Domino smiled wrapping her healed right arm over her eyes as the slow swaying of the ship lured her to sleep. It had been three months since Marco placed his call, which now has made it a whopping 6 months since the incident on Not So Party island, and now almost a whole year since she first met the Phoenix give or take.
And after this chaotic year she was back on her ship, with her men, in her oceans. Of course, some things had changed since her first meeting with the pirate and as she neared closer to catching up with their ship, she prayed that he would still recognize her.
For one she died her hair back to its original auburn color. She had given up the want to stay unknown when she made the deal with Akainu. She figured her own safety was nothing compared to protecting her crew. And her hair was only for safety so she needed to embrace it.
Not only that but she had more than a few new scars, she pulled her arm away from her eyes to look at one of the bigger ones and sighed before putting it back over her face. Well, she would just have to find out if he recognized her.
Adaline stood between the door frame of the large captain's quarters and the hall. Her eyes fixed on Domino's long and muscular body relaxing on the cot in between two large cabinets. One of them was a liquor cabinet (Domino's favorite) Another a filing cabinet (Adalines favorite).
She shook her head and approached Domino's plain wooden desk and searched through the cluttered but neatly stacked papers for the morning rosters.
She did not mind Domino's simple taste in office décor or organization skills, she just disliked that somehow her best friend had found ways to have assorted pots and planets hanging and swinging with the ship most of the times swing dirt with it.
"Did you sign those blank orders like I said to?" Adaline asked moving to drop the file on a not so sleeping Domino.
Domino curled over the folder with and "oomph" before grabbing it and smiling waving it in the air.
"Sure, yeah. Did our intel confirm they were near here?" She asked ignoring Adaline with a smile.
Adaline shook her head and kicked herself off the chair she had been leaning on. Unlike Domino she did not have to wait to heal so she had spent the last five months training non-stop and felt nearly confident and naturally that reflected in her demeanor now.
"From what I got, we should be like 2 hours ahead of them, but there's something else you should know." Adaline stated her chirpy voice going dry. Domino threw herself up uncrossing her legs and sitting with them wide open.
"Yeah whats up?" She asked cautiously.
Adaline took a second thinking before frowning. "You're not going to like this." She hummed.
Domino ran her hand through her hair and dropped them on her knees "What's up?" Her voice colder then before.
Adaline gave alight 'sorry' smile "We've been called back," She spoke lightly as Domino's heart dropped.
"What? No no?" She asked before putting her head in her hands.
"Are you serious, I was gonna finally be able to fight, fight him. I have a whole plan and everything." She murmured and then sighed as Adaline let out a small smile.
"Maybe we can spare like a few hours, as long as we stay at least two hours away from them at all times? We could circle back and pick you up or something?" she asked as Domino nodded.
"Yes, that. do that just spare me enough time to actually show off. Please." She giggled before standing up and walking towards the small mirror in her cabin and bit her lip moving her hair behind her ears and touching the now visible scar across her nose.
It was ugly pink and fresh, but looked as if someone had worn a nasal strip and it melted to her face. She then shook her head and looked back towards Adaline who watched with a smile.
"What am I doing? Why am I nervous, I took on fucking Akainu and lasted!" She cheered before her face dropping again.
"Oh god, what if I miss read all the sexy moments. I mean, I'm pretty sure we we're on the same page back on that island, then they up and called. But I will be on their ship! With no way out!" She called before shaking her head and taking off her favorite blue shirt with feathers and then quickly changing into a tank top.
Then she threw her hair in a tight bun and fixed her standard issue leather belt across her loose-fitting pants. She opted to leave her Justice jacket off. Due to the fact she wasn't doing this for justice.
She quickly ran her left hand through her hair reveling her shoulder tattoo of a purple rose with a blue bird underneath it. Adaline took a second to inspect the new discoloration of Domino's skin before whistling. "Damn Commodore your ass is still so fine. And may I say, has it gotten bigger?" She asked as a worried Domino looked around and twisted slightly seeing her own curves.
"Oh is that bad?" She asked looking back up towards Adaline who smiled and shook her head giggling as Domino's face dropped. "Ada stop." She stomped her foot whining as Adaline continued to smile.
"I'm sorry girl it's just, I have never seen you so worried. I mean, how many times as he saw you naked by now?" She asked as Domino rolled her eyes.
Adaline nodded "Not just that but he like literally healed you, I think you should be fine. Besides I need you to go, because I need you to give Thatch something for me. I feel like kind of bad screwing him for a shower you know?" She asked as Domino's face dropped and she mumbled. "Whore."
Adaline quickly swatted Domino who now held her cheek as Adaline handed her a cardboard tube. "Listen, Girl, we can't technically be in these waters so if we have to leave and you're not back, I'll declare you MIA. Got it?" She smiled.
As Domino leaned around her staring at the wide open sea as a glimpse of a ship appeared in the distance.
"Is that them?" She asked smiling. "If so, we're not two hours away~" She hummed to herself a smile in her voice.
Adaline shrugged before grabbing her rifle and placing it through the open window and twisting the scope. She twisted it once, Domino bit her lip. She twisted it twice Domino bounced nervously. Adaline squinted watching tiny little men walk around on the white whale's head and smiled narrowing her sights on a Pompadoured man who was now waving his arms and pointing in their direction.
Domino watched as a simple smile appeared on Adeline's face. Domino smiled as she watched Adaline move to flick off the safety and put her fingers gingerly on the trigger.
Domino may have improved more with control and effort but Adaline by far had the biggest skill gap and now easily overcame it with a simple pull of the trigger.
Domino looked back towards the window and the recoil that hit Adaline and smiled. "Well?" She asked as Adaline nodded and looked back through the scope. "Tell Thatch he looks cuter like that." She hummed as Domino nodded giving a light dance.
"Collusion, Collusion~" she hummed happily as Adaline laughed and began to sing with her.
Suddenly they stopped when a sharped chin man stood before them his arms crossed and his leg a brand new shinning metal. He held up his arms and smiled "So, I don't believe I heard that sir. But, you guys aren't going to like this." He stated looking at the two-woman beaming happy smiles.
Domino ran her hand through her hair and pulled on it lightly dislodging the well-done bun. "Every time y'all say you're not gonna like this. I already don't like this so please tell me what this is that I'm not gonna like." She mumbled moving over to plop herself down on her desk.
Gator nodded "The special booze you planned to give Whitebeard?" He asked crossing his arms as Domino gave him wide eyes, "Yes.." She asked waving her hand for him to continue.
Gator brought up his shoulders lightly, "The men spilled it." He rushed quickly. Domino sighed, her smile, her shoulders, her very mood dropped.
"What, why. It was sealed. How could you guys spill it?" She asked him with confusion before looking at Adaline who covered her amused smile.
"Why is this funny?" She asked as Adaline juts shrugged beginning to giggle to herself, "No, nothing just." She shrugged trying to hide her face.
Domino took in a deep breath looking at Gator, "Okay, is there anything left?" She asked Gator nodded then shook his head no.
Domino gave him a concerned glance. "Well? Yes, no." She stated as Gator gave a guilty smile "Well, it spilled into our cups sir."
Domino blinked.
Gator looked behind Adaline who vigorously waved for him to run then back at Domino. Who once more blinked her face shifting in an uneasy way. First from a blank stare then to a confused glance before a delicate eerie smile crossed her face. "Gator, are you telling me, not only did my men, drink my booze! But you didn't invite me while you drank it?" She asked her head tilting as she did so.
Gator looked back at Adaline who was waving her arms like a mad woman for him to leave. He just tilted his head furrowing his eyebrows before going wide eyed and jumping back. "SHIP!" He yelled before running towards the top deck.
Domino looked back at Adaline and went wide eyed as the large Whales head was now fast approaching sails out and a tall Captain standing firm. His men at the ready.
"Shit," Domino growled before quickly grabbing her justice jacket and rushing towards the deck as Adaline looked back and sprinted after her Captain.
"How, How, how?" She called as they bounded up the stairs. Domino looked back at Adaline and let out a blood chilling smile. "When you shot them Ada!" She called as Adaline stopped going frantic.
"But how did they get here so fast!" She called back confused at the speed of this large ship. They weren't two hours behind but they also could not have been a mere matter of minutes away. There was no way. She then paused and shook her head slapping her face how could she be so reckless Whitebeards devil fruit was how they got there so fast.
"This may be better then what I planned." Domino stated with a smile before flinging the doors open to see terrified Marines run across the ship. Quickly she stepped out and called out orders.
"Get those sail's tied at the ready, get the barrels out get that black powder tied up. This isn't just random pirates we got the heavy hitters, Get prepared or go below deck!" She shouted tossing glances towards the massive ship getting ready to get within boarding distance any moment.
Adaline looked at Domino before tossing her rifle behind her back and quickly climbing the main mast. She would provide coverage and keep men from stepping on the ship.
Domino smiled hopping in place before twisting her wrists in anticipation for the battle to come. Gator looked away from one of his maps and then looked up at his eager captain and called out.
"Commodore, we got some other ships in the area if you want to call for backup-" He started before quickly quieting at her face as she turned around her wide blood thirsty smile freighting him.
"We, anit running, Gator." She smirked before hearing a relaxed tone from behind her.
"Why not, I hear a chase is half the fun-yoi?"
Domino turned around quickly to see Marcos teasing smile as he stuck out his tongue.
"Trust me Phoenix. I'm all the fun you need." She called before tossing her jacket off at him and watching as he quickly dodged and extend his leg in the air his arms becoming those flaming blues and helping him land a harsh boat shaking blow to the newly established auburn haired woman.
She held her blackened arms in an 'X' shape unmoving as Marco gave her a surprised look. The pressure before the two causing waves that shook both boats.
"Ouch," She teased as His smile formed before he quickly twisted trying to catch her with another kick. Quickly she maneuvered her arms to grab his right leg and pinch down on his unchanged muscles.
He 'tcked' and sent a blast of air with his wings knocking her back with a light yelp. He leaned on the deck and shook his head "That hurt-yoi," he responded a smile on his face.
"I see you picked up a new trick-yoi." He smirked taking in her new firm form. Her shoulders stood taller, her stomach had a small out line of muscles as well as her arms. Despite these changes she didn't look any less gorgeous then the first day he saw her. Yet, he already knew that, what he was more eager to know was just how strong she had gotten.
He watched as she gave a soft pout, "Wow, Air, so scary." She laughed as he watched her look around her crew already deciding to let her have the deck. They knew that she would need it.
"If that's all you got then that's kinda sad Phoenix." She smiled at him as he shook his head.
"You're getting to cocky, marine careful-yoi." He teased as the excitement began to drive him mad.
Domino glanced at him her cold voice lighting up. "What? I'm right here." She called to him her arms wide open.
He smirked beginning to run towards her before he stopped. This was to easy; the deck was clear and the Marine was cocky. He glanced at her wrists to see they had not been twisting.
"I almost fell for it-yoi." He started goading her before he put a hand on his waist and let his relaxed stance take over.
Domino shrugged "Actually, no tricks." She called before taking her best foot forward. He looked down, that was it. She wasn't wearing shoes and she was wiggling her toes.
Domino smirked as she saw Marco glance towards the sky and waited. She was excited but she couldn't let this get the best of her, they were both thinkers, granted he was more suited to the short cons she was well aware of playing a long con.
Quickly Marco jumped his legs pushing off the ground as Domino's twisted vines appeared. He looked down with a smile, only he didn't see the small Marine from the ground and gave a quick smirk before he saw it.
Little blurs danced around the ship one on the railing another on the second mast and the third. He searched for the third before a hard force from behind his back forced the breath from his lungs.
Adaline went wide eyed as the majestic Marco was spiked to the ground by Domino's wicked smirk and her hands balled up and wrapped in thorns. She watched as wood collapsed around a now emerging Marco and Domino land on the deck her stance still proud and strong.
She watched as blue flames wrapped around Marco catching some of the boards before going out as he walked towards her a small frown on his face. Adaline barely pulled herself from the onslaught of hits and misses that Domino and Marco engaged in before putting her eyes in her scope and looking down at a large, what seemed to be a sign?
She furrowed her eyebrows and looked again a small smile gracing her lips as she looked at the sign.
"Angel from above, Do U Like me? Shoot yes or no!" It read and beside him was a red barrel with a sloppy painted 'yes,' and a black barrel with the same sloppy writing painted also 'yes'.
She tilted her head as the very ship shook at the force of the two below and she loaded her rifle and took aim. Domino wasn't the only one who learned some new tricks.
Domino instantly dropped as a gun shot pierced through the battle. Marco looked up thoughtfully for a second before Domino confident the shot wasn't for her jumped up fist at the ready only to be pushed aside by Marcos guiding hand. A smirk on his face as she continued to advance. As this happened she tried hard not to look the relaxed man in the eyes.
If she did, she would smile and lose her train of thought and if she did that, then well she would lose wouldn't she?
Suddenly she was jarred from her thoughts as he caught her arm and quickly twisted it around bringing her body with it and holding her arms down across her body and his chest against her back. He lowered his head so his lips rested above her ear.
She could feel the heat between them rising as she quickly caught her breath as his arms pulled her tighter. She could feel his bare chest against her and bit her lip trying to break his hold. "I win-yoi." He cooed. His breath dancing along her skin and causing her to shiver.
Quickly she scoffed and slammed her blackened bare foot on his only to notice that he had moved just in time and splinters of wood flew from the impact of her heel.
Marco quickly moved his leg and knocked out her's so she fell forward. In this second Domino pulled her arms free and twisted around catching Marco straight in the jaw causing his body to stumble back against the mast in shock as she landed on the ground and quickly rebounded kicking her legs up and kneeling.
Instantly as Marco shook his head wiping his mouth and the small bit of blood that came from his lip she began twisting her wrists.
Adaline looked down in fear as the mast began to wobble causing her to lose her balance. She looked on to see a crowd of pirates watching as she struggled to hold on to the mast, then back down at the two now trying to one up the other with pure punches.
She took a breath and shook her head moving with wobbly legs to move to the other mast. However mid-step Domino's body was knocked through the mast and rolling backwards till she hit the other one coming to a sudden halt.
Adaline looked down slowly in fear as the mast she stood on now began to lean sideways with creeks and groans. She looked over to the Whitebeards who signaled and called for her to jump and then at the marines watching closely through windows.
Quickly she shot out her arms trying to keep her balance and ran along the yard careful to avoid the tying ropes. However as she neared the edge the sail began to wobble again as the two down below clashed once more.
She shook her head in disbelief and let out a high-pitched shriek as she lost her footing and felt nothing but air beneath her.
Thatch watched in fear as the red head angel from above miss-stepped and her body plummeted towards the sea below. Suddenly he was imbued with the urge to save the fallen angel. And so he did without a seconds notice he launched himself towards her his arms out ready to catch her the after math playing in his head as he did so. She would be grateful and have no choice but to cement their love with a kiss.
However before he could wrap his loving arms around her a large shadow of a hand crossed him mid jump. He watched in awe and anger as Whitebeards large hand wrapped around the small woman and pulled her back towards the ship with a cheer.
He watched slowly hovering in the air before he looked back and collided with a hard object tumbling across the marine's deck.
Domino gave a light glance to her left before looking on in fear as a large man came hurdling towards her colliding with her and taking her across the deck till they hit the railing both groaning in pain.
Domino rubbed her head flecks of wood falling from her hair as she did so and rubbed the blurry dark specks out of her eyes before she looked down at the pompadoured man nuzzled perfectly between her breasts and tilted her head in confusion before watching a now irritated Marco walk across the deck towards the both of them.
She looked back down at the groaning Thatch who had swirls for eyes and quickly grabbed him by the collar and tossed his body towards Marco who held out his arms to catch him with a quick worried look.
Marco looked down at the dazed Thatch in annoyance and took a second to check his eyes to make sure he was okay as Thatch swatted him away murmuring. "Pineapples."
Marco rolled his eyes seeing he was okay and looked down holding Thatch up, "Stay out of the way-yoi." He growled before Thatch went wide eyed coming to.
"Wha-" Suddenly Marco pushed him away from Domino who's fist was ready for Marco instead his attempted failed as her right arm connected with Thatch and effectively sending him flying back towards the Whitebeards ship with groan.
Domino looked at Thatch wide eyed and then at a even more pissed of Marco and then let out a nervous laugh. "Well, this is awkward." She teased before Marco appeared before her, her eyes widening in fear before he saw the change in her smile.
He quickly tried to take a step back but it was to late he fell for it. She goaded him in by punching his brother.
Adaline looked at her savior with wide and grateful eyes "Thank you sir, So much." She asked as Whitebeard set her down carefully. "It's no problem lass!" He called as she smiled before her face suddenly contorted in pain as a force collided with her from the back.
The crew went wide eyed and yelled in surprise as Thatch laid sprawled out over Adaline who squirmed to get out from under him yelling profanity that would only be thought of in one's imagination.
Suddenly a cry from Izo pulled everyone's attention back towards the Marine deck. There before their eyes Marco was down. His limbs tied up with what seemed like black vines all with budding black roses pulling him in different directions. They watched with surprise as Marco actually let out a small groan of pain and snapped his head towards the smiling Marine who stood proudly looking down at him.
Domino looked on surprised smiling like a madman as she bit her lip then moved her fingers tightening the grip on her haki covered vines. She watched as Marcos body was now bowed outwards as she did a small dance.
"So, I personally hate the people who brag, Because it's annoying but, now I know why. I mean honestly this feels pretty damn nice. How you like my weeds now phoenix?" She asked him winking as he let out a light chuckle inspecting his arms trying to twist his wrist only for her to tighten the vines with every move.
He 'tcked' "They're annoying that's for sure-yoi." He smiled before getting an idea relaxing. "But that's about it-yoi." He sighed his body relaxing and his eyes closing.
He would have to wait her out, her haki wouldn't last forever, nor would her patience.
Domino titled her head dropping her wrists for a second before keeping them up. "What are you up to?" She hummed to him. This wasn't right, he wouldn't just give up. Even if she had won. No no this wasn't right.
Marco tried the best he could to shrug before lifting his head to give a quick glance at the unnerved Marine. Her smile dropping lightly. He tried to hide his own smile as he moved to look back up at the wide blue sky.
"Nothing-yoi." He called. Domino gave him a wide-eyed look before cautiously taking a step forward. "No not nothing, there's something, there's no way." She called at him again this time taking a few more steps trying to stay away from any limb of his.
Marco gave a her another quick glance and then closed his eyes again. "You got me-yoi." He stated trying to bite back his teasing smile. It was true she did have him tied up in an uncomfortable way but there was still plenty of ways he could escape.
But why just escape? That wouldn't be fun. Watching the cool and calm Marine have a mini anxiety attack however was pretty fun to watch.
"No, No I don't, I mean yes. But no?" She asked him before Marco let out a small chuckle at her soft voice.
"No-yoi." He stated as Domino nodded "Right, right that's-" She went wide eyed and jumped back as the vines began to tear and Marco sprung forward once more. "Shit!" She hissed as she just managed to dodge a kick.
A smiling Marco flying by her face as they watched each other's expression. Quickly he landed once more and twisted around to swing his leg only to have Domino block it once more her arms sturdy and still above her head.
However Marco was ready, suddenly he grabbed her arms pulling his leg back and holding her down his own sadistic grin now matching her bloodthirsty smile. She looked up her perfect lips right before his.
"Now you, got me." She teased leaning in slightly as he held her hands down and moved in closer feeling his body heat up in anticipation before he pulled back her sexy smile fading.
"I almost fell for it-yoi." He responded as she rolled her eyes and picked up her leg. Anticipating an attack Marco stepped back but looked on in surprise as she quickly pulled down on his arms uncrossing hers and seemed to bend around his body kicking the back of his knee and appeared behind him her blackened arm wrapping around his neck.
He put his hands up to hers as he watched Vines appear from a nearby barrel and quickly begin to wrap around his legs as he took deep breaths feeling her tighten her hold. He felt shivers crawl down his spine as she leaned in, her chest on his shoulders pushing against him as well.
"No, I think I won." She whispered in that sultry voice of hers. He only smirked as he pulled from her hold and quickly pushed up snapping the vines as he began to soar towards the sky, quickly leaving the Marines ship.
Domino looked down at the ships deck and quickly took in a deep breath letting go of Marcos neck and then digging her very nails in to his chest. "FIRCKEN FUCK Marco!" She called burying her head in the back of Marcos neck to his confident smile.
He tossed back a glance "What's wrong Marine? Scared of heights-yoi?" He teased as he looked down in surprise as her nails began to cut in to his skin.
"Ha! You kidding, never." She weakly called out her eyes closed, and head held against his chest. Marco nodded and looked up towards the clouds and then back down at the ship to see all the tiny people straining to look up.
"So higher then-yoi?" He asked.
Domino nodded hoping he didn't see her terrified face. "Sure, why not don't bother me none." She called over the beating of her terrified heart. Marco smiled "If you say so-yoi." Before he quickly forced himself higher till he was past the forming clouds he smiled triumphantly and went to toss a glance to woman on his back before he felt something lighter than before.
Quickly he went wide eyed trying to turn around seeing no glimpse of Domino and looked down. Suddenly he felt his heart drop as he rushed towards the sea below him. Frantically watching her body suspended in a weightless moment.
Adaline watched as Domino fell from the clouds with wide eyes her body twirling and wriggling in the air. Adaline looked around frantically waving her arms "Oh shit, oh shit!" She called over and over watching in horror as she was powerless to save the falling Domino.
Then she let out a sigh of relief as the barrels on the deck began to shake and suddenly large vines erupted with small budding flowers began to creep and twist forming a small net. Adaline watched as the flowers began to bloom the longer the vine twisted and shake her head in disbelief as Domino reached to grab it yet missed with a terrified yelp.
Adaline let out her own scream as she ran to the edge of the deck and quickly jump over the Whitebeards ship towards the marines as a majestic mixture of blues and yellows erupted from clouds. She stopped watching in awe as Marco pulled in his wings diving after the falling marine.
Domino watched as the water approached her and took a deep breath twisting her wrist to try and wrap some kind of plant life around her but as the winds whistling and popping sounds burst her ear drums she couldn't focus. All she could feel was the spray of the sea salt on her face. She closed her eyes and smiled. This was it, this was death, she spread out her arms to welcome it taking a deep breath.
"I've had a good life." She mumbled to herself as she felt a hard thump against her body.
She laid there for a second eyes closed and body waiting before she opened one eyes and saw a blue body underneath hers. She looked over to see Marco in his full phoenix form send her a lazy glance. "AHH!" she yelled and threw her arms around his neck as he lightly glided around the ship.
"You win, you win, you win," She kept mumbling into his neck as he let out a light chuckle. Domino didn't take in the second to watch as both crews pilled on to their respective decks and cheered. Instead she just wrapped her arms around Marco and took in deep breaths.
Adaline watched as Marco landed on the deck transforming lightly and walking to a stop as Domino dug her nails in to the collar of his neck her eyes closed. Adaline quickly crossed the ships and walked with a purpose towards a smiling Marco and a Domino that still held on to his back.
"You can let go now-yoi." He called giving her a slight glance.
Domino shook her head "No fuck that." She murmured to Marcos chuckle as his hand went up to her own. "Domino, it's okay, I have you-yoi." He whispered lightly giving her hand a light squeeze.
Domino looked up at the relaxed blue eyes and pouted before letting go of his back and landing lightly then went wide eyed as Adaline's fist caught her in the eye.
"HOW DARE YOU!" she yelled as Domino snapped back ready to punch before holding up her hands in fear and falling to her butt shaking her head and trying to crawl away. "Hey, wait no!" She yelped as Adaline leaned down and grabbed her by the collar of her tank top and lifted her so her feet were no longer touching the deck.
Both crews went wide eyed as they watched the 5'1 Petite woman lift the 6'0 woman above her head fire from her eyes as she shook the Commodore vigorously in the air.
"You understand if you die I take over?! Do you know that!" Adaline yelled as Domino tried to gain her sense as she was shaken "Ada I..."
"Don't Ada me you suicidal bitch! I was terrified! You are so dumb and reckless! I swear to god girl! If you weren't my best friend I would kill you! Me! KILL YOU! I WILL DO IT DOM!?"She yelled louder as Domino nodded trying to cover her mouth.
"I'm sorry!" She called looking down at the distance she was. "Sorry! Sorry! You're SORRY!?"Adaline yelled louder as Domino made a face "I'm gonna be sick." She mumbled.
Marco moved to tap Adalines shoulder before she dropped Domino and snapped towards him. Instantly Domino scrambled towards the side of the deck and threw half her body over it.
Marco threw his hands up in surprise as he saw the red heads angry eyes. "It was oka-" He started before she stuck a finger in his face approaching him as he walked back hands in the air and a light amused smile on his face.
"Don't you get in on this Phoenix! It's your fault we're here in the first place." She stated before she turned around for Domino and then frowned as she watched Domino lean against the railing her frown visual.
Adaline sighed and walked over to Domino and held out her hand which she eyed and then took it smiling. Adaline smiled in return but then frowned as she felt a sharp pain across her head and looked at the taller woman who just shrugged.
"That's for threatening, Phoenix. You can't do that." She stated coldly as Adaline rolled her eyes as they surveyed the damage of their ship walking past the pirate crowd. Domino leaned over the railing (aware of the effect it had on Marco) and sighed looking at the helms men who stared at her with crossed arms.
"Shit," She mumbled as Adaline nodded rubbing her temples. "I have so many damage reports to file." She groaned as Domino smiled and tapped her shoulder twisting her around to see the confused pirates. "or, we could not do the reports a spend just a little time here." She mumbled looking at Whitebeard.
Adaline sighed "I guess, we were going to try and squeeze a day out of it anyway." She mumbled back to Domino's eager nod.
They then had a silent conversation before Domino gave a light nod giving him her famous relaxed salute and handed her the rolled up tube that Adaline had given her.
Adaline looked at Domino and shook her head "I'm not giving this to him!" She yelled as Domino frowned. "Why not, I'm not a mailman." She hummed watching the phoenix who watched her with a knowing smile.
Adaline rolled her eyes tapping the tube then looking up at Thatch who struggled to sit up. "I suppose we can stay, just until the mast is fixed." She hummed as Domino nodded walking off and waving to Adaline as she went straight towards the Phoenix who watched her with a smile.
Adaline shook her head "Don't make it so noticeable!" She shouted as Domino waved her off and called back.
"You didn't see this, That's an order!" She called back as Adaline rolled her eyes. Adaline then looked at a dazed Thatch who sat up and frowned looking at the eyes that watched him before jumping up and holding out his arms.
"My Angel, you're alright!" He cried a smile on his face. Adaline tried to look away from his grin but sighed and shook her head at her own smile at his adorable antics. If Domino was going to have fun then. Well maybe she could too.
