Later that evening, in the room that Junban was given to sleep in, he was making some talisman.
"There, that should be enough talisman for now," said Junban as he stood up to stretch.
"Hey, can I talk to you, Junban?" asked Sae as she knocked on the open door.
"Sure, what is it?" asked Junban with a smug smile as he already knew what she would say.
"How the hell could you not tell me Ume would be here?!" asked Sae as she walked in, red up to her ears with embarrassment.
"I wanted to see your reaction, and I knew you would run if I had," said Junban who was trying not to laugh at her.
"I can't believe you," said Sae as she sat on the edge of his bed.
"Why haven't you told her how you feel, I mean she seems like a kind girl," said Junban.
"Because my own feelings are a sin, if I tell her then I'll drag her into it, and I don't want that on my conscience," said Sae.
"Being gay is not a sin, no Kegary I ever met was created because a human was gay," said Junban.
"But people will still judge," said Sae.
"And so what if they do, they're your feelings for someone, not theirs, so why should someone else get to judge you?" asked Junban.
"You're right, they're my feelings and no one else's," said Sae.
"Good, now why don't you go tell her those feelings," said Junban. Before Sae could say another word, a scream came from Ume's room which was down the hall from them.
"Whoa, what are they doing here?!" asked Junban as he noticed several Kegary at the window. The two were then pulled into Magano where they also found Ume.
"Just what the hell is going on here?!" asked Sae as she noticed they were surrounded by thousands of Kegary.
