BLOOD FEUD

PART 1. IRINA

Irina is over a thousand years old and her family had suffered much over the years. Her mother or the woman who turned her was killed by the Volturi for creating an immortal child. More recently in the present Irina found love with the nomad Vampire Laurent. Then the redheaded Victoria showed up demanding that Laurent do her a favor. Irina would have killed her, but Laurent stayed her hand and left to do Victoria's bidding. He never returned and after a while Irina went looking for him.

Laurent had been killed by the Werewolves living near their cousins. She broke off contact with the Cullens blaming them as well. "How long will you hold a grudge?" Tanya asks.

"They let those Dogs kill Laurent."

"Laurent tried to attack Bella…Bella who is now Edward's mate." Tanya replies. "I feel partially to blame…When Victoria came here I should have killed her."

She sighs, "You are right. Family forgives…I will make peace with the Cullens." The next day Irina runs from Denali, Alaska to Fork's Washington, the trip taking four days. She had to stop only once to hunt. Winter had come and the snow falls, but the cold does not bother Irina. She stops on a cliff overlooking a clearing, about a mile from the Cullens' home when she spots Bella who is now an immortal. To her disgust a wolf is with her and a child.

Irina gasps, as she can see the girl looks human, but is not. The child is immortal and she watches as the girl leaps up catching snowflakes. Then they spot her. The wolf growls and she can hear the girl ask about her. "Irina!" Bella calls.

Irina runs off in a burst of speed and then dives in the water and swims away. Later she rings her wet clothes out and when they are dry puts them back on. She paces back and forth. Part of her wants revenge and the other part is curious as to why the Cullens broke the most sacred law enforced by the Volturi.

"Justice." She says to herself after coming to a decision. The grief over Laurent's death outweighs loyalty to her family. And if the Cullens ask the Wolves to help them resist the Volturi they would be wiped out. She buys a ticket and flies to Italy. She is escorted into the archives by two guards.

"What do you want?" Caius asks. He looks at her, "Hmm."

"The Cullens have done something wrong."

In the blink of an eye Aro runs across the room and grabs her hand, "Allow me my dear." Through physical contact Aro can see every thought someone has had. "Oh my that is unfortunate."

"What is it brother?"

"It would seem the Cullens have made an immortal child."

"That is a crime worthy of death. The Cullens must be destroyed."

"Not all of them brother…They have something I want." He looks at Irina, "Come my dear you must stay and be our guest."

The moment she did it, Irina felt guilty about her decision and sits alone in her room regretting it.

PART 2. WITNESS

THE CULLENS

The Cullen family is Carlisle the Leader, his mate Esme, their adopted son Edward and his mate Isabella Swann Cullen (Bella), Emmett and his mate Rosalie, Jasper and Alice; Renesmee the hybrid daughter of Edward and Bella. Of the Cullens Edward, Bella, Jasper, Alice, and Renesmee have special Vampire gifts. Edward can read minds, Bella a newborn can shield herself and others from the powers of other Vampires. Renesmee can communicate by touch, Jasper can sense and affect the emotions of others. Alice can see things before they happen and it is by her gift the Cullens learn about the Volturi's threat to the family.

Renesmee was conceived and born while Bella was still human. Unlike other immortal children Renesmee ages everyday which is a concern of the family. With the threat to the family Carlisle travels around the world looking for witnesses to testify on their behalf to the Volturi. Before leaving Ireland Siobhan suggest to Carlisle that he go to Australia and ask Xavier for help.

So they divert their private plane to Australia. They check into the Banton Rise Hotel resort. The manager is servant of Xavier's. "James will you contact Xavier and tell him we are in town?"

"Yes Mister Cullen."

When Carlisle and Esme get to their room Xavier is waiting with three newborns. "Xavier!"

"Carlisle."

They hug, "How in the world did you get here so fast…I didn't even smell you."

He points at Bree, "My Mate Bree."

"You! I am glad to see your alive." Carlisle says.

"This is my mother, Luanne, and her mate Erick."

They sit down, "Thirsty…I have animal blood you know."

He waves him off, "No I am fine…" Carlisle looks at Esme, "…Honey?"

"I'm fine thank you."

"So what brings you here my friend?"

He sighs, "The Volturi…" He explains about Edward, Bella, and Renessme.

"Let's fight!" Bree says, "I'm tired of running from those assholes and I have a strong desire to kill that bitch Jane!"

"We can't fight the Volturi." Esme says nervously.

"We want to avoid a fight at all costs." Carlisle says taking Esme's hand.

Xavier sighs, "Carlisle…You know what I can do…The Volturi don't even know about me or Luanne and Erick…It gives us the advantage."

He sighs, "People will get killed and we may lose."

"I will come with you…But promise me if push comes to shove…We fight."

He nods, "We fight as a last resort." They fly back to the states in Carlisle's private jet.

BREE

Xavier, Bree, Luanne, and Erick are introduced to the other Vampires at the Cullen House. The witnesses are Alistair, Amun, Benjamin, Carmen, Charlotte, Eleazer, Garret, Kate, Kachiri, Kebi, Liam, Maggie, Mary, Peter, Randall, Senna. Siobhan, Stefan, Tanya, Tia, Vladimir, and Zafrina. Of the Vampires they meet, only Benjamin, Eleazar, Zafrina, Kate, Siobhan, and Maggie have special gifts.

Bree smiles as Renesmee touches her face and shows her everything she has experienced so far. Then Bree takes Renesmee's hand and they teleport to the roof of the house. "Mom up here!" Renesmee yells.

"Wow!" Benjamin says.

"How far can you…"

Bree smiles, "Teleport."

"Yes teleport…How far can you travel?" Bell asks after she teleports back down to them.

"As long as I know where I am going…No distance so far."

Later Bell pulls Bree on the side. "If I asked you to do something would you?"

"Depends on what it is?"

"If things go wrong will you take Jacob and Renesmee far away."

"No! And I will tell you why. I don't like your wolf friends. They killed my friend Fred…Also I am tired of running…My mother and I ran from my father. I ran from Jane…And if your daughter and he who must not be named run and we lose…They will be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives…My mother didn't show off her gift, because she'd destroy us all with her voice. Xavier can enslave people with his voice…There are many powerful Vampires here…I say we fight."

"If you had a daughter you wouldn't say that."

"No I am a daughter and I have a mother. And I fear what the Volturi will do to her when they learn of her existence."

Bree meets with Vladimir and Stefan away from the others. Xavier, Luanne, and Erick are with her. They talk about starting a fight with the Volturi when they come. "I can control five people at the same time, but not that many…I have tried before." Xavier says.

"Then I get my mother behind them and she can destroy most of them and weaken the rest."

"That's the plan." Steffan says.

"If comes to that." Erick says.
