Sorry for the long wait. But here is a new chapter.
Yuma, Vector, Sota, Astral and Black Mist are in the Dimension Airship. Astral is looking at the location of the last element to free Sota and Black Mist's curse. Some are uneasy for Black Mist being free. Some fear that Black Mist will come for Astral's body, once he is free.
"Vector, where is this place?" Astral ask.
"It is in India. I was looking at some of their temples until I saw something strange, and I think it is something related to the Astral World. I could be wrong." Vector explained.
"Ok, if we found this mark, do you think it would lead us to the final element?" Astral ask. Vector nodded. As they continued to head to their destination, Sota is looking out of the window looking very sad. He knows once the seal is broken, Black Mist and he would have to go their separate ways. Black Mist hasn't talked or annoyed anyone since the element has been discovered.
Yuma looked at them at a sad expression.
Later, Dimension Airship has landed at a land that Vector said. Yuma and the gang went inside the temple and saw something that is really unexpected in temples. It has aqua colors similar to the Astral World.
"This is indeed similar to the Astral World." Astral explained. Astral then saw a writing that Astral is familiar with
'To enter the path in the temple, enter four cards that has the power of chaos.'
"Power of chaos? What does that mean?" Yuma said.
"It means enter monster cards that means put the cards that open the path, dumb kid. "Black Mist said with annoyance.
"You know that power of chaos is important to the Astral World." Astral said. "Which means to enter the temple we need to put Hope. He was a monster created by your power, Yuma."
Yuma is confused, but he took out the Astral's Hope and his Hope: Utopic Future in slots in the wall. They start to glow. "Looks like it worked..."
"But there is still two more and if it is about the Astral World. Don't you think that it also means the Barian World as well?" Yuma asks.
"Wow...you are not dumb as you are." Black Mist said. Yuma looked at Black Mist in an angry look. "Whatever I should put my card in." Black Mist took his Number card and it start to glow also.
"We need one more and I think I know what we need. Vector, you should put in your Number." Astral explained. Vector nodded and put his Number, but it was reflected back out of Vector's hand.
"What? It rejected the card." Astral said. He doesn't get it. Vector tried again, but it no availability.
"Looks like this card isn't the one with the power of chaos." Vector said. Astral, Yuma, Sota and Black Mist are confused why doesn't the card work.
"Let's try a different card." Yuma said as he took the other Numbers, but they don't work.
"What is wrong this doesn't make any sense?" Astral said frustrated.
Black Mist is in deep thought and though of something.
"Sota, can you put your White Maiden in the slot?" Black Mist asks.
"What? Why would that work? I mean White Maiden is a normal card. It can't destroy Numbers. Plus, it is not from the Astral World or the Barian World." Sota said with confusing.
"Come on. It is worth a try." Black Mist said. Sota sighed as he rolls his eyes as he walked to the wall. "You will see it will reject it as we-" When Sota speaking the card fix as the wall started to collapse.
"It worked!" Yuma said with shock.
"That is impossible. I mean..." Sota is speechless.
Astral was speechless for a while until he come to sense. "We should get going." Astral said to the others. They nodded and start walking deeper in the temple.
For a while, they walk through the halls with pretty design and it was spooky with the torches lighting the way. Yuma and the others keeping walking the sound of the footsteps are the only sound they hear.
Yuma's mind is wondering about the wall when it accepts Sota's card. Why did it work and open the wall?
"So-Sota...I wo-onder why does the card worked?" Yuma ask curiously. Sota looked down with a frown. "Honestly Yuma...I don't know." Sota responded.
"I just don't think that my card would work...But it did..."
"Where did you get it?" Yuma asks.
"Truth is told...I have that card as long I can remember. I have in my side in my entire life." Sota said.
"Why did you keep it?" Yuma keeping asking.
"It was a beautiful and I feel like it was a part of me. I don't know, but I also think that maybe my memory might come back if I hold it, but... no luck..." Sota said.
Astral is listening to this. 'Yet...The card has up ranked during the Astral World...I wonder if there is more to that card or maybe Sota...' Astral is thinking. "I just hope nothing serious will happen to the boy...'
They then hit a dead end... Astral and others are confused. "This is a straight line. How are we going to move forward?" Vector said.
"Well, if I know temples. There should be an entrance to get deeper in the temple." Yuma explains. Yuma put his hand to see if there is something that can move. Yuma until he saw something. "This must be it." Yuma said. He pressed it and nothing happened. "That's weird." Yuma is questioning what to do.
"Maybe there is a way." Sota said. He looked and saw another one. "This must be it." Sota pressed it and nothing happened.
Sota scratch his head with confusion. "What is wrong?" Yuma is thinking. "Maybe we have to pressed them at the same time." Yuma suggested. Sota nodded and put his hand to the button.
"Ok, on the count of three, we press... 1... 2... 3!" Yuma and Sota pressed the buttons and the something is shaking. The walls then rotated and took Sota, Vector and Black Mist and other took Yuma and Astral!
They slide down a slide and hit hard on the floor. (Though
"OWWW! That hurt!" Vector yelled. Sota rubbed his back in pain. Black Mist float safely as unusual. "Looks like we are separated from Yuma and Astral." Black Mist said.
"This is going to be a pain. We have to find a way out and find Astral and Yuma." Black Mist said. Sota, Black Mist and Vector start continuing their way through the temple.
Vector and Sota continued their way to find a way out. Sota then heard something.
Sota stopped and put his ear in the wall.
"What's wrong kid?" Vector said.
"I hear... wind?" Sota questioned.
Vector did the same as Sota and hears it too. Vector knocked on the wall and noticed one of the walls hallow. "Sota, help me push this wall." Vector instructed. He and Sota start pushing the wall and moved it out of the way. The gang went to the entrance and notices a light. Sota, Black Mist and Vector know that is the final element to break. Sota has a sweet and bitter feeling in his heart.
"Let's get it and find Yuma and Astral." Vector said. Sota went to the element until a brick under his foot moved. The element was blocked and the room was shaking. There are a couple of the large doors that opened and huge monsters emerged.
They are three monsters in total. The Brotherhoods of the Fire Fists: Lion Emperor, Cardinal, and Tiger King.
"Well, getting the element is more difficult than I thought." Vector said. Black Mist smirk as he brings out his Number 96. Sota took out her White Maiden. Vector brings out his legendary card, Number 65: Djinn Buster.
White Maiden, ATTACK!" Sota said to his monster. She attacked Tiger King, but no effect.
"What?" Sota is confused. "What are you doing, kid? Let me handle it." Vector said. Number 96 attacked the Cardinal and it doesn't even budge. "What is going on?"
Black Mist looks at them. "I don't know, but they would not budge with our attacks."
Cardinal raised his sword and swing at they. They dodge and the sword hit the wall. The rocks went towards Vector and the others. Vector dodges and Black Mist tackles Sota to get him out of harm's way.
"What are we going to do" Sota question the situation. Number 96 still attacking the monsters. But he didn't hit the monster. Lion Emperor attacked with its' fire fists and hit roared in pain.
Black Mist then has an idea.
"Kid, we need to get them to hurt each other. It is the only way." Black Mist instructed. Sota show what happened and saw what Black Mist meant.
"White Maiden pushes away him!" Sota instructed. White Maiden's magic pushed Lion Emperor. It fell down and hit Tiger King.
Vector said with a sadist smile to his number, "Djinn Buster grabs its weapon!" Djinn Buster grabbed Cardinal's blade and swing to the Lion Emperor. It roared in pain.
The gang's cards work hard to make to make them fight each other. "We almost got them!" Vector said.
But the unexpected happened... One of the monsters, Lion Emperor has attacked Cardinal and Tiger King and they are destroyed... as they disappeared they dropped their weapons.
"What!? How!?" Sota is speechless. A monster attacked its' comrades. Lion Emperor went towards White Maiden and the others. He pulled up punches while the monsters barely dodged the punches. But the punches are causing the area to shake and become unstable.
Rocks start to fall above their heads as the a rock hit Vector at the head and bleed…
"Vector! Are you ok?" Sota ask. Vector nodded as he hissed as he is in pain.
"This is getting out of hand. If we don't take out this monster fast than we are going to be buried." Vector said.
Sota looked at the discarded sword and fan. "Guys, do you think we can use those weapons against it?" Sota pointed. Black Mist thinks about it. "Yeah, it just might work." Black Mist said.
"White Maiden, get the fan. Black Mist gets the blade!" Black Mist commanded. Number 96 took the blade, while White Maiden grabbed the fan. "Vector, attack him. I have a plan." Black Mist said. Vector doesn't know what will happen, but he did what he has been told and starts attacking.
Number 65: Djinn Buster attacked Lion Emperor and blocked the attacks. Then White Maiden went behind the Emperor and waves the fan. The fan created flames and hit the Lion Emperor. It roared and tries to attack White Maiden, but Djinn Buster stopped its punch. They continued attacking until Number 96 took the blade and slash Lion Emperor.
They are giving the Lion a hard time to fight back. But Lion Emperor uses a powerful punch that causes them to hit the walls.
"White Maiden!" Sota said in concern. Black Mist bit his lip as the Lion gets close to their monsters.
Lion Emperor raises his fists and starts his punch. But he halted…with a sword pierced through Lion Emperor. Number 96, Djinn Buster and White Maiden hold the sword up and defeated Lion Emperor. The lion's body crumbled and fell into dust. Black Mist and the gang sighed in relief.
There was a rumble on the center of the room and relieved the Heaven's Light- the final element. Sota trembled as he went to the light and it went into Sota's Emperor Key and turned gold like Yuma's.
"Looks like we got the last element…." Black Mist said with a confident smile. He should be happy, but…. 'What is this feeling' Black Mist feels troubled…
"Now that I think about it…how are we going to get out of here?" Vector wonder.
Black Mist and Sota look at each other and realize the situation that they are in.
Suddenley, there was a banging in the walls. Vector and the gang looked and the wall got blasted away. They saw Yuma and Astral with their Number: Hope to destroy the wall of rumble.
"Guys, We find you." Yuma said with relief. Sota and Vector are relieved that Yuma and Astral are alright.
"Looks like you got what you are looking for." Astral said as he saw the new and purified Emperor's Key. Sota nodded with a sad smile.
"Let's get going." Yuma said. Everyone nodded and head out of the temple.
Just as they got outside, a shadow went to the room where they battled the three fire brothers. A familiar figure got the rock that is stained with Vector's blood….
"With this, Master Don Thousand will be revived."
The Dimension Airship has landed at the outskirts of Heartland City.
Black Mist took a deep breath. "I am finally free from the curse of the necklace. Good relief." Black said in an annoyed voice.
"Good...for you, Black Mist..." Sota said. Black Mist and Sota are in an akward silence.
"I better get going. I need to plan my next move." Black Mist said, as he was about to leave.
"Black Mist, wait" Sota said. Black Mist looked at Sota. "You don't have to do this."
"Why?" Black Mist questioned.
"We are friends, right? You can pick a different path." Sota pointed. Black Mist sighed. " I can't, Sota. I have to do this."
Yuma and Astral know that he is after Astral's body. Yuma make sure he is ready for a battle to defend Astral.
"But why do you need it so bad?" Sota said.
"I don't know. But I feel... incomplete." Black Mist said.
"But going after Astral will not help anything!" Sota shouted. Black Mist tightens his fists.
"How would you know you are a person with no past? How would you know how I feel? You damn brat." Black Mist said.
Yuma, Astral and Vector gasped.
Sota's face is red with rage. "Black Mist...you fucking idiot! You will never be complete and you will never will!" Sota shouted as he dashed out.
"Sota!" Yuma said with concern. Sota keep running. Yuma was boiled when he turn to Black Mist. "What is your problem!?"
" Nothing. I will retreat for now. I am coming after you, Yuma. Astral." Black Mist said. Black Mist then disappeared into thin air.
Yuma and Astral are stunned with the two. They did nothing and head home.
Meanwhile. Eris created a strange signal as well as a cloak. She started chanting and dropped all the Barians' blood on it. The cloak started to glow as a figure appeared under the cloak. It was a wrinkly old man that has eyes of a demon.
Eris smiled and bowed.
"Welcome back, Don Thousand." Eris said.
Don Thousand smiled. "You done well." Don Thousand look at his form. "But I am not complete..."
"Yes, I know. We need Black Mist." Eris said.
"No, not just him." Don Thousand explained. Eris tilts her head in confusion.
"We need that boy."
