A/N: Hello there! This is part two of the Taking Care of Parker Series. This piece actually doesn't have much of Parker in it XD. We're still on the same day as the previous chapter ended.

Thank you Kareneb & Mphs95 for reviewing!

I almost forgot the WARNING: this chapter mentions some ADULT M-stuff.

Pittsburgh:

As usual, Bones had gotten them the penthouse. It was the first time that they were sleeping in the same bed during a none undercover case though. To keep their personal relationship private for a little longer Bones has made sure the penthouse had two separate bedrooms. Not that they were going to use both rooms though.

Booth walked through the suite, checking what was behind every door. "Which bedroom do you want, Bones?"

With a feeling of panic Bones walked to him. "What do you mean? Aren't we going to sleep in the same bed tonight?"

Booth tried to keep himself from smiling. "That wouldn't make sense, would it? Why did you get us a penthouse with two bedrooms if you only want one bed?"

Bones gasped. "Because I wanted to keep us to us for a little while longer. We always get the penthouse, they almost always have two bedrooms. Besides, it helps so nobody will notice that we are staying together tonight."

"So you don't want the world to know that we are dating, is that it? I didn't know I was your toy boy." His smile now changing into a broad grin as he turned away from Brennan.

"No, but I can see why you would think that..." Bones felt silent to figure out how to explain her reasoning to Booth. Would this be their first couple's fight? She felt her anxiety rising.

"Relax Bones, I am teasing you." Booth turned again, so he was face to face with Bones once more. "I would love to sleep with you in either bed."

She gave him a shove against his chest. "That was mean Booth."

Booth grinned. "Sorry, I can't help myself. You are so cute when you're struggling to catch up and that doesn't happen very often anyway." He took her in his arms, placing kisses on her head.

"I forgive you, I am glad you want to share the bed with me." Bones paused and then smirked. "I love sleeping with you and I love not sleeping even more."

Booth groaned. "I am glad." He slowly grabbed the hem of her dress. "Remember that case a few years ago where you needed to undress me because my clothes were evidence?"

Bones nodded. She knew exactly which case that was. The blown-up Santa named Holden Chevaleer. She had learned that naming victims or convicted killers was a romance killer. "Yes, of course, I do, why?"

"You taking off my suit was very hot", Booth said huskily. "And as much as I have fantasies of us re-enacting that part of the morning, I have even more persistent fantasies of me undressing you like that. Though we can skip the prodding and hair pulling and that ice-cold lab room."

Bones grinned as he relieved her of her dress. "You don't find hair pulling enticing?"

Booth chuckled, knowing exactly where she was going with that. "Oh no, I do, but not with a pair of tweezers. Touches should be sensual, not functional." Booth caressed her cheek, guiding her lips to him. Breaking the kiss, he whispered in her ear. "Do you want to take a nap before we go to dinner?"

Bones traced her fingertip over his collar bone. "You know, if we get into this bed now, there is no chance we'll make it to the restaurant on time."

Booth growled. "You promise? We could order room service instead."

"We shouldn't, Booth." She softly grabbed his wrists. "We came out here to solve a murder. We only have…", she checked Booth's watch, "… half an hour before our reservation. Afterward, I want to go to the state lab to see if they have any results."

"They said they would have the results in by morning." Booth sulked.

"They said most of the results would be in by morning", Brennan corrected him. "After dinner, a few bones should be cleaned also. I promise we'll be back in this room by 10 pm."

"Work before love, right?" He sounded disappointed.

"Well… we were sent here to help solve a murder case", Bones said. "We could do a briefy if you'd like?" Underlining her proposal by running her hand across his chest down to his waistband.

Booth gasped as she reached his zipper. "You mean a quickie?" He managed to rush out the words.

Wetting her lips Bones nodded. "Yes that is the word, I couldn't remember the correct phrasing. If we leave in 15 minutes we would still be on time."

"I'll take what I can get," Booth said, moving them around. "How about the dresser or the fauteuil instead of the bed?"

DC:

"Are you home?"

"No", Lilly said. She checked the time. 9.30 pm. Wendell would just be done with hockey training."

"Oh, where are you then?"

"I am at Booth's." She could hear Wendell gasp through the line.

"Why? Is something wrong?" He managed to get out. His mind immediately going to the last time Lilly had stayed with Booth for weeks.

"No, there is nothing wrong. Booth and Dr. Brennan are out of town, remember? I am hanging out with Parker, because he can hardly be left responsible for himself for over 36 hours."

"Oh good, that is a relieve." He hated himself a little for rather thinking about that lawyer assaulting Lilly than the idea that Lilly was with Booth for well… Booth.

Lilly smiled. "I love that you worry about me, but it's all good here."

"I am glad. I wanted to swing by your place..."

Lilly could hear the disappointment in his voice. "Yeah, I would have loved that too but right now that isn't possible. I don't think I am supposed to have boys over at mister Booth's place."

"What?" Wendell asked.

"Sorry, that is an au pair joke. A lot of families would have the rule that the au pair can't bring their boyfriend into the home where they are staying. You can't imagine how often I heard that line of I can't take you home because I am a nanny."

"Ah", Wendell said. "How often did you use that line?"

Lilly chuckled. "Quite a lot actually. I didn't like to date then, especially since I knew I would be leaving for home after that year."

"Hmm… this is the first time you're using it while being disappointed about it?"

"I guess. I would have called you earlier, but Booth basically dropped off Parker and I haven't had the time yet. Parker just went to bed ten minutes ago."

"So, for how long are you on babysit duty?"

"At least until tomorrow after school. Booth expected that they would be home tomorrow evening, but you know as well as I do that there is no way of telling how long it really will take."

Wendell sulked. "So, I can't see you for two days? Can't I come over tomorrow night?"

"I'll ask Booth if you can come by tomorrow evening. Don't expect to sleepover though."

"Yeah yeah. I really miss you."

"I am missing you too."

"Gosh, this sucks. Let me know what Booth says."

"I will.

"Oh Booth, before you hang up, I have one more question."

"Okay?" Booth asked.

"Wendell called and we usually see each other after hockey training. But since I am staying at your place I was uncomfortable having Wendell over without your approval. He'd like to come over tomorrow and I told him I would ask you."

Booth laughed. "Sorry, I shouldn't laugh but that sounds adorable."

"Hey, I am trying to respect your home and son here."

"I know and I appreciate it. Rebecca actually has a no date rule for her nanny's. I am guessing that is where your question stems from?"

"Yes."

"Well. Parker likes Wendell so if you want to have him over I think that would be okay."

"Thanks."

"One thing though". Booth said.

"Yes?"

"How much have Wendell and you missed each other?"

"What?"

"It's a simple enough question," Booth repeated the question.

"Well… we're dating so we like to spend time together?"

"I understand, that is why I am asking. I am trying to determine whether or not I'll have to buy new furniture when we get back."

"Omg Booth! We're not animals."

Booth laughed. "Hey I trust you with my kid, don't you think I trust you with my bed and stuff too?"

On Lilly's end of the line, she rolled her eyes. "Very funny."

"Thanks, I thought so."

Pittsburgh:

Booth hung up with a giant smile on his face.

"Why were you laughing?" Bones asked as she reappeared from the bathroom. "Did Parker say something funny?"

"Lilly called to ask if it was okay that Wendell would come over."

"Why is that funny?"

"It isn't per se but I decided to tease her a little."

"With what?" Bones started to brush her hair in front of the large bedroom mirror.

"Come on, Bones. She and Wendell are dating about as long as we are. What would you do if you hadn't seen me for over three days?"

Bones smiled as she found the answer. "Sex your brains out?"

"Exactly," Booth said with a sly smile, wiggling his eyebrows at her.

"Did you encourage her to have sex with Wendell?"

"No! Of course not." Booth's smile immediately disappeared. "I told her I hoped I wouldn't have to throw out my bed when we get home."

"That sounds a bit hypocritical if we would do the exact same thing." Temperance frowned. "Besides the more mature adults usually encourage the youngsters to procreate. It is a sign that the elders of society approve of the relationship. That is why you often hear aunts and uncles or parents and grandparents ask when there will be babies. Don't you think mister Bray and miss Johnson make a good match?"

"They do make a nice couple", Booth agreed. "Why do I get the feeling you're getting a little upset?"

"Because in a way, they remind me of us. And if you don't like them together, you might not like us as a couple as much as I had hoped. Miss Johnson is a strong young woman who is eager to learn. Mister Bray is also very smart and he has many of the alpha male tendencies you possess. They both dealt with losing a parent in their childhood. We lost parents too, though it was a little different for us."

Booth nodded. "And they are also a handsome couple, like us, who were friends first before they started dating. They did get their act together a lot faster than we did."

"That they did." Bones smiled.

"So maybe they are the next generation us, huh?"

"Maybe. Though... Mr. Bray is incredibly capable but I sometimes wonder if he'll be able to get to the top in anthropology. He's very good at doing research – as is miss Johnson, but he maybe doesn't excel at doing the science himself."

"What do you mean? You've said plenty of times that Wendell is the brightest of your interns."

"Being bright alone doesn't make you a good scientist. Mr. Bray will be graduating soon and he asked to further his studies by becoming a Ph.D. student under my supervision. Of course, I told him he could, but he still hasn't come to me with possible research topics."

"You're judging him by his lack of a research proposal?" Booth asked.

Bones shrugged.

"That doesn't sound very fair. Wendell is probably busy with finishing up his master's degree and not to forget with dating Lilly."

"I hope you're right." Bones said, feeling like a talk with Wendell was probably a good idea.
