Three Months Later...
Spidey stepped out his window and swung through the city. Cars were bustling, horns were honking, and he was away from it all, just high enough that he wouldn't hit anything, and just low enough to give passerby's a friendly hello.
"GOOD MORNING NEW YORK!" He yelled, pulling into an upward swing and launching through the air. Flippign with ease, he landed into a roll on a nearby rooftop.
MJ eyed him over her coffee. "Took you a little while. Get lost in traffic."
"Very funny." He replied, pulling off his mask. She gave a grin, and he gave her a kiss before sitting down opposite to her.
"Ugh, you two have got to stop that, it's weirding me out." Chara popped out of a holographic display on Peter's mask and folded her arms. Dr. Strange had been able to make her a viewable, if no less tangible, ghost, and Peter had repurposed some Stark tech to give her a hard light body. She preferred to hang out in his suit when possible.
"What's weirding me out is that this guy has a dead 12 year old girl as his "holographic assistant"." MJ smirked, finger quoting all the way.
Chara stuck her tongue out. "Know what? I am gonna leave you two alone. Online gaming is the BOMB!"
"Is she even old enough for that?" MJ asked Peter.
He shrugged. "What am I gonna do, cut off the Wi-Fi access? Toriel already threatened that."
Toriel had been living at the Parker household, and had recently been accepted as a teacher in "Monster Studies" at a nearby grade school. She had received high praise from the teachers since then, even if her classes never ate her snail pie.
"Speaking of, I'm still researching." MJ flipped through her notebook. "Is Asgore still King of the monsters? That was never made clear."
Peter shrugged. "He's helping part time with Toriel, and-" He looked at the sketch of him that MJ had drawn. "Wow. You captured his expression perfectly."
MJ laughed. "Toriel just threatened to shoot fireballs at him when I got that one. His face was priceless."
Peter's phone was ringing. Picking it up, he saw that it was Papyrus.
"Hold on a moment, looks like Papyrus wants to ask me something." He answered it. "Hello?"
"PETER!" Papyrus exclaimed on the other end. "I'M JUST CALLING TO ASK IF WE CAN EXPECT TO SEE YOU AT TONIGHT'S HUMAN MONSTER TALKS!"
"Of course, wouldn't miss it!" Peter replied.
"GOOD! THAT WAY, YOU WONT MISS MY DELICIOUS NEW LASANGA RECEPIE!"
Peter flinched. "Oh, um, I may have something going on... then."
"NONSENSE! I'LL SEE YOU THERE!"
MJ shook her head as Peter hung up. "You had better be there, Papyrus' pasta or not. This is gonna be my first time speaking on behalf of a whole race of people, which I still cannot believe you suckered me into."
Peter threw his hands up. "You did a whole thing on inter-species relations for your senior project! You were the natural choice."
MJ chuckled. "I'm just messing with you, this is a great opportunity for me. But you'd better be there! Nothing short of a supervillain attack is gonna fly as an excuse!"
Peter grinned. "I'll try my best. Is this gonna be the one where they announce Undyne's appointment to the Avengers?"
MJ nodded. "It's all these guys have been talking about. Apparently robot dude wanted the announcement to be "FABULOUS"."
"I don't envy you dealing with him all day." Peter chuckled.
"Bruce has it worse, he's been in the lab constantly with Alphys and Sans since this whole thing." She replied. "I think Sans naps most of the time."
"I've been there, and can confirm." Peter replied. "For now, a little peace and quiet is nice..."
Chara burst out of the suit's eye lens. "Peter, Ned has an update for you. Something about some guy in a lion jacket and cheetah print yoga pants trying to bust animals out of the zoo."
Peter donned his mask. "I'm on it. See you later, MJ!"
"Go get him, Spidey!" She called. Peter gave her a wave and leapt of the building.
"This is at the zoo, right?" Peter asked. Chara nodded in his HUD. "Plot me the fastest way there, it's getting near lunchtime."
"Done." She replied. "From what Ned said, this guy seemed tacky, but dangerous."
Peter shrugged. "Story of my life."
Chara laughed. "I wont argue with that. Let's get this guy!"
...

Flowey pops up and grins at you.
"Oh relax, I'm not here to cause trouble!" He says with a grin. "I've learned my lesson! … For the moment. All that stuff I said before... I suppose I didn't truly mean it. Everyone takes the things they love and makes them their own. It's how the creative process works! And the views of the author seep into their works, and the views of the reader color it the way they want. But, maybe... maybe we all should be a little more careful of the stuff we invest our time into reading. After all, the things we take in change our personalities, for better or worse!"
He turns to the side for a moment, as though considering. "There's a lot of junk in this world. Everything seems hopelessly dark and gloomy, and that leans into the things that authors write and readers read. But perhaps, sometimes... It's a good idea to turn away from the angst and the junk for a time, to consider the hope and the happiness and the joy that exists in this world, and in the imagination of the people in it. But also remember... to not concentrate so hard on these fictional worlds, pale shadows of the real one, that it consumes your thoughts and mind. Everything should be done in moderation, after all! Now then, c'mon, let's begin the story again, or start to read a new one! Life is short, and it is good to enjoy ourselves! But remember to keep balance, and to turn your eyes to the light just as often as the darkness."
Flowey gives you a wink. "See you around!"
And then he dives back into the soil.
