Chapter Eight
Hermione and Ginny walked hand in hand back onto the dance floor again. Malfoy and Harry were ahead of them talking to each other. Hermione was surprised that they were actually acknowledging each others presence, but Gin didn't give her much time to dwell on the fact.
"I can't believe that you two are officially a thing now!" Ginny said with a mischievous grin on her face, "I never thought it would happen."
"Me and you both," Hermione said under her breath, but Ginny didn't hear.
"Hey Hermione," Ginny said more serious this time lowering her voice so that only Hermione could hear, "I'm sorry about thinking that you did this to just get back at Ron," Ginny said actually looking guilty, "I was wrong, I shouldn't have."
Hermione's insides sunk. If there was a possible way to feel worse about her deceitfulness, it was this.
"I mean it's obvious now you know? Malfoy's crazy about you," Ginny said looking over at Malfoy who was talking to a couple of Slytherins.
Hermione took the opportunity to observe him. He really was handsome, she was growing more and more attached to him. Oh how she wished that was the case. Hermione couldn't tell if anything he was doing was genunie.
"And by the look you're giving him it seems you are crazy about him too," Ginny said with a sly grin.
Hermione blushed being caught starring, "I don't know Gin. There's just so much about me and Malfoy that might not work."
Gin raised her eye brows, "What like blood status? Please, I think that people are getting over that nonsense."
Hermione wasn't as convinced.
Suddenly an arm snaked around her waste, she turned into the embrace expecting to see Malfoy's face. But she was wrong, it was Blaise. Her face instantly grew warm embarrassed that she came in so close.
"Blaise," Hermione said caught off guard, "I'm sorry I thought you were-"
"Malfoy?" He finished for her, "Nope, I'm a much more handsome Slytherin," He said with a wink as Hermione rolled her eyes.
"And a much more humble," She said sarcastically.
He ignored that comment, "Miss Granger, I believe you owe me a dance," He said, "May I?" He said this time a softer nicer tone than before. This was the Blaise she knew.
She looked over at Malfoy for conformation. He was starring at them both with a icy cold look. She felt a involentary shiver go through her spine from the look. However, he did nothing else to stop her.
He offered his arm to her. She looked at it for a moment, hesitant to accept, but then took his arm.
Hermione let him lead her to the dance floor as she glanced to where Malfoy was. His eyes were pierced onto her with a fire. She quickly looked away trying to advert his gaze, but even when she looked away, she could still feel Malfoy's eyes watching them.
Suddenly Blaise took Hermione's hand in his as his other arm slide around her waste.
He then stepped closer to her, too close. Their bodies were pressed together so close that she couldn't even put a thin magazine between them. Hermione's breath hitched.
Blaise smiled down at her, "You really do look beatutiful tonight."
Hermione forced a small smile, "Thank you."
"But if you asked me, I would say you look this beautiful all of the time." He said in almost a whisper.
Hermione's heart picked up a beat. What was he doing? She looked into his facial expression. To her surprise his face was sincere and one hundred percent genuine. Too honest. She was almost more scared of him than before.
"I think you think to highly of me," Hermione said politely.
"On the contrary I don't think I do," He said gently, he lowered his voice so only she could hear, "Can I talk to you about something?"
Hermione eyes grew cautious as she nodded.
"There's a reason I wanted to dance with you.. I feel like you need to know something," Blaise said swallowing hard, he looked over in Malfoy's direction.
Hermione's eyes followed his, Malfoy's eyes were still on them with a fierce power.
"What is it?" She said looking away from Malfoy back to Blaise.
Blaise seemed to tense up, "Malfoy's family has a pretty tight hold over him. He isn't being completly honest with you."
Hermione's eyes furrowed, "What do you mean?"
"Nothing, I just... I just want you to be careful. I know the two of you are getting close and I think you deserve to know Malfoy has a tendency to hurt the people around him," He stated.
Hermione's raised her eye brows, "What do you mean?"
"He uses girls and when he's done with them he throws them away," Blaise said. The last words so fast Hermione almost didn't catch them.
Hermione starred at him startled. Of course she knew it wasn't real, but to hear someone else state that fact almost felt like knife in her chest.
"Why would you say that?" Hermione asked.
Blaise looked back at Malfoy again, "I have known Malfoy for a long time, let's just say he's a good liar. If you don't believe me ask him. And you'll see," Blaise said.
Hermione looked at Malfoy again beginning to question herself. Was this really all just fake to Malfoy? Was she mislead when she thought that they were doing each other a favor?
She turned back to Blaise.
"Why are you telling me this?" Hermione questioned.
Blaise's facial expression softened as he lowered his head so low it rested on her fore head, "Because I care about you."
Hermione's heart stopped. She had suspected Blaise's feelings for her. But now that they were confirmed, she didn't know how to respond.
But she didn't have to.
Malfoy was standing right over them.
"Mind if I cut in," Malfoy said making it a command not a question.
For a moment Hermione thought Blaise was going to refuse. But he grudgingly let go of Hermione's waste and let her hand fall.
"Of course," He said backing away his voice strained.
He turned to look at Hermione one last time. He seemed at a lost for words.
"Thank you," Hermione said.
He nodded taking on last look at Malfoy's stubborn face and left.
Hermione let out a breath of air that she didn't know she had been holding.
She turned to face Malfoy.
"Why in the hell would you let him get that close? He was less that an inch from your mouth!" He said venmously.
Hermione turned cold, "You thought I would kiss him? I just told you I would be your girlfriend, I wouldn't do to you what Ron did to me."
This seemed to calm Malfoy down. He face relaxed as his face softened, "I didn't mean to be-"
"Jealous?" Hermione questioned.
His eyes narrowed, "No, What did he say to you?"
"Nothing," Hermione said still wondering if what Blaise said might be true. What was Malfoy hiding?
Hermione decided that there was only one way to find out his true intentions.
"Look can we talk about this somewhere private?" Hermione whispered.
Malfoy seemed so caught off guard by her sudden change he simply nodded.
He took her hand in his and made his way out of the large group of students dancing. He lead her a different way this time. They went up the stairs and to the right. Hermione kept slient as he lead her through the castle, not bothering to ask where they were going. She suspected that she would find out soon enough.
He finally led her up the stair case that led up the the astronomy tower. They reached the top as Malfoy help her up the last few steps. The stars looked amazing tonight.
As soon as she reached the top she found herself entranced with him. His skin was glowing the moon light as his dark gray eyes looked at her delicatly.
"What did you want to talk about?" He said.
Hermione looked at him amazed. It was as if he was a totally different person when they were alone. She could tell that he was slowly letting his guard down around her. His cold self was almost gone when it was the two of them. But as soon as someone else entered the room she could almost sense him putting a mask on. Making people think that he was aggrogante and ruthless. Hermione was starting to see through his scam, but at the same time, she could feel him hiding something from her.
"Blaise said something to me while we were dancing," She said finally, "He gave me the impression that your feelings for me are fake and not to trust you because you were hiding something," Hermione said choosing her words carefully. If she wanted to find out the truth, she would have to tell the truth.
Malfoy's face grew hard, "What do you think?"
The question through Hermione off guard.
"I... I don't know. I know that your feelings for me aren't real but I don't know why he would think that and say the rest, do you?" Hermione said, the words tasting like vinager in her mouth.
Malfoy's heart renched at the sound of her thinking his feelings for her were fake. But then again her's were to.
"Blaise is only saying that because he told you he has feelings for you right?" Malfoy said. Hermione's eyes must have given her away because he nodded, "I thought as much. It's not the first time he's butted into my love life."
"Why would he say that you hurt people?" She asked.
Malfoy gave a sigh, "Because I have hurt people. In the war I... I did things that I'm not proud of."
"No, not that," Hermione said not wanting to bring up old memories of the war, "He said that you... you used girls and threw them away when you got tired of them, is that true?"
Malfoy's eyes faltered. Hermione suddenly felt sick.
"It is isn't it?" She said in a small voice.
Malfoy felt like someone punched him in the stomach.
"Yes," He said the word coming out as smooth as sand paper.
Her eyes sadened, "Why would you do that?"
He knew exactly why but he wasn't about to ruin what they had. This wasn't like the other relastionships he had. He cared about her, and he didn't want to loose her yet. She was getting to close to the truth.
His expression suddenly grew guarded, "I don't have to explain myself to you."
Hermione's emotions slowly surfaced, "Tell me, what am I being used for? Pissing off your parents? or Pansy?"
His face grew vile as he took a step toward her, "What does it matter if I am? Why don't you tell me what your using me for? Oh wait, I know, to get the stupid weasel back," He bit back, "You are using me as much as I'm using you so don't you dare play that card,"He had hit a soft spot as Hermione's eyes grew less sharp, she didn't know what to say, "Your feelings are just as fake as mine. So forgive me if I don't spill out my feelings to someone who has no intention but to get her old boyfriend back," Said Malfoy. He was so close to Hermione's face that she could now feel his breath on her.
Her eyes narrowed, "Well I'm glad we know where we both stand."
Malfoy glared at her, "Yeah me to."
She looked at him with hurt in her eyes, How could he be so cruel?
He shook his head, "Maybe it's time we end the night, I'd say we've had enough of each other don't you think?" He said coldy as he glared at her.
Without another word he passed Hermione going the opposite direction, loosening his tie angrily as he walked away.
Hermione felt tears forming a the bottom of her eyes, but she forced them back. This night was supposed to be one of the best nights of her life. Just an hour ago Malfoy was asking her to be his girlfriend. She mentally slapped herself. Get a grip on yourself, he didn't like you. He never liked you. He didn't really ask you to be his girlfriend. He was doing it to get back at his family. He doesn't have any feelings for you. It's fake. She felt so foolish. Why in the world did she even slightly let herself believe that Malfoy might actually have real feelings for her? Did she think that some maraculous change came over him? That he would like someone like her? She was a stupid girl.
She decided that it would be best if no one saw her like this. She wrapped her arms around herself as she walked back to Gryfindor tower by herself. She took the hallways that had the least amount of traffic. No one really paid any attention to her, to caught up in their own night. Hermione passed them making it a point to not make eye contact with anyone.
Hermione had almost made it halfway up the steps when she heard someone call out her name.
"Hermione!" A handsome voice called after her.
She turned around coming face to face with Ron.
Instantly she turned back around not wanting him to see him or talk to him.
"Hey hey," He said lightly grabbing her arm stopping her.
She stopped giving him a loud sigh, thankful that she was able to contain her tears so he wouldn't know she was about to cry.
His eyes furrowed as soon as he saw her expression, "What's wrong? What happened?"
She shifted her arm away from him to get out of his grasp, "It doesn't matter."
"Yes it does," He said caringly, "Was it Malfoy?"
Hermione shook her head, "I'm not really in the mood to talk about it."
He looked at her with tender eyes, "I told you."
Hermione looked at him questioning, "What are you talking about?"
"I warned you about him," He said.
Hermione's eyes narrowed, "Don't do that."
Now it was Ron's turn to be confused, "Do what?"
She couldn't believe the nerve of him.
"Don't pretend that your not exactly like him," Hermione said angrily, "Don't think I haven't seen you hurt your fair share of girls, I've seen it first hand."
She tried to get away again but he held her arm firmly.
"Hermione please," He said, "I can't do this anymore, I still care about you."
Hermione couldn't believe her ears. Ron was already coming back to her.
"What?" She said in disbelief.
Ron finally let go of her arm and let our a loud puff of air while he ran his hands through his red hair, "Look I'm just going to come out and say it cause I don't know how else to," He said, his voice went lower, "I still love you Hermione, I always have. I took what we had for granted, I see that now. I care about you and I don't want you getting hurt by anyone else. Please don't keep hating me, it's tourture. I'm not over you and I want you back."
Hermione took a moment to take his words. This was exactly what she wanted all along, so why did it feel like it? She thought she would be so happy to hear these words come out of his mouth, but truth was, she didn't feel that way about him anymore. It wasn't until this moment that she realized that her feelings for Ron were completly gone.
"Ron," She said carefully, "Have you even broken up with Lavender yet?"
His guilty face gave his answer away before he could even say it.
Hermione gave a hard short laugh, "I thought so."
She finally mustered up the courage to tell someone the truth.
"You have no idea how long I've wanted you to say that to me," Hermione said, before Ron got too relieved she went on, "But I have feelings for someone else, I don't feel that way about you anymore. I'm sorry," She said, then she started to get angry, "And from now on, you should probably break up with your current girlfriend before you go hitting on other girls," Hermione said, "I'm not like Lavender. I wouldn't do what you two did to me."
Ron looked like he had just been slapped in the face, "You can't be serious, please tell me that you're not talking about Malfoy."
Hermione looked at him fiercly, "Even if it is, It's none of your business anymore," She said.
Ron looked at her angry, his face growing almost as red his hair.
"I'm going to pretend that you didn't say that and blame this on your temper," He said, "He is messing with your head, can't you see that?"
Hermoine had had enough.
"Look Ron I've had a really long night and I don't want to argue right now so I'm going to bed," She said quickly, ending their converseation abruptly, "Goodnight."
Before he could say another words she practically ran up the stair case to get away from him. Thankfully, he didn't run after her.
She let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding in as she walked almost reaching the end of the corridor. She couldn't believe what she had just done. She didn't expect to say any of that but it just came out. She wasn't sorry for anything. She rounded the corner and wrapped her hands around herself cold from the fall air. But as soon as she did, she bumbed into someone. She was going so fast two strong arms had to catch her fall.
She finally looked up as she looked up into silver eyes.
It was Malfoy.
"Malfoy," She said in awe.
She didn't know what to say, what was he doing here? She felt her stomach do a internal flip flop. Did he hear all of that?
His eyes were filled with amazement.
She swallowed hard. She could see it on his face. He had heard every word she had said. Hermione could feel herself growing small. Would he laugh at her? She tried to make out his expression but Malfoy just looked at her in a blank stare. Hermione started to feel foolish as she stood herself back up.
She was just about to let go of him when suddenly, without saying a word, he grabbed her hand and pulled her down the hallway. She didn't know what do. So she followed him, to shocked to resist him. She followed him almost running to keep up with his pace. He didn't look back or give her any sign of what he was feeling. She wasn't sure what he was doing. Where was he taking her? These corridors weren't familar to her. It was then she realized why. He was taking her to the Slytherin corridors. Her stomach dropped, what on earth was he doing?
Before she had a chance to voice her question, they were already entering the empty common room.
He finally turned around his expression still hard to read.
In a swift suddend movement Malfoy pulled Hermione into his hard body.
The next thing she knew, Malfoy was kissing her.
His mouth tasted like honey to her. His firm lips moving with her soft ones. His hands went to hair, stroking it out of her face. After she finally got over the shock she kissed him back. Her hands ran themselves over his back. She felt his shiver as he responded by pulling her tighter to him.
Hermione pulled away out of breath.
"Wait," She said heavily, "I don't understand, why are you-" She tried to say but he cut her off.
"I heard you talking," He explained quickly, "Did you mean it?"
Her eyes furrowed, "Mean what?"
"That you have real feelings for me," He said swallowing hard.
Hermione's cheeks went red as blood starting to flow closer to the surface. She took a moment to try and make a sentence.
"Well I-I guess.." She tried to say, "Um.. yeah-yes, I mean-" She said fumbling for words but his lips came back down on hers as she spoke the words. Hermione melted into him as he kissed her sweetly, but it ended to soon as he pulled away.
"Hermione I've wanted you," Malfoy blurted out, resting his forehead on hers, "This whole time I've wanted you," He brought her close, "You have no idea how good it feels to finally say that."
Hermione looked at him amazed, was this all true? She couldn't help but feel like a silly school girl as her stomach filled with warmth. Her eyes started to haze over with desire as her eyes went back down to his lips. She closed her eyes softly as she place her plump pink lips on his sweetly. Malfoy didn't refuse as his hands wrapped around her waist.
Hermione felt like she was on cloud nine. His hands were roaming all over her back as he pressed her as close as he could to his body. Hermione descided to do something she wouldn't normally do. She slowly slid her tounge on bottom of his lip as she sucked his swollen lip in to her mouth. Biting it slightly, pulling it towards her seductivly. Malfoy moaned loudly in response. Hermione felt trumpih when she started to feel something hard press through her dress.
Malfoy started guiding her backwards towards the stair case, but Hermione pulled back from him.
"Where are we going?" She whispered softly.
Malfoy gave her a smirk, "My bed," He said huskily.
His mouth kissed hers again greedily as he picked her up easily. Hermione wrapped her legs around his waist letting her dress fall where it may. He never broke their kiss as he did so.
Somehow Malfoy managed to get up the stairs, and open the door to the dormitories without hardly any effort. Hermione hardly noticed as she kept her focus on Malfoy. It wasn't until he was slowly lowering her on the bed that she broke her mouth away from his.
She scooted away from him onto the bed. He followed her onto the bed as he towered over her pressing his body on hers, kicking off his shoes. He egerly kissed her neck. Hermione couldn't help but let out a soft moan. His warm mouth roaming her neck. She could feel his erection all to well through her thin dress. Malfoy must have read her thoughts because he gently thrusted his hips into hers. She let out a even louder moan than before. She couldn't help it, he was so much different than Ron. She was more turned on than she ever had been with him. Everything was so smooth, so effortless.
Malfoy lifted himself up above her face. Hermoine couldn't help but grab his neatly tucked in shirt and pull it out of his pants so she could touch his skin. She felt lifted her hips into him as she let her fingers run over his rippling abs.
Malfoy let out a loud moan of apperication.
"Hermione," He said huskily, "Please let me have you," He said caught up in the moment.
Before she could even respond they both heard voices coming up the stairs. Hermione froze as she looked up a Malfoy worriedly.
He let out a growl, "Damn it."
Hermione eyes grew fearful, "Am I going to get in trouble for being in here?" She said as she pushed herself up.
Malfoy gave her a harsh laugh, amused that she was worried. Hermione's eyes snapped away from the door back to him, how could he be laughing at a time like this? How could they be so stupid?
"If you think your the first girl in the dormitory you sorely mistaken," Malfoy said looking at her with a smirk, "Blaise along with others have all had their fair share of girls in here too."
Hermione grew sick, "How many girls have you had in here?"
Malfoy looked at her sharply, "You really want to know?"
Hermione hesitated for a moment as she nodded her head.
"None," He said honestly.
Hermione's mouth dropped, "You're lying," She said.
He shook his head, "You're the only girl to have ever touch this bed," He said looking down at her lips and back to her eyes making her head spin, "And I never want you to leave it."
Hermione felt her stomach flip.
Suddenly the door flew open. Hermione and Malfoy's eyes snapped to see who it was. Blaise, Goyle, and Crabbe stepped through the large wooden door, they were all talking to each other loudly, laughing at pushing each other playfully.
"She wants me! You guys just wait, she'll come running," Goyle said as they both laughed.
It was then Blaise turned around and saw Malfoy and Hermione laying on the bed.
He froze at the sight shocked.
Crabbe and Goyle looked at Blaise confused until they followed his eyes. Both of their mouths flew open.
Goyle was the first one to say something, "Wow, Malfoy finally has a girl in the bed. That's a first! Sorry we intrupted," Goyle said grining ear to ear, obviously not sorry. He then scanned over Hermione's exposed legs. "But since I'm here we could make it a threesome?" He said with a wink.
Hermione instantly coverd her legs back up with her dress. Malfoy rolled his eyes picking up a pillow and throwing it at him.
"Shut up Goyle," He said as he threw the pillow.
But Blaise just stood there, starring at Hermione. She grew uncomfortable as he made her feel small. He looked ready to kill. Hermione took this as her cue to leave.
"I just was leaving," Hermione said
Malfoy grabbed her hand, "Don't leave," He pleaded.
Crabbe grinned, "Yeah Granger, don't leave on our account we don't mind."
Malfoy sent him dirty look as Crabbe snickered.
"No I think Hermione's right," Blaise said as he glared at Malfoy, "I think she should go."
Hermione could sense that she wasn't welcome, at least not to Blaise. There were sure to be more Slytherins behind them too. She turned back to Malfoy.
"I'm gonna go," She said.
Malfoy stook up, "I'll walk you out," He said.
She shook her head, "It's ok," She turned her back to the boys and faced Malfoy, lowering her voice to a whisper so only he could hear, "I'll see you tomorrow, meet me in the library after breakfast," She said.
Malfoy nodded, "Don't think your getting of the hook, we are finishing this later."
She shivered and stood up, Malfoy followed suit standing up with her. Suddenly, Malfoy kissed her. Making it a point to kiss her in front of Blaise, marking his territory. Hermione willingly let him kiss her as she snuck her tounge in his mouth, gliding on his lower lip.
She felt Malfoy smirk into their kiss.
After a couple of seconds Hermione broke the kiss, "Goodnight," She said.
"Goodnight love," He said lovingly as he tucked her messy hair behind her ear.
Hermione nodded as turned to leave. She walked in large strides to the door, tyring her best to make her way quickly around them. She make the bold decision to look at Blaise. He wasn't looking at her though, he was throwing daggers at Malfoy. He looked so angry. Did he really care that much for her? Why was he so upset? She didn't voice her thoughts, wanting to get out as fast as she could.
Hermione finally stepped out of the dormitories as Malfoy watched her go.
"Your shirt's untucked Malfoy," She heard Goyle said in the background snickering.
With that Hermione fled from they Slytherin tower before anymore Slytherins could show up.
Meanwhile Blaise kept looking at Malfoy in anger.
Malfoy finally got sick of his judging looks, "You look like you have something to say Blaise. You better anyway since you practically chased my date out the door."
Blaise finally gave a scoffing harsh laugh, "What in the world are you doing?"
Malfoy sighed turning back around, "Actually Zabini, for the first time, I'm doing whatever the bloody hell I want to."
Malfoy turned around ignoring him as he started to get undressed.
"I think you've led her on enough Malfoy," Blaise said taking a few steps toward him, "You need to stop before she gets seriously hurt."
"Who says I'm going to hurt her," Malfoy said sharply, taking off his tie opening his dresser.
Blaise looked at him unbelievlably, "In what sencerio does she not get hurt? What do you think she's going to do when she finds out that you and Pansy are engaged to be married?"
Malfoy slammed his drawer shut turning on Blaise.
"Don't you dare say that out loud," He said a new fire coming out in him, "You have no right to say anything about it."
Blaise laughed again, "Why not? This has everything to do with it! You know you're lucky Pansy hasn't told your parents about you fooling around with a, um what would your father call it, a 'mudblood'."
Malfoy suddenly grew vile. He took a few large steps so that he was face to face with Blaise. He drew out his wand and pointed it in his face.
"You call her that again I will not hesitate to hex you into the next century," Malfoy said, so cold that he could have impersonated the dark lord himself. Crabbe and Goyle took an involentary step back.
Blaise looked shocked for a moment as starred at him in disbelief.
His eyes went wide as though a revelation came over him, "No," He said, backing away from him, "Oh no way. You gotta be kidding me," Blaise said, not scared by his threat. He ran his hands through his hair, "You actually fell for her," He shook his head, "Draco Malfoy finally falls for a girl and it has to be with the Golden girl Hermione Granger."
Malfoy finally lowered his wand, his arm falling limply at his side, "I'm not ashamed of it."
"Malfoy you HAVE to end this," He pleaded, "You're both going to get a lot more than just hurt feelings if you don't. Do you even know what Pansy's family will do to if they find out you're trying to break the marriage contract with Granger?"
"I know what they will do!" Malfoy yelled, "I think about it every day."
Blaise looked at him sadly, "Then let her go."
Malfoy finally started to let his emotions get the best of him, "I can't," He said weakly.
Blaise looked at him like he was crazy, "Why not?!"
"Because she's the only chance I have at being happy," Malfoy yelled his eyes becoming moist, "Even if it's only for a couple months."
Blaise finally started to understand why Malfoy was doing what he was doing. He let out a loud puff of air.
"Look, I get how your feeling. I didn't know that you felt that way about her," Blaise said, "But I hope you know that if you really cared about her...you wouldn't do this to her."
With that Blaise turned around and walked out of the dorm, slamming the door behind him as he did so.
Crabbe and Goyle stood there with their mouths hanging open. Not even able to comphrehend what they had just witnessed.
Malfoy looked at them with a cold glare, "What are you two starring out, get out!"
Without another word the two of them left, closing the door quickly behind them.
Malfoy sunk back into his bed as he burried his head into his hands.
His mind was spinning. Of course Blaise was right. Every word he said was true and it only made him more frustrated. He knew what he was doing was stupid. He knew what he was risking even just 'pretending' to be with her. But at the same time, he didn't care. He deserved to be happy, hell he thought he'd be able to get his life back after the war, but no. His parent's had to make a stupid contract with Pansy's family to keep a pure blood line. He didn't get any say no matter how much he protested. He admitted to himself that he only started dating Hermione to make everyone angry. His parents, Pansy, and Ron. It seemed like she and Malfoy both got what they wanted out of their fake relationship. But now that it was real and he knew she was out there, he wasn't sure if he could have anything less.
He knew he needed to tell her, but he was too selfish. He wanted a couple more nights like this one before another bomb was thrown at her.
He sighed running his hand through his blonde hair.
He wasn't going to get any sleep tonight.
