This Night

Chapter 185

Author's Note: My baby's (Or Jick's) are closer to be reunited! I've got a couple ways of doing that depending how some people (Claire and Gray) behave. Seriously I have no control over these OC'S, if I did, I wouldn't have so many of them! I sort of want to skip Grady, but I'll be good. This is just the never ending story. I'm big on character interaction (what that comes to a surprise?) so yeah, I'd never be hired for a 16 episode show, they'd fire me just for not being able to stop them from talking! You guys aren't complaining! Please Review.

Oh I haven't said it in a while, I don't own the Walking Dead, just my OC's and the people who I kept alive (if you kill them on the show and I kept them alive, then technically from that point they're mine) If I did, Rick would never be interested in random hair cut woman!

Glenn, Mitch and Tara's POV:

Mitch walked with Glenn and Tara as Abraham sighed. "It's a waist of time!" Abraham yelled as he caught up to them. "Glenn, when the people we love kick….well, they disappear. Doesn't mean you have to get out of the way too," he told Glenn.

Glenn dropped his bag and turned around and took a step toward him and punched him so hard that it knocked him to the ground. "She is alive, and I am going to find her. We are going to find our family," he said as he motioned to Mitch. He turned around to join Mitch and continue there walk.

"You Son of a Bitch!" Abe yelled from behind them as he tackled Glenn.

"Hey! Hey! Hey!" Tara yelled as she tried to pull him off Glenn.

"You bastard! Get off of him!" Mitch yelled as he kicked him.

Abraham pushed Tara to the ground and turned Glenn over.

"Abraham you don't want this!" Rosita yelled at him.

"Are you alright?" Mitch asked Tara.

"Yeah, I'm alright," Tara assured Mitch.

"Let me go!" Glenn yelled at him.

"Come on! Stop it!" Tara yelled as she and Rosita grabbed him by the arms again.

"Get off of him you big overgrown bully!" Mitch yelled at him as he jumped on his back and put his arms around his neck.

"Abraham! You don't want this!" Rosita yelled again.

"Get off me kid!" Abraham yelled at Mitch as he went toward Glenn again and punched him. They all popped there heads up at the sound of gunfire and looked to see Eugene firing at walkers.

Mitch immediately let go of Abraham's back and ran toward the truck and hopped up on the wheels to get weapons.

"Eugene stop firing damn it! We've got to get our weapons!" Abraham yelled at him.

"Glenn, Tara here!" Mitch said as he handed them weapons, and handed one to Rosita. He took one and expertly loaded it and jumped down and started firing with the rest of them.

The group looked around after they killed all the walkers' and Abraham grabbed Eugene weapon.

Mitch looked at Eugene. "I really hope that if you are a scientist, you're better at it then you are at shooting, cause dude that was bad."

Eugene looked down at him. "How did you learn to shoot like that? You're what five?"

Mitch looked at him and shook his head. "Nine thank you very much," he said as he went over to Glenn.

Abraham bent down and looked at the truck. "Son of a Dick," he said.

Mitch watched as he went under the truck. "You Ok?" he asked Glenn.

"Yeah, I'm OK. You OK? That was some impressive shooting," Glenn commented to him.

"Daryl's been taking me out," Mitch said. "I'm OK."

Abraham spoke from under the truck. "We were running a convoy in one of these. Coming up on a dune, there's a camel, looks like it's ready to puke. Probably because shit bird's packed about four pounds of C up it's ass. We were within feet of the blast that sent that animal's hump half a klick up into the desert, and we drove home," he said as he came out from under the truck. "So you tell me in the holy hell did you possibly kill this truck?" he asked Eugene.

Eugene looked at him. "A fully amped-up state and an ignorance of rapid firing weapons," he answered.

"And yet, he's supposed to know how to save the whole world," Mitch mumbled to himself.

Rosita bent down and picked up a picture and looked at Glenn. "Is this yours?" she asked Glenn.

Glenn took it without a word and walked over to Abraham.

"That's Maggie, that's who he's trying to get back to. A real human being that he knows got out, part of our family," Mitch said to Rosita as he followed Glenn.

Glenn handed Abraham his gun. "Sorry about your ride. Hope you guys make it to Washington."

Mitch did the same. "You know I hope we see each other again, after you save the world, because I really want to say told you so because we found them," he told Abraham as he followed Glenn.

Tara looked after the two of them. "Wait for me," she said as she handed Abraham her weapon.

Rosita looked after them and shrugged. "What the hell else are we gonna do?" she asked as she started to follow them.

"Go to Washington, fix the whole damn world!" Abraham yelled after her.

"That's way clear, who knows what's North? We'll find another vehicle, we'll go with them until we do. Trust me, I'm smarter then you," Eugene told Abraham.

Mitch glanced back at them as he walked with Glenn and Tara. "They're coming with us."

"For now," Glenn answered.

Mitch nodded. "Now's the only thing that's important," he told the older man. "We'll find her. I know that finding the rest of them is just a bonus for you Glenn. I get it, I understand it. Rick is probably focused on finding Jewel, just as much as you are with Maggie. And, Mar is focused on finding Daryl," he told Glenn.

Glenn looked at him. "You've grown up. A lot."

Mitch shrugged. "Had to, to survive. I just want to find our family, Glenn. I don't want Jewel to feel alone, having that baby without anyone. All I can think of is Lori and what happened with her. But at least she had Summer and Carl with her. Being alone, knowing you're the weak link, that's the worst feeling in the world."

"Hey, you're not a weak link, and you are not alone," Glenn told him. "I would have fought anyone that even thought about leaving you behind after the farm."

"I didn't think anyone ever thought about leaving me behind," Mitch answered. "It's just that I see how Abraham looks at me, like I'm going to be walker bait at any minute, and realized how lucky I got having the people around I do," Mitch answered.

"We all did," Glenn said as they continued walking.

That night:

Rosita sat down next to Mitch as he ate. "You were really good with that gun today, cool under pressure."

Mitch shrugged. "You do what you have to do to survive."

"You're parents out there with Maggie?" Rosita asked.

Mitch shook his head. "Not my real ones, anyway. Did Abraham send you over here to try to convince me to convince Glenn to go with you guys to Washington?"

Rosita shook her head. "No, I think Abraham knows that's a lost cause. You're as determined as he is to find them. I don't think Abraham thought that much spunk could be in a kid. Not sure how many kids he's been around," she told him.

"He reminds me of Jes, a woman in our group. She's Spanish, like you, but she was in the Army. When she first came into our group, she wasn't a people person at first, kind of like him," Mitch said as he nodded backward to where Abraham was with Tara.

"He's not bad once you get to know him," Rosita told him. "So Jes? She's a people person now?"

Mitch shrugged. "Not totally. You can tell that she's trying. But she saved one of us, Jewel. She risked her life to bring Jewel back home, before she was pregnant. That made her one of us," he told her.

"Mitch, you need to get some rest," Glenn called over to him. "Come put your sleeping bag by mine."

"Night," Mitch told Rosita as he stood up.

Author's Note: I love writing for Mitch. He's the youngest of the group (well except for Judy and now Hope) so he's had to get a thick skin, but still a kid. And I love him and Abraham! It's just so fun to write them!
