Now onto the chapter!

Chapter II. May

I heard the huge bus before I saw it.

It was a big, black and electric blue bus. The blue swirls were so pretty. People were already on there.

The doors opened at my house. I climbed in and sighed at the luxurious leather seats and expensive TVs. There were footrests and even drink holders!

On the right and left, there were four seats. The back had eight seats. According to the map on the main TV, the bus had picked up students from Kanto and Johto. This was apparently the last stop for Hoenn. The Hoenn circled turned green as the bus made its way to Sinnoh.

Wait, if they had already picked up students from Kanto, that must mean...

"Misty! Leaf!" I cried as I saw the two on the right, looking out the glass window. They turned to me, smiles cracking onto their faces.

"May!" We all hugged each other excitedly.

"Now we just need to wait for Twinleaf Town to come up!" Leaf exclaimed excitedly, her chocolate brown hair bouncing up and down.

Of course, Twinleaf Town was very far from Petalburg City in Hoenn. I got bored. Misty was petting her Starmie while Leaf was pointing out various grass type Pokemon. I felt like I wanted to do something else that didn't involve Pokemon.

I told Misty and Leaf my problems.

"Aww, it's okay," Leaf comforted. "Hey, I saw a Pokemon battlefield room in the front. Care for a challenge?"

I didn't want to battle Leaf, but I sort of did want to show how much I learned. "Sure," I said, shrugging.

Leaf led me to the battlefield, which was a metal field with the necessary white lines. Misty came along to judge.

I threw out a Pokeball. "Glaceon, take the stage!" I cried once Misty said her weird sayings.

"Venusaur, I choose you!" Leaf yelled.

"Gla!"

"Venusaur!"

I faced Leaf with a smile. She had a smirk.

"Razor Leaf!" Venusaur sent the sharp-as-razors leaves at Glaceon.

"Ice Beam!" The ice froze the leaves in place. "Dart forward and slash them to pieces, then Icy Wind!"

I knew it was a lot for my Glaceon, but it pulled through. The glittering shards made the air look shiny. But they were still sharp. Glaceon used Icy Wind and the chilly wind blew the sharp shards to Venusaur.

Suddenly, we heard a ding. "Hey! I think we're in Sinnoh!" Misty exclaimed and ran out to her seat, abandoning her position as judge. Leaf and I looked at each other, then we called back our Pokemon.

"Twinleaf Town coming up!" I squealed once I saw the town through the window.

The bus stopped at Dawn's door. We could see her come in. Then we waved. She saw us and squealed, earning a few glares from some of the passengers.

"Misty! May! Leaf!" she cried and engulfed us in a bone-breaking hug.

"Leaf and May were in the middle of an, ahem, intense battle," Misty said in her judge voice. Leaf and I giggled.

"So!" Dawn exclaimed, sitting down in the last seat, which was the aisle seat. "What were you guys doing while we were separated?"

Sometimes Dawn talks in a weird way whenever she's excited. "I was the gym leader of the Cerulean gym," Misty started.

"I helped my dad train! And Max got his first Pokemon!" I informed.

"Max got his first Pokemon?" Leaf said shocked.

"Yeah. It was a Treecko of course," I said.

"Wow. We're already what? Sixteen?" Dawn asked.

"If Max is ten, then yes," Misty replied.

"COOL," Dawn exclaimed. "But we need to get to the school as fast a-"

"Unova region."

"But we don't exactly have any friends in the Unova region," I said sadly.

"Uh, what about Iris?" Misty asked.

"Mom said Iris couldn't come," Dawn put in.

"Oh," Leaf said. "That's sad."

We sat in silence for a bit. Then we were going to the Kalos region. I made a face. I mean the Kalos region is full of cool Pokemon and stuff, but the Performers are so, I don't know what you call it. Like they put the show mostly on the Trainer, not the Pokemon. And they dress up! Ugh! They dress up in Sinnoh, but that's a different story. Besides, the 'ribbons' or rewards you get when you win a Showcase is called a Princess Key! Just too girly for me. I may be the second-most girlygirl in our little group, but the Performers are just too much. I saw Dawn making a face too.

I saw Aria, the Kalos Queen, board the bus. I didn't pay any attention to her. Then I saw Serena board. I may have never met her, but I watched her on TV when Mom forced me to watch the Showcase when Serena faces Aria. Or whatever.

Serena plopped down on a seat next to Aria, right behind us. We groaned.

Leaf put her head on the window and fell asleep. Misty started reading a book about water-type Pokemon. I put earphones on and listened to some classical piano. Mom said that it's good for you. Dawn started braiding her hair and doing all sorts of fancy stuff with it. At least with my earphones, I couldn't hear Serena and Aria talking.

"Leaf! Leaf! Wake up!" Misty prodded Leaf awake.

"What Misty?" she asked tiredly.

"We're HERE, that's what!" I exclaimed.

The bus doors opened and we rushed out. The bus had stopped in the front of a red and white building that had multiple towers and many wide buildings. 'Welcome to Pokemon Academy for Advanced Trainers and Coordinators!' could be read in the front. Many students were piling in, getting their schedules from the receptionist.

We walked up to her. "Hi. I'm Solidad." she said.

"Misty," Misty said. "Schedules for Misty Waterflower, May Maple, Dawn Berlitz, and Leaf Green."

Solidad handed us our schedules. Wait, Solidad...

"Hey!" I cried. "I remember you!"

Solidad smiled. "Yes, May!" she said.

I grinned. "So we'll be seeing each other in the hallways, I guess."

She nodded.

Misty then dragged me to where Dawn and Leaf were: In the building.

"Dawn and May are in Dorm 39!" Misty yelled. It was pretty crowded.

"Okay!" I yelled. Then I grabbed Dawn and pulled her toward the sign that said: "Dorms 30-40 are up."

We took the elevator to floor 4. Then we found our dorm, which was connected to Dorm 40. Whoever's dorm that was.

Dorm 39 was blue on one side and red on the other, Dawn and me. The bed was red for me, and blue for Dawn. The back wall was a glass window, with patterned maroon and gold curtains. The restroom was closer to me while the door was closer to Dawn. We each had a nightstand with three drawers in each, made of simple wood. The light was a simple white light on the ceiling fan.

Dawn crashed on her bed. "Ah!" she exclaimed. "This is so comfy!"

I decided to organize my stuff, so that I wouldn't end up like at home. I told Dawn this, and added, "Maybe you should do the same."

"Nah. I'm going to go take a warm shower. I feel so dirty," she replied, then proceeded to walk to the restroom and close the door. I sighed and arranged my stuff. Oh, and I forgot to mention we had our own closets on our respective sides of the bed. I hung my clothes in the closet and I would put my toothbrush and such in the restroom once Dawn came out... if she ever did.

My fanny pack would stay right on my nightstand, where I could easily grab it in case of emergency. I left on my bandana because I always left it on, even when I sleep. Just reminds me of home.

After about 30 minutes, Dawn finally came out of the shower. Her hair was blow-dried to perfection while she wore her blue Piplup pajamas.

"Dawn!" I exclaimed, getting up from my bed. "You took so long! I almost thought you fell asleep in there!"

"May, stop exaggerating," Dawn ordered firmly. I rolled my eyes.

"My turn," I said, then walked to the restroom and shut the door. I placed my toothbrush and toothpaste in a little glass jar near the sink. My pajamas I hung on a bar. The room was white tiled. Classic.

I stripped then took a ten-minute shower, then towel-dried my hair and such. I came out with my red pajamas.

"May!" Dawn exclaimed, getting up from playing an online jigsaw puzzle on her phone. "You took so long! I almost thought you fell asleep in there!"

I rolled my eyes. "I took ten minutes and you took thirty," I pointed out.

"Whatever!" Dawn said, then continued playing her puzzle. I crashed on the bed and looked at the time. 7:00 p.m.

Classes start tomorrow, at 8:00 a.m., so I clicked off my lamp and fell asleep.

So how was that? Too long even though it was like 1650 words? Next chapter will be in Misty's POV and it will show her dorm. And I was going to update yesterday, but I had a sudden nosebleed and then I was too tired to write so yeah. And then I spent the morning playing Minecraft with my friends.

Now thank you, again, to everyone who viewed this book, thank you so much!

Please review! Don't be silent! I want to see how I can improve my writing and what are my strong points.

Good luck! Until next time!
