Chapter Ten is up! Hope you enjoy! Oh, and there is a little lyrics to some songs by Alan Walker.

Disclaimer: I don't own anything except the plot line.

May's POV

Seriously. Who is Tracey?! It's really annoying me how Misty, Dawn, and Leaf are looking at me like I just gave away Blaziken.

Dinner was almost over by the time Misty finally spoke, "The annoying sketcher kid who traveled with me an-Ash and I when we went to the Orange Islands."

"Never went to the Orange Islands," I said, tearing into the last chunks of beef. Yep, I had gotten a third. What do you expect? After all, I'm May Maple, devourer of food.

Misty rolled her eyes. A bell rang, signifying curfew. Some really advanced Trainers and Coordinators get to stay out later, and some also get to go on night patrol. Not like I would want to go on patrol. I need my sleep!

Anyway, everyone got up and filed into the hall. As always, or as it had been the last day, it was crowded and noisy. The elevator didn't boom any awful music though.

I spotted the boys at the elevator. There were two elevators in this main hall, but the one we usually took was on the left. Naturally, we were heading over to that one.

"Guys, let's go to the other one," I whispered against the loud noise. "The you-know-whos are over there."

Misty sighed. "Let's just go to our usual," she said. "Besides, why are we suddenly avoiding them? It's not like they can do anything to us."

"Yeah," Dawn and Leaf agreed.

We walked over to our usual elevator as it was opening. Our bodies were tense, but we tried not to show it and acted as casual as possible.

The boys seemed to not notice us, but as we filed into the metal box, I felt Drew's gaze blaze into the back of my shirt. Sweat appeared on my forehead as I punched 4.

Ding! We arrived on Floor 1b. I sighed. Not our floor. The boys didn't get out either. Some other people got out, leaving some breathing room in their wake. The doors closed and I glanced at the back. The boys were standing across from us. I looked at the window from the elevator as we went upwards. We passed Floor 2, and stopped at Floor 3.

To our relief, almost everyone got out, even the boys. I let out the breath I'd been holding.

Floor 4 arrived, and we were the only ones who got out. We walked along the carpeted floor, feeling like we were in a hotel. The white walls with fancy golden lights just added to the feel.

Dawn and I opened the dark wooden door to our dorm and I flopped down on the bed. I. Was. Tired. But we had HOMEWORK.

We didn't have any dreaded homework for any of the classes that involved a field. For all the classes, we just had to fill out some sort of All About Me form and why we liked the class and what was our personality.

I brought out my pages from my fanny pack to my wooden desk. I turned the lamp on then plugged my earphones in my ears. I worked better when I had music on. Today, I shuffled all my songs.

Wait a second, let me catch my breath;

I wrote down my name to the first one.

Remind me how it feels to hear your voice;
Your lips are moving, I can't hear a thing;
Living life as if we had a choice;

I wrote across the page with my Beautifly pen. I heard Dawn in the background, but couldn't make out what she was saying with my music on.

Anywhere, anytime;
I would do,
anything for you;
Anything for you;
Yesterday, got away;
Melodies, stuck inside your head;
A song in every breath;

I finished one class and moved onto the next, repeating the boring pattern. The climax of Sing Me To Sleep was coming on.

Sing, me, to sleep, now;
Sing, me, to sleep;
Won't you sing, me, to sleep, now
Sing, me, to sleep;

Instruments clouded my hearing. It seemed like my brain got a brain boost as my hand moved faster and my thoughts were on the page in no time.

I sneaked a peek at Dawn, and realized she was at her desk, doing homework.

Remember me now time cannot erase;
I can hear your whispers in my mind;
I've become what you cannot embrace;
Our memories will be my lullaby;

Almost done. Just two more classes to go.

Sing, me, to sleep, now;
Sing, me, to sleep;
Won't you sing, me, to sleep, now;
Sing, me, to sleep;

More instrumental music made me finish one class. The last class was the hardest. It asked for every single thing about me. It even asked if I had a boyfriend or girlfriend.

A-any, anytime;
I would do-do, do, do, do
T-t-time away;
Yesterday-day-day-day;
A-any, anytime;
I would do-do, do, do, do;
T-t-time away;
Yesterday-day-day-day.

It ended and my hand instantly became slower.

You were the shadow to my light;
Did you feel us;
Another start, you fade away;
Afraid our aim is out of sight;
Want to see us;
Alive

Where are you now;

Ah yes. Faded by Alan Walker. One of my favorite songs. I was done with my work, but I just decided to sit there until the song was done.

A few minutes later, I went to check on Dawn.

"I finished. I'm going to go take a shower, 'kay?" I asked.

"Okay," Dawn said.

I went to take a shower. After I was done, I brushed my teeth and turned off the desk lamp. Dawn was already in the shower; she had gone in just after I came out.

Feeling tired, I set my fanny pack on my nightside table and fell asleep, looking at the beautiful red walls.

Hi! Faded and Sing Me To Sleep are some of my all-time favorite songs. And, I wrote this at 9:00-10:00 p.m., so I'm feeling a little tired on my side.

Anyways, hope you liked it! I still can't believe I've gone so far on this! Please bear with me on this.

Thank you!
