Twenty years after Rokuro and Benio saved the world, a lot had changed.

"Hey Sae, do you want to stop by a karaoke bar with us?" asked a girl at Rokuro and Benio's old school as the kids got ready to leave.

"Sorry, I have training today," said a fifteen-year-old version of Sae whose right eye was red and the other green. Her hair was a dark purple, and the tips of her pony tales were the same colors as her eyes but on the opposite sides.

"Being the daughter of an exorcist family must be tough," said another girl as they watched Sae leave. While she was leaving the school, something kept following her in the shadows.

"I'm home!" said Sae after walking into her house.

"Welcome home, how was school?" asked Benio who was making talismen in the living room.

"Good, I got straight As on my last tests," said Sae as she pulled out her report card.

"That's great, I'll make some Onigiri for after dinner," said Rokuro as he came from the kitchen in an apron.

"Sounds great, dad, I'm going to train until dinner time," said Sae. A few minutes later, she had changed clothes and gone to the training room under the house.

"You can come out now, Junban," said Sae. The shadow that had been following her then transformed into a Basara her age.

"Holding that form for a long time sure locks my joints up," said Junban as he stretched. Unlike other Basaras, his skin was lighter and his eyes were those of a human.

"How about we spar so you can work them out then?" asked Sae as she put her fists up.

"Sounds good to me," said Junban as he readied. Meanwhile, Rokuro and Benio were up stairs.

"Whoa, she's training hard today," said Benio as they heard an explosion.

"But why is she training this hard?" asked Rokuro before another explosion. The two then went to check on her.

"Everything alright down… here?" asked Benio while coming down stairs and seeing Junban.

"Get away from our daughter!" said Rokuro as he jumped at him, grabbing a talisman from his side as he did so.

"Dad wait, Junban is my friend!" said Sae as she got between them, stopping him from using the talisman.

"What?!" asked Rokuro as he pulled back.

"Looks like we'll have to explain it to them," said Junban who was nervous.
