Sota is shocked and confused. Don Thousand is after him.

"What?...why?...WHY!?" Sota whispered.

"You see.. Sota…you are a piece of me." Don Thousand explain. Yuma paused as he is shock to heard those words, but no more shocked as Sota.

"What do you mean I am a piece of you!?" Sota ask with shock and rage.

"I have created you when I was defeated by Yuma and the others. I give Shark the last of my power, but not until I made a piece of my essence. You were here. In order to be complete again, I need the blood of all the former Barian Emperors, Black Mist, my former piece and you, Sota. You are made to be my vessel." Don Thousand look at his old wrinkly hand"My body is old and weary because of the blood of my previous power, so I need a stronger and younger body. That is why you exist to be my new vessel."

Sota is shocked of his existence and what was his purpose in the first place. Sota is so shocked, he went on his knees in shock.

"Now it is time to except your fate." Don Thousand said. Yuma went in front of Sota between Don Thousand's vision.

"No.. He is not going with you. Not for me to say about it." Yuma said. He brought up Hope and his Gagaga monsters in the field. Kotori and the gang being out their monsters out as well.

"Sota…We will protect you." Kotori said to Sota. Sota looked at them at lost eyes. He is in a state of confusion.

Don Thousand fist his hands. "You better not get in my way!" Eris is about to go forth, but Don Thousand rise his hand. "Stop…I will take care of them." Don Thousand brought out his monsters to fight. He brought out the Fake Numbers that the previous Fearsome Four of the Dark Dueling World had.

Meanwhile, Rio, Shark, Astral and Black Mist are continuing to the direction where the darkness is gathering. "I sense darkness and it is strong just like when I fought Vector." Rio said. Rio shivered when she remember that horrible battle.

"We have to hurry!" Astral said. They start to hurry.

Takashi and Tokunosuke are knocked behind and passed out. Sota looked as he saw his friends protecting him and fighting Don Thousand. Cathy, Tetsuo and Kotori are having a hard time to fighting him. Yuma is better than the others, but he is still try to fight him.

Don Thousand is getting tired of this. He wants to get Sota and go after Black Mist. He want to get this done fast. He got the Jellyfish monster to attack Tetsuo's monsters and they look like in pain.

"No!" Tetuso watch in horror as his monster collapsed one by one.

The cicada monster is cause Cathy's monsters to attack Cathy instead. Cathy dodged thanks to his cat like skills.

Kotori is trying to fight back the Ninja mosquito. But it is proofing too much for her. Her monsters are having hallucinations and can't fight properly.

Yuma is good at fighting back the Fly Number. Yuma knows that his friends are having a hard time. Yuma has to take care of the Numbers and help the others.

"That's enough! I am in a hurry! " Don Thousand said. "I used my card "Blades of Death" with this card. I am going to destroy every last monsters. The blades pierce the monsters and halt the monsters into place. The Barian Monster Bugs destroyed their monsters. It send Kotori and the others flying backwards and knocked out.

"Kotori! Cathy! Tetsuo!" Yuma yelled in concerned with his friends. Sota looked at the floor with his knockout friends. "Why? Why protect me? I'm a piece of him?" Sota whispered.

The Fly Barian is about to destroy Yuma's monster than someone went in front of Yuma's Gagaga monsters and repel the attack. It knocked the Fly Monster back.

Don Thousand looked and laugh amusing. "So you are here, Astral."

Astral is next to Yuma with Hope's shield protecting them.

"Astral." Yuma said with a smile. Astral smiled back. "We came just in time." Ryugi and Rio went to send out their Royal Numbers.

Black Mist went to Sota. Black Mist saw Sota in a state that he couldn't imagine."Kid, what is wrong?" Black Mist put his hand on his shoulder. "Why…this is a bad twist in fate…" Sota is shaking while he hug his arms. "I am an existence that should't exist in the first place." Black Mist is confused with Sota's mumbling.

"Sota! What is wrong with you?" Black Mist ask.

"Ahh. Black Mist, you are here too." Black Mist looked and see his former self. "Don Thousand..."

"I see you are friends with your other self." Don Thousand said. Black Mist is confused. "Well, you will learn more when you and Sota come with me." Black Mist is ready to attack Don Thousand. "Number 96, Shadow Gain."

"Puppet of Fools!" Don Thousand used a card that cancelled the attack.

"What? What kinda of card is that." Black Mist is confused. The card send out the strings and wrapped around Astral. Then electricity shock him and scream in pain.

"Astral!" Yuma shouted in concern and Don Thousand's face smiled evilly.

"With this card, I can copy a card from my opponent deck." The deck of cards came out of Astral duel disks. The cards flew towards Don Thousand and he took one card.

"I use Number 43: Manipulator of Souls." Don Thousand said. "The aftermath of this trick is to sacrifice two of my monsters"The Cicada King and Stealth Kragen vanished. With the card effect, I can let it use the overlay effect to called in the monsters in the graveyard. The Number use it strings and brought back The mosquito and jellyfish Barian cards.

"With these monsters, they are attacking your Number 39: Hope." The puppet monsters went to Hope, but they were defeated. "What is he up to?" Yuma wondered.

"Here the monster comes." Astral warned the others. Number 43 attacked Yuma and Astral who is now free from the strings.

"Oh no, you don't." Black Mist shouted with his number went to the monsters. "Shadow Gain." It did gain power from puppets, but not the Number 43.. " Tch, whatever. I can destroy this monster."

"Stop that's not going to help!" Astral warned him. It is too late Number 96 attacked the puppets and they reattach. "What!? I can't get rid of them?" Black Mist wondered.

"With the damage I gain from the attack is added to my life points. With that, it is added attack points to Number 43." Black Mist stunned in disbelief. "Attack Black Mist." Number 43 attack Black Mist attack him directly.

Black Mist struggle getting up. "Stop!" Astral shouting to Black Mist. "My puppets it is time." The puppets went towards everyone. "I use 'Sacrifice Orb'. The puppets merge into an orb of light. The orb then went through the Number 96 and disappeared.

"What…just.." Black Mist is confused as well as the others. Then Number 96 began to swell up. Black Mist and others look in surprise. Don Thousand smiled "Boom." Number 96 exploded and the others got caught by the explosion. The Numbers including the enemies got destroyed as well. Yuma and the others are hurt and struggling to get up. Sota try to get off the ground and saw Don Thousand using a card to block the blast. "What happened?…" Black Mist wondered. Astral knows Don Thousands' powers to rewrite people's card and his. "That bastard…"

Eris is shocked and amazed that Don Thousand used his powers to overwrite some cards to his liking. Don Thousand raise his hand towards the others. Sota saw Black Mist floated up. "Black Mist…" Sota said. He start to get up. Don Thousand then hold an orb.

"AHHHHHH!" Black Mist was sucked inside the orb and turn little. "Black Mist!"

Yuma and Astral saw it. "Hey! Let go of him!" Yuma shouted.

"Sorry… This thing has some of my power. I need to extracted every last one of it." Don Thousand saw Sota in a disbelief look. "Sota. If you want your friend then come back to the Astral World. Our meeting will be there." Astral is shocked when he heard his home world. "We will meet again." Don Thousand and Eris went to a darkness portal and disappear.

Sota looked as they are done. "BLACK MIST!"
