"Tails? You awake buddy? Tails? Oh shit he's finally waking up!"

"W-where am I?" asked Tails

Resolve replied "Well you kind of face planted into a wall when you were gliding." They heard 3 gun shots go off "Also the match started like a minute ago. We are inside of a building. Don't worry, I have myself a blue pump and green AR."

"Blue? Green? Why are there colors to them and why are you telling me it?" asked Tails.

"There are 5 rarities on this island." said Resolve "Gray being the worst, then green, then blue, purple, and finally gold. The better it is, the harder it is to find it."

Resolve noticed someone running outside. He peeped out the window to see a pink hedgehog. She had a red dress, red boots, and... a hammer?

"Tails, there is a pink hedgehog with a hammer outside. I'm gonna take her out."

"Wait Resolve do-"

But it was too late. Resolve already shot her down.

"WHY DID YOU DO THAT?! THAT WAS MY FRIEND AMY! NOW SHE'S DEAD!" Tails screamed

"Dead? Why would she be dead?"

"BECAUSE YOU SHOT HER RI-" Tails stopped as he saw a drone pick her up and then made her disappear. "W-w-what was that?" asked Tails

"That was the drone sending her back to the spawn island for another game." replied Resolve

"But I thought you said people died." said Tails

"Oh! They do die, but they come back to life by that drone! I probably should've mentioned that earlier." Resolve said as he rubbed the back of his neck. Tails slapped his forehead. Then he went serious again.

"So Resolve, tell me about this Athena place you were talking about."

Resolve said "Well, it was a nice day, nothing was going on. Then everyone spotted something. It looked like a blue dot. We thought it was nothing, boy were we wrong. A few weeks later it crashed into our island."

"That's what happened to your home?" asked Tails

"Not exactly." replied Resolve

"What else could've happened?" asked Tails

Resolve replied "Well after that the meteroid was open so we guessed there was something living in it. 2 months later a rocket goes off. It seemed it was sent to destroy a place called Tilted Towers."

"Tilted Towers?" asker Tails

"Yes." replied Resolve. "It was the busiest, most chaotic location in all of fortnite. But what happened was the rocket dissapeared. Then it reappeared out of some sort of rift. Then it went haywire and blasted a giant rift into the sky. We didn't see it for a long time. Then a couple months passed by in the summer. That's when the giant rift went crazy. It blasted dark matter onto a hill, causing to form a purple cube. That cube rolled across the island destroying everything in its path. Then it reached a place called Loot Lake. It fell in and sunk like a sugar cube. We thought it was over, then the lake went purple. We discovered it was highly bouncy and thought it was fine. Then a week later, it all started to happen." Resolve was about to continue when he saw a bullet fly right by him.

"Shit! Tails we gotta go!" yelled Resolve. They rushed down the stairs and to outside of the building "Here take this!" He handed Tails a purple smg.

"You want ME to hold this?!" asked Tails.

"Of course! You need a weapon! Now let's get to the car!" They rushed to the car by the gas station. As they were heading towards there, Resolve said "Tails I need you to drive. The first wave of the storm is about to come in and I need to keep track of that and kill these bastards!"

"What?! I don't know the roads!" said Tails

"I'll guide you! Now come on!"

They both hopped into the car. Tails started the engine. "The safe zone is by the gas station near the authority. I'll guide you there. Let's get a move on!"

Tails nodded. Then Tails put his foot on the gas and they were off. Resolve looked behind and saw the players right behind him. They were gaining speed. "Tails, we need to go faster! They're catching up!" Tails floored it and they sped up onto the open road. "Who are those guys?!" asked Tails

"The one driving is Beach Bomber, the one in the passenger seat is Drift." Beach Bomber was a girl with pinkish hair, and had a rainbow hat. She also had a ripped shirt with blue jean shorts and black and white sneakers. Drift had a kitsune mask as well as a red hoodie, black sweat pants,and yellow and black high tops. Tails knew this fight would last a while. But he had to win this so Tails could go back home. He heard the siren and the first wave started to close in. The game was underway.
