At the weekend, Yuma is at his home. It is sunset outside and the day will soon come to an end. He is laying on his hammock as he is thinking. ... Yuma is thinking Sota's and Black Mist's argument yesterday. They were getting along so well. Yuma is remembering the pained looks of Sota's and Black Mist' faces. Astral then appeared beside.

"Yuma, are you okay?" Astral ask.

"I am just worried." Yuma said. "They were doing so well." Astral nodded in agreement. "Yeah…This is the first time I saw Black Mist like this. It is almost like he wanted Sota to hate him."

"Because Black Mist is realizing that Sota is more important than he despair for power" Yuma said. Astral nodded. "We should find them, before they are hurt even more." Astral suggested.

Yuma nodded and got out her Z-Gazer. He starts calling. "Yuma, what are you doing?" Astral ask.

"I am going to call Sota." Yuma explains. He called, but no one called. He keeps trying again and again.

"What is going on!?" Yuma wonder. He tried one more time. This time they got an answer, but it is not Sota. It is her mom.

"Hello. Yuma, hi." Anna answered. "Hi, is Sota with you?" Yuma asks. "No, sorry, but we have to call you back." Anna said in a panic.

"What's wrong?" Yuma asks. "Sota is missing." Anna answered.

"WHAT!?" Yuma shout in shock. "How long was he gone?"

"He was gone since yesterday." Anna said.

That was the time he and Black Mist argued and split up.

"Don't worry I will join the search." Yuma said.

"Thank you, Yuma." Anna said. They both head outside. Yuma went running and try to find Sota.

Yuma looked around the streets, but there are a lot of people that it is hard to find the person that you are looking for.

Sota!" Yuma shouted. Yuma shouted and brought attention to Kotori, Tetsuo, Rio, Ryoga, Cathy, Tokunosuke and Takashi.

"Yuma, what are you doing?" Kotori asks in confusion.

"Sota is missing." Yuma explains. The gang gasped as he heard of the news. "Do you have an idea where he might be." Takashi added.

Yuma isn't sure where he might be.

Astral then has an idea. "Yuma, I think I might know where Sota might be." What? Where?" Yuma asks Astral.

"He might be at a place where he wants to be alone." Astral said.

"I don't know…. wait…." Yuma wonder. He starts to run. "Where are you going?" Tetsuo asks.

"I think I know where he might be." Yuma said as he continues to run. Astral is about to follow him, until he stops.

"Astral, what's wrong?" Yuma ask as he stopped. Astral looked up and saw someone familiar at top of a tall building.

"Black Mist." Astral said. Yuma's eyes wide up and others are in shock.

"I thought he left Sota after he is free." Cathy said. "He did, but I think he is still sticking around…." Astral explain. Astral is looking as he is thinking until he turns to Yuma. "Yuma, I want you to look for Sota. I am going after Black Mist."

Yuma gasped. "No! Astral, I won't let you go alone. He is after your body. Even if he is no longer with Sota, I still don't trust him!" Yuma said.

"I know, but I can handle him. I need to have a chat with him." Astral said. Yuma is a loss of words. Yuma nodded. "Okay, I trust you."

Astral nodded. "I will go with Astral." Ryoga added. "Me too." Rio added. Yuma start running with Tetsuo, Kotori and the rest following him. Astral, Rio and Ryoga went after Black Mist.

At Yuma's area, he is at the edge of the harbor where Sota lost his memories. Yuma saw a picture of the harbor that Sota drew as a child. It is also the same area where Yuma and Astral final battle with Mr. Heartland.

He saw Sota and he is hugging his knees as he is looking at the sunset.

"Sota!" Yuma and others shouted. Sota looked. "Sota, why are you here?" Sota looked back at the sunset in silence. Yuma then went and sit down next to Sota.

"It must have been rough to have one of your closest friends leave you like that." Yuma said.

"Yuma…Black Mist never say me as a friend. I think he never wanted me as a friend." Sota said in sorrow.

"What are you talking about?" Kotori said. "He looked happier when he is with you.'

"YEAH! I saw that too." Tetsuo said. "Yeah." Cathy, Tokunosuke and Takashi agreed.

"But…" Sota said. Yuma hit him in the shoulder. "Hey! Why did you do that?"

"Sota, you just can't give up. He just stubborn as an ox. You just got to tell him how you really feel." Yuma said.

"But what if he says no." Sota sighed.

"Then keep on going until he comes to understand your feelings." Yuma explains.

"Do you think so?" Sota ask.

"Yes, it is true." Kotori said. "Sota." Sota, Yuma and the others listen for what Kotori going to say.

"You see, Sota. Yuma was stubborn when he and Astral first meet. He and Astral fight and disagree and never have the same ideals in card games at first. But even they are different, they become the best of friends. When they are together, you can see that they became the perfect team. They would do everything just to protect one of other."

Yuma smiled and remember those times with Astral. Its beings a smile of his face.

"Same thing to Ryoga, he went to a different path, but Yuma went to save him even he was villain. But with his determination. Ryoga know the errors of his actions. Kaito is a loner, but with him saving Kaito's father and brother, they became comrades as well as friends. So Sota, don't give up on your friendship on Black Mist."

Sota looked at sunset and smile a little. "You guys are right." Sota got back on his feet. "I am going to Black Mist." Sota said with determination. Yuma smiled," Yes, let's go."

"Sorry, Yuma. But he is staying."

Yuma, Sota and others heard a voice looked. Yuma gasped, "You!"

At the other side, Astral, Ryoga and Rio are going after Black Mist. Astral saw Black Mist floating around town like he is looking for something or someone.

He then saw him. The first place when Tetsuo and Black Mist battle to free Yuma and Astral from Black Mist's control.

"Black Mist!" Astral called to him. Black Mist stop when he heard Astral. He turned and saw Astral with the Barian siblings.

"Astral, what are you doing here?" Black Mist said.

"I would say the same about you." Astral said with his arm crossed.

" I... just trying to think...my plan of attack. That's all." Black Mist said calmly. But Astral knows that he is lying.

"Black Mist, I mean it. Why are here and not somewhere else. Normally, you go somewhere." Astral said.

"Why for you? I want to get your body." Black Mist answered.

"But why?" Astral said.

"So, I can have the power." Black Mist said. "You may have great power of the Numbers and access power of the Numeron Code. I am going to be a god all the universe"

"….." Astral listened. "Are you sure that what you wanted."

"What do you mean?" Black Mist said as he looks at him in angry.

"I am saying that even if we join bodies. You can never feel complete." Astral said. Black Mist's face got visible angry. "Don't you see that power isn't what you wanted. It is something else."

"You. You don't understand! I could you understand!" Black Mist yelled. Black Mist flew fast in front of Astral and grab his shoulders.

"I AM TAKING YOUR BODY!" Black Mist yelled. Ryoga and Rio start to get their cards to fight Black Mist.

But nothing happened.

"Wby…why...? I… I" Black Mist whispered.

"Black Mist, you are hesitating." Astral pointed. Black Mist let go of his shoulders.

"I don't know why I am doing this. I just…I thought with the power of the Numbers I can do anything...but...I don't know anymore." Black Mist said.

"It comes to show that it isn't power you are after." Astral said. Black Mist is in despair. "Than what do I want?"

"Black Mist, you need to know that for yourself. It took me a lot time for me to figure what I want or either what I need..."

"Need?" Black Mist said.

"Yes, I found it and I want to protect him…" Astral said.

Black Mist is confused, but the thing he wants to protect is Yuma. A person that goes through thick and thin. They stand side by side no matter what. Black Mist felt like he can never have that thing he is looking for.

Astral put his hand on Black Mist chest. "You will realize it soon."

BOOM!

There is a loud side at the others side of the city. You can even feel it underground. Rio gasped and looked at the side.

"Astral! Ryoga! This presence! It's Don Thousand!" Rio explains.

"What!?" Astral said in shock. "What is he doing here?"

"We will find out once we get there." Ryoga said. "We should get going."

Ryoga and Rio start running to go to the direction of the exploion . Black Mist froze.

"Black Mist. We have to go. I need you to stay close since you are a piece of Don Thousand, we don't want him to be more powerful." Astral said.

"…Fine. I'm coming…" Black Mist said. Black Mist and Astral follow the siblings.

"So, what is going on, Rio?" Ryoga ask.

"We have to hurry. Yuma and the others are at that direction. Also…Sota is there." Rio explains.

Black Mist's eye wide opened when he heard Sota's name.

Yuma, Sota and the others are knocked down to the ground.

Yuma go up. Yuma saw Don Thousand. He looks different than his other appearances.

"Yuma...It has been a lot time." Don Thousand said.

"Don Thousand!" Yuma said. Kotori is in shocked to see him again. Tetsuo and Tokunoskue shivered as they know of the power that he possessed. Kathy and Takashi are on guard. Sota got up. "It's him..."

"Master." Eris said as she appeared.

"Don Thousand, what are you doing here?" Yuma asks.

"I am picking up small pieces of me." Don Thousand said.

Yuma knows what he is taking about.

"Black Mist is the one you are after."

Don Thousand chuckled. "True, but there is someone else I am picking up."

Yuma is confused. The others are wondering what else he wants.

Don Thousand pointed his finger…at Sota! "I came for you, Sota!"
