"This here, is the battle bus!" said Resolve "Pretty much we all hop on this bus and it flies across the map. You have around 30 seconds to jump."

"And what happens if we don't jump in those 30 seconds?" Asked Tails.

"Simple. They kick you off." said Resolve

Tails gulped

"Don't worry. Just follow me. I've done this about 25 times." said Resolve

"25?!" Tails cried "You mean you've done this 25 times and survived?!"

"Yeeep."

Tails paused

"Hey Resolve, can I ask you something?"

Resolve replied "Of course."

"Is there any way I can go back home?"

"Well, there is one way. Once you win you will be allowed 1 wish. The person who does these wishes is called Catalyst."

"Catalyst?"

"Yep. I've met her before. Every game after I won, I wished for another game."

"Wait, why don't you want to go home?" Tails asked

"Well... I don't exactly have a home. I've been here ever since I was young. Though that was on Athena."

"What's Athena?"

"I'll explain later, right now we gotta get on."

They climbed onto the bus. Once they were on the bus Tails noticed the bus driver. She had a purple helmet on that looked like a panda with visors. She had a leather jacket. On the front was a rainbow shirt with a face with Xs as eyes and a smile. She had these furry things on her legs and yellow shoes with blue straps and Xs on the front.

"Who is that?" Tails asked.

"Who her? That's DJ Bop. She's the been the bus driver for almost 2 years now. Wassup Bop?"

"Hey Resolve!" said DJ Bop "Who is this? Is it you teammate?"

"Yep! His name is Tails! He looks almost just like me."

"H-hi." said Tails nervously

"Well you better buckle up." said Bop

They walked to their seats

"Say Tails, why did you stutter when talking to her?" asked Resolve

"I sometimes get nervous talking to new people." replied Tails

"That's alright. We aren't meeting anyone anyways." said Resolve

"Hey Resolve, do you have a pet freak as well?" said a voice

Resolve said "Oh you're shitting me."

Tails stood there, frozen. That insult hurt him ever since he was a child.

"Over here mutant!" They both turned around to see what looked like a knight in black armor. Everything was black, from his helmet, to his boots. Only his eyes were red.

"What the hell do you want B.K.? (Black Knight)"

"We want to you and your dumbass pet off the bus!" said another voice

"We? Oh shit R.K. (Red Knight) you're here as well." said Resolve

"That's right. Now get the freak off the bus!"

Tails started to tear up. Resolve noticed this and walked up to R.Ks seat. "Say it again bitch." said Resolve in a bored tone

"Get the fr-"

Before she could say anything Resolve grabbed her by the neck and tossed her up. He then started to punch her

"MUDDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!" cried Resolve. He then went back to his seat (yes that was a motherfucking jojo reference)

"You alright?" asked Resolve to Tails

"Y-yeah. *sniff* That word just doesn't have a good past with me." replied Tails

"That's alright. Trust me I won't let anyone near you. Anyways you should buckle up, the bus about to take off."

"Is everyone ready?" asked Bop

"Let's get the dub dude!" yelled Resolve

"Alright! Good luck!" Bop then floored the gas and they were off. Tails sunk into his seat

"Why is she going so fast?!" yelled Tails

"To get in and out as quick as she can!" shouted Resolve."

They were soon above the island and were about to jump

"Where do you want to land dude?" asked Resolve

"Hmmm, let's try Lazy Lake." replied Tails

"You sure? it's pretty crowded there."

"We'll be fine. Common!"

They both jumped out of the bus into the open air. For what felt like an hour they were finally about to touch the ground.

"Deploy your glider!" shouted Resolve

"My what?!" shouted Tails

"Your glider!"

"Oh yeah!" He opened his glider. "See, I'm getting the hang of th-" he face planted into the wall in front of the insurance building

"Goddammit, this is gonna be a long game." sighed Resovle as he landed on a house near the insurance building. The battle was on.
