Midoriya's continued laughter in imitation of his idol echoed through the small tunnel as he stomped, with his right fist in the air while being waved around. The drain behind him began to rumble and shake, as a dark green colored fluid arose and took a shape distant from anything human. The monster immediately flung over and took hold of Izuku, quickly capturing him as it also attempted to suffocate the junior-year student. Midoriya's mind raced the moment he felt his arm being grabbed, and he tried to both figure out what was happening, and how to stop it. Silent panic was displayed across Deku's face, but this hold from this sludge villain wouldn't have him for much longer. 'Just what is this? Is it a villain? What should I do? Think….he can't be very heavy, right? I'll try pushing him off!'. While his thoughts ran frantically, he still had enough focus to try and use his Telekinesis to free himself. The monster may have been heavier than he imagined it, but it still wasn't impossible to get it off of him for a few seconds. His first instinct after being freed was to gather his things and try to escape, and while he hustled to pick up his belongings off the ground, the villain became more and more impatient. It suddenly tried to close in on Izuku with all of its weight, causing Deku to have to use even more of his mental energy. Just as he grabbed the last of his belongings, he dropped his hold and bolted away as quickly as he could, leaping forward to avoid the villain from crushing him as soon as his hold fell. Before the villain could approach the student again, both were interrupted by a large crashing sound from in front of Midoriya. From the midst of the smoke stood a large shadow, who let out a hearty laugh upon arrival. Izuku had stopped dead in his tracks upon seeing the figure, as the sludge creature continued to chase. It loomed over the student, attempting to capture him again, before he was immediately struck down with a single gust of wind. The shadow had thrown a single punch, which created that wind, which also made him more clear. Midoriya knew what he was looking at the instant his eyes caught sight of him. The one who had just appeared before him was the #1 Pro Hero: All Might! As soon as he was able to speak, Midoriya could only stammer in the presence of his idol, trying to actually say words, but failing. Izuku was trying his hardest to get back on his feet, but he kept slipping off of the cement while trying to stand. The hero stared back down at the student, eventually helping him up, and making sure he was okay before leaving. " You seem to be able to stand. Sorry for what happened back there, I usually check for bystanders before attacking with something like that. Guess all that smoke must've gotten in my way! Aha! ". All Might had quickly let out his usual laugh, but Izuku was still too shocked from seeing All Might to speak, but he continued trying. " You were a big help too! Thanks to you, I managed to catch the villain! ". In the quick instant between the attack and now, All Might had contained the villain in two emptied bottles that he proudly showed off, followed by another chuckle from the hero. Deku finally did manage to say something, though. " Wait a minute, I gotta get an autograph! I gotta have a pen around here or something- Could you please sign my noteb- He already signed it!? Th-Tank you so very much, sir! It'll be an heirloom! A family treasure passed down for generations to come!- ". All Might had given his fan a thumbs up, soon turning around and preparing to leap away. "I have to get this one to the police so they can deal with him properly. Stay out of trouble now!".
"Wait, he can't leave now I have so many questions to ask" Izuku thought. "Alright stand back I'm going to take off now, keep up with Heroism!". And in an instant, All Might had leapt into the sky, vanishing completely from where he stood. However, it wasn't a one person flight, as moments later he realized that his passenger was clinging onto his leg. It was Midoriya, still desperately needing his questions answered. "Hey, let go! I adore all of my fans, but this is too much!" "NO WAIT! IF I LET GO I'LL D I E" "Oh! You're right." All Might had landed on a nearby rooftop, setting Midoriya down and walking away again, looking for the nearest police station. 'I still have questions that I wanna ask him. . .' "Do you think that with a quirk as weak as mine that I could be a pro hero? My power isn't all that strong on its own. Could I ever hope to be someone like you!?". As the silence in the air grew, All Might's body was seemingly smoking. A large steam cloud filled the area where the hero stood, as his time ran out. 'S h i t- Not right now!-'. "Ever since I was young, I always looked up to y-"...And in that brief moment, that small encounter that lasted just a bit too long, my life would be sent on a course that would change it forever. "Wait, where did All Might go!?-" "I assure you I am All M-e g h"- spilling from the hero's mouth was a pool of blood. "AAAAAAAAAAAA- NO, YOU'RE A FAKE! An imposter! You can't be All Might! This can't be real!" "It is entirely real. I *am* All Might. This is just my real form. As for your question earlier: no, I don't think you could. Sorry, but some quirks need to have specific strengths. Maybe you could cut it as a small-time rescue hero, maybe even a sidekick for some agency." All Might turned away from Deku, entering the door to the roof to let himself back into the building. He had noticed that something seemed to be missing, and a loud explosion reminded him of his now empty pockets. Both Izuku and All Might rushed down to the scene, All Might taking the long way down through the building, with Midoriya leaping from the rails and catching himself before he hit the ground. As both of them arrived, they saw the sludge villain from earlier, only much larger and surrounded by flames. Izuku had a moment of realization. This was his fault. He grabbed onto All Might and made him drop the villain. And upon closer inspection, he noticed something worse. The villain had a hostage, and that hostage wouldn't last much longer. After the villain turned around and gave Deku a good view, he saw the hostage. 'Th-That's Kacchan!'. Without him even noticing it, he found himself sprinting past the crowd and into the flames to save Bakugou. His initial instinct was to immediately start using his quirk, so he grabbed random objects from his bag and threw them upward, using telekinesis to fling them at the villain at high speeds, one of which landing him in the eye. With the brief moment he had, he tried to pull the monster apart using his quirk like he had done earlier, but in response, the creature tightened his grasp on Bakugou, and it started to crush him. Deku, without realizing it, had already been pushing his quirk, but now he was only going to make it go further as he managed to create an opening to grab his "friend's" arm and save him. Out of anger, the beast tried to attack Deku, to which he held back a full force swing from both arms. He continued to try and hold him back, as he noticed his vision leaving him. He knew he would pass out soon, so he closed his eyes and prepared for the worst. In a quick instant, however, he suddenly had no more weight being held against him. As there was now a large figure standing above him. "You know, attacking children is a low move. It's even lower to lose to one. Aren't you supposed to be powerful? Anyhow, there's no more need to worry. Why? Because I am here!" The hero was standing in front of both Izuku and Bakugou, pulling his right arm back with a clenched fist at its end, and from the depths of his heart, he yelled "DETROIT SMASH!". The ensuing punch created a massive tornado, one that threw even most of the heroes off balance, and changed the weather to a rainy thunderstorm. Midoriya watched in awe as his idol, his hero came to save him again. All Might then stood tall and proud, with the same never-fading smile on his face. Deku's overuse of his power caught up with him, as he began to pass out. After the matter, I got reprimanded by the heroes for throwing myself in danger like that, meanwhile Kacchan was praised for his bravery. Several hours passed, and I finally decided to go home. On my way there, though, I was stopped.
A tired, and worn out Bakugou came dashing down the street corner, stopping Midoriya to yell at him. "DAMN IT! You listen here, you worthless nerd, I DIDN'T NEED YOUR GODDAMN HELP! I HAD IT ENTIRELY UNDER CONTROL! DON'T GO THINKING YOU SAVED ME, BECAUSE YOU DIDN'T, YOU STUPID BASTARD! I DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING!" He then stomped past Izuku, with an angry expression plastered on his face. This wasn't the only time he would be stopped. He was soon interrupted again by All Might sliding in while transformed. "I AM H- e g h". He again spat out more blood in a cough, and Midoriya let out another screech in fear. "A-All Might!? How did you get past all of those reporters?" The hero transformed one more time only to say "I stand for justice, not sound bites!" and then he deformed back to his true state. "I came here to tell you that what you did back there saved somebody's life. It made me rethink what I told you earlier. Seeing you jump into action, even when knowing how dangerous things were inspired me to fight even when I couldn't. You know, there's one thing all great heroes share in common. Their bodies begin to move before they have the chance to think." These words hit Izuku because now he realized he jumped to save his friend before he even gave it a second thought. He understood what that meant, and now he was just waiting to hear it. He grabbed his heart and fell to his knees after hearing those words. "Young man, you too can be a hero." At that point, he couldn't stop himself. Midoriya sat there on the ground, crying. "I see it now that you can be my successor. Now, listen well! If you wanna inherit my power, you're gonna need to work for it!" "Huh?" The boy lifted himself off the ground and looked at the tired hero, pondering what he had just said.
