The next morning Miranda woke up to the smell on pancakes when she sat up she grabbed her head that felt like a gun just shot her in the head she went done stairs to the kitchen to see Tuck in his height chair swaying to his Hip Hop Harry soundtrack eating pancakes and Callie at the stove cooking "morning " she said sitting down at the table felling horrible "mommy" Tuck said smiling "heyyy" Callie said setting a plate with pancakes,sausage,eggs and strawberries on it with a bottle of pain relievers in front of her " here eat and than take some of these I know you're not feeling well after last night I know your head must be pounding" she said rubbing Miranda's shoulder Callies sat down and ate her food asking Miranda what was she going to do about today because she had to go to work " I'm gonna go to the hospital and take Tuck to daycare like a regular day" she said like Callie is already supposed to know that "what about your eye" she said confusedly "um I'll just wear sunglasses" Miranda said not really caring anymore about the situation "Well I have to go I'll see you at the hospital and I'll see you at daycare little man" Callie said walking out the kitchen and out the front door when Miranda finished eating she took some pain relievers and then she got Tuck and herself dressed when she pulled up in the hospital parking lot she took a deep breath and put the sunglasses to cover her eye she dropped Tuck off to daycare and went to her locker to change "hey" Callie said walking beside her "hey" Miranda said in a low voice "how you feeling?" "I'm okay I took some medicine it hurts a little bit but I'm good" Miranda said forcing a smile on her face. Half of the day went by with people whispering and staring at her she ignored them but there was one person she really had to ignore Richard Webber Chief of surgery and her mentor she saw him and tried to walk pass him without him noticing her "Bailey can I talk to you" Richard said but she kept on walking "Bailey!" Richard said this time raising his voice so that everyone around him could hear she stopped and slowly turned around to see him pointing at a conference room door telling her to meet him inside "yes sir" she said closing the door behind her "you're not acting right" he said considered " what do you mean" she said knowing exactly what he meant "You're wearing sunglasses in a hospital,why?" She was silent and looked down her feet trying not to cry "Take them off" he said looking at her posture he knew something was wrong " I can't" she said starting to cry "Bailey" lifting up her chin he took the glasses off his face filled up with sadness as he saw her black eye" Oh my god Bailey what the hell happened" he said yelling "it was an accident sir" crying "who did this to you" he said trying not to cry Miranda told him everything that happened "Ben did this" he said pissed " Sir please calm down it was an accident I'm fine" "where is he now" he said still pissed "He's still in jail I think" she said wiping her face putting the glasses back on "did he call you or anything today?" He said calming down "No" "Did Tucker call you?" "No, okay look I haven't heard from anybody and I don't want to hear from anybody I just want to do my job get my son and go home and not hear nothing about last night from you or Callie" she said getting annoyed "So please just drop it.can I go back to work now?" She asked Richard sighed "yes go ahead but call me if you need anything please" he said hugging her " I will sir thank you" and she left
