Since chapter 2 was pretty short I added chapter 3 already. I'd love to hear reviews/ tips or pretty much anything you have to say. I really hope you enjoy this :)

Kara liked this universe. She had this general feeling of excitement and calm at the same time. Her thoughts wandered to Lena all the time like in her actual universe but instead of getting sad she was happy and motivated when she did. Kara was just about to finish her breakfast when Alex opened the door to the apartment.
"Alex!"
"Kara where were you? We wanted to meet for breakfast, remember?"
"Oh shoot, I am so sorry" Kara apologized. She noticed Alex' ring on her finger. She had not yet found out what was different in this universe, but Alex seemed to have married a man.
"Well, don't worry now. I can drive you to CatCo and we can chat in the car" Alex offered. 'Right, because we need to talk' Kara thought to herself thinking of confronting Alex about her husband and her sexuality. "I'd very much like that, thank you."

"Alex, are you heterosexual?" Kara asked directly as they were in the car. She didn't expect herself to be so frank. Alex turned surprised to Kara but then turned back to watch the street.
"I do think so. I mean I have only been attracted to Aeneas ever really." Aeneas. "But it were totally OK if I wasn't. Being gay or bi or whatever does not change you as the person you are" Alex added in a soothing tone and looked at Kara.
"I know" Kara said.
"Well, why did you ask?"
"I just wasn't sure. I think I had a dream about you being gay" Kara answered with the first thing she could think of. Alex laughed.
"I don't think Aeneas would like that!"
"Speaking of Aeneas… where is he?" Kara tried to learn more about this Aeneas who seemed to be her brother-in-law. Alex furrowed a brow. "He told you he was staying in Athens until his mother was better" she responded skeptically.
"Athens" Kara mumbled. "Because he is Greek, right?"
"Because his mother is Greek, yes. Why are you acting so weird, Kara?"
"Just a weird dream I guess" Kara said mysteriously. She lacked the information that differed from her universe and she had to find out what made this universe one where she could stay friends with Lena. Friends... or else...

'Another change in this universe' Kara thought as she found out CatCo was still in possession of L-Corp. She hoped to see Lena at first but then remember the flight she told her about. When she finished work, she decided to visit Lena wherever she was – now that she knew about Kara's true identity. She walked to James' office just to remind herself that James had quit his job. So she flew to L-Corp to ask Lena's assistant where Lena's flight went to. After she found out that Lena's jet had just landed in Valencia Kara took off immediately, heading towards the CEO. Kara had heard that Valencia was a nice city but she had to use her phone to navigate as soon as she reached Spain. Kara landed somewhere hidden and as Kara Danvers, not Supergirl. No one should know that Supergirl was in Spain.

Lena's jet was parked and the L-Corp sign shimmered in the sun. Her phone rang and she was happy to see Kara's name appear. "Kara, what a nice surprise" Lena greeted her.
"The surprise is only about to come" Kara promised. "Please take the official exit" she asked Lena.
"Alright, I will take the official exit" Lena said teasingly. When she passed the passport control she was excited to see what was waiting for her. Stepping outside the terminal doors her eyes immediately caught sight of her favorite person. Kara was standing there among a few other people holding a signed that said 'Lena Luthor'. Lena couldn't help but grin all the way to the Kryptonian. They hugged tightly and Lena still couldn't process that Kara was there. "You came all the way to Spain" Lena said happily. "I came all the way to you" Kara corrected her smiling. Lena tugged Kara to her in a lovely hug. She placed her hands on Kara's waist and smelled her deeply. She truly loved Kara. However she didn't feel like Kara trusted her as much as she trusted Kara. She didn't even tell her she was Supergirl for years. When they parted, Kara noticed Lena's face expression.
"What's wrong?"
"N-nothing. I'm really happy you came" Lena said instead and swallowed her doubts. Kara smiled and took her hand.
"Did you travel alone?"
"Yes, my pilot won't stay. She'll come back when I want to leave."
"Where are you staying?" Kara continued to ask not letting go of Lena's hand. It was a magnificent feeling for Lena. As if she wasn't happy enough Kara opened her hands and their fingers intertwined. One hand holding Kara's, the other pulling her small suitcase Lena happily watched her environment. She had been to Spain before but she enjoyed it every time. Even although she came for a business meeting she considered staying a few days longer as some kind of vacation. Should she invite Kara? As if Kara could read minds she suddenly asked how long Lena was staying.
"Oh, I have planned only two days so far in a hotel… but I am considering an extension. There's no place like Barcelona" Lena answered contently.
"That's nice. You worked your butt off for so long- you should stay longer" Kara advised.
"Have you ever been to Spain?"
"Not really, I flew over but I never stayed."
"Why don't you stay with me? You can always fly back if there's an emergency" Lena suggested suddenly.
"Tempting. But I don't know…my boss is really difficult you know" Kara laughed and gently nudged Lena in the side. Lena grinned and observed Kara's beautiful face. Normally Kara was taller but Lena's heels gave her three extra inches [7.63 cm for my metric friends ahah] which made her slightly taller or about the same height. She enjoyed her view. The blonde wasn't just pretty hot, she was so attractive in all her ways. Lena couldn't exactly explain what it was that made Kara so attractive, if it was her charisma, her authentic laughter, her charming eyes, her heavenly figure, her strength or her extraordinary personality. Lena was torn out of her thoughts when Kara softly squeezed her hand.
"I think I really do" she said.
"You're staying with me?" Lena reassured.
"I- I do. I mean it is very spontaneous…but screw duties I want to stay in Spain with you."
"Kara…that's wonderful but I didn't mean to make you feel obliged."
"I don't. I can call in sick at CatCo and Alex and the DEO will cover for me as Supergirl." Kara stopped and turned to Lena.
"You are seriously considering this?"
"I'm not just considering this- I'm doing this. You said it yourself: if there was any emergency I can always fly back" Kara said.
Lena blushed involuntarily. "Never held you for rebellious, Kara Danvers" Lena grinned.
"Ex-Excuse me?" Kara said and acted outrageous. "I am Supergirl- the greatest rebel."
"Meh, I don't know" Lena mocked her "she is more of the friendly perfect daughter-in-law kind."
The two kept on mocking each other and laughing while walking out of the airport, still holding hands.

"Lena I think I will have to fly back and get some stuff- I mean I don't have any clothes for changing" Kara thought out loud as they entered a limousine.
"Kara, I own L-Corp. I can permit myself to buy my best friend new clothes."
Kara smiled. "Nice to have a sugar daddy" she joked and linked arms with Lena. Lena smirked.
"You can pay me… in another way" she said in a deep voice and laughed. "OH yesss I will" Kara answered in a high pitch. They both giggled.
"Ya no me dije adónde usted quiere ir con su mujer" the limousine driver said earnestly. [=You haven't told me yet where you want to go with your wife]
"Al hotel las arenas balneario por favor" Lena answered. [=to the hotel las arenas balneario please].
Kara admired the business woman sitting next to her.
"Si no le molesta, por favor deja la separación cerrada." Lena asked he driver [=if you don't mind please leave the separation closed].
"Wow Lena, you amaze me" Kara said as soon as they were 'alone'. Lena blushed.
"Come on Kara, you can lift buildings. I can only brag about my moderate language skills from school. And he totally thinks you were my wife" Lena laughed.
"Are you kidding?" Kara said and turned to Lena. "You are the one who I respect the most. You are one of the smartest women- no, persons on this planet. You have achieved so much and you are so good so don't you ever talk anything but tremendously of yourself. I would be so proud if I was your wife."
Lena looked in Kara's eyes deeply. Then she placed a hand on her knee and said "thank you".

On their ride they caught sight of parts of the beautiful city.
"I like it here" Kara said.
"Me too. Nevertheless…you haven't seen Barcelona yet" Lena responded promisingly.
When the limousine arrived at the hotel, Kara was stunned. "We're staying here?"
"Only for two days. Then we will visit Barcelona I thought. I'd like to show you" Lena answered. Kara exhaled loudly, watching her surrounding excitedly. She turned and smiled wide. Then she kissed her on the cheek and got out of the car. Lena couldn't be happier than to spend her days with her favorite alien.
