Hi everyone and so sorry for the super late update. So I have good news and bad news.

Good news first. I finished my Fractions workbook! So that's one less thing I have to do. And Dad may be going back to work soon, so maybe extended screen time!

Bad news. My brother developed a new thing I do: work out. I mean, it's not all that bad, but I swear I am so sore from doing five sets of ten push-knee-ups (since I can't do push-ups) and sit ups and squats. And I'm so tired ugh! Wake up at 8 bed at 10 ish why am I tired? Probably because of my brain getting overworked. I'm starting to get mad at Dad.

Summer-Work my brain off. School year-Work my brain off. Next summer-work my brain off. It just doesn't make any sense. But I have no choice. 😭

Spoiler Alert: For those who haven't watched the Alola League!

Anyways, enough with my complaining, and onto the story!

Chapter IV- Dawn's POV

I skipped to the first class on my schedule when I got a text.

May❤: Hi I've got Coordinating Combinations first what about u

I glanced at my schedule while walking.

Me: Top Coordinators

May❤: aww man come on anyways good luck

Me: Thx May

May has an unhealthy habit of texting people when she's nervous. I guess I've got some of a problem on fashion but that's necessary.

I had just put my phone away when I bumped into someone. "Sorry," I muttered as I tried to get to class.

"Hi Troublesome," said the person. Alarmed, I looked up and sure enough, the purple-haired Paul stood there, glaring at me.

"Oh. It's you," I managed, then started to run to my next class. Ugh! I thought school would be fun, but not when Paul is here.

Wait, if Paul is here, that means...

May's POV

After I texted Dawn, I scrambled to my first class, eager to make a good impression by showing up early. But then I turned a corner and bumped into someone. I brushed past them to keep going but they grabbed my hand and turned me around.

"Hi May. Didn't think you would be here," sneered a voice I knew all too well.

"Drew," I said. Ugh, and I thought this was actually going to be a good semester.

"Well, see you around," he said, then flipped his hair and walked past me. I clenched my fists in anger. Ugh, Drew always has to ruin everything! I hate him so much!

But, Drew is here, which means that...

Misty's POV

I sighed and got to class on time. Which is very important in my point of view.

I got to class actually pretty early. So when I sat down at the wood desks, I started reading a book I found about water-types. I was reading about how Magikarp evolves into the powerful Gyarados when someone dropped their red hat on my book.

I sat up and whipped out my mallet. But then I stopped. That Pikachu and messy hair and sheepish grin could only belong to...

"Ash Ketchum," I said.

"Hey Mist!" he nearly gave me a bear-hug but I hit him just in time. "OWWIE!"

"Pika chu pi!" Misty!

"Hi Pikachu." It jumped off Ash's shoulder and let me pet it. Then I turned to Ash. "How did you get here?"

"I won the Alola League, duh," he answered. Pikachu scrambled onto his shoulder.

Ash Ketchum, winning the Alola League?! That, in my mind, was impossible.

I sighed again. Ash was about to say something, but then the teacher came in and I put my book away. Ash glumly returned to his seat.

I wondered why Ash was in Water-types. Obviously he would be in some Battling class that Leaf would have.

And if Ash is here, that means...

Leaf's POV

I skipped along, humming to myself. I was onto Battling today and had just split up with Misty. Suddenly, a HUNDRED fangirls materialized and ran me over. I rubbed my head from getting pushed to the ground. I looked at the hoard of fangirls and immediately felt bad for the person at the center of attention.

I pushed to the front and instantly my heart dropped into my stomach. That sinking feeling of DREAD came over me. Then I didn't feel so bad. Because the person was...

Gary freaking Oak.

I ran to the back of the fangirls, which was pretty hard because they were all pushing forwards, and left the hallway. I would have to take the longer way to Battling but I didn't want to meet Gary.

I wondered why Gary was here. He must've applied from Sinnoh. But why didn't I hear about it in Pallet Town? He would've been bragging about it ALL the time! But if Gary's here, that means...

Okay! This is all for Chapter IV. I know it is very very very short for a long wait, but I may be able to post another chapter by next week.

I am also really happy that I can finally hold an octave for a 1 minute piece on the piano! And my fingers don't hurt by it anymore! Aya!

And please have a happy rest of July (unlike me I just can't wait until school starts so I can have a regular routine again sarcasm unintended) or whatever month you are in.

Oh and after this story is finished, I'll post the same story but edited and maybe keep this one as Really? First draft.

See ya
