Searching for Draco

Durmstrang's headmaster looked tired as he waved the four teens into his office. "Sit." He gestured towards the wooden chairs that faced his desk. The office was plain, with stone walls and no decorations. The desk had only a quill and a roll of parchment. Behind the desk was a bookshelf that was as high as the ceiling.

Boor was an old, English man who refused to wear anything but brown. His robes were plain, almost monk like, and had an overall boring personality. His only distinguishable feature was that he smelled of peppermint.

"Mr. Malfoy, I apologize that I could not stop these hooligans from disturbing you. When they entered the school, they spoke of sanctuary, something I couldn't refuse." He eyed the students in disappointment. "I now see they had ulterior motives."

The newcomers did not meet Boor's glance. Hermione Granger, the girl that introduced herself to Draco, looked to him instead. She was sitting next to him. Her cohorts were to her left.

"While we apologize for being misleading," She said, "We are here to try to stop Tom Riddle from destroying what's left of Britain. We were at the Forrest of Dean, retrieving the Sword of Godric Gryffindor, when we found a note attached to the sword."

The girl reached into her Durmstrang robes and pulled out a crippled piece of paper. She held it out for Draco to take, but the blond did not reach for it. Hermione grimaced and smoothed out the paper instead and showed Draco what was written by holding it up.

Draco noticed was that he recognized the handwriting, it was his godfather's. 'Find Fawkes by finding Draco Malfoy, the Seer.'

Draco's jaw tightened at the betrayal he felt. "You must be mistaken. I'm not a Seer."

One of the lackeys cleared their voice. This one had glasses over hazel eyes and brown hair. "Please. We know of no one else who can help us locate the Phoenix we are searching for. We will be out of your way as soon as possible."

Draco shrugged as he turned to the Headmaster, waiting to be dismissed.

"Bloody hell, why are you surprised that Lucius Malfoy's son was not going to help us!? I told you guys he wasn't going to help. Bloody Slytherin, if I ever saw one." The other brown haired and freckled male gestured angrily to Draco, but Draco paid him no mind. His interest was a little piqued, wondering how and why they knew of his father, but decided to stay quiet.

There was silence in the office until Hermione decided to speak, "Headmaster Boor. While we apologize for being duplicitous, our plea for sanctuary was real."

Boor tapped his knuckle on his desk, thinking. He stopped. "You are still children, and as Headmaster, I feel responsible now that you are on my grounds, further, I know enough about the current events in England to guess who is in the room among us. However, I should throw you three out, considering that your presence can bring about trouble for Durmstrang. I need further reasons why I should trust you, something to hold you to. Perhaps a confirmation."

Draco looked expectantly at the group while Granger looked at her four-eyed comrade. Four-eyes nodded. He moved his wand over his head and the glamour started to disappear. What was revealed was a messy, black haired wizard with vibrant green eyes.

Draco could not hold his gasp.

Before him was the man of his nightmares. Fuck.

"Harry Potter." Boor said with a grimace. "Welcome."

Double fuck.
