First trimester
Week 1
The Doctor woke up feeling better than he had the past week, looking over he knew exactly why that was. He smiled softly as he took in his bond mates sleeping face, 50 years of marriage and she hasn't changed at all. Rose always slept with a secret smile. Landing on Mars where the first manned mission landed was, was very hard for both of them considering it was a fixed point. No one knew what had happened, the crew just disappeared one day. Now they know, he shuddered to think what he would've done if Rose hadn't been there to stop him from changing it.
The Doctor lifted his head when he felt a hand smoothing over his brow, to stare into Roses eyes. "You shouldn't frown, you'll get lines," Rose warned him.
The Doctor grinned at her as he grabbed her hand and weaved their fingers together. "What would I do without you," he declared as he kissed her hand.
Rose rolled on top of him so she was straddling him. "You would go on," Rose stated. "Cause you know, that's what I'd want you to do."
The Doctor reared up and snogged her as he rolled her underneath him. "Your right, I would go on for you," the Doctor stated as he moved his mouth towards her ear. Rose let out a moan as he sucked her earlobe into his mouth before releasing it and moving down to her clavicle where he renewed the mark he's made. By this point he's surprised there isn't a permanent mark.
He made love to her slowly, worshiping her the way she deserved to be worshiped. He sent them flying through the stars. As they came down from their orgasms something felt different, he could, very faintly taste extra hormones that Roses body was producing but assumed it was a female thing so put it out of his mind.
Rose watched as the Doctor walked to the ensuite to have a shower before frowning slightly. She felt strange, like something strange was going on with her body. While the Doctor was in the shower Rose decided to see if she could find any information about what being a Time Lady meant. She could ask the Doctor but she's found that he's a lot more like human males than he'd like to admit, he would know about males but females she's found are different no matter their race.
A grin came to her face as an idea sprang to her mind, she walked naked to the ensuite and walked right into her bond mates shower. She suddenly realised that they could save water, off course that doesn't mean that they will, the Doctor never complained.
A few hours later and they finally managed to dry off and dress, while the Doctor went to get them breakfast Rose finally made it to the library where the TARDIS had very helpfully made a pile of books ready for her. Frowning at the books that the TARDIS had left out for her she looked to the ceiling. "What are you up to?"
The TARDIS sent her an innocent hum before sending her consciousness somewhere else. Rose just shrugged as she looked through books on Gallifreyan women and their menstrual cycle. Rose had read the books before, when she first changed, not that the Doctor pointed them out to her since he's a man. But she figured that the TARDIS had placed them in front of her for a reason.
The Doctor walked in half an hour later with breakfast on a tray. He set the tray on the coffee table in front of Rose before sitting next to her. He could feel his face heating up as he saw the books that Rose was reading.
Rose sent him her tongue in teeth grin as she saw his face redden. "Something the matter Theta?" Rose questioned.
The Doctor shook his head. "No," he cleared his throat as it squeaked before trying again. "Nothing wrong but I thought you had already read those books?"
"I did," Rose agreed. "But the TARDIS had them sitting here waiting for me so I assumed there might be something in here that she wants me to find. Of course she couldn't just come out and tell me, could she," Rose directed the last part to the TARDIS who hummed back at her innocently.
The Doctor let out a quick laugh before shutting his mouth at Roses glare. "Yes, the TARDIS likes for us to figure things out on our own. But how about, to get your mind off things, we'll go on an adventure?"
Rose sent the Doctor a worried look. "Are you sure, I don't want you rushing out there when your still affected by what happened on Bowie base One."
The Doctor sent her a gentle smile in return. "What happened on that base was meant to happen, it's not the first time I've had to walk away without being able to help people and it won't be the last," the Doctor pointed out. "Besides," he continued as he kissed the top of Roses hair. "I had you here this time to remind me, and stop me. I'd hate to know how I would've handled that if you hadn't been," the Doctor shuddered as he felt an aborted timeline jump forward suddenly that shows him trying to change a fixed point and causing a suicide before it slipped back into the background again.
Rose placed her hand on his cheek as she turned him to face her. "Then let's go on an adventure or in your case, find trouble," she finishes as she stands up and pulls the Doctor up with her.
"Oi," the Doctor protested as he allowed Rose to help him up. "Need I remind you that I'm not the one who's jeopardy friendly," Rose still felt something was happening to her but the feeling was so small that it was easily forgotten in the excitement of a new adventure.
Rose turned to look at him as she slowly moved backwards. "Need I remind you that you manage to find enough trouble without my help."
The Doctor laughed as he grabbed her hand on the way past and ran to the console room. "Let's agree to disagree," the Doctor suggested as he sent them on more adventures. The TARDIS off course had a different idea entirely.
Week 2
Rose and the Doctor entered the TARDIS, loaded down with bags of shopping. The Doctor dropped the bags by the jump seat and sent the TARDIS back into the vortex before turning around to examine the items that Rose brought. Yes, she had at least 5 bags full with shopping.
Rose turned back to the Doctor. "As much as I like going to hotels for dinner or Spas for a nice relaxing day or shopping," she indicated the bags by her feet. "I thought we were going out to find trouble, all she's taken us to are nice safe places."
The Doctor frowned as he thought about it. "Perhaps she's saying that we're not ready to get out there."
"Maybe, but there's something going on with her," Rose questioned. "Because every time I try to find a book to read, she's giving me books about Gallifreyan anatomy specifically the females. And the frustrating thing about it is that she won't tell me what she wants," Rose finished on a huff.
The Doctor frowned again as he reached out to their ship who was obviously hiding something. He hit a barrier that he knew meant that the TARDIS was hiding something. "Maybe I'll give her a check to see if I could find out what she's up to," he suggested.
Rose grinned and kissed his cheek. "Just don't take too long," she suggested as she held up a bag from a lingerie shop, a shop that the Doctor hadn't dared to go in with her. "I have a surprise for you."
The Doctor felt his mouth go dry as he stared open mouthed at Rose as she backed down the hallway. Once she was out of sight he shook his head to get his thoughts back in order before settling himself under the TARDIS console to see if he could get his stubborn ship to tell them what she wants.
The TARDIS rolled her eyes at her thief and her wolf. She didn't know how organics could go through life as dense as they were, off course she could come out and tell them what was happening but where was the fun in that. Though she might have to be more obvious since they don't seem to be getting her message.

A few hours later, the Doctor pulled himself out from under the console and realised that he hadn't heard from Rose since she left the room. He wandered down the hallway in search of her while wondering what was up with their brilliant time ship. He wandered into their room and stopped in the doorway as he saw Rose with her back to him and bending over. That would've been enough to turn him on but what she was wearing had him hard in seconds.
He took a deep breathe in as he looked her up and down. She was wearing a dark red coloured corset that laced up the back which had clips going down either leg and holding up thigh high sheer black stockings. She was also wearing lace panties to match the colour of the corset and as she turned around he noticed that where her breasts are, the corset was made of sheer lace so her breasts were visible.
The Doctor let out a moan of pure need before charging at her. He noticed her eyes widen slightly in surprise but he didn't give her a chance to respond as he took her mouth in a very hungry demand.
A few more hours later and they were both breathing heavily with grins on their faces. Rose gathered what strength she had and rolled on to her side so she could stare at the Doctor. "I knew you'd like them," she stated with a grin.
The Doctor huffed as he rolled his head to the side and looked at her with a silly grin on his face. "You could be wearing a paper sack and I'd still think your the most beautiful being in the universe," they both laughed as the TARDIS sent them an indignant hum. "Along with the old girl off course," the Doctor moderated.
Rose laughed. "Off course, the old girl is gorgeous," she agreed.
A ringing was heard suddenly, coming from the console room. Rose and the Doctor looked at each other before scrambling to get up and dressed then racing to the console to answer the phone.
The Doctor got there first and answered as he tried to get his breathe back. "Hello."
"Dad," he heard Jenny greet.
The Doctor let a grin show as Rose arrived by his side. "Hey Jenny."
Rose grinned as well, it had been awhile since they had heard from her. "Hey sweetheart," she called out knowing that their daughter would hear her.
"Hey mum," Jenny greeted back before getting down to business. "There's something happening on Omia Prime, with Kryvakass implants would you be able to help?"
"Absolutely," the Doctor agreed after a quick look to Rose who nodded. "Time and place and we'll be there," he stated as he hung up, after a text from Jenny they inputted the coordinates into the console and the TARDIS flew of to help.
As they landed they saw Jenny waiting outside for them so the Doctor grabbed his long coat and put it on as he moved to the door. Rose though turned back to the time rotor as she heard the TARDIS hum change to worry. She was about to reassure the TARDIS when the doors slammed shut on there own.
The Doctor whirled around as the doors slammed shut and tried to open them but they were locked. He could hear Rose on the other side but it seemed that the TARDIS had deadlocked the doors so not even the sonic could open them.
Jenny meanwhile was looking on in worry. "What happened, is mum alright?"
"Yeah, your mums fine," the Doctor reassured Jenny. "But it seems the TARDIS has decided that this is one adventure that your mothers gonna have to sit out."
Jenny glanced worriedly towards the TARDIS. "Mum is not gonna be happy about that," she finished off before leading her father on an adventure.
That was an understatement, a few hours later and Rose had given up on even talking to the TARDIS, now she was in the library. At least this time she had other books to read, which was probably the TARDISs way of apologising but Rose wasn't in the mood to listen yet.
The Doctor and Jenny finally made it back to the TARDIS with soldiers following them. They ran through the doors and up to the console, Jenny helped him send the TARDIS into the vortex before looking around. "I wonder where Mum is?" She questioned her father.
The Doctor searched his bond with Rose and found her. He grimaced as he turned to Jenny. "She's in the library," he called Jenny back as she started down the hallway. "She's very annoyed at the moment, so just be careful."
Jenny rolled her eyes. "She's my mum, who she's really angry at is the TARDIS and really I don't blame her," Jenny tripped over a piece of coral. "Oi," she complained to the TARDIS as she continued down the hallway.
The Doctor smiled at Jenny's retreating back before turning back to the monitor. "Okay," The Doctor questioned the TARDIS. "What has gotten in to you?"
The TARDIS sent the Doctor feelings of happiness, joy and excitement.
The Doctor frowned. "How am I suppose to read those, you've never seemed this excited since Rose first stepped into you."
The TARDIS just kept sending him the same feelings over and over again. The Doctor gave up and decided to go find Rose and Jenny. He walked into the library and heard Rose laughing, the most joyful sound he's ever heard. She must have been regaling Rose with their exploits on the planet. He settled on the couch next to Rose and placed his arm around her shoulders.
Rose turned her toungue touched smile on him. "Did you find out what the TARDIS is upto?"
The Doctor sighed. "I don't know what her problem is but she's only showing happy feelings which tells us nothing at all."
"Well I suppose if she's only showing good feelings than it can't be anything bad," Rose reasoned out. "Still, I wish she'd just tell us what's wrong," Rose sighed before brightening up. "Oh, well. On to our next adventure," Rose grinned as she stood and helped the Doctor up. They went running down the corridor with Jenny right behind them. Onto their next adventure.
Week 3
Jenny stayed with them for most of that week but she got bored as the TARDIS was only sending them to nice, easy places, no adventure at all. They kept trying to find out what was happening with the TARDIS but again she kept sending them happy feelings but told them nothing else.
Rose and the Doctor gave up, they figured that she'll get bored eventually and finally tell them so they continued to travel, in between visiting their friends. They landed on one planet that was a giant nursery, where the aliens looked after their young. The only exciting thing that happened on that adventure was trying to find one of the children that were lost. They ended up finding him in the forest playing with some of the creatures he was told not to touch. Hardly an adventure at all.
Rose entered the Doctors workshop and put her arms around him, kissing his cheek. "Why don't we head to Sarah Jane's a week before Martha's wedding."
The Doctor frowned at her. "Why not land in Mickey and Martha's house?"
Rose giggled. "Cause," Rose started as the Doctor pulled her around to sit on his lap. "Martha's spending the last week at Sarah Jane's, and her bachelorette party is two nights before. And if I remember correctly," She continued. "You were invited to Mickey's bachelor party."
The Doctor pouted. "But I thought we might show up an hour before, just enough time for the wedding," the Doctor explained. "You know I'm terrible at domestics."
Rose raised her brow at him. "I don't know," she stated. "You seem to be handling it fine, so far."
"Yeah, but Rooose," he whined. "That's you, I'm not sure I could handle it for others, even if they are our friends."
"Tough," Rose started unsympathetically. "I promised Martha, I would be there to help her in the last week. Plus, you are one of Mickey's best men."
Rose got of his lap and pulled him up to led him to the console room. She set the TARDIS to land in Sarah Jane's living room while the Doctor continued to poute.
? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ
Rose was getting ready in one of Sarah Jane's spare bedrooms, she didn't trust the TARDIS to not lock her in again. She had just finished putting the final touch's to her makeup when a knock came at the door. "Are you ready, Rose," she heard Sarah Jane call out.
Rose opened the door and grinned at Sarah Jane. "Yep," she agreed. She followed Sarah Jane downstairs to find everyone gathered in the living room.
The boys had decided to have their bachelor party the same night as the girls. Mickey, Jack, Leo and the Doctor were going to one end of town while Rose, Martha, Sarah Jane, Tish and Jenny were going to another. Off course this didn't stop the Doctor from whining cause he wanted to follow the girls and glare at anyone that dared to look at his bond mate.
Rose rolled her eyes at him as she kissed him quickly before following the other girls out the house. They had hired a limo for the night and Jenny seemed very excited about the whole idea around a bachelorette party so off course the Doctor couldn't deny his bond mate and daughter some fun.
Everything about the night seemed to be going perfectly fine until they reached the first bar on their tour. Rose ordered a whisky and coke as Jenny ordered the same, not having tried earth alcohol before. The bar tender placed their drinks in front of them and moved off. Rose watched as Jenny tried the drink and grinned with her as she realised how much she liked it.
Rose turned to her own drink and picked it up to take a sip when the TARDIS sent a noise through her head like the sound of nails on a chalkboard. Rose grimaced as she put her drink down and covered her ears even knowing that it wouldn't help.
The noise finally stopped and she breathed a sigh of relief as she grinned at Jenny to let her know that she was alright. She picked up her drink again only to have the same noise hit her again. She put her drink down and again covered her ears until the noise stopped. She felt the Doctors enquiry and sent him reassurances as she stared at her drink supisciously.
"Mum, are you alright," Jenny quiered, having noticed the problems she had been having.
Rose grinned at her. "Yeah, It seems the TARDIS doesn't want me drinking tonight," Rose assured her daughter. "Perhaps, since it's your first time trying alcohol that she wants me to make sure nothing happens to you."
Jenny just rolled her eyes. "You and dad, both told me that it takes a lot more alcohol than humans for me to get drunk."
Rose just shrugged her shoulders as she ordered a plain coke from the bar tender. She braced herself as she picked up the new drink and breathed a sigh of relief when no noise rang through her head.
Rose spent the rest of the night watching after everyone else and when they finally arrived home in the early morning hours she was the only one sober. Jenny had decided to try a ginger beer, not realising that ginger inhibits her ability to process alcohol and Jack had slipped the Doctor ginger in his drink because he had never seen how this Doctor would react to the stimuli. Needless to say everyone was laughing as he insulted everyone within ear shot. They finally dragged him back to Sarah Jane's before he was assulted. Off course as soon as he spotted Rose he went from insulting everyone to becoming very frisky.
Rose finally managed to get Jenny settled in bed and she was out before her head even hit the pillow then Rose turned and wrestled the Doctor back into the TARDIS and to their room. Off course as soon as she got him on the bed he fell asleep and Rose had to roll her eyes as she made herself more comfortable before falling asleep next to him.
Thanks to Roses superior biology she was up before anyone else and started making a hangover receipe that the TARDIS had given to her. As everyone else ambled in she handed the cure to them before starting on breakfast. She was starting to see how funny it is to watch drunk people, at least she made sure they had no regrets the next morning except Jack who had wondered off with a male and female.
Week 4
A few days later and a day before Martha and Mickey's wedding Rose had just woken up when she was rushing to the bathroom to throw up. Afterwards she rinsed her mouth out with toothpaste while the TARDIS gave her a plate of plain biscuits which seemed to settle her stomach, luckily the Doctor wasn't in the room to witness her little episode.
She was starting to get an idea of what the TARDIS was keeping from them and she wasn't sure how she felt about it. First it was not being able to drink alcohol, then she's been feeling more tired than usually, now she's throwing up. She's still feeling a little off and even the Doctor has remarked that she's got more hormones running through her system.
The Doctor was out helping to set up the reception hall and make sure everything was set for the wedding when he felt Roses worry about something. He sent a question to her over their bond and felt reassurance sent back which relaxed him a bit but he could still feel her worrying about something.
Rose was waiting just outside the door to Sarah Jane's spare bedroom as she paced back and forth. She didn't want to worry Martha when she was having her final fitting for her wedding dress but she needed to know if her suspicions were correct.
Martha had noticed that Rose had been pacing in front of the door so she rolled her eyes and told Tish to bring her in. So Tish opened the door and grabbed Rose's arm, pulling her into the room.
Rose hadn't even noticed the door opening until someone grabbed her arm and she was suddenly standing in the room and facing a very angry Martha. "Well, what had you pacing in front of the door for."
Rose felt bad for causing Martha to be upset and started retreating as she looked between Martha, Tish and Mrs Jones. "I'm sorry, it's alright, I didn't want to ruin your day."
Martha's look softened when she saw how upset Rose seemed to be. She grabbed Rose's hand before she could turn and leave. "It's obviously very important if it's worrying you so much."
Rose's shoulders slumped in defeat. "Could you . . . Could you come to the medbay on the TARDIS with me, there's something I'd like to check but I'm not sure how to work all the equipment."
Martha smiled at her. "Off course," Martha agreed as they walked back to the TARDIS. Rose led the way to the medbay and hoped on one of the very comfy leather chairs which look like dentist chairs but can be laid completely flat when needed.
Without saying anything Rose handed Martha a wand type device and directed her to wave it over her abdomin. Martha did as instructed until a beeping noise was heard then she turned to the monitor to see what it said. Her grin just got wider as she read the results before turning to find Rose worrying her hands.
Martha grabbed her hands as she tried to reassure Rose. "According to the results, your four weeks pregnant," Martha's smile dropped from her face as Rose hung her head but not before Martha saw a tear trail down her face. Martha hooked her finger under Rose's chin and raised her head. "What's wrong, I'd have thought that you'd be happy, then it wouldn't be just the two of you."
Rose sighed. "But what if the Doctor thinks it too domestic."
Martha rolled her eyes at Rose. "Isn't the whole idea of marriage domestic."
"Yeah but. . ." Rose broke off as she thought about what to say. "We could still travel and get into trouble but with a baby, we won't be able to do that as often, the TARDIS proved that when she's only taken us to safe places the past month.
Martha hugged the obviously distressed women as she shook her head at the pair of them. "The pair of you are nutters," she stated. "The Doctor adores you, and I bet he'd be thrilled that your pregnant."
Rose looked at her hopefully. "You really think so?"
"Absolutely," she assured her. "Now dry your eyes because I have a feeling you'll have a very distraught husband that the TARDIS has been keeping out."
Martha went to move off but Rose grabbed her arm. "Please, don't tell him, yet. It's your day tomorrow, you deserve people to focus on you only."
Martha agreed on the condition that Rose would tell the Doctor the very next day before she and Mickey left for their honeymoon. After all, she wanted to see how the almighty Time Lord reacted to the news and she was sure that Mickey would as well.
Martha was right, as soon as Rose stepped back out of the TARDIS she was enveloped in a hug by her bond mate before he pulled back to look her over. He noticed that she had been crying and Rose could see the oncoming storm brewing in his eyes and quickly assured him that she was fine.
The wedding the next day went off without a hitch due in large part to the Doctor who sent the word out that if anything happened anywhere on that day they would have to deal with him. Needless to say that it was the quietest day the universe had ever had.
The next day everyone was enjoying a breakfast feast before Martha and Mickey headed off on their honeymoon. Martha motioned for Rose to tell the Doctor.
Rose took a deep breathe and turned to her bond mate. "Doctor, I need to tell you something."
The Doctor could feel her concern so he took her hand and led her into the living room and out of earshot of everyone else. He was confused when he noticed Martha grinning at him. "What's wrong, sweetheart?"
Rose took another deep breathe before blurting out. "I'm pregnant."
The Doctor blinked a few times as his massive brain tried to make sense out of her words. When he finally had he rose his brow before his mind shut down completely and he fainted.
Rose stared at him in horror as she watched him fall.
Everyone else at the table heard the thump and rushed into the living room to find the Doctor on the floor and Rose crying. Martha rushed up to Rose and placed her arm around the distraught women's shoulders in a hug. "What happened?"
Everyone looked to Rose as well. "I told him I was pregnant."
They all looked at her before Sarah Jane, Jenny, Tish and Mrs Jones all congratulated her while Mickey, Jack and Leo cracked up laughing at how the Doctor reacted to the news.
The Doctor woke up almost two hours later and bolted up right. He looked around frantically for Rose before he saw her surrounded by the others. His eyes locked with hers before he grabbed her hand and dragged her into the TARDIS, locking everyone else out.
Rose's worry skyrocketed when he never said a word to her. He just led her to the medbay and motioned for her to hope onto the bed as he grabbed the wand device that Martha had used two days ago. He waved it over her abdomin until he heard the beeping before turning to face the monitor.
The Doctor could feel Rose's worry and he wanted to comfort her but he had to be sure first, he had to make absoulutly sure that she was before he let his hope get the best of him. He let out a laugh when the results came on screen and he turned back to Rose as he picked her up into a crushing hug while he laughed.
Rose finally let her feelings out and laughed with him, it seemed he was really happy about the pregnancy but she had to make sure. She pulled back from him slightly to look into his eyes. "Are you sure, it's the ultimate domestic, having a child."
The Doctor snogged her until both their respiratory bypasses had to take over before pulling back. "It's totally impossible, thought you'd never be able to but your pregnant and I couldn't be happier," he sent Rose all the feelings that he couldn't put into words.
Rose started crying tears of happiness when she realised that he was really glad to be having a child with her.
Week 5
Rose found her whole life seemed to be changing in the next week. The Doctor wouldn't let her do anything and more times than not she found him in the library going over the books that she had been reading to make sure he knew what to expect. The biggest surprise came when he absoulutly refused to leave the vortex for fear that they would land in a dangerous situation.
After a few days of the Doctor not letting her do anything she had had enough. She stormed into the library and took the book that he had been reading out of his hands. "That's enough, you've read all those books at least a dozen times each. For the past month the TARDIS hasn't allowed me to enter any dangerous situations so we are going on a trip," she then stormed back out the door leaving a gobsmacked Doctor behind.
After Rose had had a go at him he seemed to relax a little and when he realised that Rose was right and the TARDIS wouldn't land them in any dangerous situations he relaxed even more as they continued their trips through time and space.
Rose was the happiest she's ever been but she was not liking the symptoms of her pregnancy. She was back to sleeping the same as a regular human and throwing up each morning before settling her stomach by eating plain biscuits that the TARDIS helpfully gave her.
It was also this week that the Doctor explained to her that a Gallifreyan pregnancy lasted for twelve months and not nine like humans. Rose sighed as she questioned whether the Doctor would be able to handle no trouble for twelve months or eleven now as the Doctor very helpfully pointed out.
Rose also made the Doctor promise that Martha will be the one to help the child come into the world. The Doctor pouted at her suggestion but agreed that it would probably be best as she has more experience than him. When the question was put to Martha she couldn't contain her excitement as she agreed enthusiastically.
Week 6
The sixth week found the TARDIS landing in Mickey and Martha's house. As soon as the box materlised Martha was through the door and dragging Rose towards the medbay. Rose and the Doctor shared a look as they all ended up in the room. Martha motioned for Rose to take a seat while Martha prepared herself to take the ultrasound, it wasn't her speciality but the moment they had asked her to watch over the pregnancy, she read up on everything she'd need to know.
She was surprised when they explained to her how long the pregnancy would be but she should've known considering that their not human. Jenny had been telling all her friends that she's gonna be a big sister soon and that she couldn't wait though her parents had stressed the fact that they had enemies out in the universe as well and to make sure they never found out.
Martha frowned as she ran the scanner over Rose's abdomen a few times before looking at the scanner and frowning even more.
Rose and the Doctor noticed her frown so the Doctor asked. "What is it, Martha? What's wrong?"
Martha seemed to not hear them so Rose decided to try. She raised her voice. "Martha?" Martha startled at hearing her name before looking to Rose. "What's wrong?" Rose insisted.
Martha sighed before sitting on a chair next to the bed. "Nothings wrong yet," Martha assured them. "But I think you might be having. . ." She broke off, not sure how to tell them what she found at Roses glare she blurted out. "Your having twins."
Rose stared at Martha with her mouth open until she heard a thump. Turning to where her bond mate had been standing she leaned over the edge of the bed and found that he had fainted, again. Both Martha and Rose started laughing until they saw him coming around.
Off course then the Doctor had to run his own tests and confirmed that yes she was having twins. When the rest of their family and friends found out they were all over joyed, off course Jack had to comment about how Time Lords and Ladies must have been very fertile for them to have conceived twins.
This had the Doctor commenting that as they had been married for 50 years and had never used protection, the Doctor believing the Gallifreyan tales that they needed to loom because they couldn't conceive naturally, rather than it just taking a very long time.
This had Rose pointing out that since they lived for a long time anyway, then their would be worlds fill of Gallifreyan's if they conceived like humans.
? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ? ゚メᆬ
The Doctor spent everyday since they found out about the twins, taking scans of them and checking to make sure they were developing as they should. And everyday, the others were shown new pictures of the twins even though they were technically still developing.
No one, though, had the heart to complain as they had never seen the Doctor so happy to be having a family with Rose. This had led to a bet the boys made to see how long it took before the Doctor started to twitch from not running for so long.
When the girls found out about the bet, they decided to bet that the Doctor wouldn't run from all the domestics. As it turned out, the girls were right, the Doctor and Rose both thought they might get itchy feet from not running but then the Doctor pointed out that maybe they hadn't because they were embarking on a whole new adventure, one the Doctor thought he'd never be able to have.
Week 7
After a week of putting up with the Doctors manic need to check the twins every day, Rose finally put her foot down and limited him to once a week.
Off course the Doctor spent the last week updating the medbay so he had every advanced tech possible to ensure both babies were developing well. This also meant that when Rose entered the medbay for her weekly scan they could now get a perfect picture of them in 3D so the Doctor could ensure that nothing was going wrong.
The Doctor had been tinkering under the console when he suddenly heard Rose yelling for him. "Doooooctor," he ended up bumping his head on the underside of the console before pulling himself out from under the console and running down the hallway while rubbing his head as he heard Rose yelling for him again. "Doooooctor!" The TARDIS led him to the wardrobe room and he found Rose standing amoungst piles of clothing while holding the coat his fourth regeneration had favoured. "What's wrong, Rose?" The Doctor questioned as he noticed Rose arms in one of the pockets of the coat.
Rose turned to him with a poute. "I feel like some jelly babies but I can't find any."
The Doctors brow rose at that statement. "The TARDIS probably threw them out, cause I haven't liked jelly babies since."
Rose's mood shifted suddenly as she threw his old coat at him. "Then go get me some!" She demanded.
"Rose," the Doctor tried to placate. "I'm not sure where we'd find jelly babies anymore."
Tears suddenly filled her eyes. "But I want some jelly babies!"
The Doctors eyes widened as he hurried forward to comfort her. "It's alright," he assured her as he hugged her. "I'll see if I can find some for you," he assured her as he led her to the console room before inputting co-ordinates for one of the shops he use to buy them from.
It was halfway through the sequence that something he read from one of the many books came back to him. It mentioned that pregnant women may suffer from strange cravings and mood swings though he never expected her to crave things that his past selves had craved. He sighed as he realised he may need to be very careful about what he said cause he didn't want to cause any stress to her.

Rose woke up the next morning and did her usual dash to the toilet before eating the plain biscuits that TARDIS had been supplying her with to help with her morning sickness. She was in the middle of brushing her teeth when a golden shimmer was seen out of the corner of her eye. Rose looked up into the morrior and her eyes widened when she noticed a very light golden shimmer over her skin.
The Doctor had been in the kitchen preparing breakfast for Rose when he felt her worry skyrocket. The TARDIS turned everything off as the Doctor took off out of the kitchen and towards Rose. He barrelled into the ensuit of their room and came to a sudden halt as he took in what was happening to her.
Rose turned to look at him with a worried frown as she held one of her hands up in front of her to watch the wave of gold shimmer through her. "What's happening, Theta?" Rose questioned.
The Doctor shock off his shock as he grabbed Rose's hand and led her towards the med bay while sending her thoughts of reassurance. "It's alright, I'll find out."
An hour later and Rose was watching as the Doctor frowned at the test results. She could feel his worry through the bond so prodded the bond to get his attention. When he turned to her she asked. "What's wrong? I can feel that your worried?"
The Doctor ran his fingers through his hair again as he sighed. "You know how I explained to you that some Gallifreyan's evolved into Time Lords through their exposure to the untempered schism?" He waited for Rose's nod before continuing. "This happened over thousands of years. A tiny golden thread was woven into our TNA which enables us to regenerate. This is also why, even though you weren't born on Gallifrey you still have the ability to regenerate because you were changed by the time vortex." Rose nodded again as the Doctor ran his hands through his hair then grabbed the back of his neck. He was dreading telling her the next part but knew that she deserved to know. "Wellll," he stretched out. "Cause the twins were conceived on this ship in the time vortex they seem to be developing that strand right from the beginning."
Rose stared at him in horror as she wrapped her arms around her middle like she was trying to protect her babies. "What does this mean for me and the babies?"
The Doctor hurried to assure her as he grabbed her hands. "It's alright, it just means you have more energy inside you than your body can handle but all I need to do is find a way to syphone of the extra energy, that's all." Rose nodded her head, she had faith that her bond mate will find a way to help them. The Doctor grinned as he saw Rose relax at his words, he still can't believe that someone like her can have so much faith in him. He leaned in and kissed her quickly, as he pulled away he noticed a thin golden thread reaching from her mouth to his.
Rose's brow rose as she saw the same thing. They stared at each other in shock before Rose lifted her hand to look at it. The golden shimmer she had seen had completely disappeared. She looked back to the Doctor and grinned her toungue touched grin at him. "It looks like you don't need to build a machine after all."
The Doctor grinned back at her. "Brilliant," he agreed.
The Doctor spent the rest of the week experimenting and found that he only needed to kiss Rose for him to syphone of the extra energy. He also reread all the books on energy transfer and Gallifreyan matting habits when he stumbled across an obscure paragraph. It mentioned that in the early days of the Time Lord society, they had the same sort of problem where the females that end up conceiving children would have to much energy running through them that they ended up regenerating and in doing so lost the baby. It wasn't until The Other's mate had conceived that he tried to find a solution. He kissed her one day only to reassure her that he would find a solution that he realised that the energy transferred to himself. He was worried that he would end up regenerating but knew that he wouldn't mind as long as his mate and child were safe. But instead his body managed to neutralise the energy and expel it safely.
The Doctor breathed a sigh of relief that he'd be able to handle the energy transfer cause he only had one regeneration left and he promised his bond mate that he would be a lot more careful. Off course there was still a nagging little worry in the back of his head that reminded him that Rose was carrying twins, something that had never happened on Gallifrey, even to the normal Gallifreyan's.
Week 8
Rose sighed as she sat once again in the medbay, the Doctor was back to checking the twins everyday but this time she didn't argue with him about it. She understood that with this extra worry added on he had to make sure that the both her and the twins would be safe.
The Doctor turned back to her and grinned. "Well that should be all," he assured her. "The twins seem to be developing the way that they should."
Rose returned his grin. "Great So now we can visit with our friends."
The Doctor pouted at her. "But Rooooose," he dragged out. "Do we have to?"
Rose rolled her eyes at him as she grabbed his hand and pulled him out of the medbay, towards the console room. "You promised me that Martha would get to help with the pregnancy," she reminded him. "Plus, since you've upgraded all the equipment then you'll need to show her how to work it all."
The Doctor reluctantly inputted the coordinates for Mickey and Martha's house. He liked being able to watch his children growing inside his bond mate but because he didn't know what to expect when the time came for them to be born he had agreed that it would be wiser to have another person around to help.
The moment the TARDIS materlised, the doors were thrown open and Jenny came running in. She ran straight to her mother and hugged her as she talked a million miles an hour, just like her father.
The Doctor grinned at them as he turned back to the doors and saw Jack, Mickey and Martha peeping through the door. "Well come on then," he gestured for them to enter. He grabbed Martha's hand and pulled her towards the medbay. "I've updated the equipment," he explained to her. "I just need to show you what everything does and how to use them."
Jack and Mickey just looked at each other and grinned before joining Rose and Jenny's conversation. A few hours later and they had caught one another up on what had been happening in each other's lives when Rose started shimmering a gold colour. Everyone stepped back a bit as Rose sighed and raised her hand up to look at it.
Jack was about to yell for the Doctor when the man himself came running into the room. Everyone stood in shock as he ran straight up to Rose and snogged her. They knew that the Doctor got all possessive in front of other people when it came to Rose but any real affection he was reluctant to show even in front of friends. When the Doctor pulled back they noticed the gold coming from Rose's mouth to the Doctors.
The Doctor turned back to face their friends and rubbed his neck with a sheepish look. This then prompted him to explain what the hell happened. Once those explanations were over they all found themselves in the TARDIS galley with mugs of tea in front of them and a coffee for Jack. Another shock came when they noticed that all the food in the cupboards and fridge were healthy which was so unlike the Doctor. Until they noticed an enter cupboard dedicated to jelly babies.
It was Rose's turn to look sheepish. "It seems I have a craving for jelly babies."
"But you never liked them!" Mickey blurted out suddenly.
Rose sent him a look. "I do now!"
Mickey frowned at her. "How could you possible change your mind suddenly," Mickey argued.
Rose's look turned to anger as she stood up to face him. "Because I do, alright!" She yelled before tears started pooling in her eyes. "What's wroung with eating jelly babies," Rose finished as she ran out of the room. The Doctor sent Mickey his own glare before leaving to try and comfort his distressed bond mate.
Martha sent her own glare towards Mickey which softened when she saw that he was shocked and confused by the way that Rose had acted. Martha sighed as she explained to both boys. "She's pregnant which means she is more emotional right now. She's also probably haveing cravings like jelly babies though from what I've read even that would be a bit strange."
It was then that Sarah Jane walked into the galley, having just arrived with Luke. So Martha explained to all of them what was happening with Rose and that they needed to be careful about what they said and did around her so they could keep her as calm as possible. Sarah Jane just nodded her head in agreement while the boys still looked slightly confused.
The Doctor had managed to track Rose down to the Gallifreyan room that Rose favoured and found her wiping her tears away as she sat underneath the silver leafed tree. He sat down with his back to the trunk and pulled Rose into his lap as he waited for her to calm down.
Once he sensed that Rose had calmed down enough he pulled back slightly to look at her face as he wiped the last of her tears from her face. "It's alright, love," he assured her. "From the glare Martha was directing at Mickey before I left, she probably ripped into him before explaining about the symptoms that your experiencing."
Rose sent him a sheepish look. "I don't like these emotional roller coasters, I don't know what happened? I could see that he was only curious and perhaps confused but I just felt so defensive."
The Doctor pulled her to rest her head against his chest as he assured her. "Don't worry, it's just all the extra hormones running through your system."
When Rose didn't responded, he looked down to her and found that she had fallen asleep. He grinned softly as he stood up with Rose in his arms and walked through a door that appeared on the wall near him that lead straight to their bedroom.
After greeting Sarah Jane and Luke and catching her up on what had been happening in their lives the Doctor decided to complete some maintenance on the TARDIS while he waited for Rose to wake up. Jack had decided to help him so they were both ensconed under the console. He could feel that Jack wanted to talk to him about something so he was waiting him out.
Jack sighed again as he pulled himself out from under the console and sat on the jump seat. Jack smirked as he noticed a seatbelt attached to the jump seat, the first of many changes he's sure the TARDIS will be implementing for the family growing on board. "Doc, can I talk to you about something?"
The Doctor pulled himself out and sat down next to Jack, he had a feeling of what Jack might be about to say. "What's up?"
Jack took a breathe before beginning. "I'm thinking about leaving earth for a while. I've lost my Torchwood team, except Gwen who doesn't know I'm alive, I just think it's time to start moving again."
The Doctor sighed as he looked towards the ground. He knew how upset Rose would be if Jack left but he couldn't blame him for wanting to leave considering that Jack wouldn't age like normal, he understood. The Doctor finally looked back towards Jack and nodded his head. "I know Rose likes haveing you based on Earth but I understand. It's hard being unable to die and not ageing like everyone else and I'll try to make sure Rose understands as well."
Jack grinned as he slapped him on the back. "Thanks, Doc."
The Doctor frowned at him. "Don't call me, Doc."
The Doctor and Jack both turned their heads to the corridor as they heard Rose walking in with a cup of tea in her hands. The Doctor motioned for her to sit between them as he nodded his head for Jack to tell her.
Rose was worried as she saw the Doctors and Jack's faces, they looked so serious.
The Doctor took Rose's cup of tea as Jack grabbed both her hands in his. "Rose, I have something to tell you and I want you to let me finish before saying anything okay." Rose glanced at the Doctor who gave her an encouraging smile before looking back towards Jack and nodded her head. Jack took a deep breathe before beginning. "I'm leaving earth for awhile," he held up his hands as Rose opened her mouth to speak and she closed it again as Jack continued. "I know how much you like me being on earth so you can visit all the time but with my team gone and the neighbours starting to notice that I'm not ageing normally, I think it's time for me to leave," he hurried on as he saw Rose becoming upset again. "I'll still stop by every Sunday for dinner and a catch up," he assured her. "But like with you and the Doctor, it'll be longer between visits than just a week."
Rose pulled out a bag of jelly babies as she tried to get her emotions under control, damn hormones, damn cravings. She felt the Doctor through their bond trying to be supportive of her and she knew deep down that Jack wouldn't be able to stay on earth forever, as much as she would like him too. She finally took a deep breathe and looked back up at Jack with tears in her eyes and she nodded at him in understanding.
Jack pulled her into a hug as her tears fell. He knew part of why she was upset was because of the hormones but he was hoping she wouldn't actually cry. He pulled back and wiped the tears of her face. "I'll still come back and see you and I'm sure we'd met out in space and time as well."
Rose nodded her head as she finally got her emotions under control. Jack pulled away from her as the Doctor wrapped his arms around Rose from behind. The Doctor and Rose watched as Jack slowly walked out the TARDIS doors to say goodbye to the rest of their little family.
The Doctor held Rose as she let out all her grief from Jack leaving. Once she had finally calmed down he pulled back slightly so he couldn't look at her. "He'll be back Rose, we'll see him still."
Rose nodded her head in agreement as she calmed herself down. Damn hormones have her crying even when she understands that Jack needs to leave. "I'm fine," she assured the Doctor. "I do understand, I suppose in some respects I just accepted that Jack would always stay here but that's not fair to him."
The Doctor grinned proudly at her as she calmed herself down. He's glade that she's still got a bit of human left in her even if she isn't human anymore. As far as he's concerned the Time Lord society that he grew up in was too stiff and formal for his liking which is why he left as soon as he could.
Week 9
The next week saw the Doctor and Rose visiting places that could distract her from Jack leaving.
Rose gasped awake one morning from a really weird dream, it felt so real, the Doctor had regenerated into a younger man with brown hair sweeping to the side and an even more childlike personality. It wasn't until she looked in his eyes that she saw the pain, so much pain. He was manipulative and didn't care about others feelings.
Rose made her usually dash to the toilet before eating the biscuits the TARDIS provided and brushing her teeth. She grimaced as she readjusted her breasts, the Doctor had assured her that her breasts are tender because thier getting ready to provide nourishment for the twins but it was really annoying. She's gonna have to convince the Doctor to take her someplace where she could buy more comfortable bras.
She walked out of the ensuit to find the Doctor sitting on their bed and fiddling around with one of the nicknacks he had lying around the room. He looked up as she entered and grinned at her, he held out his hand and she took it as he led her to the medbay. Her smile broadened when she saw Martha already waiting for her. She turned to look at the Doctor.
He just shrugged his shoulders. "I landed the TARDIS while you were sleeping, are you alright?" He questioned as he felt something bothering her.
Rose lay on the med bed as Martha ran her checks. She pulled out a bag of jelly babies. "I just had a very strange dream last night," she explained as she told him about the dream.
"It could have been an untapped timeline," the Doctor explained as he remembered what bad wolf had shown him all those years ago. How cold and hard he became without Rose.
Rose sent her agreement as they turned back to see what Martha was doing. Martha grabbed the wand like device attached to the 3D machine and placed it on Rose's belly. Martha let go of the wand and watched as it slowly slid over Rose's abdomin while flashing different colours. Once the wand had finished, Martha replaced it back in the holder and pushed a couple of buttons and the image of the twins was projected in front of them.
Rose and the Doctor stared at their babies in aww, they still couldn't believe that their gonna be parents soon. Martha pushed a couple more buttons on the machine and the beautiful sound started playing. The sound of the twins faint heartbeats.
The Doctor grabbed Rose's hand and grinned at her as she looked towards him. He sent her all his feelings of love and happiness and hope.
Martha continued pushing buttons on the machine and the information about the twins came up on screen. Rose couldn't understand most of the medical jargon that appeared on screen but from what she saw the twins seemed to be healthy and their four little heartbeats were beating fast but the Doctor and Martha assured her that it was perfectly normal.
Just as Martha was packing everything up Jack came bursting into the med bay.
"Jack!" Rose exclaimed with a grin as she hugged him. "What are you doing here?"
Jack huffed a laugh as he pulled back to look at her. "I told ya I'd be around for sunday dinners, didn't I?"
"Yeah, I know," Rose assured him as she took the Doctors hand while she looked closer at Jack. "It's been longer for you than us," she realised.
The Doctor lead them out of the medbay and into the library while Jack thought about his answer. The Doctor and Rose settled on the love seat while Jack sat in the armchair and Martha settled on the couch.
"It's has been longer for me," Jack confirmed. "I just needed some time to think and decide what I'm gonna do."
Rose reached over and took his hand and squeezed it. "It's alright Jack," she assured him. "Usually we're spending longer away while still making Sunday dinners. In fact if it wasn't for the twins," Rose continued as she placed a hand on her small baby bump. "At the moment we're running in line with everyone else so the twins are checked."
Martha looked between them as she realised what they were saying. "Wait," she stated as she turned to Jack. "We only saw you last Sunday, how longs it been for you?"
Jack thought about it for a minute. "Around two years, I think."
Martha just nodded her head as she tried to digest that information before turning to Rose and the Doctor. "What about the two of you?"
Rose looked to the Doctor before turning back to Martha. "About 50 years since the planets were moved," she explained.
Martha just stared at them in shock. It had only been 1 year since the planets had been moved yet 50 years have passed for them.
Sarah Jane understood because she knew the Doctor in his third and fourth forms, Mickey may understand a bit but maybe they should've explained it more. "Okay, Martha," Rose explained. "You know how we told you that Time Lords could regenerate?" She waited for Martha to nod before continuing. "Normal Gallifreyan's live longer than humans by a few hundred years. Time Lords and Ladies because of the ability to regenerate can live for thousands of years not just hundreds."
Martha opened and closed her mouth a few times before commenting. "So you spent 49 years away from earth."
"Well, technically speaking we spent 49 years at any time but here," the Doctor corrected.
Rose nudged him and sent him a glare before turning back to Martha. "Because we age a lot slower we're trying to spread our time with the family out so we don't lose you all too soon."
Martha nodded her head slowly as she thought about what Rose explained. "I guess that makes since, I suppose I never really thought about it before," Martha turned to Jack. "And because you can't die, you don't age normally."
Jack nodded his head. "That's why I had to leave before people started noticing."
Martha just nodded her head, as she thought about it, it did make sense that they would spend longer away from earth. Martha looked up and noticed that they were all watching her, she just shrugged her shoulders. "I suppose it makes sense, I don't know why I thought you'd only be spending a week between visits."
Martha left a few minutes later to get dinner ready while Rose, the Doctor and Jack caught each other up on what had been happening. "So What have you been up to?" Rose questioned.
"Wellll," Jack stretched out like the Doctor. "Spent some time on a few pleasure planets," Rose raised her brow at him and he amended his statement. "Okay not so much pleasure planets that you go to, more sexual pleasure planets."
Rose grinned at him as they left the library to have dinner with the rest of the family.
Week 10
Rose got out of the shower, put on her lingerie and stood in front of the full length mirror to look at her stomach. Now that she could actually see her stomach getting bigger though someone who didn't know her probably wouldn't tell. It was suddenly seeming more real that they were actually having not just one but two babies and the best part was that the Doctor seemed just as excited as she was or maybe even more so since he still insists on checking the twins everyday.
The Doctors arms snaked around her and placed his hands over hers on her belly. She grinned back at him with her toungue touched grin. Her grin fell as she felt something slightly on the edge of her consciousness, she used the techniques the Doctor showed her to find out where it was coming from. She gasped as she realised that it was coming from the twins.
The Doctor spun her around as he felt her confusion. "Are you all right?"
Rose grinned at him as she placed his fingers on her temple to increase their connection. This time it was the Doctors turn to gasp as he felt the faint connection to the twins. His grin grew as he felt the twins realise who he was.
They stood their for hours, just revealing in their twins making contact. "Though at the moment, it'll just be simple emotions as their still growing."
Rose nodded. "I can't believe it," she grinned in excitement. "How many people wish to know what their children are thinking and we get to know."
The Doctor grinned at her as he urged her to get dressed. After he had completed his daily test he led her to the library. While the Doctor was reading up on telepathy and children Rose settled next him with an Agatha Christie book, she been reading them ever since they met her.
A few hours later and the Doctor put down the book he was reading and turned to Rose as she put the book she was holding down. "Okay, so the twins will develop faster than a normal human child, considering their Gallifreyan but cause of their telepathy they may not actually start speaking till later cause they can use telepathy to tell us what they want."
Rose nodded in understanding before grinning. "At least they'd be able to tell us what they want after all other parents have to guess," the Doctor laughed with until her phone started ringing. "Hello," Rose answered. "Jenny, slow down I can hardly hear you, what happened?"
"I," she sobbed out. "I met this guy and I thought he loved me, I knew how dad and uncle Jack would react and I couldn't tell you without dad finding out so I never told anyone. Now I find out that he just wanted to get me in bed, apparently as soon as he does, he drops them," she finished on a sob.
The Doctor watched the different emotions run across her face as he heard exactly what their daughter was telling them. While Rose was trying to calm their daughter down, the Doctor set the coordinates for their daughters apartment in the 51st century.
The moment the TARDIS landed Jenny was through the doors and running to her mother. Rose wrapped her in a hug as she sobbed on her shoulder. The Doctor walked up to them and wrapped them both in his arms until Jenny had calmed down enough to tell them exactly what happened.
Rose led Jenny back out the TARDIS doors and over to her bed as she encouraged Jenny to tell them what happened.
Jenny sat next to her mother and grasped her hands as she haltingly told them what happened. "I was sitting in a corner of the library, studying when I heard his voice just around the corner, I was about to call out to him when I heard him say my name," Jenny sniffed as she continued. "I heard him gloating to his friends about how I'm practically begging him to have his way with me and how he'll win the bet," Jenny finished as she cried.
Rose sent comforting thoughts to Jenny through their bond while glaring at her husband to not do anything foolish until they know that Jenny will be alright. Once Jenny seemed calm enough the Doctor knelt in front of her and took her hands. "Tell us everything that you can about the bastered," he insisted.
Jenny told them everything including how he was working towards getting into the time agency. The Doctor and Rose shared a look as they suddenly realised exactly who to call.
Before anyone could mention anything though the door to the room opened and another female walked in. She looked between Jenny who still had tear tracks running down her face, to Rose who looked furious while still having her arms around Jenny, to the Doctor who had been pacing across the floor and looking furious. She shivered at the look she noticed in the Doctors eyes before looking to Jenny. She folded her arms as she looked Jenny up and down. "What did the bastered do now?"
Jenny pulled out of her mother's arms slightly as she tried to wipe the tears from her eyes. Rose grinned slightly and pulled a box of tissues out of her pocket to hand to her. "Mum, dad I'd like you to met my room mate, Holly."
Holly dropped her arms as she looked between Rose and the Doctor. "Holy shit," she exclaimed. "Your her parents, your time lords. You don't look any older than Jenny."
Rose could tell that she'll really like Holly as she held out her hand to her. "It's nice to finally met you," Rose greeted. "Jenny's told us a lot about you."
Holly grinned at them. "It's nice to met you as well, Jenny's told me all about you and I promise I haven't said a word. If the time agency found out about you, I don't want to know what would happen, besides I like Jenny. She's a lot better than some of the people here," Holly finished.
Thanks to Holly's distraction it allowed the Doctor to finally get his anger under control. "It's nice to met you," he greeted before turning to his daughter. "I'm calling Jack," he told her. "He'll know what to do."
Jenny nodded her head with her mother as Holly looked between them. "Is This the same uncle Jack that use to work for the time agency?" Jenny nodded her head and Holly's smile widened. "So he'll be able to stop the bastard from ever making it."
"That's our hope," Rose agreed as the Doctor wandered off to make the call.
Not even a minute after the Doctor finished talking to Jack did the man himself appear. Jack grinned as he noticed the new female in the room. "Well, hello gorgeous," Jack flirted.
Jenny groaned. "Not know, uncle Jack," she denied catching Jack's attention.
Jack's flirty grin dropped as he saw how upset Jenny was. "What happened?"
Rose took Jack through what Jenny had told them and watched as Jack's face showed how angry he was. Rose then took him through the plan that she and the Doctor had thought up through their bond and his grin turned thoughtful.
"I still know people at the time agency," Jack agreed. "I'm sure I could ensure the bastard never makes it there," Jack explained as he disappeared in a flash of light.
Rose looked to Holly and noticed her gobsmacked expression. "He's a lot to get use to," Rose explained.
Holly shook her head before turning to Rose. "I've seen enough guys like him," Holly dismissed as she explained. "But I've never actually seen a vortex manipulator at work."
Rose raised her brow as she turned to Jenny. "You've never taken her anywhere with yours?"
Jenny shrugged. "She only found out I was a Time Lady, a month ago. I didn't want to shock her too much."
Holly turned on Jenny then. "You've got a vortex manipulator?" Jenny nodded her head in confirmation. Holly folded her arms and glared at Jenny. "You never told me."
Jenny shrugged again. "It's been inhanced by my father," Jenny pointed out. "And it's just til my own TARDIS is ready to be used."
Holly looked shocked again. "You mean, you get your own TARDIS?" Jenny slowly nodded her head as Holly grabbed her chest and fell to her bed in mock shock. "I don't know how many shocks I can take."
Jenny snorted a laugh and wracked her on her leg as she rolled her eyes. "That's not even funny," but she ruined it by laughing.
Holly grinned back at her, all she wanted was to make Jenny smile. "Mission accomplished though," she pointed out.
Jenny laughed again as she nodded. "Yeah, I am feeling better actually," she agreed.
Rose and the Doctor spent a few hours catching up and when Jack showed up and told them what had happened they spent hours catching up. Holly also started coming to Sunday dinners with the rest of the family once they found out she had no close family of her own.
Week 11
The Doctor was eating his very plain breakfast thanks to Rose's extreme sense of smell which makes her nauseated at the slightest hint of a smell even hours after whatever it was left the room. He was communicating with his twins while their mother slept. He's found that they may only be able to communicate with their parents telepathically, he's able to show them pictures and talk to them. Let's just say that they will be the smartest newborns ever.
Rose woke to the feeling of joy and excitement and looked to her stomach as she realised that the feelings were coming from the twins. She sent an enquiry to the Doctor who showed her what he had been showing the twins.
Rose showered and dressed before heading to the kitchen for breakfast, glade that though she feels nauseous, she hasn't thrown up. She kissed the Doctor as she walked past before grabbing a bowl of plain cereal and a bag of jelly babies.
The Doctor leaned back and watched as she ate. "I thought," the Doctor broke off as Rose looked to him. "I thought we could, um, look for things to decerorate the twins room."
Rose raised her brow at him. "I thought the TARDIS could decorate any room the way you want," she pointed out as she noticed the Doctor's fidgeting.
The Doctor swallowed a few times before explaining. "I just thought, we could go shopping together. A nice bonding experience."
Rose took pity on the Doctor especially since this is the first time that he's been willing to shop and even suggested it. "Okay," she agreed. "And the best thing is, we can check to see if the twins like something before buying it."
The Doctor jumped up with a grin and ran to the console room to input coordinates to a great planet that specialises in babies and has everything that you could ever need.
A few hours later found the Doctor and Rose laughing as they reentered the TARDIS, weighed down with shopping bags. The Doctor pulled more things out of his bigger on the inside pockets because they brought more than they could carry.
Rose fell onto the jump seat in exhaustion as she watched the Doctor. "So, have you thought of names for the twins?" She questioned.
The Doctor whipped his head around to stare at her as he opened and closed his mouth a few times before answering. "Usually they would learn their true Gallifreyan names at one years old," the Doctor explained.
"I know," Rose agreed. "But that doesn't mean we can't give them Earth names for now."
The Doctor thought about it and agreed. "Okay, but I've never thought about names before so why don't you choose."
Rose grinned at him. "Well, I did have some ideas," she explained. "How about Jack," she suggested and the Doctor rolled his eyes and groaned but Rose felt one of the twins liked the name so she continued. "And I thought James for the other one, we could call him Jamie," Rose felt the other twin liked the name while the Doctor gapped at her. Rose shrugged. "I just thought, since he was one of your companions."
The Doctor leaned towards her and snogged her before pulling back with a grin. "It's perfect," he agreed as he also felt the twins acceptance of the names. Rose grinned back at him as he sent the TARDIS back into the vortex.
Week 12
Rose and the Doctor were lying on the red grass in the Gallifreyan room on the TARDIS. Rose was running her fingers through his hair while he ran his hand over the prominent baby bump while he shared images of his home world to the twins. Rose had already seen the images but she enjoyed the twins reaction to them.
She loved being telepathic cause it means they didn't have to say a word to each other and could communicate over long distances. The TARDIS had helped them decorate the twins room a few days ago and had included the stars that can be seen in the night sky on Earth and Gallifrey in the ceiling.
The sound of a mobile phone rang through the room so Rose fished around for it in her pockets before answering. "Hello," she greeted.
"Hey Rose," Martha greeted. "UNIT has been asking to talk to the Doctor. They found something that he might be able to help them with."
Rose grinned as the Doctor's head shot up when he heard what Martha said. "We'll Be There, just text us the coordinates," she agreed as the Doctor helped her up and they ran to the console room.
A minute later and they were stepping out of the TARDIS and being greeted by Martha and Mickey. While Mickey led the Doctor to the UNIT base, Martha took Rose back into the TARDIS and too the med bay for a scan.
Rose could tell that Martha wanted to say something so waited her out. "So, how are my boys?"
Martha turned a confused look to Rose. "How do you know their boys?"
Rose grinned at her. "We're telepathic, And since their brains developed they started communicating with us," she explained. "They can only send feelings but it's a start and the Doctor's been teaching them things so they'll be the smartest newborns ever."
Martha joined her grin as she finished her checks on the twins and decleared Rose and the babies fit and healthy.
Rose followed Martha out of the TARDIS and towards her kitchen, she watched as Martha made tea for the both of them while she snacked on jelly babies. Martha put the cup in front of her and she took a sip before deciding that she'll have to be the one to start her talking. "Okay what's on your mind?" Rose questioned Martha.
Martha's head snapped up. "What makes you think that?"
Rose raised her brow. "I've known you long enough to know when something's on your mind."
Martha sighed. "How is the Doctor handling the domestics?" Martha questioned instead.
Rose accepted her change in topic as she felt that it will give Martha answers. "He's handling it like a pro," Rose shrugged. "At the beginning I was worried that he'd get twitchy feet from not landing in danger but he kept assuring me that this was the biggest adventure of his life, one he never expected to experience. Now, I haven't seen him looking bored or anythin' and sometimes when we have no choice I accept that I have to stay in the TARDIS," Rose explained.
Martha's look turned thoughtful as she sighed again. "Mickey and I have been talking about starting a family."
Rose grinned. "That's wonderful news," Rose assured her until she noticed that Martha didn't seem happy about it. "What's wrong?"
Martha looked back at her cup. "I know how much Mickey thrives on the adventure and I don't think I could handle having a child and worrying about him."
Rose placed her hand over Martha's and waited until Martha looked at her. "I've known Mickey my whole life," Rose reminded her. "And the one thing I know is that he's always wanted to have a family and that he loves you very much. Just talk to him, tell him how your feeling," she advised.
Martha nodded her head as she accepted the advise. They spent the rest of the afternoon catching up and Rose shared some hilarious stories of the Doctor until the guys arrived back home.
The Doctor walked into the kitchen and showed Rose what UNIT wanted him to see. Rose started laughing as she saw the plaque that the Doctor showed her.
Martha looked between them before noticing the picture carved into it and had to laugh as she shook her head. "Where did they find that?"
The Doctor placed the plaque down as he explained. "One of the first trips we took with Donna was to Pompeii. We managed to rescue a family from the volcano and they must have created this. UNIT managed to get their hands on this before pictures could be put over the Internet. It was dug up at a Roman dig site."
They spent a few more hours catching up before Rose and the Doctor headed back to the TARDIS.
Week 13
The Doctor and Rose were visiting a marketplace on an asteroid, the Doctor had run off to buy some parts that he claimed he needed for the TARDIS so Rose was wandering around the stalls. Rose suddenly heard a distinct voice calling out only to turn around and almost running into the first Doctor.
The first Doctor grabbed her arms gently to prevent her from falling over. "I'm awfully sorry," He apoligised as he made sure she was steady before moving past her.
Rose grinned at him. "That's alright, Doctor," Rose assured him before slapping a hand over her mouth when she realised that he wouldn't know her yet.
The effect was instant. The first Doctor whirled around on his heel and stared at her, trying to remember if he had met her before. "Have we met, you seem oddly familiar?"
Rose swallowed a few times as she looked around for an excuse. "Um, sort off but we haven't met yet," Rose tried to assure him.
The first Doctor peered closely at her hand before his eyes widened considerably. "Is that you petal?" Then he glanced down at the baby bump that was visible and frowned. "Are you here with someone?"
Rose tried to come up with a suitable lie that would explain why a person born in the 21st century would be out of her time when the first Doctor grabbed her hand. She gasped with the first Doctor as she felt his mind connecting with her's through the bond she has with the tenth Doctor.
The first Doctor opened and closed his mouth a few times before swallowing audibly. "We're bond mates," he exclaimed. He then placed his hands on either sides of her chest as he felt her double heartbeat. "Your suppose to be human," he accused her.
Before she could respond she heard the tenth Doctor yelling for her. She turned just as he ran up to her and stopped suddenly when he realised who was with her.
The Doctor scratched behind his ear as he looked between Rose and the first Doctor. "Oh, uh," he tried to think of something. The memories finally unlocked for him and he realised what was about to happen.
"What did you do," the first Doctor yelled out. "Did you forget everything that we had been taught or do you just not care. You bonded with her while she's pregnant with someone else's child."
The Doctor's look turned to anger. "That's my children she's carrying."
Rose put her head in her hands as she groaned. It was one thing for him to find out about the bond, it's quiet another to hear he's having a child but at least it seemed to have stopped the first Doctor from yelling.
The first Doctor looked between them. "But, but that's impossible. I saw her as a healthy four year old human. How can she now be a grown Gallifreyan woman, carrying our. . ." The first Doctor broke of as he realised what his older self had said. "Did you say children?"
Rose looked around and realised they were receiving quiet a few strange looks. "Not here," she insisted as she grabbed each Doctor's hands and led them towards the first Doctor's TARDIS. The moment she entered the doors she heard an excited hum and felt a telepathic hug from the old girl. Rose walked towards the much younger time rotor and placed her hand on it. "I'm glade you still know me even though we haven't actually met yet."
The first Doctor was back to being struck silent before shaking his head as he walked towards her. "I never thought she'd respond to anyone but me like that."
The Doctor grinned as he moved towards Rose and placed his arm around her. "She and the old girl have a connection."
The first Doctor's look turned to confusion. "But how, how did all this happen?"
Rose walked towards him and took his hands in hers. "I won't go into specifics but I was dying so to save me, the TARDIS changed my biological code."
"But the TARDIS can't go around changing the species of a person," the first Doctor denied.
Rose took a deep breathe. "There's a lot I'm skipping but even as a four year old I was different but still human."
The first Doctor ran a hand through his hair but he still held one of Rose's hands as he thought. "Okay," he accepted. "But how did that happen," he indicated Rose's baby bump.
"Welllll, you know how a man and woman who love each other very. . ." The Doctor broke off when Rose slapped his arm and glared at him.
Rose turned back to the first Doctor. "Let's just say that Rasslion lied about the curse. He wanted to use the looms so he could create his idea of a perfect society."
The first Doctor was about to rant and curse Rasslion when he felt the twins reach out to his mind. His head snapped down to look at Rose's baby bump. "It's twins and their boys," he realised as he placed his hand over the bump.
Rose grinned at him as she placed her hand over his. "You have a real family, Doctor," Rose pointed out gently. "Not just me and the twins, but other humans who love you very much and would do anything for you."
The Doctor looked back up at her. "Thank you, petal."
Rose stroked his cheek gently before the Doctor broke in. "We should be going, we've tempted fate long enough."
Rose nodded her head as he pulled her towards the doors. "I'll be seeing you again, Doctor," Rose reminded the first Doctor as she stepped back out of the doors and into the market place.
The Doctor poked his head back through the doors. "Remember, you have to forget this."
The first Doctor nodded as he closed his eyes and placed a lock around the last few minutes. He opened his eyes and looked around as he realised that he couldn't remember how he made it back to the TARDIS. He looked to the time rotor as the TARDIS let out an excited hum but he could never figure out why she seemed excited.
Rose and the Doctor watched from a distance as the first Doctor's TARDIS dematerialised. Rose turned to him as they slowly walked back to their TARDIS. "Do you think he'll be alright."
The Doctor grinned at her. "I never did figure out why the TARDIS kept urging me to go on, kept telling me that there is something worth fighting for especially during the war. Now I know, she knew about the family we create together."
Rose grinned at him as he leaned down to kiss her before they both stepped into their TARDIS.
Week 14
"Doctoooor," Rose yelled out as she pulled everything out of the cupboards in the kitchen, looking for something to eat.
Hearing Rose yelling for him like that had him sprinting through the TARDIS hallway until he dashed into the kitchen and right up to her. "What is it, what's wrong?"
Rose sent him a glare. "There's nothing to eat and I'm hungry."
The Doctor finally felt his hearts calming down as he looked around at all the food Rose had pulled out. "But there's plenty of food here."
Rose folded her arms across her chest and deepened her glare. "But I don't feel like any of it."
The Doctor noticed tears appearing in Rose's eyes so held up his hands quickly and gave in. "Ok, tell ya what. We'll visit with Martha and Mickey and then go shopping, ok," he placated quickly. Rose's smile was all the encouragement he needed, so heaving a sigh that he hadn't upset her, he sent the TARDIS to land in Martha and Mickey's living room.
Martha and Mickey looked towards each other as the TARDIS landed in front of them, then they both looked towards the calander and realised that, no they hadn't got the date wrong, itis the middle of the week.
The Doctor popped his head out the door and grinned at them sheepishly before being shoved out by Rose who followed him. "Have you got anything to eat?" Rose asked as she walked towards their kitchen without waiting for an answer.
The Doctor grinned crookedly at them. "Sorry, I think she's going through another craving," he explained.
Martha stood from the couch and approached the Doctor. "It's alright, my mum was the same when she carried my siblings and I," she assured him as she hugged him before getting a good look at him. "You look tired, have you been sleeping?"
The Doctor returned her hug. "Almost as much as Rose," he assured her. "I think, cause of the bond between us, some off her pregnancy stuff is affecting me," he suddenly felt happiness filter through the bond and realised that Rose must off found something that she liked to eat. "Well, it looks like my bond mate has found something, shall we go and see."
Mickey and Martha led the Doctor into the kitchen and stopped with their mouths open to see that Rose was eating fish fingers and custard together. "Ah, Rose, What are you doing?" Mickey questioned flabagstered.
The Doctor moved around the couple and towards Rose as Rose responded. "Eating fish custard," she replied, sending Mickey the Doctor's dribbled on ya shirt look, like it was obvious.
The Doctor wrinkled his nose as she offered a piece to him. "No, thank you, Rose," he explained as he gently lowered her hand. "Are you sure it's good for the twins?"
Rose gently placed her hand on her baby bump and grinned at him. "They love it," she assured him.
Martha pinched Mickey in his side to get him moving. "Great, you can take all the custard and fish fingers we have back to the TARDIS, if you like," she offered Rose.
Rose grinned at her as she gathered up the three boxes of fish fingers and two boxes of custard and the plate she had been eating out off and skipped to the TARDIS.
Mickey continued to stare after her until he could no longer see her before turning back to the Doctor who had a thoughtful look. "What the hell just happened?"
Mickey's question brought the Doctor out of his thoughts. "Oh,um, I've never tried that combination before," he explained.
Mickey pointed the way Rose had gone. "But I thought you said her cravings seemed to be what you and your previous regenerations have had?"
The Doctor shrugged. "I have a feeling that, that craving may possibly be from a future me."
Mickey looked between where Rose had disappeared and the Doctor. "You mean. . ." He couldn't even finish his sentence before letting out a howl of laughter.
The Doctor scowled at him before rising and following his bond mate back to the TARDIS.
Martha managed to stop Mickey's laughter before grabbing the Doctor arm to turn him towards her. "He didn't mean anything by it," she assured him.
The Doctor relaxed his stance. "I know," he assured her. "And I suppose we'll see you for Sunday dinner at Sarah Jane's," the Doctor reminded her.
Martha gave him a quick hug. "Absolutely," she assured him as he entered the TARDIS and sent her back into the vortex.
Week 15
Rose finally seemed to be getting over her pregnancy symptoms and seemed to have more energy lately, especially in the bedroom. The Doctor refused to do anything intimate with Rose in case the babies were hurt but Martha blushing slightly, explained that they could still be intimate without hurting the babies.
It was also during that week that Rose found herself in her first spot of trouble. They landed on a planet that seemed perfectly fine as they wandered the marketplace. What they didn't know, was that there was a shortage of fertile woman on this particular planet and though most of the men wouldn't steal another's woman. One of the richest men on the planet, thought he could get away with taking Rose, thinking that because she was pregnant, it ment she was fertile.
The moment, the Doctor felt her being taken, he went on a rampage. By the time he had rescued Rose from the man, he had completed destroyed that mans life. When the government tried to intercede and told the Doctor that he had to go through the court process to get Rose back he decided that he wasn't waiting and he ended up destroying the goverment as well.
He left destruction in his wake and showed anyone that even thought about taking his bond mate, he would completely destroy them. It took Rose a few days to be able to calm the Doctor down and a few more before being able to convince him to allow them to leave the vortex.
Martha had been watching Rose as she nursed a cup of tea. This wasn't the first time they had dropped by in the middle of the week but this seemed different.
"Okay," Martha stated, startling Rose out of her thoughts. "What going on?"
Rose thought about what to say before starting. "I'm starting to think that maybe as the pregnancy continues, that we might just stick to visiting friends rather than travelling properly."
"What brought this on?" Martha quired.
Rose sighed again and explained about their last trip and how the Doctor reacted. "It took awhile to convince him to even leave the vortex, let alone coming to see you."
Martha thought about how she could help them. "What about if, when you do go on trips, you stay in the TARDIS until he makes sure that it is alright. If he does get into trouble, then at least your on hand to help if need be."
Rose brought that suggestion up to the Doctor later that night. "That acctually sounds very reasonable," he agreed.
Rose grinned. "That god, considering how often you do end up in trouble."
"Oi," the Doctor complained but then grinned a moment later.
Week 16
The next week found the Doctor and Rose falling into a pattern. The Doctor went out first and made sure that the planet was safe before letting Rose out. Then they would go sightseeing and shopping before heading back to the TARDIS.
On one particular trip he landed himself in jail. He sent a message to Rose through the bond as to how she could get him out.
The next morning found Rose dressed in a suit with her belly showing her pregnancy and she walking into the police station to get the Doctor released.
The receptionist looked up as Rose walked up to her. "Can I help you?"
Rose smiled at her. "I'm here to bail my husband out," Rose answered.
The receptionist brought up the files. "Who is your husband?"
"The Doctor," Rose explained.
The receptionists brow furrowed as she typed. "Which one?"
Rose tried to hide her shock as she sent an enquiry to her husband who sent her a sheepish feeling back. "Both," Rose answered her.
The receptionist couldn't hide her shock as she picked up the phone and called the warden. "Yes sir, I have a woman here that says that both Doctors are her husbands," she waited for a respons before agreeing. "Yes sir." The receptionist placed the phone down and turned back to Rose. "The warden would like to see you and both your husbands," she explained as she pointed Rose the way.
Rose knocked on the door and walked in when asked to find her husband standing in front of the desk with a sheepish look on his face and next to him was standing the second Doctor. Rose sent him and exasperated look. "You could have told me that another you was here?"
The Doctor sent her his apology which the second Doctor must have picked up on because he looked between them suspisciously.
The warden sighed as he looked at each of them. "You come in asking about one husband and now claim two?"
Rose nodded her head as she gestured to the tenth Doctor. "He had sent me word that he was in prison, he never told me that my other husband was here as well."
The warden sighed. "The problem is that they both insulted a high ranking official in the same way," the warden explained. "This high ranking official is demanding compensation for the humiliation."
Rose's eyes narrowed. "What compensation?"
"He demands them both to serve him for a year," the warden explained.
Rose rolled her eyes as she sighed. "The problem is that I can't let them go for that long," she explained as she pointed to her stomach. "Not only will I not allow my children to be born without their fathers but I will die if they are away from me for too long," she could see the warden was about to argue when she felt the golden waves wash over her, proving her statement.
The wardens eyes widened significantly. "What was that?"
Rose sighed again. "That is what happens when a build up of energy happens while my race are pregnant, I need my husbands to syphone of the excess energy or both me and my children will die."
The wardens look turned thoughtful. "Do you need both of them?"
Rose's glare deepened. "I'm carrying twins, yes I need both of them," that was a slight exaggeration but it seemed to work. "I can promise you that if you let it be known that we escaped, we will never come back."
That seemed to sway the warden cause he nodded his head. "Okay, you can leave through the back door but how would you unlock it?"
Rose grinned. "It's alright, we have our ways."
The moment they walked out the back door, they took off running for the second Doctors TARDIS. This was the first time where Rose realised that it was more difficult to run in her condition and she knew it would only get worse.
They entered the second Doctors TARDIS who greeted Rose very warmly while the second Doctor piloted his TARDIS to theirs. Once landed, the Second Doctor said goodbye and Rose kissed him on his cheek as a thank you before leaving one TARDIS and entering the other.
Once the Doctor had sent them into the vortex he turned with a sheepish look to Rose who had her arms folded and a frown on her face. "Really, Theta," Rose complained. "Making the same mistake, twice."
The Doctor shrugged. "Well technically, I had to forget about this encounter so I only did it once."
Rose threw up her hands as she sighed. "Yes well, at least this adventure has shown me that I can't run like I use to be able to and it'll only get worse."
The Doctor nodded his head. "I'm sorry that you won't be able to help much longer but I'm not sorry that your carrying our children."
Rose grinned back at him. "I'm not sorry either, but you do need help sometimes," she pointed out.
"Tell ya what," the Doctor agreed. "We'll only go to uninhabited planets and when I do need to help a planet we could invite our family along to help."
Rose grinned as she nodded her head in agreement.
Week 17
It was during the next week, while Rose was lying on a beach and watching as the Doctor played in the water with the very friendly wildlife, that they received a call on the psychic paper. Rose pulled it out of the Doctors pants pocket and looked at it while the Doctor headed back towards her. "Sweeties, need to talk, please come to Sarah Jane's house, River."
The Doctor frowned as he read the message before shrugging and heading back towards the water.
Rose frowned at his back. "Where are you going?"
The Doctor turned back to her. "To play."
"What about the message?" Rose questioned.
The Doctor shrugged. "We live in a time machine, Rose," he pointed out.
Rose waved the psychic paper around. "But, Rivers asked us to come," she pointed out.
The Doctor came back towards her. "But, Rooose," he pouted. "I want to play."
Rose squeaked as the Doctor picked her up and carried her to the water. "Doctor, I know your not to fond of River, but she did ask nicely."
The Doctor walked into the water, still holding Rose in his arms. "Let's play for at least another hour, why spoil our holiday."
Rose rolled her eyes but agreed as they played in the water. It was a few more hours before Rose managed to convince the Doctor to visit Sarah Jane's to met River.
Rose rolled her eyes at the Doctor as he landed them in Sarah Jane's backyard. "Stop pouting," Rose ordered.
"I'm not pouting," the Doctor insisted. "Time Lords don't pout."
Rose grabbed his hand and led him out the doors. "Keep telling yourself that and maybe someday it will come true."
They were ambushed as soon as they left the TARDIS. The Doctor was taken by the boys and piled into a car while Rose was led through the kitchen and into the living room which had been decorated in blue and white. "Happy baby shower," everyone shouted.
Rose gasped as she saw the food and presents laid out. "What's this for?"
River grinned at her. "We thought that since your on your last week of the first trimester, we could now give you a baby shower."
Jenny bounced up to her. "What do think, mum?" Jenny questioned. "Aunt Sarah and Aunt Martha explained to me what a baby shower was and I wanted to help."
Rose placed her arm around Jenny's waist as she looked at her family with tears in her eyes. "Thanks, so much, I never thought about it."
Meanwhile, the boys had taken the Doctor to a bar to celebrate.
The Doctor frowned at them. "What are we doing here?"
Jack placed a drink in the Doctors hands. "The girls are throwing a baby shower for Rose so we thought we'd take you for a drink," Jack grinned. "To toast to the expectant father."
Rose enjoyed spending hours, catching up with everyone including River though she couldn't help but thinking about how River dies. Jenny let her know that she has found a lovely guy that she liked very much.
"For gods sake, don't tell your father or uncles," Rose implored her. "Their still angry about the last guy."
Jenny scoffed. "Believe me, their not gonna met him until we're engaged."
Rose's brow rose. "You sound so sure?"
Jenny nodded her head with a grin. "Absolutely, I love him so much and I know he loves me too," she assured her mother as she waved Holly over.
"You been telling your mother about the new guy?" She realised.
Jenny nodded her head. "Can please assure her that, this time we checked him out."
Holly grinned at Rose. "Believe me, we made sure he was above board."
Rose grinned back. "Well then, I'm happy for you," Rose assured her with a hug.
The boys stumbled back into the house at 5 in the afternoon, completely drunk and singing sea shanties. The Doctor stumbled upto Rose. "I love you soooooo much," the Doctor decleared as he tried to kiss her.
Rose turned her head aside as she smelt his breathe and sent a glare to Jack while making sure the Doctor sat in a chair and not on the floor. "I never should've told you about his weakness for ginger."
Jack shrugged unrepentantly. "It's funny to watch him, when he's drunk, especially this one. The last regeneration would properbly have hit anyone that even looked at you and insulted everyone else."
Rose sighed as the Doctor pulled her onto his lap and placed his hands on her belly. She could feel the twins confusion when their father decided to sent them mixed feelings. She soothed their confusion while explaining the their father was not in his right mind. She also sent the Doctor a rebuff and blocked his connection to the twins which caused the Doctor to pout.
"But Rose," the Doctor pouted. "I was just explaining to them what was happening."
Rose slapped his arm. "You were sending them confused thoughts, making them even more confused. Leave them alone until your sober." She noticed the confused look that was passing between everyone else. "Ah, the twins have been contacting us for weeks now."
Martha sent her a confused look. "How could they be?"
"The Doctor explained, that since their brains have developed their telepathy has as well," Rose explained.
Everyone seemed to accept that and they moved on to other topics. A few hours later the woman had left to have dinner in the dinning room, leaving the men to sleep in the living room.
The Doctor finally stumbled into the TARDIS at 2 o'clock in the morning and fell asleep on the jumpseat. The Doctor startled awake to a large bang before grabbing his head and groaning. "What was that god awful noise."
"Did it hurt?" Rose questioned.
"Yes," the Doctor groaned as he winced.
"Good," Rose stated unsympathetically. "You deserve it."
The Doctor groaned as he closed his eyes and laid on his back, on the jump seat. "Why don't you care?" He complained.
Rose scoffed. "You taught me how good our sense of smell can be," she reminded him. "So why can you not smell ginger when it's placed in your drink."
The Doctor just groaned again so Rose gave up and left for Sarah Jane's house to help clean up since the males seem to be still out of it. Once everything was put to rights, Rose offered to take a Jenny, Holly, and River back to where they need to be.
She dropped River off at Luna University, where she was studying then she dropped Jenny and Holly off in their dorm room and then parked the TARDIS in the vortex. All while the Doctor continued sleeping on the jumpseat.
