Drew knew that he had hit the jackpot with his new wife. She was everything he had been hoping for in a wife. She is cute, sexy, smart and laughs at his jokes. She cannot cook, but that is okay. We will have to take some cooking lessons and go from there.

Liz had gone through their apartment and filmed it to show to her in-laws where they were living. She loved their apartment, but she knew that she was falling fast for the man she had married a few weeks before. It was fate that brought the two of them together, but she knew that it was a gift from heaven.

"Drew, do we meet with the doctor and pastor tonight or is that Monday night. I have a showing Friday night, so I need to make sure that we plan for something and then must cancel and reschedule. I want to ask them about us going to see the family since we both have some extra time. I am going to take a bath now. Do you want to join me or just watch?"

Drew laughed. He knew what she was doing, and it was fine with him. They were married and felt that if Elizabeth gets pregnant it would fine with both. They wanted a few children so the sooner the better. He went over to see her in the tub that she loves. The room was a bit steamy from the heat of the tub. She leaned back and Drew just forgot everything he had planned for the day, week or maybe even month. He got undressed and followed her.

Liz moved up so he could get behind her. The two of them loved being close like this every chance they got. The two of them were like teenagers when it came to sex. It was free and liberating to have someone that you know has your back and will protect you from everything.

"I talked to Pastor Smith and he told me that we have the meeting tonight. The showing is tomorrow and hopefully after the show, we can either rent a car or fly to Port Charles. I was thinking about renting a car so we can take our time and enjoy our time alone until we get there."

"That sounds doable. I love going for long rides, but it used to be on the back of the motorcycle in the painting. Just know that Jason and I have ridden together on the bike, but we have never been involved sexually. We kissed a lot, but that was it. I was still unsure about myself after I had been raped when I was fifteen. You are really my first if you do not count the rape. I was too busy between college and the gallery. I dated, but nothing serious. I just thought you should know."

The two of them just relaxed in the tub and Drew realized how much she was hurt like he was when they were growing up. The two of them went to the gallery to make sure that the photos that Liz gave Ruby were true sellers. "Ruby, I have your favorite smoothie and I have some more photos to show you. I am not sure if the printing paper did its justice or not. I am thinking about getting a mini photo lab going somewhere. I might have to use one of the offices that we do not use if you do not mind. I think they will come out better that way."

Ruby looked at Drew. She really was happy for her best friend. "I am thinking about stretching my wings too. Not as much as you did, but I have been invited to one of those speed dating things. It might be cool. The photos are gorgeous. There is nothing wrong with them. If you want to set up a photo lab here, I have no problem. I am going to let you go till tomorrow. Franco and I have a date. We are going to see a Red Sox game at Fenway against the mean lousy Yankees. Thanks, Drew, for bringing her here."

Drew did not know what to say. He just loved hanging out with his wife. He even liked going grocery shopping. He would never tell Liz that. The two of them left for their meeting at four. The crew was there ready for their session with the Cains. They were going to be separated at first and then the last half hour was the two of them together. Liz went to see Pastor Smith while Drew went to see Dr. Miller.
"Drew, how has it been since the honeymoon? I know that a lot has happened especially with finding out that you wife was friends with the family you did not even know about. I can see that you are happy because I am not sure if that smile on your face was even that big while you were on your honeymoon."

Drew knew that he was head over heels for his wife. "Okay. When I saw her at the altar, it was a bit mind blowing. I have seen her a couple of times before we made it to the wedding. I saw her leaving one of her interviews, showing of her paintings and when she had gone on a bridal scavenger hunt. I had hoped and prayed that she was the one that I was marrying. I know it might sound corny, but it was like we were meant to be. Then my family who I never met before are close to her. Her own family did not want anything to do with her, but her to go to school here. It had to be fate. When we started talking, it was like I have known her forever. Right now, I have time to go meet my family in Port Charles. I have another month or so, before teaching again. Liz, she has a showing tomorrow night at the gallery she works at. It is mainly photos from our honeymoon. She is going to change that to paintings later. Her boss is going to close the gallery down for the month while she visits family down south."

Dr. Miller thanked Drew and told him that it was time for everyone to meet in the main room. Liz and Pastor Smith had just finished up their chat that was basically the same as Drew's with Dr. Miller.

Drew and Liz sat next to each other and held hands. "I just want to say that I am very impressed with our chat, Drew. I think that meeting your family in Port Charles will do you both some good. I guess I will have to break up my team. We will have to follow you somewhat and meet your family if they do not mind. It is part of the show that you both signed up for and it might help having others around to make things a little less tense. Liz, I will give you a call Wednesday and I will tell you who will be coming to Port Charles."

"I can tell you that the best place to stay is the Metro Court Hotel. It is the favorite among the people who live there and visit there. I am not sure exactly where we will be staying but I am hoping for the gate house there. It would be easier to film and not get into everyone else's business."

Pastor Smith knew it was going to be him that went there. Dr. Miller had two other couples to think about and they needed her help more than the Cains. A few minutes later, everyone said goodbye and Liz felt like she was free from the principal's office.

"I need to call Emily. I know that Lila will put us up in the gate house. I just have to ask before we go. I think that Pastor Smith will be the one checking on us. Dr. Miller is going to have to take care of the other two couples on her own. Let's get something to eat. I could go for some Italian food. It is right down the road."

"You are something else. Every-day I learn something else about you. I do know that we make a very good team. I know the way, so do we walk, run or take a cab? I know that you want to walk. I am glad that it is not far from the "Green Line" we need to take to get home."

The meal was great and Drew got more than he expected while they waited for their meal. Liz had a couple of glasses of wine while Drew drank his usual beer. He loved the taste and never wanted to try another kind. Liz sat down really close to Drew. She cuddled into him and she was smiling making it very hard for him to concentrate on their meal. When they left the restaurant he told her that he wanted her as soon as they got home.

They walked a little faster to the "T" so they could board it and go home. They got off the train and walked the two blocks home when it started to rain, just a light rain. It felt good and then Drew kissed her. She felt that kiss all the way down to her toes. They ran when the rain picked up and were drenched when they got into the lobby of their building.

They looked at everyone and smiled. Drew looked at his neighbor, "It is a bit humid out there. I hope you have your umbrella. We forgot." Then the two of them laughed and get into the elevator and went to their apartment. The first thing the two of them did was get out of their wet clothes. They threw them on the washer and ran to the shower. Drew turned the shower on and the two of them helped themselves to the suds and each other. Liz loved the way he knew just where to touch her. She shivered a little and Drew thought it was because the water was getting too cool. She laughed and told him it was because of him.

They got into their robes and cuddled on the couch. Drew was watching on of his favorite action packed movies and Liz was sketching from one of her favorite honeymoon photos. It was the waterfall that they had gone to check out on one of their many excursions.

She was going to have it finished when she came back from Port Charles. It was going to hang over their bed. It was not meant for anyone but them. Drew saw what she was doing and was amazed at how talented his wife was and knew that someday she was going to have her own gallery.

The two went to sleep and knew that the next day was going to be busy. It took a little time to relax so Liz told him all about the people in Port Charles was to him and to her. He fell sound asleep when she started talking about Sonny and Carly. She laughed and then cuddled up close to him and fell asleep.

Liz woke up to the smell of fresh coffee, bacon and eggs. She knew how important this night was going to be and that she was really excited to start it. She grabbed her plate and cup and went over to kiss the cook. He laughed because she knew exactly where to touch him to make him laugh. "I am going to burn my eggs, if you keep it up. Then I will have to take your food from you and you will be hungry. It is too important of a day to do that."

He looked at her and she smiled and grabbed another piece of bacon. The two of them had a nice routine going when it came to him helping her at the gallery. He knew what to do because he used to help Franco set up his art. Franco was a bit different than the ordinary artist and sometimes, it made Drew wonder if the art was real or just his imagination. Some of it though was beyond weird, but he didn't tell him. The critics ate his art up so who was he to know.

The day went by with all the things the three of them were setting up for the show. Franco and Curtis came by after lunch and helped them too. Franco would never say it but he really liked Liz's photos. Curtis was in awe of the talent that his best friend's wife had and he gave her a big hug to show her that he approved. Drew looked at him and he just smiled. "I wonder what is going to happen when your twin sees how good the two of you look together. It is just going to remind him of what he threw away. Just be careful."

"Curtis if you want to come and check out Port Charles then you are welcome. The same goes for you, Franco. I am sure that Liz would invite Ruby if she wasn't going to see her family. Let's get this thing going because tomorrow, I am going to see the "family".

Ruby and Liz dressed to kill that night. The place was packed and the producers from "Married at First Sight" were there too. The two other couples were there to see Liz's photos from their honeymoon. They wanted to see if the young couple did anything different than they did. The photos were beautiful. There were a couple of them that were of the waterfalls that were not far from the resort. The other photos that were the most wanted was the horseback ride at sunset. Liz knew how to do "selfies" so you could see the couples' outline but not their full features. It made it look like it could be anyone on that horse at sunset. The other couples wanted it so bad, but Dr. Miller was the one that snatched it up. She planned on putting it in her office for other couples to see what their future might hold for them.

Pastor Smith bought the photos of the waterfall. His wife had been wanting to go there and he was going to surprise her with the photographs and then a trip done to the resort. He just had to find the time. The night was an overall success. Ruby knew that she was going to cut her trip short and go with Franco and Curtis to Port Charles.

When everything was totaled up, Ruby was way ahead of what she thought she would get. The photos were amazing and there were plenty of people who tried to outbid another for a specific photo. Liz was finding out that this medium could bring in the big dollars just like her paintings.

When everyone was leaving, Ruby asked Elizabeth to step into her office for a minute. Elizabeth followed her boss and mentor into the office and sat down. "I have been thinking about our future. Franco and I are thinking about getting together and opening up a gallery. We are going to put both of our galleries up for sale and I was hoping that you would like to partner with us? I know that this is a big step, but you have so much talent and I know that you will achieve a lot of success. The other thing is I am going to Atlanta for two weeks and then meet you in Port Charles. I hope you don't mind if Franco, Curtis and I will check out your old hometown."

Elizabeth was very humbled by what her friend and boss just said. "I would love for you all to meet us in Port Charles. Just tell us when you are coming and we will set you up either at the Quartermaines or the Metro Court. I love you Ruby. You have helped me in more ways than one. Thank you doesn't seem enough. I am going home and resting up for my trip home tomorrow. Have a safe flight tomorrow. Give my love to your family."

The two said their goodbyes and Elizabeth left with Drew. They made it home and Drew just looked at his amazing wife. "Are you going to tell me what is going on or do I have to ask Franco? I know that something is going on with him and Ruby. The way he talks about her is that she is the one for him. Now we just need to find Curtis someone."

"They plan on selling their galleries and get one together. They want me to become a partner too. She also said that she was only staying two weeks and then our friends are coming to Port Charles to see my old hometown. I love you Drew! You are the world to me."

The two fell into bed exhausted. Elizabeth was asleep before her head hit the pillow. Drew got undressed and helped Elizabeth out of her clothes into something more comfortable.

The next morning Elizabeth woke up in Drew's Navy t-shirt. "Let's get ready to fly to Buffalo. I have a car waiting for us there so we can drive over to see our family. I talked to Grandmother a few days ago and she has the guest house ready for us." Elizabeth grabbed her bag and they made it to the waiting cab. The ride was a bit longer due to the construction that is always going on around the city. The airport was just starting to get busy. They put their luggage in and went to get their seats.

When security saw Drew and Elizabeth together, they recognized the couple from their honeymoon trip a month before and one of the guards told Elizabeth that he bought a couple of her photos. Elizabeth blushed and the two of them were hurried through security like they were royalty.

They were sitting in their seats when the flight attendant recognized the look of the newlyweds. "I can see that glow the two of you have, how long have you been married?"

Elizabeth told her about a month. Drew held her hand when the plane took off. Elizabeth was in awe of being with her husband. He was so sweet and attentive to her. She was not used to that at all. Most of the men she had dated only wanted one thing from her, but she wasn't the type that she met someone and had sex. She was excited but anxious about going home. She couldn't wait to see Lila and Emily. There were a few people that she just wanted to avoid, but being Port Charles, it was going to be impossible.

Drew helped Elizabeth get her things and the two of them walked off the plane and headed to get their luggage. Drew went and picked up the keys to their sports car that he had rented. It was a beauty and perfect to driving fast. He loved driving, but living in Boston, it didn't happen too often. It was not worth it.

When the two newlyweds made it to Port Charles an hour after getting their rental, Elizabeth was famished. She had called Emily to meet them at Kelly's. "I called to have your sister meet us at Kelly's. This is going to be my first big test and yours. Everyone is going to think that they are seeing double when you walk in. Although, your brother will probably be in black."

Emily saw the two of them walking hand in hand. She rushed over to open the door for them to come inside. Emily whispered in her ear that Lucky, Sarah and Carly were inside. Elizabeth was about to turn around and leave when Carly saw Drew.

"I heard you look like Jason, but I thought they were exaggerating. Now, I know that Jason was telling the truth. Hi, I am Carly. Jason is my best friend and I see you married Muffin. I am sorry about that. Muffin is my nickname for Elizabeth. She was working as a waitress right here at Kelly's when I first met her. She is just too sweet for most people. I hope you like sweet."

Drew knew that now was not the best time to say anything until her sister and ex decided to join in with Carly. "You know that my sister will just think of you as a substitute for Jason. She loved him but he couldn't deal with his life with Sonny and her life. Lizzie is just too boring for most people."

Lucky tried to kiss her as a way of saying congrats. Elizabeth pushed him away and then Jason walked in. He saw that Sarah, Carly and Lucky were trying to get under Elizabeth's skin. He could see that she was doing a great job of holding back. He just wished that they would leave her alone like she has done for them. "Carly, we need to go. Drew, I will see you and Elizabeth back up at the house. Thanks Em for calling me. Lucky, I warned you to stay away. You are with her sister so why do you want to hurt Elizabeth's feelings. I know what you want us to think, but I know you better than that. Elizabeth and Drew are off limits. Don't even think about it." He grabbed a hold of Carly and lead her away.

Lucky just kept right on trying to get Elizabeth to respond to him. When she still didn't respond, he grabbed and kissed her. Elizabeth went and smacked him hard. Mac saw the whole incident and went to break it up somehow. "Lucky, you need to let this go. I am sorry Elizabeth. Congrats to both you and Andrew. Your in-laws told me all about your wedding. Don't worry about anything happening out of this. If he bothers you again, just call and I will take care of him to you leave. Lucky, you need to leave now. If you ever want to think about getting another chance here in Port Charles, this craziness needs to stop."

Sarah looked at her sister. She couldn't believe that her younger sister could get one rich son, but two that was ridiculous. She knew that she needed to somehow make amends so she could get what she wanted. She wanted what her sister had and she was going to use any way to get it. "I don't understand how you could forget to invite your own family to your wedding. We had to learn about on television. I guess you figured that you would never find true love the normal way, so you had to go on tv to get it. I understand how you could think that way. I mean you aren't the most lovable in the family."

"This right here is the reason you or anyone else in our family wasn't invited. I am very happy that I interviewed for a chance at love. You can have Lucky. He is too obsessed with himself to think of anyone else. Good luck with that. Drew might not have known who his family was and that is why we are here. This is his chance of getting to know them and for the family to see what a great son and grandson Drew is. I have never been happier and our life back in Boston is perfect. Don't worry, I promise not to invite you there or anyone else in the family. It was nice seeing you Sarah. Bye."

Drew and Elizabeth walked out and got into their rental and headed towards the Quartermaine estate. When they parked the car, Drew held her hand and brought her in for a long deep kiss. Then they went to knock on the front door. Alice opened the door and greeted the young couple. "Ms. Lila is waiting for you in the family room. The guest house is ready for the two of you. The boat is ready if you want to check out the lake later on. Ms. Elizabeth, I bought a couple of your photos from your show yesterday. I should be getting them in a few days. It looks gorgeous where you had your honeymoon. I am sorry, Mr. Drew. I have a tendency to ramble when I am nervous. I want to welcome you to the family."

Drew and Elizabeth went into the family room. Lila was so happy that she had both of her grandsons there. "I wanted to tell you that your older brother, AJ will be here in a couple of days. He and his wife will be bringing their two adorable children with them. This will be the first time that all of Alan's children will be here together. Your Aunt Tracy plans on having her son Ned and Dillon here too. It is going to be a rowdy time. I know that Elizabeth warned you, but until we are all under the same roof at the same time, you will understand this family. I will pray for both of you. Elizabeth knows how it can be, but not with everyone and their baggage. Jason said that he will be here for dinner tonight. He is bringing his girlfriend, Samantha McCall. She is a con artist that is trying to change. I don't think that is going to happen."

Drew just looked at his grandmother. He was shocked that she would say anything bad about anyone. Then for it to be his brother's girlfriend. Ouch! Elizabeth looked at Lila. "That bad. Is she using him for money or something else." Just then Jason walked in with Emily.

"Sam is pregnant with Sonny's child. I am just trying to keep the peace over there. It is a full time job to keep both Sonny and Carly happy. Sam is extra baggage that no one needs, but it is something I have to do to keep it."

Emily looked at her brothers. "Drew, aren't you lucky that you grew up far away from here. You could have been the one that Carly tried to use instead of Jason here. I think that he does it so I will feel sorry for him." She just looks at her brother and laughs. Jason knew that she was teasing, but sometimes what she said hurt.

"Emily, why don't we take your grandmother for a walk in the rose garden before it gets dark. That way the two brothers can talk privately. You need to ease up on your big brother. He does take what you say to heart, even if he doesn't react to it. I can see it in his eyes."

The three of them go out into the garden. Elizabeth takes out her new camera that she got from her husband. She started shooting all around the rose garden and at two of the most important women in her life. "Grandmother, do you think I need to apologize to Jason. I guess I could have kept my mouth shut, but I want so much more for him. I know that it wasn't meant to be with Elizabeth, but there has to be someone that could fit into Jason's life and care for him, like he does for us."

"Emily, my dear. I think you should tell him, what you just said to us. He needs to hear that and not putting the women around him down. He knows, but he feels that he deserves it. I think he would have to leave Port Charles if he is ever going to be happy."

Jason showed Drew around the estate including the gate house where he was going to be staying with Elizabeth. Jason told Drew about how hard it was for Elizabeth growing up here in Port Charles. How she loved art, but her family wanted her to go into medicine like they did. He told her about Lucky, Nik and Emily. How they were always best friends and how her sister, Sarah had come in between Lucky and Elizabeth. Around the time that she tried to get into the university where she graduated from, she saw her sister in bed with Lucky. Then she got caught in the cross-fire of my boss's girlfriend and me. Our grandmother helped her get into the university and helped get her set up there in Boston. It was the best thing for her, but it broke both of our hearts. It was a long time ago and I knew it was for the best, but I still missed her.

I just wanted to be upfront with you. You are a very lucky man. I am so happy for the both of you. When Jason was done telling Drew everything about Elizabeth's life here in Port Charles, it made him think about where they could go to live after everything going on in Boston.

Drew went into the rose garden found his wife, sister and grandmother. Elizabeth took out her camera and Drew tried to be funny, but it didn't work out that way. Lila asked Emily to bring her inside so the newlyweds could have some privacy.

"I was thinking about moving here after we been married a couple of years. I wanted to come straight here first, but I realized that everything we want we have in Boston. We both have our careers there and I was hoping in a year or so to have a child with you. I would like to visit Port Charles every couple of months. I love grandmother and I know that she wont be here forever. I just don't want to miss out on too much."

"Well, that's great. I promised your sister that I would be here slave when it gets a little bit closer to her wedding day with the prince. Your sister is going to be a true princess. She helped me and your grandmother with our wedding plans. I promised to help her. You could be our cheerleader." Drew laughed at his wife and picked her up and swung her around. The two of them laughed until they almost cried.

Emily found the two of them lying on the ground looking up at the stars. "Dinner is being served in thirty minutes. I think the two of you need to go to gate house, changed and brush the grass out of your hair. Nice look sis."

The two of them took off to the car and drove down to the gatehouse. When they walked thru the door, the place was absolutely beautiful. There were candles lit, champagne on ice, and they could smell dinner in the kitchen. Drew just looked at Elizabeth and knew that Jason, Emily and Lila had something to do with the dinner. Emily called her and told her to enjoy, but be at breakfast by nine. Then the torture begins.
