Black Mist looked on as he saw his partner, Sota and the others get taken by the slime and disappeared in the ocean. Black Mist then saw something in a distance and saw Yuma and Astral in a Kuriboat. The former Barians came right on quote.
Black Mist fly towards them.
"Black Mist, what are you doing out here! Plus why is the boat in water?" Astral ask. Astral say that Black Mist is uneasy as he question him. Black Mist took deep breaths and finally speaks. "Sota and the others are kidnapped and I don't know where are they." Black Mist answered.
"What?" Everyone gasped.
"I don't know it just happened." Black Mist said. Black Mist shakes his head. " I wish I stop it when I got the chance."
"You are not to blame, Black Mist. We shouldn't stop and feel guilty. We have to find Sota and Kaito." Yuma said. Black Mist nodded.
"Let's start searching for them." Astral said. With their new goal in mind, they start searching for Sota and the others.
Sota feels heavy as he tries to open his eyes. He heard something and saw a shadow figure in front of him. Sota got up and try to run but the figure reach it's hand towards him. With a scream, Sota is up.
Sota see that he is in a hall. Sota put his hand in his head as he feels a bad headache. Sota look around and see a dark and creepy hall. It is full of dust and spider webs (Astral spiders). Sota saw Kaito and the kids still unconscious. Sota shake them to wake up until they start to stir.
"What happened?" Iris asks.
"Looks like that slime drop us somewhere." Sota explain. Everyone finally got on their feet and looked around their surroundings.
"This place gives me the creeps." Elliot said as the kids went behind Sota.
"Well, we must find a way out." Kaito said. Sota nodded and hold the kids' hands at each side. They start to get out of here. It was dark and cramp when they continue walking. There was a light but not too bright to be outside. When they went outside, they saw an ominous looking door.
"Whoa, this is a creepy looking door. You can almost feel the evil energy coming from it." Sota said.
Kaito went to the door and try to open it but there was a shock and knock him behinds.
"Kaito, are you ok?" Sota ask. Kaito got up. "Yeah, I don't know if we can get inside. There is something wrong with this place. We should get out of here."
"Kaito, do you think this is Don Thousand's home?" Sota ask. Kaito looked around. "This could be his home…we have to find a way to reach Astral and let him know that we are here." Kaito said.
"Do you know how?" Sota questioned him. Kaito thinks for a minute and then has an idea. "My Galaxy Eyes Dragon can contact with Mizael's dragon. It can help." Kaito explain.
Kaito looked around. "But looks like this place to blocking the contacting. Maybe I should find a way out."
"We should get out of here, Sota." Kaito said but Sota said something.
"If this place is where the emblem is then Eris will be here any moment." Sota explain. Kaito nodded. "Okay you should stay here. I'll find a way out of here." Kaito explain. "Kids, you should stay with Sota." Kaito said. The kids nodded and Kaito went through the tunnel again.
Sota sat down and looked around. "I hope he find a way out this place…I got a bad feeling about this place." Sota whispered. Sota sit in the floor and wait for Kaito to come back.
Meanwhile at the ship, it has been a half an hour since the others disappeared and Black Mist and the others have no clue where they are.
Black Mist is pacing (or floating) back and forward, as he is being impatient about it.
"Stop pacing!" Mizael shouted in annoyance. Black Mist stops and shot him a mean look. "Hey, shut up!" Black Mist shouted back.
"Hey, stop it Mizael. He is worried about his partner. We are just as frustrated as Black Mist." Dumon said.
"Yeah. You're right..." Mizael said. "I just don't know where they are..."
Meanwhile, Kaito is still running through the hallways to get outside. He then sees a bright light ahead. "That must be it." Kaito said as he picks up speed. He got out of the opening.
Kaito looked around and see that he is in an island and there is an ocean above them similar to the ruins of Shark's palace.
"I didn't explain for us to be here. Why would that slime being us here?" Kaito wonder. Kaito notice there is a dark shadow coming and decide to hide behind large rocks and he looked when he stared hiding. He saw Eris!
Eris looked at the cave that she looked. "So this is Don Thousand's hide place." Eris said. Kaito gasped quietly as he heard her. She smiled and said, " At last, our master can finished what he started." Eris went inside the cave.
"What is her connection with Don Thousand?" Kaito wonders. He then saw something in his pocket glowing. He checked and saw his, Galaxy Eyes Dragon is the source of the light.
"Is he trying to contact someone?" Kaito wondered.
Meanwhile back at Astral's ship, Mizael's pocket is glowing. He took the card out of his pocket and saw his dragon card glowing.
"What is going on?" Dumon ask Mizael.
"It's Kaito. His dragon is contacting mine, so it senses where the others are." Mizael explain.
"Well, let's go." Yuma said. The dragon card continues to glow as Mizael navigate the way with the dragon's guidance.
Later, Sota and the kids are waiting for Kaito to return, but didn't heard anything from him. Sota is uneasy about this place and it gives chills on his spine. He wants to get out of here as soon as possible.
Do you think we can open this door?" Elliot asks.
"No! Don't go near it." Sota said. He tries to reach for Elliot to get away from the door, but he tripped on a rock.
Woah!" Sota shouted and his hand touched the door. The door started to glow and it started opening very slowly.
Sota's eyes turn big when it is completely open. "How did I do that?"
Elliot and Iris looked at the other side and see it is really dark. "Maybe that is where the treasure is. We should go in." Iris said. Iris went inside the room.
"HEY, get back here!" Sota shouted as he ran after him. Elliot follows Sota as well as they entered the unknown.
Eris and Don Thousand's shadow finally arrived in front of the gate and saw it open.
"What!? Why is the door open?" Eris wondered. "Master, what is going on?"
Don Thousand didn't say anything as he looked at the door. "..."
"Maybe it those brats. I have to hurry before they stole the Emblem of Chaos." Eris starts entering the door. Don Thousand disappeared. "..."
Mizael and the others followed the Number and they are now at the middle of unnatural water. It has a huge dark blue.
"What is that?" Yuma ask.
"It is most likely an underground cavern. We found them." Astral said.
"Okay, so how are we going get in there?" Yuma ask.
"That's easy. Both Galaxy Eyes Dragon and Dragluon will create a path for us to enter." Mizael said. The dragon went near the gang and then start to shine. The ray of light shot to the underground cavern and the light hit Kaito's card and then the gang was teleport to the island.
"You guys made it." Kaito said.
"Are you guys alright?" Yuma ask.
"Yes, we are but..." Kaito was about to continue but was interrupted.
"Where are Sota and the kids?" Black Mist asks.
"That is what I'm about to tell you. Eris has arrived in the island and we need to go there now!" Kaito explained.
The gang gasped. "Lead the way, Kaito." Dumon said. Kaito nodded and they went back inside the cave try to caught up with Sota.
Sota, Elliot and Iris are walking as they looked around. The place is like a maze, fill with dust and spider webs with weird looking spiders crawling on them.
"It is so dusty in here. It looks like no one was been here for a long time." Iris said.
"This place is creepy." Elliot said as he clings on to Sota's shirt.
"What do you think, Sota?" Elliot asks him, but he is space out as they are walking.
"Sota?" Iris asks. "SOTA!" The kids shouted again, but he kept going as he went to turns in the maze without telling them. The kids try to keep up with him.
Until they are out of the maze, they are at a huge room full of books and desks.
"Sota!" Elliot yelled.
"Uhh?" Sota said. Sota looked around. "Where are we?"
"What are you talking about? You walked us here and looks like you got us out of the maze." Elliot explains.
"Really?" Sota ask.
"Sota? Have you been here before?" Eris asks. Sota is not so sure. This is the first time coming here, but he knows how to get out. How did he know how to get through this place? Sota is feeling uneasy about this sense of déjà vu.
Sota and the kids continue to look around try to get out of the library. Then Sota saw something that caught his eye. He walked to it and saw an item sitting on the pedestal. There was something sitting there. It has a red gem in the middle and a strange shape.
"What is this?" Sota wonder. He reaches for it until a shadow went under his feet and cause him to trip
Sota and the kids looked and saw a shadow and Eris!
"Eris!" Sota said.
"So you manage to get through the barrier protecting this place. I don't know how you get here, but I will finish you off and this place will be your grave." Eris said.
Sota brought out his ace monster. "Attack Eris!" Sota commanded White Maiden Sorseress. She wand her staff wand and attack her, but she use a dark shield to block it.
"I won't let you." Eris took out her card and brought out two cards: the one that was used at the beach and another monster that looks like a knight. It has a dark armor and a helmet, but it doesn't show its face. It has red scary eyes glowing in the helmet. The attack points for both of them are 3000 and defense points are 2000.
"Poison Witch and Chaos Knight! Smite that monster!" Eris said as the monster start ganging up on White Maiden Sorceress. The maiden try to dodge, but was cut out by Eris' monsters are they swing their weapons and magic at her.
White Maiden Sorceress try to dodge, but the monsters knock her down.
"White Maiden!" Sota shouts with concern. Eris smiles, as she knows Sota is alone with any help.
"It is time to say goodbye to your monster." Eris said. Her monsters charge up their attack in full force to destroy Sota's monster.
"Stop!" Sota pleaded.
Then, there was dark shadow absorb the attack. Eris and Sota looked and saw Black Mist and the others.
"Black Mist!" Sota said with relive.
"Damn, you meddling insects are here." Eris said in disgust. "Get away from Sota. No one bullies that kid, but me." Black Mist explains.
Yuma and Astral looked at that familiar shadow. "Don Thousand, I never thought we would meet again." Astral said.
"HAHAHA! It has been a long time. You two haven't change much. I see you got one of my pawn to working with you." Don Thousand said. Black Mist is annoyed by called him a pawn, but he has to take care of Eris first.
"Black Mist, you and Sota take care of Eris. The rest of us will deal with Don Thousand." Yuma said.
Black Mist and Sota agreed and start facing Eris. Don Thousand raised his hand and a barrier blocked
"You two fools will be my first killed victims." Eris said with angry. The monster went back to their masters as they start fighting for the emblem
"Number 96, attack them." Black Mist said. Number 96 attacks them with his claws, but the monsters dodge as they clash. Eris' monsters outnumbered Number 96 and attack it with fierce attacks.
"White Maiden Sorceress, please help him!" Sota said. White Maiden Sorceress got up and went to help Number 96. She uses her magic and got the monsters away from Number 96. She went Number 96's side to help it out.
"Go dark mode." Sota command. White Maiden Sorceress turn into Dark Mistress. She uses her magic to create a black hole. The monsters are going pulled back, but Eris took out a card. "Not so fast! I use 'False Hope'.' This card seals my opponents' attacks."
A star went to Number 96 and White Maiden Scores. An evil creature with devil wings came out and surrounded them in red aura.
"Number 96 use Shadow Gain." Black Mist commanded. Number 96 opens its jaw, but nothing happen.
"No..." Black Mist whispered.
"So it is true that Eris' sealed our attacks." Sota said with a small voice. Sota looked at his cards to find the right card.
"No good. I can't find a card to release the spell." Sota said. Black Mist narrows his eyes at his cards. "Maybe there is a different way." Black Mist said. He brought out a card.
"I never thought I would use this card again." Black Mist said. He brought out a card that has the same emblem as Don Thousand's
"I use Rank-Up-Magic Barian's Force. I use my monster Number 96 and rank up it." Black Mist said.
Number 96 turned into a different that Sota saw in one of Black Mist's past in the spirit realm. It turned into a creature like monster with claws and with flames around its frightening face.
"This should cancel the spell." Black Mist said. "Attack Dark Storm!" The monster uses his flames to burn the monsters.
Eris smiled and brought out a card. "You are a fool to think that using Rank Up can help you here!" Eris says. "I use Chain Terror. This card when it appeared in the field if the monster rank up then I take that card and pull it the terror room." Eris explains.
Chains came out of the grounded and pulled Dark Storm to the dark sphere at Eris' side. "With the card in play it absorb the attack and defense points and add them to my monsters." Eris' monsters got a power up from Number 96. Her monsters are now in 5000.
"Damn!" Black Mist yelled. "Now what?!"
"Attack White Maiden with this power!" Eris commanded. Poison Witch and Chaos Knight got a power boast and Poison Witch use her magic and hit White Maiden and collapsed like last time. Finally, Chaos Knight swings his sword towards Dark Mistress. Sota brought out a card. "I used "Close Ties". I use this card to disable my dark mode." Sota explain
Dark Mistress' shadow appeared in front of White Maiden.
"That won't help you must." Eris said. "Not yet with the dark mode switched it blocks Chaos Knight's attack. With that the dark mode won't be used again in this duel (or fight)." Sota explains.
The shadow stopped Chaos Knight's attack on White Maiden. Eris bit her lip as the attack is cancelled. "You damn insects! I will make you guys suffer as I kill you brats with my own hands." Eris said with a venom tone.
"What are you doing this?" Sota ask. "Why you try to resurreted Don Thousand? You know he is going to destroy this world including Earth."
"You monsters don't get it." Eris said with angry. Yuma and Astral along with Dumon and Mizael are fighting Don Thousand, but they heard the conversation that they are speaking.
"You Astrals have killed my people!" Eris yelled. "When you banished Chaos that don't included Don Thousand, but included me, my family and friends." Yuma gasped when he heard this.
Yuma looked at Astral to see what she said is true. He looked away with assumed look on his face and knew right away that it is the truth.
"When we were banned from the Astral World. We wanted nothing more than the destrustion of the world that rid of us. We want them to feel the pain they cause us. When the battle between Astral and Don Thousand happens. The people of the Astral World attack my family and friends...Thanks to you, I am the only one left to carry the burden of my people!" Eris' voice is full of rage. Sota's heart is aching.
"What would you accomplish for reviving Don Thousand and destroying the worlds?" Sota ask.
"I would love to see the Astral World burn into dust for what they do to my people and make them suffer and I will do anything for Master Don Thousand since he is the one that promise my people freedom. But thanks to you and your friends, that dream is almost destroyed. But I will do anything to make that happen." Eris explains.
Sota's expression darkens as he heard this.
He then heard a small laugh. "Wow, you are not the brightest girl are you." Black Mist was laughing. Eris looked at him with annoyance. "You think that things will get better if you let your master take over, but you don't know his true nature don't you. He is using you and your late comrades to get what he wants. He will threw you away once you serve your purpose.
Eris spitted and has a little 'hehe'. "Do you think I care if I am being used beside even if this is set up I want you people to disappeared after you destroyed my family and friends. I will do anything with Master Don Thousand to get revenge on the Astral World." Eris explained with anger.
Yuma and the others can't believe that Eris is one of the people in the Astral World that was banned and even Astral is surprised that Don Thousand is not the only one.
"You are a fool!" Sota shouted. Everyone flinched when they heard Sota's loud voice. "You know that taking revenge on the Astral World isn't going to solve anything. Once you take revenge, you will have nothing left."
"So what?" Eris said.
"Sota. It is useless. You can't reason with her." Black Mist said.
Sota closed his eyes as he is at a deep thought. "I know... But that doesn't give me a reason to knock some senses on that damn brain of hers." Sota said.
Sota went forth and ready his duel disk as his monster went to his side. He then opened his eyes as the eye colored changed into gold. Black Mist saw Sota is a completely different person.
Don Thousand gasped as he saw the eyes.
"Let this be an eye opener!" Sota yelled as his hand shined in a golden light.
The gang gasped as they saw even Eris is surprised.
"Let this light be the guide to victory. Shining Draw!" Sota channeled.
"Sota..." Black Mist looked in disbelief as his partner has the power of the Shining Draw similar to Yuma and Astral.
Sota used the card that he draws. "I used 'Heavenly Angel'. I used this card to sacrifice my monster to destroy the card that hold Number 96 hostage. White Maiden turning into a bright figure of an angel and attacked the trap card and disappeared.
The trap card scattered and Dark Storm return to the other side. "I active 'Heavenly Angel's other effect when used I draw other card and active it." Sota's hand shined again. "Shining Draw!"
"I active my 'Rank Up Magic: Yin Yang' When one of the DARK or LIGHT type monster is in the graveyard. I revive them." White Maiden Scorches came out of the ground. "With this I overlay Number 96 and White Maiden Scoreless.
Number 96 and White Maiden Sorceress went to the Overlay Network and came out a monster.
"A beauty that decended from the heavens to being back order! Come on out! Goddess Twilight." Sota said. It is a monster with yellow and black dress and a white wing masquerade mask. Her attack points are 2500 and defense points are 7000.
"So a new monster. It doesn't matter. This weak monster will be destroyed." Eris snigger. "I used my magic Joker Wall. If you don't attack both of my monsters than the attack won't do through!"
"Here we go!" Sota said. " I used the Goddess Twilight's effect. I use an overlay and use the effect Shadow Shock. This effect stops the abilities of my opponents."
The Goddess of Twilight raises her hands and cast a white and black shock and hit Eris' monsters.
"What?!" Eris shouted. "Then, those disable magic card added 3000 attack points." Sota explained. Goddess Twilight's attack points are now 5500.
"Goddess Twilight attacks them directly!" Sota commanded. Goddess Twilight start chanting a spell and mysterious words appeared and a white and black wave attack hit Eris and her monsters and knock them back.
Black Mist looked as he saw a battle that Sota never battled before. "Sota, how did you do that?" Black Mist asks. But Sota fainted as Black Mist caught him before he hit the ground. 'What just happened?' Black Mist wondered.
"You..." Eris was shaking trying to get up. "YoU dAMn little InsTects...I ReFUsed tO lOse To yoU..." Eris then show angry eyes as she brought a card a scary, dull scissors for hands and ran really fasts towards Black Mist and the unconscious Sota.
Black Mist looked as the attack almost hit them. A dark shadow appeared in front of them.
"What?! Master Don Thousand! What are you doing?" Eris asks.
"..." Don Thousand didn't speak. Eris is confused why. "Master why?"
"... We are leaving." Don Thousand said. Don Thousand's commanded surprises everyone. He would destroy his opponents until they are died, but not this time.
Eris bit her lip and said, "Fine!"
"Good, take my emblem and let's get out of here." Don Thousand said. Eris nodded and went to the emblem and took it.
"Oh no, you don't!" Dumon said as he and Mizael grab hold on Eris and struggle to get the emblem from her. She then smiled.
She swings the emblem at Mizael's stomach and Dumon's arm, which cause them to bleed. The two backed off and hissed with pain. She collected the blood and disappeared as well as Don Thousand. Everyone is frustrated that they are close for Don Thousand's revival.
Later, at the Astral Tower. Sota start opening his eyes as he woke up.
"What happened?" Sota whispered.
"Sota! Are you okay?" Yuma was next to him as well as Astral and Black Mist are behind him. Iris and Elliot are sitting on the edges of Sota's bed.
"Are you alright, kid?" Black Mist said. Sota nodded.
The kids smiled. "I am glad that you are alright." Elliot says. Iris nodded in agreement.
"I'm impressed that you have created a monster with that kind of power." Astral said. Sota got up and scratched his head. "I am not sure what you are talking about." Sota said with confusion.
"What you didn't know you overlay your monster and Black Mist's monster?" Yuma ask.
"...No. I don't know after Eris said that she is going to destroy the world. I felt something bubbling inside of me and then... I think I blackout." Sota explained what happened.
"What? That is impossible you were conscious during that battle. Did something happen?" Astral wondered.
Sota is questioned until he realized something. "Guys, did you get the emblem?" Sota ask quickly.
Yuma and the others' expressions darken when Sota spoke of the emblem.
"They got the treasure that you are looking for." Iris said. Sota was in shock.
Astral sighed. " And that's not all, they got Mizael and Dumon's blood."
"No..No...NO." Sota repeated. "This is bad. Now they need the last blood of the former Barian Emperors and Don Thousand will be revived." Sota said with anxious.
"Kid, get a hold of yourself!" Black Mist said as he shakes him. "We still have a chance, so shut up and pull yourself together!"
Sota was stunned and started to smile. "Alright, thanks man." Sota said. Black Mist huffed and turns around. Astral and the others smiled knowing that he cared.
Somewhere at an unknown place...
"Master, why won't you let me killed them? If the attack went through then this would be done quicker. Besides you need Black Mist's power to do so." Eris says.
"...Yes, you are." Don Thousand said.
"What?" Eris is confused. "Then, why?"
"... You will know even the time comes." Don Thousand responded. Eris doesn't know what is going.
'Black Mist...Is not the only one we need...We also need him.'
