Many stories tend to have happy endings, but that simply isn't reality, there won't ever be a happily ever after. So, why do we want these endings? Our mind naturally wants it, it wants what's best for us. So why did he do it? Why did he make me into this?
Two Years before the train crash.
"He sure loves to bring his work every where doesn't he?" A blond haired woman spoke, she had a riding cop and a tablet to her sides. Beside her was Headmaster Ozpin, he ran the school and was recently getting a visit from General Ironwood.
"Certainly." He spoke as he took a sip from his mug, his scroll beeped indicating someone was coming, he pressed the red button to open the elevator. Out stepped General Ironwood of Atlas, also the current headmaster of Atlas Academy. Behind him was a seven foot tall armored man, he wore green armor with his golden visor reflecting the mirror. He had a magnum on his thigh and an assault rifle on his back.
"Ah, Ozpin! Long time no see, how are you?" He shook Ozpin's hand then he turned to Glynda. "And it has been certainly too long Glynda."
She gave a fale smile. "Oh James." She quickly turned to Ozpin and said that she was leaving, as she left she took a look at the armored man before leaving.
"Certainly, and what might this thing be? New Knight model?" Ozpin took a sip of his hot chocolate and looked at the towering figure.
"This, Ozpin, is a result of the Spartan II program. After the initial fail of the first few test subjects, we found out that children were more capable of handling the augmentations. This is the last survivor of the program, as most were either crippled or killed during the process. John here, being the only one to survive and manage to fully function, he is very lucky. I wish to allow John here to participate in the tournament, he is a one man team and we need to test him against actual living people to see his abilities."
Ozpin narrowed his eyes. "You wish for my students to be training dummies?"
"Not exactly, he'll make sure not to kill your students or leave permanent damage." Ironwood reasoned. "John, why don't you go and try to make some friends, I know you aren't very sociable so this will be good for you."
Almost like a machine, processing the order, he spoke in a monotone voice. "Understood." With that he began to leave, heading towards the elevator and heading towards the library.
Meanwhile with team RWBY
An intense match between Yang, Blake, Ruby, and Weiss could be seen, well not so much Blake and Weiss. They were playing Remnant the game when they were interrupted by Sun and his friend Neptune.
"Ruby, Blake, Yang, Ice Queen." Sun spoke.
"Why does everyone call me that!?" She yelled.
"This is my friend Neptune, he is also on my team." He presented Neptune who smiled.
"Hey there, and I didn't catch your name Snow Angel."
Jaune could be heard yelling 'come on!' but was ignored.
Before she could answer Sun spoke up. "Did you guys hear about the robot?"
This got everyone's attention, minus Neptune.
"Robot?" Ruby asked.
"Yeah, it's green, tall, and very intimidating."
Before more questions could be asked, Weiss spoke.
"Wait, does it have a big gun on its back and a pistol on its right thigh?"
Sun nodded rapidly, as he did this Weiss eyes sparkled like the sun.
"I can't believe he is here! I have to get ready!" With that she quickly dashed off into her dorm to get presentable for the transfer student.
JNPR, R(W)BY, and S(SS)N talked about the "robot" John appeared. He didn't want to cause a big entrance, but he did, and so many eyes were on him. He looked around and spotted teams R(W)BY, JNPR, and, S(SS)N. He recognized the other members of team RWBY because of the letters Weiss would sent him.
John made his way over to the table, easily being taller than the three teams.
"Uhh, hi?" Ruby greeted the armored giant.
It took a few seconds before he spoke. "Hello."
"Hi! My names-" she was cut off by John speaking.
"You're Yang Xiao-Long, the hot headed and close quarters combatant of team RWBY. Members include, Ruby Rose as team leader, Weiss Schnee, and Blake Belladonna. Who I should mention is the daughter of Ghira and Blake Belladonna, both who reside in Menagerie." The table was silent, Blake was shaking, how did he know all of that.
"H-how do you know that?" Blake spoke, fear in her voice.
"Your last name gave it away." John said in a monotone voice. Before anything else could be said, Weiss entered the library and the second she saw the green figure she ran up to him.
"John!" She ran up to him and jumped in his arms, she kissed the piece of his helmet where his mouth would be.
This caused everyone's jaws to drop, minus John's, they didn't expect Weiss to have a boyfriend.
"Hey." John spoke with actual emotion, not just his monotone one, it didn't hold that much though. John didn't like showing much emotion in front of others, unless it was Weiss, Ironwood, Winter, or Penny.
"WHAT!?!?!?" Everyone at the table yelled at the same time.
