The next day, as Sae was leaving school.
"Hey, I heard that you have a Basara friend staying at your house, Sae," said a boy with red hair as they headed for the gate along with some other kids.
"Okay, can your dad not keep anything from you, Hoshi, he's always spilling secrets to you when someone asks him not to," said Sae.
"He was supposed to help with my homework last night so he told me to make up for it," said Hoshi.
"Hey, Sae," said Junban as he stood at the front gate eating some Umai Bou. He was wearing a black leather jacket and jeans.
"What are you doing here, Junban?" asked Sae.
"Your parents had a sudden mission, so they told me to get you and go to the Seika Dorms for the night," said Junban before taking a bite of the Umai Bou.
"Okay, but what's with the junk food?" asked Sae.
"Benio paid me to help make talisman this morning, and I was a little hungry on my way here and saw them being sold," said Junban.
"Well you two have fun, I have to head straight home," said Hoshi as he turned left and walked down the street.
"See you Monday," said Sae as she waved to him.
"Shimon and Mayura's son, right?" asked Junban.
"Yeah, he's also one of my childhood friends," said Sae.
"Have you asked him out yet?" asked Junban as they walked in the opposite direction that Hoshi had gone in.
"You know he's not my type," said Sae as she elbowed him in the side. Later, as the two approached the dorm.
"Hey, about time you two showed up!" said a girl standing outside.
"Wait, what is Ume (Plum) doing here?!" asked Sae.
"Forgot to tell you, Ryogo and Haruka went on the mission too," said Junban as he ran ahead, leaving Sae with a stunned and blushed face.
