The sun was setting behind them as the class walked to the dorms while Kaminari and Mineta stayed behind the group, talking to each other in whispers.

"Hey, did you hear?" Kaminari whispered on the way.

"Heard what?" Mineta inquired.

"About the rumors around the campus," he shivered.

"Rumors?"

"Yeah, there were rumors about music appearing in the night and when you try to follow it, you get lost and never return. Some of the other classes were talking about it."

"Those? Bah, I don't believe in them."

Just as Mineta finished saying that, music began to play around them. The melody was serene and calm, like a lullaby being played. The two boys stood ramrod straight. As they looked around, they noticed they were the only ones left on the path. The others were already gone. And just when things couldn't get worse, they heard a soft melodic voice singing to the music.

Go to sleep

Rest upon your bed

May this night bring dreams to your head

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they screamed as they ran all the way back to the dorms.

"Hm? Was there someone here?" asked someone as he looked behind the tree he was resting on. Seeing no one, he shrugged and played another tune on his instrument.

XXXX

In the Heights Alliance Dorms of 1-A, most of the students were minding their businesses. Some of the students were preparing dinner while the rest were in the common room watching TV and talking. It was peaceful until…

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

If the doors were almost blown off their hinges as the two perverts ran in and slammed the door behind them. Mineta immediately plucked off his hairballs and proceeded to cover the door with them while Kaminari slumped against the door, breathing heavily. Soon after Mineta finished sealing the door, he took a seat beside Kaminari and wheezed out of breath. Most of the students began to approach them while those in the kitchen listened attentively while preparing dinner.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Iida demanded as his arms moved robotically.

"Yeah, what gives Jamming Yay?" Jirou asked, irked by the sudden commotion.

Kaminari began to stand up and pace around, panic shown on his face. He soon faced Jirou and held her shoulders, earning a glare from her. He began shaking her back and forth, screaming while doing so.

"Did you hear the music?!" Kaminari asked/screamed as he shook Jirou harder. This earned a jack to his body. Wincing in pain, he let go of Jirou as she removed the jack from him.

"What music, knucklehead?!" Jirou was already irritated and this was just making it worse. Before Kaminari was able to answer, Mineta screamed first.

"IT'S THE GHOST! THE GHOST OF UA!" Mineta screamed. Froppy slapped him with his tongue because he was getting too noisy.

"Mineta, explain," Momo sternly ordered. He began sweating before telling his tale.

"So there is this rumor going on about this place being someone's grave before the school existed. After the building stood and people began coming in, the dead person became a ghost and began haunting the school. When you walk around the UA forests during evenings or nights, you'll hear music and someone singing. Once you follow the sounds… you never return," Mineta said gravely. Most of the class was unnerved by what he said. He might be too perverted, but this is another matter entirely.

"So what's the connection about this rumor and you crashing inside the dorms?" Kirishima scratched his head.

"Kirishima… we heard music and someone began singing. It was so creepy," Kaminari shivered. Mineta only nodded frantically in fear.

"I… I see," Kirishima nervously nodded, somewhat unnerved by the discovery.

"What the hell is wrong with you extras?! Being afraid of a simple ghost. I'll blast that stupid extra to bits!" Bakugou exclaimed as he began going up the stairs to his room. While he was going up, Kirishima noticed something different in Bakugou's posture. Tilting his head, he decided to ask him what's wrong later. Most of the class are now nervous or scared, but not as scared as the purple-haired rocker who was visibly shaking in her boots.

"Kyoka, are you okay?" Momo asked, knowing about the purplette's strong fear of ghosts. She moved her head to face Momo robotically. She swore there were creaks while she twisted her neck.

"Y-y-yeah, I-I'm okay M-M-Mo-Momo," Kyoka was pale while tears were streaming down her face. Before Momo could pacify her friend, someone began banging the door. This caused Jirou to scream and run to her room. The others were scared of the sudden intruder as everyone readied their quirks for the guest they'll most likely fight. It was silent after, they waited for a minute before making a decision to open the door. But before they could do that…

"What the hell are you children doing?!" rang a familiar voice. Most of the students froze and slowly looked back to see Aizawa crossing his arms and signature glare present while Izuku was behind him giving everyone a confused look.

"Now will anyone explain what all of this is for?" Aizawa's patience was running thin.

"S-Sir, we have reason to believe that there is a ghost haunting the school," Iida reported. Aizawa's response was simply a facepalm.

"Not this again," he groaned. He went to the kitchen and opened the drawer under the sink, taking what looks like a bottle of alcohol and glass from under it. He then motioned the students to go to the dining table as he sat at the end, opening the bottle and pouring in the contents, he glanced at the students as they looked at each other and slowly sat around the dining room.

"Now listen up problem children. There is no ghost inhabiting this school. I checked," everyone sighed at this. Aizawa took a swig of his drink before continuing, "It's the place next to this school that's haunted." Once again, everyone froze at that as Aizawa refilled his glass.

"W-What do you mean?" Ochaco asked.

"Apparently, someone was killed by a fire years before the school was established. Been haunting the campus until Nedzu became the principal. He talked to said ghost and now she's just staying around the place where she died. I don't know how nor do I want to know. I wouldn't have believed it if I didn't meet her," he sighed. He picked up his glass and bottle and began heading out the back entrance of the dorms, something the students never noticed. Aizawa looked at their confused faces and remarked, "What are you children gawking about. Do you think we're stupid not to add another entrance in case the first one was blocked or destroyed? Clearly you kids need more training." And with that, he smiled his signature creepy smile and finally walked out. Nobody said a word until Mina broke the silence.

"That was the weirdest thing I've ever seen sensei do," she said.

"You said it, Mina," Toru remarked.

"Well, I better go and tell Kyoka not to be afraid anymore. Please save some food for us," Momo said as she began ascending to Jirou's room.

"Hey, guys. I better call Bakubro as well. You eat ahead," Kirishima said as he followed Momo.

"By the way, where is Deku-kun?" Ochaco asked. Everyone now noticed the absence of their cinnamon roll classmate.

"Now that you mentioned it, he was with Aizawa-sensei when he appeared," Iida said.

"Midoriya went to change upstairs. He'll be down for dinner," Ojiro said.

"Now that's out of the way, dinner's ready," Sato said. Everyone began setting up the table as the other five students went down. Izuku with a brand new set of clothes, Jirou hiding behind Momo, and Kirishima joking around Bakugou while his palm was sparking. Dinner was normal after, most of them forgot about the topic earlier except for a few students with concern in their minds.

Later that night:

Jirou was playing her guitar to remove the thoughts of the ghost topic. As she was playing, she began to hear another instrument. Curiosity getting better of her, she began to listen to the sound.

'A flute?' she wondered. As she listened, she knew that the sound came from outside. Fear racked her body because of what she heard before, but she steeled her resolve and peeked out of the curtain. She couldn't see the musician, but she fell in love with the joyous tune of the song. She opened the door to the balcony and stepped out. As she looked down, balls of light began shining as they danced to the beat. A few moments later, she heard a female voice.

What's that song

Where's it from

The forest sings along

And it's scaring me

That melody

'That's a really nice voice,' she thought as she continued to listen.

Left or right

Have no sight

Don't want to stay the night

Where I have to go

I do not know

Kyoka closed her eyes and continued to listen in on the music, not noticing someone being illuminated by the balls of light below. It was a boy that looked to be in his teenage years. There was a cap covering his hair so he won't be discovered as his head bowed low to play his instrument. As he played, another person appeared, this time, it seemed to be a floating woman. Her hair as black as the night and the dress she wore was as white as snow. She floated around the musician, singing and spinning around to the song, joy could be seen on her face as she moved to the tune. As the song ended, the musician and singer faced each other and bowed. Kyoka opened her eyes to see the two bowing to each other. Using her quirk to hear their exchange of words, she eavesdropped on the conversation.

"Thank you for the music," the female said.

"Y-you're welcome." To Jirou, the musician's voice was familiar but she couldn't remember whose. "Do you want to do this again tomorrow?" he asked.

The girl giggled and answered him, "Of course! See you tomorrow, fairy boy." And with that, she disappeared in a poof of light. After she disappeared, the balls of light vanished, giving Kyoka little to no visibility of the mysterious musician. He put his instrument in his pocket and bowed to the direction where the singer was previously standing on. Once he got up, he walked back to the trees, out of Kyoka's sight. Taking a few moments to recollect herself, she went back inside her room and plopped on the bed, sighing as she did so.

'Who were those people? Will I see them again tomorrow?' she thought. Finally succumbing to her exhaustion, she adjusted herself to snuggle under the covers and sleep.

Omake:

Kirishima, ever curious of Bakugou's earlier reaction, he stood over the angry pomeranian's door. While he was about to knock, he stopped as he heard whimpering inside the room. Alarmed by the sound, he banged the door.

"Bakubro? Bakubro, open up!" Kirishima yelled. He was soon met with a sparking palm right at his face, ready to detonate.

"What is it you want, Shitty Hair?!" Bakugou screamed.

"I heard sounds in your room, Bakubro. What's wrong?" he asked. Hesitant at first, Bakugou, looked at the hallways and discovered no one except for Kirishima. He then took Kirishima into his room and locked the doors. Kirishima, confused, just stood there as Bakugou locked the doors and panted against the frame. This got the Hardening user nervous as he never saw this side of the explosion boy. Bakugou then came back to his senses a minute later then proceeded to go to the corner of his room and whimper.

"Not them again. Why are they here?" was all Kirishima heard.

"Bakubro, you gotta tell me what's wrong."

"It's them, Shitty Hair. They're here," Bakugou continued to whimper.

"Who's here?" he asked. Bakugou just looked at Kirishima with blank, terrified eyes, and answered.

"The Forest Children," he said. "The Forest Children are here."
