Yuma, Sota, and Gina are at Sota's house and they are waiting for Astral's answer to solve the problem. Astral looked at Sota's necklace. Sota is now uneasy now that he can see Astral now. The necklace let Sota have the ability to see Astral now.
"Looks like Eris made this necklace to have Black Mist stay in one place so he doesn't escape." Astral explained. "I don't know why she did it to this boy."
"What is there something wrong with me?" Sota questioned.
Astral waved his hands in front" No, I'm not saying that. I am just saying that I don't know why she put the necklace in you in the first place and not dragging him with her to revive Don Thousand." Astral explain.
" I think she doesn't want to have trouble from Black Mist." Yuma suggest.
"Probably." Astral said.
"Ok, but why can't I take this necklace out." Sota said. He reach for the necklace, but he got shocked." Oww!"
"You shouldn't do that." Yuma warned. "It will shock you if you try to take it out." Yuma said. He then pointed at Black Mist.
"And you shouldn't leave Sota ever because the same thing will happen to you if you try to leave his side." Yuma said with a glare.
Black Mist huffed, "Idiot."
Yuma is annoyed at this, but with Black Mist and Sota in a contract by the necklace, Black Mist can't cause any mischief and he can't take Astral's body either.
"I don't know what is going on, but something tells me that you guys are not friends at all." Sota said.
"You think." Yuma said in annoyance.
"What is going on with you guys with this guy?" Sota ask.
"Black Mist is a monster. He has done things that are unforgiving and cause us trouble." Yuma said. " I will never forgive you for what you done to Astral and the mischief you did to my friends." Yuma said as she glared at Black Mist.
"Well, I will look after him. "Sota said.
Black Mist blinked. Astral and Yuma are shocked by his answer.
"You mean that he are going to look out for this monster." Yuma said.
"I guess I am since I am a...what would you call me for watching him?" Sota ask.
"A guardian" Astral said.
"Yeah, let's go with that." Sota said.
Black Mist looked at Sota. "Why I'm stuck with this human? He seems he doesn't mind being put up with me." Black Mist said.
"My brother is like that. He always put on a brave face even things looks bad. He can be... silly but he is fun to hang out with. So Mr. Black Mist look after my brother." Gina said. Gina seems to be relaxed now that her brother will look after Black Mist and is not worried like last time at school.
Black Mist grumbled. Even Sota's sister isn't scared of him anymore. Yuma giggled when Astral try to hold back his laugh as Gina called him Mr. Black Mist.
"We should get going. I think I will contact Eliphas about what happened." Astral said.
"I will see you guys tomorrow." Sota said.
Yuma, Astral and the others left Gina and Sota's house. "Call us if he cause trouble." Yuma said.
"We will." Sota said.
Yuma and Astral left but still feel uneasy about Black Mist being with Sota.
The next day, it is the next school day. Yuma woke up early to find Sota and see if he is all right.
"Do you think Sota will be alright?" Astral said.
"I hope so." Yuma said as he run.
He saw bunch of students walking to school but he also saw them uneasy about something. They are making a weird look on their face like they saw something crazy. Yuma went closer to where the students are looking and heard talking.
"I can't believe that I have to follow you even at school." Black Mist said with an annoyed voice.
"Why have you gone to school?" Sota ask.
"No!" Black Mist said. "Why are you so positive? It is annoying." Black Mist said.
"Have you hear of the phrase? Do positive and good will happen to you." Sota said with a smile.
"No and nor I care." Black Mist said with an annoyed look on his face. Black Mist is mad about this and talking to Sota isn't making things better.
Yuma saw Sota and Black Mist talking. Apparently the students find it strange because they can't see Black Mist. So they think that Sota is talking to himself. It happens to Yuma because since he can only see Astral, the students think he is crazy for talking to himself.
"Sota." Yuma call to Sota.
Sota looked. "Hi, Yuma. Hi Astral." Sota greeted.
"Are you doing alright?" Yuma ask.
"I'm fine, just getting to know Black Mist." Sota said in a cheerful voice.
Black Mist huffed on this. Astral and Yuma are shocked that Sota is trying to make friends with Black Mist even the things he done to his sister at school.
"Well, I use telepathy to contact Eliphas and he said he is going to research the necklace. He will help us to get rid of the necklace." Astral said.
"Good, the sooner that happens the better." Black Mist said. He can't wait to leave and continue his mayhem and he still thinking of controlling Astral's body. But with the necklace, it prevents him to carry out that plan.
There is bell ringing at school. "Let's go. We are going to be late." Sota said. He starts running to school and Black Mist roll his eyes as he follows him.
Yuma and Astral follow them with uneasy feelings.
Yuma and Sota are looking at the board learning by the teacher. Astral looked at the board seeing what the class is learning. He notices that Yuma isn't sleeping like when he is first year. He is awake and he is better at his studies then last time. He smiled by his partner progress of studying.
Black Mist sighed.
"God, this is so boring." Black Mist said. Astral glared at him.
"Would you be quiet? They are trying to study." Astral said.
Black Mist huffed. " Why not it's not like they can hear us?" Black Mist said.
Sota looked and he saw what they are arguing. Yuma put his hand in his head to surpass his rage. It is annoying that Astral and Black Mist are fighting.
"Yeah, well why don't you cheat for him since he is so bad at studying." Black Mist suggested.
"He can handle himself!" Astral said.
"Coming from 'Mr. Smarty-pants.' " Black Mist taunted. Black Mist and Astral are bumping heads as Yuma snapped. "Cut it out you two!" Yuma yelled.
His loud voice causes the other students to look at Yuma. Yuma saw the students looking at him like he is crazy and the teacher glared at him for interrupting the class.
"Sorry..." Yuma said, as he looked down with assumed and embarrassment. Yuma make a quick glare at Black Mist and return to his studying. Sota looked at him as well. Black Mist turns his head and huffed.
Sota is hoping that Black Mist can calm down and loosen up.
Yuma, Sota and the others are having lunch but Yuma and his friends are far away from Black Mist. They always look back to make sure he doesn't do anything funny. Sota is the only one to stay by Black Mist side.
"Why, are you doing this?" Black Mist said.
"Hmm. I just feel like it." Sota said. "Plus, it is not fun to be alone." Black Mist sighed. Yuma, Astral and the others still wonder why he is staying by his side.
It is the end of school, Sota, Yuma, Astral and Black Mist are heading home. Yuma and Sota's house is bit father from each other but they are almost living close. When Yuma is turning to get home. Sota kept walking.
"Sota, your house is that way." Yuma said.
"I have to pick up my sister." Sota said. "Oh." Yuma notice that is true. It is farther away from his house. Yuma decide to go with him. Sota and the others keep walking until they are at Gina's school.
"Hi, brother." Gina said.
"Let's go home." Sota said. Gina happily takes his hand and walk with Yuma, Sota and the others.
"So how is your first day of school, Mr. Black Mist?" Gina asks. Black Mist ignores her. Yuma and Astral are not pleased by it.
They went back at the area where their houses are. "We are here now. See you two tomorrow." Sota said. He and his sister wave goodbye. Yuma waved back.
Yuma sighed that this does not distress Sota. Yuma hope that Eliphas has an answer for this problem soon. He wants Black Mist far away from Astral, Sota and his friends. Even it means to destroy him.
It is the next morning and it is early and Yuma is still sleeping. Astral is looking at the morning sun as it is rising for the day. Astral is hoping that the answer they are looking for will come crashing down. He then saw a light that is head to the house.
"Yuma!" Astral shouted. He tries to alarm Yuma about the light. He woke up, but fell out of his hammock. Yuma saw Astral pointing at sky. Yuma panic when he saw the light too.
It landed and causes the ground to shock and some of Yuma's parent artifacts were coming down, but Yuma manage to catch them in time.
"What the heck is going on?" Yuma said. He ran outside to see what is the cause. When he got outside, he saw Eliphas.
"Eliphas!" Yuma said.
"It has been a long time, Yuma." Eliphas said.
"Yes, it has. " Yuma said as he bowed politely. "What are you doing on Earth?"
"Yes, that's right." Eliphas said. He looked at Astral.
"Astral..." Eliphas said. Astral is waiting for what he is going to say.
"I found a way to separate Black Mist and that boy you are talking about."
