It had been 1 month since their departure from Barracuda island and as it turned out it wasn't long before a pirate group took over the base effectively eliminating the marines from those posts. Domino had heard about the news on the communication channels and admitted she held out a small glass to the image of the Whitebeard flag flaying where the Marines used to. Before she poured the bottle out to the sea for the ones who defended it.

Domino knew that her leaving the island would leave the base open for attack, but her orders were to return to Marineford. It just happened to be the Whitebeards that took over the base.

However such coincidences had not gone unnoticed by the Navy HQ; and no matter how harshly Domino defended herself against accusations she still found herself standing before 3 Vice Admirals and one Admiral.

Domino looked on at the grime faces standing proper in her formal white uniform and her held high. The room was a wide open room with a large table facing towards Domino. To the left were three floor to ceiling windows all shinning light between the space of the high tables casting a bright light on the spot Domino stood.

"So, Captain do you know why you are here today?" Sengoku asked his voice proper and gruff. She looked at him then towards Garp who sat beside him and on the other side Akainu and Kuzan. Kuzan of course was half asleep while Akainu glared.

"Is it because of my actions on Barracuda island?" She asked knowing the reason. It was because they had proof of her sleeping with Marco. Yet she tried to make it about the good that she tried to do.

Sengoku nodded "Yes." He stated looking at the paper work. "Multiple accounts of Collusion in private terms and with the Whitebeard Pirates to overthrow the government base on the island?" he asked himself at the last half to which Domino let out a small smug smile.

"Is there anything you wish to say before we proceed?" He asked her.

She didn't dare look at Garp as she spoke twisting her wrist at her side. "Yes sir." She nodded staring straight and emotionless towards Sengoku as he nodded towards her. "In terms of collusion as in working together, with the Whitebeard pirates to over throw the base I deny those claims." She spoke formerly and stern. Strangely enough she didn't have anxiety growing through her veins that she normally had instead she was cold.

"And on the other claim?" Sengoku asked leaning in towards her that she smiled at and went lax. "Now if you mean collusion as in multiple rounds of sex with the First division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates the I am guilty. However that has no effect on my abilities as a Marine." She shrugged as Garp chocked on his drink.

Sengoku went stiff for a second and wide eyed before he had to mentally remind himself that honesty was the one thing he could count on her for. The position she put him in with this honesty was another problem. Akainu slammed his fist down startling Kuzan who blinked curiously and looked at Domino who's face unshaken stared at Akainu "Your actions are deplorable!"

She nodded "I understand this sir." She spoke still holding her head high. Sengoku cough "We'll precede with the actions and evidence." He stated before Akainu stopped him and pointed at Domino "No need to Sengoku she's already admitted the crime of collusion she should be locked up or held before a firing squad." He stated.

Domino gave a slight head tilt "Well you be pulling the trigger, if so then I'd rather just kill myself sir. At least then I know it'll be a clean end." She stated honestly to Garp's dismay. Sengoku looked between Akainu and Domino and slammed his fist.

"There will be no killing yourself marine, Damnit Domino just let me run my court." He stated before catching himself and leaning back "Akainu I asked you here as an example for when are to hold these courts I do not want to hear another word." He stated looking at an Akainu who sulked back.

Domino looked from Akainu and towards an opened eye Kuzan. Akainu was typically all bark due to his limitations from Sengoku, however Kuzan and his slightly wary look was what scared her. Kuzan could be the best friend in the world but if asked by the government to kill that person he would do so without hesitation. Domino feared that he would be the one to kill her so she gave him a knowing look before sending her eyes back to Sengoku who looked through the paperwork.

"First well go back to the first time this happened." Sengoku read aloud.

"The first time you had intercourse with this pirate was Barricuda island correct." Sengoku looked down at a blurry snapshot of Domino pulling Marco in through her window. He hated that he even had to hold this meeting. And honestly trying to hold Garp back from snickering at every moment was even worse.

Domino looked up her white uniform freshly pressed and her hair pulled back in a gelled back manor. "No sir, but it was the last." She stated sternly and expressionless. To hear Garp audibly groan and cover his face. She then tilted her head "I'm not going to lie." She stated in response to his discomfort. She was truly aware at could happen. She very well could end up on the wrong end of a rifle for this but out of all the reasons she should be punished she refused to let this one be what she was ashamed of. Because she wasn't. She was pretty sure that even though the chances of her meeting the mischievous blonde again was slim she would still do him again in a heartbeat.

"So you have come to understand the error in your ways?" He stated looking at her "Do you agree?" He asked leading her to an answer. He could see it on her face that she hated where she was and how she had got there but he would be fooling himself to believe she would actually take the bait and save herself.

Domino nodded "Yes sir." She stated her voice going back to its cold and emotionless tone.

Sengoku let the surprise take him. He then covered it with a cough and nodded shuffling more paperwork. He did not expect her to say that, and the fact that she sounded so stern and determination in her voice was even more surprising. He couldn't believe it she was actually becoming a real Marine. But it was a shame that he had to even hold this meeting after how far she had come.

"So you do feel as if you have made a mistake Marine?" He asked trying to make sure she would stick to her guns.

Domino shook her head "It was something that should have never happened sir. But since it did I will not say it was a mistake." She stated her face twitching for a second before she went back to blank face.

He took in a deep breath and looked down at her, she couldn't do it. She couldn't make this easy for herself. "So, if you where to come across this pirate you would repeat your actions?" He Asked concerned as he watched Domino's face morph to a smug grin before she tried to hide her smile.

"Yes sir." She asked him. He rubbed his temples "Do you understand what your response mean?" He asked. Domino tilted her head showing more emotion then before. "Yes." She responded.

Akainu once again slammed his fist "That is deplorable Marine."

Domino took a step back. "No what is deplorable is that I am even standing here before you. Whoever I chose in my own free time is in no way justified to be question my honor and pride as a Marine. Nor my ability to do my job, Sir." She stated her voice unchanging.

"A marine should hold themselves to the highest standard at all times." Akainu nearly shouted to the annoyance of everyone in the room.

"Have you ever had sex before? It may help you understand why I may not want to be reciting the Marine codex while doing it." She stated wiggling her fingers at him. No no, her phalanges towards him.

He blinked as Kuzan tried and succeed to hide his light laughter at how red his counterpart got. Sengoku sent a glare towards Akainu then towards Domino. "During any time did you exchange marine secrets or information?" Sengoku had to restate making sure the recording got it.

Domino shook her head staring at the shadows of the window on the tile floor before looking up. "No sir, and I would like the court to record the fact that you have to ask that question is a reflection on your own opinions of me." She spoke sternly.

Sengoku sighed "These are formalities, if I can ever get through them." He stated stacking papers in annoyance.

Domino nodded "I'm sorry sir." She stated bowing her head slightly.

Sengoku nodded rubbing his head as Akainu remarked "Who knows what secrets you could of told. It would be a threat to keep you alive." He stated himself purposefully holding himself from moving.

Domino titled her head "Trust me sir out of all the things I could, I'm not screaming Marine secrets." She stated with a smile. Only sending Akainu reeling before she asked "I bet you talk all Marine like while friken fucking huh? Is that why you're insecure?" She asked imagining Akainu ordering someone or something and trying not to giggle. She moved her eyes to see a Kuzan tilt his head at the image as well as a disgruntle Garp look away.

Sengoku sent a ordering cough before waving his hand at Domino "It is clear that this portion will go no where at this point. Dismissed." He spoke sternly. Domino looked at him confused when he repeated it. "Dismissed, Captain, you can expect the results by the end of the day."

Domino shook her head "Wait," She stood looking at Sengoku who sent her a warning glare. "I would like to say something before we leave sir." She asked Sengoku moved to sit back down and nodded.

Domino looked before the three people she cared for and then Akainu "I may have a questionable past, and sometimes my actions are a little over the line, But I am a damn good Marine and you all would be fools to get rid of me because of who I chose to be in bed with." She stated before turning on her heels and walking out.

As soon as the doors closed behind her she was greeted by a nervous Adaline who held on to her arm. "How'd it go?" She asked biting her lip as Domino moved to sit at the bench that was against the wall. The long granite hallways echoed every word only to fall short on the long running red and white trim carpet.

Adaline nodded as Domino restated everything that happened. Adaline then frowned and leaned against the wall. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know what had gotten in to me I don't even remember..." She whispered. Domino gave a half glance at Adaline before her features softened and she nudged her.

"Ah com'on Ada I know it wasn't you, they had to much paperwork and proof for you to have done it." She stated and then shrugged "Besides even if you did I'm not ashamed of the nights I had with him." She smiled remembering his body before growing cold at his image walking away.

Adaline nodded putting a well-manicured hand to her face as well dressed officers walked down the halls talking. "But if it wasn't me then who?" She asked. Domino shrugged "I mean does it matter? Whatever happens now will be out in the open and dragging my name out more." Domino sighed running her hand through her hair.

Adaline nodded "I know, I know but it would help if we could find out you know?" She asked looking at a distraught Domino who shook her head and then smiled. "Well whoever it was needed something to gain by my death." She then shook her head at Adalines face " Collusion with a pirate? That is punishable by death and the way ol magma dog was acting in there I was already DOA." She hummed. Adaline nodded "Yeah, who would stand to gain from you being discredited like that?" She asked out loud.

Domino shrugged "The only person I can think of is Kato, I did find the transponder snail in his hand." She stated as Adaline nodded leaning on Domino's shoulder.

"He is communications officer, so communicating would be his thing." She hummed as Domino nodded looking up at the solid red door in fear and then looking down. "I know, but i'm still shocked that the floor mat would actually do that? I mean I kept him from being court marshaled back when he punched me when he first received the news, not to mention all the times you and I managed to stop him from being a complete monster back when we he was captain." She took a deep breath shaking her head knowing better then to give people the benefit of the doubt.

"But still it doesn't make sense because if I get removed then you would be the next, Then Romeo, then Gator, and so on so forth." Domino mumbled running her hand through her hair.

Adaline shrugged "Maybe he doesn't want his position back? What if it's personal?" she asked looking at Domino who now leaned over placing her arms on her knees and twisting her wrists. "You'd think?" She asked giving Adaline a questioning look before Adaline smiled.

"You can be a little overbearing with your tone and all." She spoke her voice light and caring.

Domino shrugged and moved to sit up. "I don't mean for that to happen that is my voice? But I s'pose I could try and be a little less stern?" She asked, her voice straining to sound more then the cold uncaring voice she normally had.

Adaline gave and awkward smile and leaned in. "Maybe that would help? But please don't strain yourself." She teased and nudged a depressed Domino before the large red door flung open to show a strained and serious Garp. His eyes on her before he gave her a weak smile and walked towards the two.

Both quickly rose but while Adaline gave a stern salute Domino gave a more relaxed two fingers to her head and a quick drop of the arm salute. Garp nodded "Come on you brat." before Adaline gave a quick squeeze of Domino's more muscular arm and a brave smile.

Domino nodded tapping her hand and followed Garp through the door.
