"You two are in love?"
The question came from Leroy, Emma standing with a blank stare on her face, Regina proceeded to answer.
"Yes, turns out we have been for awhile"
Regina grabbed Emma's hand which brought her back to reality, Emma began to speak.
"That is true, the town reflects our love, Uh anymore questions?"
The conversations in the crowd went silent.
"Ok with that silence I'm guessing it's a no, if any of you have more questions the mayor's office is open, thank you all"
Regina led Emma down a road to get away from the crowd.
"Emma are you ok? You seem a bit nervous"
Emma looked at Regina and smiled.
"Yeah I'm ok"
Regina smiled.
"Just making sure"
Regina began walking Emma home, Emma suddenly had the memory from the morning come back to her, the vision of herself in the mirror.
"No!"
Regina stopped.
"What?"
Emma looked at Regina.
"Um, What I meant was I don't really wanna go home, maybe we can go to the lake?"
Regina nodded.
"Sure"
Emma took a breath in and began to walk.
"Are you sure you're ok?"
Emma nodded forcing a smile.
"Yeah, why would I lie?"
Regina stopped walking.
"I'm serious, after everything we've been through, after all the times I've looked at you, I know my Emma, and this... this isn't my Emma"
Emma sighed.
"Regina I'm ok"
Regina took Emma into a hug.
"I'm always here if you wanna talk"
Emma pulled apart and smiled at Regina.
"I know you are"
Emma took Regina's hand and they walked the rest of the way to the lake.
"So we should probably start moving my stuff in"
Regina looked at Emma.
"Really? It's been a day and a half, are you sure you wanna move in?"
Emma nodded.
"I've taken so long to do so many things, and in doing that I've lost so much, so yes, I want to move in"
Regina smiled.
"You're absolutely sure about this?"
Emma took Regina's hands in hers.
"Seal it with a kiss to make it a promise?"
Regina smiled.
"Why not"
Emma leaned into Regina and locked her lips with hers, the moment was perfect until Emma saw the vision of the photo on the office floor surrounded in glass, the one she saw the night before.
"NO!!"
She jolted away from Regina breathing hard.
"What happened?"
Emma had tears in her eyes.
"I saw it, I saw the photo, the one from my dream"
Regina hugged her.
"It's ok, Emma it will be ok"
Emma slowed her breathing as she felt Regina's comfort.
"I think we should go see Archie"
Emma shook her head as she pulled away.
"No, I don't need a therapist, I just"
Emma sighed.
"I just want to be with you, spend time with you, I feel safe around you"
Regina smiled.
"I think we can arrange that, but right now, we need to head to the mayor's office, we do run this town"
Regina wiped Emma's remaining tears, Emma moved her head closer to Regina's hand to feel comfort.
"It will get better"
Emma smiled.
"I hope"
They got up from the park bench and walked down the street to the mayor's office.
"I've been seeing visions from my dreams all day"
Regina turned to Emma.
"What?"
Emma sighed.
"You asked me if something was wrong earlier, I lied"
Regina smiled.
"You don't think I know?"
Emma's smile dropped.
"You knew?"
Regina chuckled.
"I told you! I know my Emma"
Emma smiled.
"I just can't hide anything"
Regina shook her head.
"Well you may not be able to but... WE can"
Emma laughed.
"Oh yeah? And what are we gonna hide?"
Regina gave Emma a side smiled as she unlocked the office.
"We could call in sick tomorrow"
Emma smiled.
"But then we can't leave the house"
Regina shrugged as she swung the door open.
"Who needs to leave when everything you need is right next to you?"
Emma smiled.
"Aw I'm all you need?"
Regina gave a smirk.
"Nah I have the TV remote next to my bed"
Emma rolled her eyes as she gave a sarcastic laugh.
"How dare I think you love me"
Regina chuckled as she closed the office door, she grabbed Emma close to her and whispered in her ear with a sarcastic tone.
"Oh I hate you"
Emma closed the gap between them and began kissing her, Emma lost her footing and walked backwards bringing Regina with her, she lost balance and fell backwards onto the couch in the room, they pulled apart as Regina laid on top of her.
"You know I don't think my remote has ever been this cute"
Emma laughed as she pulled Regina's face closer to hers and kissed her again.
The door swung open and Zelena walked in.
"Hey sis I- sorry"
Regina fell off the couch.
"Wait!"
Zelena walked back into the room and laughed.
"Sorry if i interrupted, I just had a question"
Regina got up and straightened her dress out.
"No we weren't uh, doing anything"
Regina gave an awkward smile.
"Uh huh ok, anyway I was just wondering if the town will be ran the same or if there will be some new laws"
Emma stood up and smiled at Zelena.
"The town will be run exactly the same"
Zelena smiled.
"That's wonderful news, thank you so much, I need to go pick Robin up from Snow but I just wanted to stop by and ask"
Emma nodded.
"Glad we could help"
Zelena walked to the door.
"Oh and sis"
Regina looked at her sister.
"Have fun"
Zelena closed the door and Emma laughed.
"That was a roller coaster"
Regina chuckled.
"Tell me about it"
Regina gave Emma a smile.
"So what did we learn?"
Regina smiled.
"Lock the door"
Emma chuckled as she let the visions from the day slip away, maybe things would be ok.
