"Hide? You mean-"

"Yeah." Chat Noir answered his question before he finished it, eyeing Switcheroo, who seemed more than amused by Peter's panicking, even if she couldn't understand what he was saying, "as I said, that beeping means that you're going to detransform. "

"Do I have to do anything specific about it?"

"To transform again? Yeah. You'll just need to give your kwamii some food. And then they'll tell you how." Chat Noir said.

"Okay. Uh. Cool. I'll try figure out where to find some food." Peter replied.

He glanced at the yo-yo in his hand and tested it out experimentally. He glanced at Chat Noir with a look that said 'are you serious?' and flung it out towards an over handing light pole. The yo-yo wrapped around it and he gave it a tug. He'd seen Marinette do it easy enough, so surely it was stable, right?

Thankfully, Chat Noir stopped him before he could leave, "Hey uh- just quickly before you leave, how do I use-"

"The button on your hand there, tap it with your two middle fingers,"

"Got it." Chat Noir started fidgeting with the webshooters on his wrists and Peter took a step towards him to help.

He stopped himself as his ears started buzzing louder.

Hopefully he can manage on his own. Peter thought.

He uncertainly looked at the yo-yo string in his hand. Just like web-slinging. He told himself and leapt off the building.

His chest tightened momentarily as he started falling, but the familiar feeling of swinging through the air returned to him as he quickly got the hang of it. He headed off in the direction of his hotel. Surely he had food somewhere in the room.

He landed on the balcony and opened the door to get inside, thanking himself silently for forgetting to lock it earlier.

He looked around the room for something to eat. No, not for me. He corrected himself. Something for the.. Kawmii.. to eat.

There. Some complimentary chocolate bars on the table. Hopefully I don't have to pay for these.

The beeping stopped and with a flash his costume disappeared.

A small red creature floated around him.

"Peter?" It asked, eyes widening in shock. "You're Spider-Man?"

"Uhh, yeah, I am. You speak English?"

"Yes. I can speak in any language so that I can communicate with the holder of my Miraculous." It replied, eyeing the chocolate bar in his hand.

"Ah, right, here, uh-" Peter opened the bar and hesitantly handed it to the creature.

"Thank you Peter. I'm Tikki. Your Kwamii."

"Uh, cool, thank you... Tikki." Peter hesitated, "Is there anything else I need to-"

Someone opened the door.

Tikki flew out of sight.

"Petey? Are you in here- oh. You are."

Peter turned around. "Chloe! Uh- hi, what- what are you doing here?" He quietly scolded himself for forgetting to lock the other door earlier.

"I came to come hang out with you. What wrong?- is that illegal?"

"No, but coming into the room without knocking should be!" Peter grumbled.

Chloe smirked, "Yes, it did seem like I've interrupted something. You might want to put some clothes on Petey."

Peter's face flushed as he realised he was in his boxers. Right, I wasn't wearing normal clothes under my suit. He scrambled around to find something to wear. "Don't watch!" He squeaked. He could hear Chloe snickering quietly.

"Or on second thoughts, maybe don't!"

After putting some clothes on Peter turned around. "Okay, why are you really here Ch-"

Chloe was no longer standing where she was before. Where did she-

A warm hand was placed on his shoulder and he flinched.

"No one believed you today, but I did," Chloe whispered in his ear. She was really close. "It's really cool that you know Tony Stark."

"I thought you were agreeing with them?"

"No, I didn't." Chloe said quickly. "But Marinette did. Did you hear the things she was saying about you?"

"Right-"

"I don't know why your friends with her."

"Well-"

She put another hand on his other shoulder. "You should hang out with me,"

"You've mentioned that already." Peter responded nervously.

"And you turned me down." Was she getting closer? "But surely you see that I'm right?"

"Ye- no- maybe- look I'm kinda busy right now I really need to get back-"

"Ohh but Petey you're always busy."

"I'm a- a busy person." Peter stammered.

"Surely you have some time t-"

A sound came from the balcony and the two of them turned to see what it was.

Marinette was outside, still using Chat Noir's Miraculous. She knocked on the balcony door, looking equally amused and displeased(?) at the same time. Two other figures were standing behind her.

"Hello Peter, I came to ask if you knew where Chloe was. But it seems you do."

Flustered, Peter quickly brushed away Chloe's hands from his shoulders.

"Ladybug? Why do you look like Chat Noir?" Chloe asked.

"An Akuma. We think. She switches miraculouses and powers."

"Well you look ridiculous."

"Thank you." Marinette replied shortly. "Could you help us? We need all the help we can get." She held out something in her palm towards Chloe. A hair pin? It looked like a bee.

"Of course I can." Chloe snatched it from Marinette's hand and fastened it to her hair. "Hey Petey, watch this. I know you'll be impressed."

"Right oka-"

"Pollen, Bug On!"

Peter gaped as a flash transformed Chloe into a superhero. Another person who's identity I know. He mused.

"So? How do I look?"

"You look really cool!" Peter couldn't stop himself from grinning.

Chloe tossed her head, "Of course I do. Want to know my name?" Peter didn't respond but she took that as an affirmative response. "I'm Queen Bee!"

Peter went to respond but Marinette interrupted them.

"Sorry to interrupt, but we need to get going. I don't know how long Spider-man and Chat Noir are going to last." Marinette said, stepping forward.

Or rather, Chat Noir on his own using the Spider-Man costume and powers. "Right, yes, go ahead. I've got -something to do anyway." Peter gave a thumbs up, relieved they were going to leave. As they left the room, Peter slipped into the bathroom, thankful he was finally alone.

Tikki reappeared from her hiding place. "Very smoothly handled, Peter."

Peter narrowed his eyes. Was the Kwamii being sarcastic? "I tried my best." He responded curtly. "So how do I transform?"

"You need to say, 'Tikki, spots on'." The Kwamii replied.

"Okay, Tikki, spots on!" With a flash the costume reappeared on him. He couldn't help but glance at the mirror.

This is really neat. He thought, how the costume appears on you with just a few words. Kinda like Tony's nanotech suit. Gotta ask him if he can make a suit like that for me too..

His suit resembled his Spider-suit, but had spots on it and a ladybug on the chest instead of a spider. Unlike Ladybug and Chat Noir, his mask didn't cover just his eyes but his whole face. He experimentally tucked his thumbs under the mask and lifted it up. It didn't peel off higher than his nose.

Interesting. He thought. It lifts up high enough for someone to steal the earrings, but not high enough to reveal my whole face. Good to know.

"Alright." He said quietly to himself. "Time for me to go help the others!"
