's real? What then?" Brave asked.

"Well, I guess we'll just have to take that chance, will we? I mean, it's not like it changes anything between us. We're already enemies of the Horde. And...if you really are Horde Prime...then there's someone here you might recognize." David said.

"Of course. How could I not recognize the princesses Adora, Glimmer, Mermista, Perfuma, Frosta and Scorpia." Brave said.

"And me? You and I met for a...brief moment." Catra said.

"Oh...yes. Of course. How could I forget you...Catra." Brave said.

"Nice you remember my name. Except...the guy called me little sister." Catra said.

"Busted." David said with a smirk.

"Hehehe. Well, can't be perfect all the time." Brave said, dropping his disguise.

"I know you...you're that guy from the shrine." Yoko said.

"So, you're already acquainted. That explains a lot." David said.

"Hehehe. Well, never really was much of an actor. The name is Brave. I'm the Knight of Hope. And part of the duo that carries out the work for his majesty." Brave said.

"Why go through all this trouble to stage an attack by Horde Prime on David's hometown?" Hope asked.

"For what you just said. This guy is a full blooded Japanese. He'd go mad with anger if anyone harmed his city and take his rage out on the one who caused it. So the king thought it best to stage this fake invasion to try and get him and his little buddies to eliminate the real one." Brave said.

David imitated a buzzer. "Wrong again. I'm not full-blooded."

"I know. You're part Lunarian." Brave said. "But I didn't mean in the literal...nevermind." he said. "All we're doing is cleaning up the multiverse of the major diseases. Why, we already took care of one big bunch of pests. But there are a lot more to get."

"Ah, yes. The Universal Government. Well done. I'm sure you must be so proud." David said in a mock clap. "But seriously. You have to forgive me for not taking you seriously, but it doesn't really seem like a well thought-out plan at all."

"Yeah. Our king just made this one up on the fly. I didn't even think it would work. Just went with the motions as it were." Brave laughed.

"But now you just let us know who you are after. And judging from your little speech, you don't seem to be fully affiliated with him either. I can't help but feel there's something else going on with you and your little partner." David said.

"Now that is where you're wrong. That guy picked us up when we were at our lowest. He made us a promise and we intend to keep it." Brave said drawing his gun as Aurora jumped out and stood beside him holding her gun.

"We're gonna take it all back! A multiverse free of tyrants and villains!" they both said.

"Sounds like a noble goal, but I think you're really missing the point here." David said. "You see, my goal is a little different, albeit a little idealistic to be honest." he said with a light blush. "I want to create a world where everyone can be happy. Inspired by this very city, where people and creatures from different worlds can coexist, regardless of race or background. I know, I know. Sounds a little cheesy, right? But at the same time, some people marked as villains aren't that way because they wanted to. They just need someone that can help them along without self-destructing themselves. At least...that's what I believe. I know not a lot of people feel that way."

"Yeah...but you're wrong. It's not cheesy. It sounds like a damn good goal." Brave said.

"Yeah. I know of that dream multiple times." Aurora said as the mist around her faded, showing her rabbit features.

"She's a beastman." Hope said.

"Uh...yes." Aurora said.

"We both know that dream well. See, we both were raised in the slums by ourselves. I didn't have anyone to call family, she lost hers to a mugger who she went and killed after with the gun he dropped. We both found each other and that's what started our little path. We eventually met Barl and then that sent us right to this point." Brave said.

"I can tell you two have been through a lot, and I can understand your dream." Hope said. "But… on the other hand. I'm no fan of people who want to accomplish it by killing others. Even if you spare ones who willingly step down."

"Uh, Hope… Aren't you forgetting something?" David asked. "We...kind of do that too on occasion. Yeah, that's right. I admit it. We tend to do that stuff too. And honestly, I don't think that puts me on a good standing in Cheetah's dimension. Batman has his no-kill rule, so he wouldn't approve of our methods, and we declared war on the Regime because we don't approve of theirs. Stuck in the middle with nowhere to go. But if it means seeing my own justice through, it's a small price to pay. So, I can understand where these guys are coming from. I really do."

"Look, you can't just go causing destruction just to have someone fight your battles for you." Izuku said.

"Sorry but we gotta do what the king asks." Brave said.

"Then take us to him." Jexi said.

"You're...you're joking right?" Brave asked.

"No joke. We want to hear it from him ourselves." David said.

"Fine." Brave said as a portal opened behind the duo. "Just follow us and we'll enter the stronghold."

"Got it. Thank you for granting us this audience." David said.

"Don't be getting the wrong idea. The kings mood is always fluctuating. He might decide to side with you, but he can just as easily decide to take you down instead." Brave said.

"We'll take our chances." Luffy said.

The group soon walked through the rift as it closed. However, none of them could be prepared for what was going to happen during this chance meeting.
