Back at Earth, it is has already been a month since the battle against the Lava Howl. Yuma is on his way to Kotori's house to hang out with his friends. It has been a while since he last hangs out with his friends. They haven't had the time since the searching for the elements. Yuma run as fast as he can so he can meet up with his friends. He then arrives on Kotori's house and knocked on the door.
Kotori open the door. "Yuma, you are here." Kotori said with a smile. "Come on in." Yuma went inside and saw the girls: Cathy and Rio.
"Where are Tetsuo and the others?" Yuma ask.
"Tetsuo is babysitting a kid, Caswell is studying for a big test soon and Flip has a toothache from eating candy." Kotori said.
"Not to mention, Kaito and Shark think this is a bother." Rio added.
"So, it a girl's day." Yuma sighed. He is depressed now he is the only boy except Astral (even he is genderless, I call him a male).
Then, there was another knock. Kotori opened the door and Sota is at the door.
"Hi." Sota said. Black Mist is behind him but he turned his back on them.
"Sota, you're here." Yuma said. He is relieved that he is not the only boy here. Yuma looked at Black Mist.
"Hi, Black Mist." Yuma said to him. Black Mist looked at him but he turns around again. The girls are surprised that Black Mist didn't ignore him like last time but it isn't paliet that he didn't say anything.
"Let's have snacks. I will go get them." Kotori said. She went to the kitchen to get away from the awkwardness. "So, what is going on?" Rio asks.
"Well…" Astral said. Astral told the girls about the events that are happening in the last few months.
"So, you try to break the spell that ties to Sota and Black Mist because not only Eris is targeting Black Mist but she also want to revive Don Thousand." Rio said.
"That's right." Astral said. Rio took a deep breath to put it in her head. "Ok, I heard things from Shark but I didn't expect it to be this deep." Rio said.
"Yeah. That is trouble," Cathy said.
"So, have you meet Eris again after that water planet?" Rio asks.
"No…But something is strange about what she is after. She went and grabs Shark but she got his blood. I don't know what she's after. But I know that she is planning something. I wonder what it's…" Astral said. There was a pause.
'Does it have to do with Don Thousand's revival Astral thinks that Shark's blood is somehow involve.
"I got snacks." Kotori said as she went in and put down cakes and juice for the others.
Rio wants to know something and she turned to Sota. "I heard that you try to be friends with Black Mist. Is he evil?" Rio pointed. Black Mist heard that and is annoyed by it.
"Not really." Sota said. The girls blinked. Black Mist looked also to see on what he is going to say. "He is teaching me dueling. He is not so bad. I think he is more of a lone wolf kind of person." Sota explained. Black Mist snapped.
"I do not!" Black Mist said back.
"Come on, what else would you do to get friends." Sota said with a smirk in his face. " I say if you have gone out more, talk to them and play with them. Maybe you can have more friends."
"You little brat." Black Mist has an angry and annoyed look on his face "I will murder you!" Black Mist threatens him.
"Ah, come on buddy. I know you want a friend." Sota said with an innocent voice. "Do you want a hug?" Sota spread his arms as he want to hug him.
"Get away from me!" Black Mist said as he floats away from Sota.
Yuma, Astral and the girls looked at this little argument.
"….hehe…" Yuma started giggling until he starts laughing even harder. "HAHAHAH!"
The others joined." I can't believe it. You two are acting like kids." Kotori said as she laughs.
" You are evil, Black Mist but I didn't know you are a comedy person, hahahaha." Rio said.
"I thought I never see the day when you are acting like a child. You two are great together." Astral said. He tries not to laugh but he can't help it.
"You two are a cat's me-ow." Cathy said.
"Really, we are?" Sota said. Black Mist and Sota look each other in the eye.
"I don't see." Black Mist said.
"Me neither." Sota said back. Black Mist and Sota's argument really made their day. It takes awhile for them to stop laughing.
"Alright, we should have fun before the day ends." Kotori suggested. Everyone start continuing having their hang out.
It is the afternoon and they went outside and look at the sun.
"It is a beautiful sunset." Kotori said. Yuma nodded as they continue looked at the sun. It reminded him of Astral and Yuma looking at the sun or the moon and stars at the top of his roof at home. He really enjoy those old times.
Sota took a deep breath. "It is really nice to have great friends. My past friends can't stand me for being me." Sota whispered.
Yuma heard Sota. "What do you mean?' Sota gasped when he realize what he said. He wished that he didn't open his mouth. "Tell us." Yuma demands. Sota looked at Yuma as he can tell that Yuma wants to know.
"Yuma, you shouldn't pressure him. If he doesn't wan-" Kotori is starting to lecture Yuma until…
"I don't have friends when I was a kid. The only people that except me for how I am are my little sister and my parents." Yuma and the others are shocked that he didn't have friends.
Kotori and Cathy think that he talks a lot and is loud but similar like Yuma. "I try to be like the others but they are bad natured so I didn't make friends." Sota explained. Those people think that they are better than everyone else. So I distance himself with those kinds of people. But when I heard Yuma attend to the school that I am in now maybe I can finally make friends. It isn't fun being alone." Sota said.
Yuma, Astral and the girls didn't know that Sota has a hard time. But he is so cheer all the time but there is sadness behind that.
Sota took a deep breath to calm down. "I guess it is just hard to be myself and people judge me for that and never got the chance to know me." Sota has a sad look on his face.
"I don't know why you have to be something that you are not." Everyone looked and saw Black Mist talking. "They are just brats. You can be you when you are with us. It is not bad being you. People like you for how you are. Just be yourself, that is what I say." Black Mist added.
Yume blinked. " Wow, those are good words." Yuma said. "You two are great together."
Black Mist glared at him. "When I get free, I will struggle you." Black Mist said with a threat.
"Yeah, yeah. " Yuma said. Yume knows Black Mist doesn't mean that. He just said that to hide his embarrassment. Yuma and other are surprised on what Black Mist said to Sota. They think that something is growing inside Black Mist that he didn't know of. Is it friendship?
'Are you finding something more important then your own goals of taking over the world?' Yuma thought.
Sota narrow his eyes when he saw something. "Guys, look a star." Sota pointed at a shooting star. Everyone looked and amazed on how beautiful it is.
"Wow, it is pretty." Cathy said. Till a little while. "Does it look like it is getting closer?" Rio said. She thinks that the star is getting closer.
Now she mentions it. It does look like it is getting closer. The star is getting closer and brighter.
"Out of the way!" Astral warn them. The other got out of the way until the star crashed on the ground.
It was a close call. The star almost hit them. They then heard a voice. "Oops, looks like I am off course of landing." The voice said. When the dust cleared up, it was Eliphas.
"Whoa, where did you come from?" Yuma said. "From the Astral World." Eliphas said.
"You mean that you flew there?" Sota questioned Eliphas. Eliphas nodded. "Wow."
"Eliphas, do you have a reason to be here?" Astral ask.
"The flower known as the Flower Diamond has appeared. It is in the dimension where plants grow everywhere." Eliphas explained.
When they hear that Yuma turn into determination mood. "Astral, we are going, right?" Yuma said. Astral nodded as they start other adventure again.
