Okay, I'm back with Chapter Six!
Thank you, Miss geek for your review! So Ursula is now Dawn's rival for Paul and now that I have that piece of information, I can actually try and finish this.
So there is one part that has a mild language word, so be on the lookout for the A/N warning! And it's not super bad. And there are some phrases that reference to bad words, but the actual word isn't there. This chapter will be the only one with bad or reference to bad words.
Nothing really going on. So let's move on to Chapter VI!
May's POV
I glared at the four. Why did they have to be here?
"Hi Mist! You know, I won the Alola League. All that traveling paid off, didn't it?" Ash blabbered.
Melody shot a murderous glare at Misty, who stuck her tongue out at her. Melody went red in the face and stood up. I got up to intercept her but that's the time when Drew decides to make a snarky remark. "I still wonder how you managed to win the Johto and Galar Grand Festivals without me."
I went red from anger. I totally forgot about Melody and turned to face Drew. "It's possible, Grasshead, for a girl to not fall in love with, excuse my language, a piece of trash! Especially a piece of trash who thinks he is the best when he's not!"
Brianna walked over to us. I glared at her. "Hey, Drew," she cooed flirtatiously, as if the rest of us weren't there. (A/N: Don't read the rest of her sentence unless you are allowed to say or read mild language) "If anyone's a piece of crap, it's her."
I glared at her. Obviously, I have more self-control than Brianna does.
The rest of the bothersome fan club leaders came over. Dawn glared at the girl she forgot. Leaf decided to have a nice chat with Brittany.
"Hey, Brittany," she said. "How you doin'? See you've joined a fan club."
I saw that all eyes were on us twelve.
"Uh," Brittany was at a loss for words. "uh, yeah."
"Well, sorry for you, but it seems as if there's going to be some girls who decide not to bow down (A/N: Reference to bad word) and kiss your butt," Leaf snapped. "Excuse my language for those besides you, Brittany, Ursula, Brianna, and Melody." Ohhh, so Ursula is the girl who Dawn forgot.
"Wow!" Gary snickered. "Leaf actually, for once in her life, used language!"
"Gary," Brittany coaxed, and she wrapped her arms around Gary's neck. I gagged and sat back down, my dinner threatening to come back up. "Don't listen to her. She's just jealous."
"Am not!" Leaf shouted.
"Anyway, May, I'd think we'll meet again tomorrow," Drew sneered at me. Brianna took that as her cue to jump on him. I glared at her and marched over to her and pushed her off.
"I guess our friendship is severed," I told her, then walked back over to my seat and crashed my head into my hands. A single tear rolled down my cheek. Brianna was a good friend. Until today.
After the incident, we all went to our dorms and slept. No one talked or anything. In the morning, I was feeling better. I acted like everything was good.
We went to breakfast, and talked. I wolfed down my food and got seconds for a dollar. Glances from all the girls were shot our way but I didn't care.
"Leaf, you showed them!" Dawn gushed. "You have the best mouth ever!"
Our enemies glared at us. Honestly, the boys were the ones who approached us first. They should be mad at them! We didn't do anything.
I hoped they wouldn't go to us again. That would be nice. But they didn't. The bell rang and we all deposited our leftovers either in the trash or in the tray bin.
I waved Misty and Leaf good-bye and walked with Dawn. That day, I was at Combinations and Dawn was at Contest Battles. It was weird, because our classes were right next to each other in the battlefields.
When I went inside the field, a total of fifteen coordinators were assembled in the stands. There wasn't a teacher, but there was a speaker booming at the side of the room. I sat down in the first row. Someone sat next to me. I looked to see Brianna.
Annoyed, I pointedly turned away from her. On the side I was looking at, Drew sat there, smirking. Brianna got up to sit next to Drew's other side, but the speaker boomed, "BRIANNA! NO CHANGING SEATS."
I smirked at Brianna, who flashed Drew a flirtatious gaze and reluctantly sat next to me.
"Today, each of you will show off your coolest combinations, with two Pokemon. And after everyone has presented, we will vote on which one is the best for that day. The chosen one gets five points extra for their next combinational test," the speaker instructed. "First, May Maple winner of the Galar Grand Festival!"
I blinked. Then I walked up to the right side of the field. Hmm, which Pokemon should I use?
"Wartortle, Blaziken, take the stage!" I yelled, and I threw out the respective Pokemon's Pokeballs. "Now, Wartortle, use Water Gun and Blaziken, use Fire Spin!" (A/N: Please review saying if this is right or wrong I don't have the time to look it up thank you (:)
Wartortle blasted a powerful Water Gun while Blaziken circled the water with spinning fire. Some of the Coordinators oohed and aahed. Electricity crackled from the powerful combination as the majority of the assembled Coordinators clapped.
"And May Maple releases a powerful combination of water and fire!" the speaker directed. "Such imagination!"
My face went red from embarrassment as I called back my Pokemon and sat back down.
"Some improvement can be made there, May," Drew whispered.
I glared at him and watched Zoey release the wrath of Mismagius on the field. Solidad wasn't in this class; she was with Dawn I think.
Next was Brianna. She did a very poor job with her newly-evolved Masquerain in my opinion. With simple Agility and Bubble Beam, pleh I think.
Drew strutted up to the stage in all his arrogant glory. Some female Coordinators openly flirted with him from the stands which made me, for some reason, flare up inside.
Grasshead chose Flygon. I remembered that time at the Kanto Grand Festival when he went crazy all because he thought Absol did bad when it didn't. I wondered why I tried to comfort him when I knew it was a lost cause. Hmmm.
I was too busy in my thoughts that I didn't notice when Drew sat back down and flirtatiously answered the flirting.
"Come on, Drew, marry me!" I thought, Such bad flirting.
"I want you!" (A/N: Reference to bad word) Yeah right. You don't know he's a butthole.
"You're so hot! I swear, the temperature rises whenever you walk in the room!" SO DRAMATIC.
"Can I touch your face?" These people seriously don't know how to flirt.
"Do you even know how to flirt?" Drew asked me. I blinked. "You said your thoughts aloud." He smirked.
I gritted my teeth and backhanded him as hard as I could across his cheek. He was caught by surprise.
"Take that, GRASSHEAD!" I hissed. I felt something pull at my bandana and whipped around. Brianna punched me but I kneed her in the gut.
"MAY MAPLE! DREW HAYDEN! BRIANNA BELLEROSE, DETENTION TODAY AFTER SCHOOL!" the speaker ordered.
What? DETENTION ON THE SECOND DAY OF SCHOOL?!
So how was it? Sorry it took so long. Please excuse the bad language. I couldn't imagine her saying anything else.
Alright, my countdown says 10 DAYS UNTIL SCHOOL STARTS! Just 10 days of work to do. Could you guys wait ten days?
Okay, on my in-progress fictional book I'm writing on Google Docs, I'm on page 115. It's called Realm of the Stars, or RotS for short. Anyway, see you in ten days (hopefully)!
