Chapter 195

Author's Note: You guys aren't excited to get Jewel and Rick back together or anything are you? Yeah so am I! This is the chapter you've all been wanting (and If I didn't deliver it, I'd probably have daggers sent through the computer at me, and I really don't want that!) Just so you know, this was NOT how I planned this, AT all but hey, I do what Jewel tells me. I'm just gonna jump to where they arrive at Terminus, I don't think any of you will argue with that will you? Review please.

Rick's group POV:

Mar watched as Rick dug a whole to hide the weapons in. "I'm not sure about this. I feel like we're being watched," she said as she looked around.

"If they're smart, they are watching. That's what the Governor did, he made sure no one snuck in," Lexi told them.

"Hey, if you don't want to do this, if you don't want to go in there, we don't have to, but we stay together," Rick told them.

Mar shook her head. "Jewel might be in there, Mitch, Summer, Ty, Sasha, Merle, the rest of our family."

Daryl nodded. "If we are gonna do this, let's do it now."

"Stay close, we don't know who these people are," Rick said as they started making there way to the back way. He let Daryl take the lead, letting the group lead. Mar got behind Lexi and Carl. They heard a females voice first.

"Terminus…those who arrive, survive. Follow the tracks to where all the lines intersect. These are the maps at the crossings to help guide you with your journey. Terminus. Sanctuary for all, community for all," the voice said as the group went into the building.

Rick marched up to the woman. "Hello."

The woman took off her headphones and looked at the man then at her group.

"Hello, I bet Albert is on perimeter watch. You here to rob us?" the man asked.

"No, I wanted to see you before you saw us," Rick said.

"Makes sense. Usually we do this where the tracks meet. Ahem. Welcome to Terminus. I'm Gareth, looks like you've been on the road for a good bit," he said.

"We have," Rick said. "Rick, that's Carl, Mar, Lexi, Michonne, Axel and Daryl," he introduced.

"You're nervous, I get it. We were all the same way. We came here for sanctuary, that's what you're here for?" Gareth asked.

Rick nodded. He wanted to ask about Jewel but he was biding his time, waiting to see what these people are like. "Yes," he said.

"Good you found it. This isn't as pretty as up front, we got nothing to hide, but the welcome wagon is a whole lot nicer. Alex and Claire will take you. Uh but first we need to see everyone's weapon's," Gareth said as Alex and Claire walked up to them.

Claire eyed Rick tapping her finger on her hip. He was the one, he was going to take her baby away and she knew it. He needed to go. "Welcome to Terminus," Claire said.

Rick looked at her then the group. "Alright," he said as he put down his weapons and nodded at the group to do the same.

"I'm sure you understand," Gareth told them.

"We do," Rick said as he glanced at Mar and noticed that both her and Lexi didn't make a move to take there knives from inside there boots. "Good girls," he thought to himself. Jewel had taught them well.

"You really know how to use that sword?" Claire asked Michonne.

"I do," Michonne simply answered.

"It's a nice one," Claire said as she moved to Lexi.

"I'd hate to see the other guy," Alex told Daryl as he noticed the bruises.

"You would," Rick said.

Gareth stopped in front of Axel. "You don't have any other weapons? A gun? Just a crow bar and a knife?"

"He's our thinker," Rick answered. "He's not that comfortable with guns, but he's good at a lot of other things," he told him.

Martin moved to Carl. "So did the other guy deserve it?"

"Yes," Carl answered as he glanced at Lexi.

"Just so you know we aren't those kind of people, but we aren't stupid either. And you shouldn't be stupid enough to try anything stupid. As long as everyone's clear on that, we shouldn't have any problems. Just solutions," Gareth said.

Alex started handing everyone there weapons as Daryl picked up his. "Alright, if you follow us," he said as him and Claire led them out the door.

"So how long has this place been here?" Daryl asked.

"Since almost the start," Alex answered.

"It started out as a different place, just a stopping point for people when the camps got overrun," Claire said as she glanced at Rick again.

"I think it was instinct you know? Follow a path. Some people were heading to the coast, others out west, but they all ended up here," Alex told him.

Axel looked around. "How many people are here?"

Claire glanced back at him. "Number changes, people get killed when they go get supplies, some people decide it isn't for them. Right now we got about fifty maybe sixty," she answered as they came to Mary.

"Hi, I heard you came through the back door, smart. You'll fit right in," Mary said.

"Mary can you fix me a plate for these people?" Alex asked.

Mar stopped and turned her head to another direction.

"Mar?" Rick asked.

Mar glanced at him as he started noticing things. "Nothing, I must be hearing things," she said.

"Why do you do it? Let people in?" Michonne asked.

"The bigger the group, the stronger we are," Claire said as she moved behind the grill to help Mary.

"Here," Alex said as he handed plates to Carl and Lexi. "Got to take care of the kids first," he said as he turned around.

Mar noticed the pocket watch at the same time Rick did. He walked over to Alex and grabbed him by the neck as the rest of the group reacted and took out there guns. "Where the hell did you get this watch?"

"Rick, I heard a baby, a newborn. I know the sound of a newborn," Mar said as she pointed the gun at the group.

"Where did you get the watch? Is my wife here? MY baby? Where is our people?" Rick hissed in Alex's ear.

"We don't have a baby here," Alex said. "I got the watch off a dead one."

Jewel's POV:

Jewel took a breath as she placed her hand on the door. The plan might not be the best but Jes had seen the group come in and the original plan of her trying to warn Rick to play it cool hadn't worked because they came through the back. Of course they did, they were smart. Jewel knew that Claire would come for the baby when she realized who Rick was. The only hope was to get Jes out of there with Mika and the baby. Mika and Jes both hadn't wanted to leave her, but she needed Mika and the baby safe and they needed back up. Jes could move faster then she could and she could get them to Merle and the both of them could help take off the snipers off the roof. She knew Hope wouldn't like taking a bottle if she got fussy, but hopefully she would be reunited with her, and Judith, this afternoon. She knew Summer wasn't with the group, so she hoped that she was out there heading this way. She took a breath as she checked the lining of the coat where she had sewed knives into it from the stuff that Jes had found. Jes knew that there would be gunfire, and both her and Jewel wanted to get Hope out of there before it started. This was the best way, the only way to keep Mika and Hope out of danger, while helping her the rest of the family. She heard the gunfire start and took a breath as she opened the door. "Come on you crazy bat, be predictable. Come and get me," she thought to herself as she turned down the hallway, making it look like she was running. She gave a smirk as she heard footsteps come behind her. "Predictable, crazy, unstable bat," she thought to herself.

"Jewel! Stop! Or I'll shoot," Claire told her. "Turn around, put the baby down!"

Jewel turned around empty handed. "Sorry to disappoint you."

"Where is she? Where is my baby?" Claire asked.

"I woke up, Jes, Mika and MY baby was gone," Jewel simply stated. "Heard gun fire. You herding more to there deaths? Rick's here isn't he?" she asked.

"You owe us. We helped you, we took you in," Claire said as she put the gun to her head. "You would have died out there, that girl would have died out there, MY baby. WE saved you. You tell me where Samantha is. NOW! Or I'll blow your head off," she warned.

Jewel gave a small smile. "I'm sorry, I don't know anyone by the name of Samantha," she answered honestly.

"Damn it! Come on you want to be with your husband so bad, let's go," Claire said as she pushed her. "We'll find them, you know. I'm going to make you watch as I gut your precious Mika, right in front of you. Then I'm going to force you to eat a piece of her. Then I'm going to kill you. The last thing you're going to see is me holding MY little girl. You're going to regret ever trying to cross us."

Jewel smirked as she walked. "Hate to tell you, you picked the wrong damn family to pick on," she said. She saw Carl as the others were lining up and glanced up to see Gareth pointing a gun at him.

"Claire, what are you doing?" Gareth asked.

"Jes is gone, so is Mika and the baby. She won't tell me where they are," Claire said.

Jewel met eyes with Rick and held each other's stares.

"Jewel is this any way to repay our kindness? Fine, we'll find them. Alright, momma bear, go stand between the ringleader and the archer."

"I'll go after my son," Jewel said as she looked at Carl.

"You said you had another daughter not a son," Claire told her.

"And you didn't tell me you were cannibals', so I guess we weren't exactly honest with each other now were we?" Jewel hissed at her. "I go after my son goes," she told Gareth.

"You want me to shoot him right now?" Gareth asked.

Jewel pulled herself away from Claire and stood between Carl and Gareth's rifle. "I go last."

Gareth looked at her aiming his rifle at her.

"No!" Carl yelled as Jewel put her hand up to keep him back. "You won't shoot me Gareth, not until you find Jes, Mika and the baby."

"Fine, Ringleader open the door, followed by Archer, Mustache, Curley Tops, Samurai, Kid one, Kid Two, and Momma Bear," Gareth said.

"I go when the kids and my wife go," Rick said.

"Don't make me shoot her now. I'm not exactly happy that we brought her in, delivered a healthy baby, believed that Jes was one of us, and kept the four of them safe, only to be repaid this way," he told Rick.

"Rick it's alright, go in. I'll be right behind you," Jewel said.

Rick took a breath as he went into the car. He waited by the door until Jewel was on the steps and he reached out and pulled her in as the door slammed shut. He kissed her as he put his hands on her face. "Are you alright? The baby?"

"Rick?" a man's voice said as a group came out of the shadows.

"Lexi!" Sasha yelled as she ran and hugged her.

"Daryl…Mar…." Mitch said as he ran up to them.

Rick kept his hand on Jewel's face as he looked at the four newcomers with Glenn and the group. "You're here," he said to the others then looked at Jewel. "You're here."

"Jewel…the baby?" Maggie asked.

Jewel smiled. "She's healthy…Hope. I had Jes take her and Mika…had to get them safe. Merle's out there waiting for a signal from Jes. First time I think he's listened to anything anybody told him."

Rick kissed her again as he looked at the group again eyeing the newcomers.

"They're our friends, they helped save us," Maggie told them.

"Now there friends of ours," Daryl said as he squeezed Jewel's shoulder. "Got another niece huh?"

"Yeah, sorry Carl, you're outnumbered," Jewel said as she one armed hugged him.

"It's alright…" Carl said as he looked at her.

Abe sighed. "Yeah so we're all good friends, forever how long that is," he said as he turned around.

Rick shook his head then looked at Jewel. "No, no, they're going to feel pretty stupid when they find out."

"Find out what?" Abraham asked.

Jewel touched Rick's face as he went and looked out the train car.

Rick looked at the group. "They're fucking with the wrong people."
