Author's Note: This is an AU fic. In this Bones never tell Booth about her feelings in the episode 'The Doctor in the Photo', so neither Booth nor Hannah knows that she regrets not giving Booth a chance. In this fic, only Angela and Daisy know, and also Hodgins because Angie told him. I don't know yet if this will have a happy ending or not. I would like to hear from you guyz, what you want. I also want to add the concept of this fic have been inspired by many awesome 'what if' fanfics i read after finishing watching Bones for the very first time. I just wanted to give them my version of twist and turns.

"Yes, I will show you!" He took his phone out, scrolled to a picture and showed her. A blonde, beautiful woman, "Her name is Hannah, Hannah Burley. She is a reporter. I arrested her!"
"You arrested me once!" Brennan said, choking the tears. He has moved on already! And here she was, really excited to see him, see Booth. She was ready to tell him that she was ready to give them a chance. That the vacation to Malaku Island was perfectly what she needed to set her feelings straight. To understand the crushing feeling she had all along after telling him no that night. When she was in the Island, she with a little help from Ms. Wick, Daisy, came to the conclusion that she is in love with Booth. True love and all that, and as irrational as it is, she is sure that what she feels. Daisy says that is how she feels about Dr. Sweets. And here she comes to know that it took Booth only seven months to move on. But that's okay, if Booth is happy, she will be happy for him. But for herself, she will be sad, when she will have the time.
"I..I find that I am excited to meet the rest of the team!" she says, desperately trying to sound normal.
"Yeah, Me too!" he said enthusiastically.
They went to the FBI, there they met everybody else. They all hugged and greeted each other. Nobody understood the storm going inside her, except Angela, her best friend. She frowned when they hugged and her eyes asked her a thousand questions. "Hey sweetie, is everything all right?" She whispered. "Yeah, will talk later Angela." she answered. She turned around to see Booth talking with Hodgins and Sweets, and laughing. Good, she thought, at least he is happy and she can be happy for him.
The group is very excited as they got Jeffersonian back and their labs. Temperance got into her, her home away from home and sighed happily. The case for the one they came back, they have been successful. They have saved Cam's career, got Jeffersonian back. She has talked with Angela about her feelings for Booth. Her best friend ranted that Booth couldn't have waited some more months and wanted to confront him. She has stopped that and told Angela that they should be happy for him. They have met Hannah, and Brennan genuinely likes her. She is beautiful, friendly and above all, she makes Booth happy. Angela says something about rebound, but she has no idea what her best friend is talking about.
She went into the Founding Fathers with the team. They have all got a mail from Booth asking them to come to the Founding Fathers after work. She saw Hannah and Booth standing really close and sharing kisses, with champagne glasses in hand. It still hurt her to see them together, to see Booth with someone else.
"Oh No!" she heard Angela and Cam whisper beside her and grab onto her. Well Angela did, Cam just stood really close as though supporting her.
"What?" she asked them.

"We are engaged!" Hannah squealed.
In a second, her world stopped. In a second Temperance forgot how to breathe! She was facing Angie when she heard Hannah, and saw Angie's face going white. She turned around with a brilliant smile and face Hannah and Booth. Hannah was smiling joyously, but Booth, he looked like he wanted to cry. Why? He should be happy. He is getting what he wanted, someone to love him for 30, 40, 50 years.
"Congratulations you guys!" she said to them, still smiling her fake smile, willing her heart to beat again, not letting her tears fall.
