Song, Sober by tool

Russel's Topaz eyes danced along the rows of that wicked black and white plant of his nightmares. The plant of his past that eroded away at his throat, and his siblings minds.

Yet he tapped his fingers together with pure joy.

Finally, finally after so many failed attempts at trying to recrate the perfect soil for the perfect plant he had done it.

It only took a couple thousand bodies. But it was a necessary sacrifice for his empire to grow. And boy has it grown? He took in a giddy breath laughing to himself as he moved away from the large open space sealed off from the rest of the island above.

He loosened the blue tattered scarf around his neck to trace his hands along the scarring and continued to frown as he walked up the large staircase. Determined to continue with his plans.

He trailed his hands along the smooth stone of the curved wall as he took his steps two at a time. With an almost gleeful cheer, he pushed through a large double wide door to revel his workers of all backgrounds cleaning away at the now empty testing rooms before he stopped. Inspecting how some of his workers had failed to wear their scarves, revealing the sliver collars of his past.

He took in a sharp breath and shook his head displeased, his heavy laughter echoing around the room as the workers stopped in awe at his sound.

They watched through the glass their malicious ruler stood on the other side of. Noticing how his scarf hung loosely around his neck as he tugged on it to pull it off laughing. They watched in fear as his long arm reached out to point and laugh at how they desperately tried to clean.

Russel looked on behind the glass and covered his frown before looking over the wide view of his workers. Spotting two little kids huddled together holding just a broom and a mop. Their collars on and sparkling as if they had been spit shinned.

But per Russel's rules they held no chains. No child should ever be chained. Nor should they have those collars. Why was this happening?

Flashes of his sisters warped smile and blood stained face flashing before him as she twisted the key to freedom. Her own still clasped around her.

He stopped laughing entirely and kept his finger held out and poised, kneeling against the glass and motioning for them to come near him.

They didn't budge.

He sagged his shoulders and moved to sit down crossing his legs and leaning forward almost pressing his face against the glass.

He motioned for them to come once more. Once again they didn't budge. However a noise that sounded like a glass door was opening signaled that they would soon be moved. And sure enough he watched as his lover, though no more in a maid costume, walked towards the two little kids and swiftly pluck them from the corner they huddled against.

He didn't understand, they where in a clean sterile room. They had never missed a meal and he didn't treat his workers like the slaves they were...Erm workers they were. He wasn't even like his brother who had become known as a conquer, or his sister a true god of torture.

He was the good one.

Sure he had workers but only the newer ones were forced to clean the testing rooms, the others worked happy lives running his hotels and more importantly. His world renowned bath house and spa resort. After all he had just been granted sovereign nation status.

Now, of course the sovereign nation status was only if his brother Raphael could actually go through with his half of the plan. No matter.

Russel was positive that their plans would go accordingly. How could they not?

After all His sweet sweet sister was always such a sucker for her family. Like the ignorant god she had become.

But none of that mattered now as his lover now in a silk form fitting green dress plopped down two squirming kids before him.

One a little girl with purple hair, the other a boy. His hair darker but also a tinted purple. However that's not what he cared about. He furrowed his eyebrows and took in a deep breath, swiping at the two collars with one fell swipe.

The two children had only seen his large hand coming their way before a pressure was released from around their neck. They huddled together as the two large explosions shattered the glass rooms around them wiping up glass and dust to engulf the two large adults.

Russel heard the cried of the people who were caught in the explosion behind him but did not care as he pulled himself up from his sitting position and pointed down at his lover who held the two children's firmly by the shoulder keeping them against her legs.

Her hair rustling with the force but her body was two unfazed. She did take a look behind the tall man to sigh at the damage. It seemed he had destroyed two larges testing rooms on either side of the glass barriers. Including the people in them.

"Russel. What have I told you about breaking the rules? You, could have hit the green house." She stated firmly. The Topaz eyes only laughed as he moved to take off his scarf and wrap it around the two children. Effectively tying them together.

Both children shivered at his movements only seeing his frown and exposed scar along his neck as he leaned back kneeling to expect how they where now tide together with a tight bow across their chests.

He didn't smile but tilted his head the frown deepening. "Family, is not the only thing that can tie you together." He stated in a hearty manor before laughing and holding out his palm open and exposed.

The two kids watched nervously frozen in their tied together state, They expected him to do something very terrifying yet. Another almost bland man appeared to place a new tattered scarf in Russel's hands before scurrying off towards the settling dust cloud.

The two children feeling the pressure of the woman's hands on their shoulder leaned to look behind the kneeling and terrifying man.

He raised an eyebrow and moved to look behind him as well. He too saw the destruction of his cells and shrugged. Before turning towards them his lips pulled into a frown as he brought a single finger to his pursed lips and stood up staring down at the woman in her elegant form fitting dress.

"I want you to deal with whoever, put these children in chains." He stated sternly before snapping, "Oh yeah, you know what? Let's have some kids? From now you guys will be following me, You guys will be under my care and mine alone." He stated very sternly but with a quick and light voice.

The woman looked down smiling at the two kids who shook with fear. "How marvelous. Now what do you say?" The woman almost growled. The two kids looked around nervously.

Russel shrugged, "Now, now love, don't scare the damn things. Come we have a lot we must do. I believe with this last batch we should be ready." He laughed motioning for the woman to follow.

The two kids, who were still tied in the scarf, frowned before a quick hand picked them up carrying them like a briefcase as they both stayed frozen with eyes closed and prayers silent.

Russel's love continued walking beside him watching as the two children darted their eyes around the newer stair case they ascended.

"Well, It seems your sister has been hard at work, seven of our cargo ships have been destroyed and the crew executed. It seems she still however has not drawn a connection to us yet." She continued. "It seems that our mutual friends been quite I think it is safe to assume he is one less lose tie." She stated in quick breaths as she continued to take the stairs.

Russel nodded moving to tap the brick wall by him once more before a wide steel door opened towards a larger room, fit with a wall of windows overlooking the bath house below. He dropped the two kids on the bed as he moved over to the window to once again look at how the skyline of his empire had now risen, and the dock was nearly jammed packed with ships of all kinds.

"My sister is many things, love, but to underestimate her would be a problem." He sighed "None the less, I do have to wonder, does she even know who she protects?" He cackled while pulling at his face. Then pointed at the woman who fiddled with the kids to untie them.

"Get those two cleaned up and fitted, then, My love, it's almost November no?" He asked looking back lightly seeing as the two kids jumped free from the bed and shook them-selves free from the woman's grasp.

Russel watched as the woman gave a stern nod. "Yes, will we be having a party to celebrate our final moments?" She smiled eagerly holding the children by their shoulders as they now tried to squirm away from her.

Russel turned away from the woman and shook his head placing his hand to his face to hide the infectious smile that spread in the reflection of himself in the glass window. "No, not our final moments! To my family! And our long awaited reunion!." He laughed hysterically watching his reflection rise above the images of both of his siblings kneeling before him.

Raphael took a deep breath once again shaking the paper in the air his crimson eyes snapping down at the beach ball known as Le, throwing the paper back in the round mans face. The man winced at the sudden movements of his tall and mighty lord and pulled at the paper from his mustached covered face.

Le, looked over at Raphael who sat lazily against his large throne moving to sprawl himself over it, his long legs kicking absently over as his eyes now scanned over the different screens with hidden figures on them.

The disgusting creatures all spoke of different threats or deals they needed help with.

Yet he didn't care for any of that. He only became an emperor to show his sister he would make something of himself. And so he could take over these lands and cleanse the miserable bugs of their sins. He pulled his blade free silencing at least two of the figures mid speech before waving it to cancel the screen.

Why did he care, if Joker wanted to be the broker? He had no need for him. He just wanted his brothers weapons. This is why you keep things in the family. You can trust family.

Right? Yes. No...Yes.

He placed the long blade back in its sheath beside his throne and held out his hand to Le signaling for him to continue. "Ww.. ? The Wowwwords?" He asked the man feeling his own hands now move to tighten around his tie but instead he decided to run his hand over the discoloration of his skin on his arm.

It was almost clearly gone by now but the memoires still remained. That corroding feeling of the machines he worked. It was a haunting sound.

He tightened his fingers on the faded marks as Le looked up and nodded. "Yes sir, Well it says here that Russel would like for the three of you to finally meet. It seems that after years of delays, he has finally acquired enough of his required materials to complete his half of the weapons. They have started harvesting and well require our half to complete the orders-cho." He smiled.

Raphael nodded " .an..and He's .sure this will fr..free.. .." He took in a deep breath and tightened his hand around his neck and let out a loud growl. "Damn it all!" He shouted standing up and pulling free his blade and rushing towards the great halls of his castle. Surely there would be people in there.

After all he left the gates open for all poor who needed food and shelter. He never wanted a single person to go hungry, he never wanted them to be scared of having to sell themselves for money. He wanted to know that they would be safe from starvation.

However, just because they were poor didn't mean they could be saved from his wrath. However as he approached his target past the large pillars of his castle Le's body appeared before him.

It seems with age came fearlessness.

Or a want of death. Neither mattered to Raphael, he just wanted to be a cleanser. He wanted to get rid of the world that did these things to him.

"He is Raphael, he is-cho. Here it states that if she should appear on the island it would be enough to free her. All he needs is for us to show up. as well." Le soothed even going as far as to reach out to the taller man gently holding the tip of the sword and placing it down.

" He... ..pr...promisesss, th..that this is.. I..it?" He asked as the beach ball nodded. "Yes sir. He does," Le stated quickly adverting his eyes away from the ever so looming blade.

Rapahel took in a deep breath, "I...i..it's..b..b..be..bee..been s..s..so.." Raphael furrowed his eyes brows and shook his head vigorously before he threw his hands to his side his sword slashing down as he did so.

"RAAHHHGGGG!" He shouted his anger shaking the very halls he stood in. Why was he so worthless! He wanted to give speeches, he wanted to actually say his sisters name, why was he so broken! Why...

Flashes of the master before him rushed through his head as he closed his eyes and took a breath remembering handing his sister pretty flowers and her smiling in return. He sighed, This wasn't his fault. He was just another insect.

He finally pulled back his anger and took in the deathly silence of just his heavy breathing. That and the small dripping of blood that echoed in his ears.

He picked up his blade in wonder at the red stained tip and then inspected his own hands. He had not cut himself, nor his legs. What could causes this, disgusting blood...

He took in a deep breath, and sighed closing his eyes as he looked down at the crumpled over body split in two before him.

He felt his face pull in different directions as he leaned down to clean his blade on the green and blue body before him. " .it..wa..wa..was a wish?" He asked his oldest and dearest friend before walking away and pointing to another man dressed in the same color as the body and pointed.

"G..ge..get M..me a ship.." He stated sternly before looking around the castle he had built and frowned. His sister would never like something like these extravagant halls anyway.

"Al...sss..so, I abject my...my Th..th..throne.. as Em..emperor..My...mo..moo...money goes to a..all..who can live." He smiled twisting his sword in glee as the eyes of his peasants watched him.

After all, nothing here mattered, not even his friendships, if it meant he would once again see his sister.

The one who took on such a terrifying name.

The one who took on terrifying people.

Domino took a long and much needed swig of the burning liquid she craved, feeling her body lean back as she finished the bottle, which she had just opened, with one breath. She pulled away from the cold glass and shook her head, not feeling the burning that she needed to.

Why? Why? Why did she need to? Well because her she stood outside on a perfect autumn night her long silk blue dress hugging her form before spiraling out at her ankles to reveal black boots that tapped absently against the balcony's railing. Her hair free of its normal tie and flowing with the wind, and face painted with elegant makeup. All without a Birdy by her side.

She stared out over Marineford's large and ominous form, the villages full of marine families bustling with men's return home. Their lantern's shinning brilliantly against the cobblestone streets. Almost blocking out the stars above.

However, as she leaned her body over the rail, she was lost in the images of blues and yellows flaring through the stars. Followed by his playful smile as he wrapped her in his warming wings.

She sighed and looked down at her empty bottle and rolled her eyes turning away from the balcony and the freedom she wished for.

She glanced at the bustling room full of well dressed officers and frowned leaning her back against the elegant white railing and shook her head.

"Screw that." She mumbled and took a breath turning around to wrap herself around the railing once more a pouting frown on her face as she twisted her wrist to slither her green vines across the well lit ballroom. She didn't care if people saw her reach for the alcohol, but she did take in consideration not to make it to obvious.

She gave a small tug of her wrist for her green vines to pull at a bottle that sat perched along an elegantly set table.

She continued to look away from the open room and watch the waves in the distance as she pulled the bottle towards her. Once again careful not to make to much of a scene. After all it may be startling to see a green snake like vine pull a bottle of wine across a ballroom floor.

That mental image made her smile lightly however her smile didn't last long. She felt a sharp tug on her vine causing her to hiss at the force and quickly decay her vines.

"Which one of yeah caught me?" Her cold voice asked barely sending a side glance to the general direction of the shadow that approached her.

"Forgive me Rear Admiral Domino, Just this brand of alcohol tastes better when it hasn't been dragged across the floor." A deep and almost animalistic voice stated. But his tone was proper and the way he sounded had an interesting authority to it.

Domino perked her head up and sent the tall marine vest wearing man a sadistic smirk. "Forget the formalities Drake. I don't care for'em." She stated coldly holding her hand for the long blue bottle, the label was still readable to her.

Which meant, she needed it. She didn't want to read anything else tonight. Not after the letter she received just hours ago.

The tall polite man with an 'x' engraved into his chin gave a soft smile and placed it out to her before holding out his arm in a motion to join her.

She shrugged and popped the cork with a quick motion of her mouth then quickly spit the cork out and threw the bottle back to her painted red lips.

He watched in awe as her body barely shifted with her quick movements.

Before he nodded his respect and turned so he was giving her his full attention, head tilted down to notice how her dress never showed her back despite it seeming as if it was a low cut.

"I see. I have often heard stories of your demeanor, however I have never been at HQ long enough to see for myself." He stated now moving to lean over the balcony as well. His orange hair pointing down as she finished her long drink and held the bottle out to him.

Her eyes flashing with a hint of danger as she smirked. "Tell me? Do I disappoint?" She asked him coldly moving to cover her smirk with her left hand while he took in a deep breath and took the bottle away from her.

His shirt wiping over the rim of the glass before he took his own quick drink.

"No," He stated quickly before she hummed.

"Thought so." Her voice harshly stated. "Don't feel bad." She smiled "Everyone's done that tonight. Taking their own glances at Akainus 'handiwork." She sighed twisting her wrist at her side.

Drake took in a short breath and handed her back the glass bottle. Even if he hadn't asked the question yet, That was her answer.

Domino let out a heavy scoff. "So, is that all Dino nuggets?" She asked him with a light smile.

Drake picked up his head and returned his own scoff. "No, I do have a question I need an answer too." He stated sternly as Domino nodded and looked down below her.

The cobblestone looked soft from up here. How nice of a thought.

"Well?" She raised her eyebrow in response ignoring her own mentality.

He nodded "Do you think the Marines are just?" He asked her his eyes thoughtfully fixed on the harbor in the distance and took the bottle that Domino once again handed him.

"Why do people ask me those questions, what do I care about justice?" She asked herself before sighing and running her hand through her hair as Drake polished off the bottle in a solemn way.

"Just, and not Just is over my paygrade you know? I do what I feel is right. And sometimes..." She paused remembering Marco's frown as she left his side once more.

"We're wrong. And we have to live with it." She gave a soft hollow smile then looked over at tall man before her. "But you have always been one about justice, Did'u get new orders or something?" She asked him cautiously.

She could tell by how he walked, he was a marine through and through. He was like her, he would leave, but he would never leave.

He gave a subtle nod.

She took in a deep breath "The marines are only a name, just like pirates, it's the people that make up the names, they can be both absolute or in-between. What's just isn't up to me to figure out." She continued.

Drake looked up and narrowed his eyes they seemed to shift between his dinosaur form before nodded. "So, you follow your own code then? That's reassuring." He thought to himself before nodding and moving to push himself from the elegant gold painted railing.

She perked up her head "Did I help?" Her cold voice almost pleading for an answer.

Drake gave a light nod. "You did, thank you. Sorry for bothering you." He placed a heavy hand over hers in which she quickly retracted it holding her scarred fingers just over her chest.

An unintended look of disgust across her face.

He noticed the look and instead gave a polite nod. "Enjoy your night sir." He stated once more before he made his exit.

As he walked off Domino took in a deep breath of sadness noticing her hand was empty and the alcohol hadn't kicked in yet. She didn't have time to locate another bottle as yet another tall figure appeared in the door way.

Eyeing Drakes departure as he approached.

This figure however was calmer and more laxed then the pervious visitor. In fact his blue eye mask was pulled closer to his eyes as if he was trying to take a quick nap but was forced awake. Probably by Sengoku, he always liked his admirals looking alive.

Even if Kuzan couldn't be bothered to care.

She ran her eyes over his formal blue suit and whistled with a mock tone. "Looking cute Kuzan," She smiled as he rubbed the back of his head and shook out his puffy hair. He sent her a side smile then held out a new bottle towards her.

This ones label was little more blurry, she knew it was his favorite kind just by the tint of the bottle. "Is there a sign on my back saying 'booze for wisdom'?" She asked looking behind him lightly. She was forcing the lightness in her voice but at least she tried. He did deserve that much.

He shook his head holding out his arm for her to take.

She draped her arms through his and leaned against him taking the bottle from his hand and taking a small sip from the bottle finding it was already open. She gave him a side glance this stuff tasted like shit, but it did the job.

"If there was would you complain?" He asked her smugly.

She shrugged. "Kinda, i've more then enough targets on my back lately." She frowned narrowing her eyes and sighing a harsh one and tightening her hands along the neck of the green bottle. "I' hate the stares Kuzan." She whispered before shaking her head with a smile.

"I mean it's my fault. I know that, I just I hate parading around like this, and I hate talking nicey nice with these assholes." She grimaced before shaking her head. "Whom I respect, I just.." She sighed.

Kuzan took in a deep breath and placed a large hand over her head patting her lightly. "I see, I'm sorry to have bothered you then." He sighed before moving to turn away.

Domino rolled her eyes keeping the mans arm locked in hers. His coldness matched her own. So in that they were equals.

"Don't start that shit, what's up?" She asked him coldly before wincing at her tone. She didn't mean to be harsh with him. After all he was a friend.

He nodded and returned to his spot beside her yawing before he shook his head. "I have some news I am afraid you won't like." He stated sternly.

She nodded "And here I was having a grand time already." She smiled before taking a longer drink.

However, Kuzans quick hand was placed over the bottle pulling it down with her hand. Keeping her from taking that much needed drink. She let both her hand and bottle hang over the edge as she sent him a slight glance. "Oh.." She whispered looking down at the tiny house's.

If someone fell from this height would they take the houses with them?

"Correct, it seems that an emperor named Raphael has denounced his throne. Throwing many territories into chaos." He started with a calm tone.

Domino took in a sharp breath trying to hold her hand still as it began to shake causing the bottle to do so as well. Why would Rappy do that? He was protected by the balance the marines didn't want to mess with. By denouncing his throne, he essentially called for death.

"And? If he's stopped being a bad guy, isn't that a good thing?" Her cold asked frantically as her drunken calm began to shatter around her.

Kuzan tilted his head, "Oh my! I guess you're right? I just thought you would like to know." He stated slipping his hand from hers and tapping the railing.

"From a friend." He murmured as the railing around her began to sting with an icy numbness.

She watched with disdain as everything around her quickly began to freeze. She freed the bottle from her hand and watched as the ice absorbed it. She frowned at the iced over bottle glistening it's icy prison.

"You should slow down, I hear it will be a long night." He frowned walking away.

Domino shook her head and began to walk after him. "Hey, Kuzan, wait." She grasped at his arm as he had just entered the dancing hall.

The bright light throwing her off for a brief second before the overwhelming noise of the instrumental music took over her hearing.

She shook her head at his questioning glance and then released his arm taking a step back towards the darker window.

"Thank you, Have a great night sir." She sighed. To which he gave a half handed wave walking away to be absorbed by the many officers who wished to kiss up to him. As she liked to put it.

Domino leaned against the beautiful gold and white walls tapping her hand against her arm a slightly worried look on her face as she scanned the crowd looking for her red headed counterpart.

It seemed as if almost everyone was here in this room, from the white haired smoker who sent looks of displeasure towards the crowd, to the stern Sakazuki who caught Domino's honey eyes and nodded towards the hallway exit.

She narrowed her eyes following the view beyond the large open room then shook her head 'no' a look of disgust across her face as she did so. Then she took in a sharp breath as his face shifted to a stern 'It wasn't a request' look.

She ran her hand through her now frizzing hair and sighed fanning it out and moving to grab another bottle from the table adjacent to her and trudged towards the wide, well lit hallway.

While on her way she fumbled for her own thoughts to form. Rappy gave up his throne? The same day Russel sent her an invitation to come 'home' as the paper read. What the hell could this mean. She hadn't seen her brothers in nothing more but wanted posters for years and now? These things start happening? It wasn't a coincidence. There was something really wrong about this.

But then again, seeing her brothers after so long? It was almost to good to pass up. No, she'd have to talk to Ada about this. If anyone was able to help Domino in her drunken state it would be Adaline.

Domino sighed as she pushed out of the large double doors and leaned along an old oil painting of some marine building from a long time ago. She didn't care what it was of. Why should she, it was just some painting.

Instead she inspected the edge of the gold frame the painting was protected by. She smirked as her fingers found the perfect edge and used it to pop open the cork of the new bottle, catching it in her hand and quickly flicking it towards the large man who walked towards her.

"What you want, Magma Dog?" She almost growled taking a drink. He rolled his eyes and continued walking the cork turning to ashes by his radiating heat alone.

"You out of the marines for starters." He retorted in his gruff tone as she now rolled her eyes and followed behind him.

She inspected the blue and white walls around her as they left the ballroom and passed through the open courtyard where she first got initiated as a captain. She let a light smile pass her face as she remembered herself falling away from the old nose haired man.

"Well, Kill me and get it over with then?" She smirked taking a sip. Remembering their most recent battle.

"Oh, wait. You tried that already didn't you?" Her cold voice falling heavy on his shoulders.

"Besides your pride, all You have is Garp's favor, and Sengoku's silence. Do not think you are above me in anything. Maggot." He stated moving to open his large red door. The sight of the dark red tinted wood causing her to put the bottle to her lips in a slow hum as she took a sip, gulp, guzzle.

Whatever you may call it she did it. It seems the alcohol was now taking effect and she was wanting to die once more.

"So?" She asked him following his escorting hand to his desk.

She stopped in her stride, noticing something that was missing from his classic red suit. She rolled her eyes and held out her hand, a single pink carnation growing from her palm as she plucked it and handed it out to him.

He gave her a questioning look. She rolled her eyes holding out the flower once more, "A carnation, it means remembrance." She murmured as he nodded and fixed the flower along his breast pocket.

"Domino, as much as I distaste your existence, I feel it is my duty to inform you that it has come to my attention that there has been a traitor among your men." He stated sternly crossing his hands and sitting with a stick up his ass in his chair.

Domino gave a half laughter. Of course there was. It was her, she was the traitor. She was the one in love.

"Henhe, okay~ I'll bite,?" She cooed placing the bottle (now half empty) harshly on his desk and moving to lift her leg up. Pulling at the dress to stretch around her legs movements.

Don't get her wrong, she loved wearing dresses and dressing up. However it was never very practical for her line of work. At the most she would be a model for Adaline's designs. The dress idea had no baring on her scars or not.

In fact, she loved her scars, but distasted the stares she received. Or did she like both? Did it matter, she wanted to get this over with quick so she could get back to being the wise ol drunkard.

Maybe if she found another balcony someone with more booze would waltz out to her with another shinning bottle.

"Normal circumstances, I would have already dealt with these deplorable actions." The heavy voice man continued.

Domino raised an eyebrow eyeing the papers he shuffled around and tilted her head, the crazy smile still plastered on her face.

"Well why haven't you? Is the old hound dog losing his touch?" She cooed leaning forward before freezing as he tossed a large folder towards her.

Frightening and vivid pictures strewn out across the desk with this motion. She blinked losing her calm and gingerly reached out her hand to grasp one of the pictures seeing non other then a certain Red Headed cuties hands wrapped the Fourth Division commander's arms. A wide smile plastered on her face with what seemed like a shining ring along her finger.

Domino blinked feeling as if a sea train had just ran over her lungs. "Wh...what is this?" She asked him her voice breaking in surprise. "The..these can't be real." She calmly stated giving Akainu a proud look. "There's no way." She half laughed to herself.

That bitch didn't tell her she got married! What the hell! Ada, they were friends. And after the long ship ride back to HQ, the redhead said nothing? Not even an Hey guess what I got married. Or was it she told Domino multiple times but the tall marine was to busy drowning herself in alcohol the minuet she left Marco's side?

Akainu raised an eyebrow leaning back in his chair watching the expression cross Dominos face as she inspected the picture. "So you didn't know?" He asked her with what sounded like relief in his voice.

Domino blinked then smirked scoffing, "OH no. I knew," She stated before laughing to herself.

"I just can't believe she went and got married without me. I mean come on. She's like my sister and she goes and does this shit? Not only that it's been months and she hasn't even told me yet? Hey, maybe i'd have like to be a brides maid. I mean with me I make my own flowers that'd save you costs right there." She huffed leaning back and crossing her arms while Akainu shot himself straight up his hand slamming down on his desk burning the papers around them.

She twisted her wrist and felt as her green vines carefully pushed the papers near his burning fist as she continued to look him dead in the eye. Continuing she had to get him angry.

"I mean, I'd be a good bridesmaid! You'd be lucky to have me as a birdesmaid!" She quickly spoke with a point of her finger. "I would be an Amazing Bridesmaid." She emphasized watching as the cackling of the photos melting began to fill her ears.

Akainu seemed to shake with rage listening to this mad woman's rant. "Things like this can not happen under my command!" He yelled.

The sound reverberating through Domino's alcohol filled head and abuse trained ears, causing her to flinch with a wide eyed look of 'gee thanks'.

"Good thing it's not your command now huh?" She asked him with a smirk. She may be a Rear Admiral by rank but it was well assumed she was more then that. He knew that better then anyone.

"Well then you, can not allow this..this Fraternizing to go unpunished." He shouted once more causing the tall woman to lean against her chair frowning at the heat he created.

It was nothing like Marco's, who's was a warmth that she happily accepted.

Akaniu's was a heat fueled by hatred. It was a kind of heat that made men melt in his presence. Not of admiration, but literally melt in front of him.

She however, had felt this heat before and was well aware this wasn't the man that would kill her. No man would kill her while she remained a marine. Or else she wouldn't be able to call herself a Whitebeard Pirate when the time came.

Well, because she would be dead. But that didn't matter. She had died before, and no matter how much she flirted with death, unless she was in a birdys arms she refused to die again.

"Fraternizing? Oh come on you stupid dog it's love! Not fraternizing." Her cold voice raised as she leaned forward welcoming the heat radiating death, She tilted her head in a drunken motion. As her hands fell between her legs slowly twisting as she spoke.

"You kno E, I love you, you love me, G, in a tree or something, come on you know." She hummed with a sadistic smile moving her head back to encourage him to join in.

Akainu began to reverberate his anger his low growl sounding like a volcano about to erupt.

"This is with a pirate no less!" He continued, Domino threw her head back cackling.

"Oh tough shit! Love is love. You've loved in the past." She stated sternly pointing at the carnation she now decayed in his pocket.

"So don't even give me that shit Sakazuki," Her cold voice sending him a deathly warning as it began to regrow in his pocket.

Akainu took in a hasty breath and instead of looking down he removed his burning palms from his desk and walked towards her. Nothing remained on the desk but two large holes from where his fists had been.

Domino sat back against the chair in an unfazed fashion pulling her hands to rest her head lazily on her burnt knuckles maneuvering her vines around her.

She knew why he held his justice so true. It was a traumatizing realization that he had at an young age. Yet she didn't care, not for a second.

She had been through far more worse then he would imagine. But not only that but she wasn't going to sit back and let him tell her that Adaline is a traitor because of who she loves. If it was Domino herself he was accusing that would be one thing.

However this was Adaline.

"We can not allow this! This disgusting traitor to live!" He shouted leaning over Domino demanding her attention.

She snapped her eyes from the last remints of the pictures and quickly launched her booted foot towards the large man, making contact with his square jaw and jumping back as he stumbled away from her.

"Don't you dare! Call her that ever! Not after everything she's done for your justice. I will not allow that." She growled the edges around her dress beginning to burn as she groaned and stomped out the embers.

"Nor will I allow her to live!" He shouted in return his beady black eyes showing anger.

Domino threw her hand to the back of the chair to hold herself as she laughed. "Ha! Such brave words from someone who breaths in dirt like the rest of us." She stated her body changing suddenly as she sharply twisted her wrists.

Feeling the hardened vines that trailed from her feet lurch towards Akainu's neck as he began to gasp for breath at their tightening hold.

He griped at the ones around his neck that caused him to choke back his surprise as purple flowers called Rhododendron's began to bloom around the vines sprouting up in tiny 'pops' of color from the black vine.

The scene before her was intoxicating in its own as he took another sharp breath, anger growing and fueling his powers.

However soon he may be to actually killing her, she felt another tug of her powers, that let her know her vines had successfully wrapped around the one thing she assumed Magma Dog never had.

What was that?

His heart.

Of course he wouldn't die. He wasn't as weak as the Celestials before him.

It wasn't long before his surprise at being hit washed away. Or Domino's ability to keep her focus on him due to her intoxicated state.

So, he merely took a step back snapping his large fingers around the vines and breaking them in one smooth motion.

He held out the wilting purple vines in his hand and shook his head massaging his neck as he did so.

"I see, I inhaled the dirt from your boots?" He asked her as she raised an eyebrow at her vision that blurred. "Then you used the surprise from my neck to take your chance correct?" He asked her holding his hand over his chest turning it to magma before her eyes and feeling the fire eat away at her vines for good measure.

"Glad to see your mind hasn't slipped in your old age." She stated before taking in a deep breath and moved to grab the bottle that, though was warm, was still drinkable.

So she drank it.

"I wonder, is this how you took out the people on Calla?" He asked her with a raised eyebrow. His voice demanding she take the bait.

She took a deep breath pulling the bottle from her lips contemplating.

He really did want her to kill him didn't he? But she couldn't oblige she wanted to see Marco once more. So instead she placed her scarred left hand to cover her vicious smile.

"I'm getting real tired of your bullshit Sakazuki." She growled before shaking her head and raising an eyebrow dropping her arm to her side letting her anger disappear.

The bottle was empty now.

"What do you want to accomplish. This will always end the same." She stated a soft sadness to her voice. She was right, she had been fighting him her whole life, Once when she became commodore, twice when he threatened her with the name of her island. And the last time, the time she became so scarred?

Was because he disrespected the King. Whitebeard. In reality he knew nothing of her brothers just of the island she watched burn so long ago. This fool had no idea who she really was. And still he threatened her.

He remained silent reading her thoughtful expressions and nodded. "I see, so, it is safe to assume you are in cahoots with the Pirates as well?" He asked her his voice growing deadly as he stood tall towering over her with an evil shadow crossing his eyes.

She laughed, not stepping back, instead staring him down with her own unwavering stance. "Cahoots? Yeah you can Ca-say that. If you mean I've fallen in love with em." She stated crossing her arms proudly before she shook her head.

"But you misunderstand, I've never held that love above my Duties." She stated coldly, lying.

She had stopped multiple times from going to far infact he would never know just how close she came to saying to hell with it all, and accepting the CP'S quick death just so she could finally be free.

"You know that." She finished with her cold tone audible.

He took in a deep breath conflicted and thinking. He was not a man to give in. He was as absolute as his justice. But he had made a promise to her back when she first demanded his respect. And he was a very prideful man.

He nodded "Then what are you proposing?" He asked her crossing his arms and looking down at her as her scarred up arms moved to mimic his while she leaned on her left leg. A sadistic smile stretching across her face as her fell away revealing the vicious glint in her eyes.

"How bout a deal?"

AN/ So, like I said i'm getting towards the end game, however College started back up and while I have mostly everything planned out some things may be subject to change. Once everything gets wrapped up I will go back and edit everything.

Also with Akainu, I personally hate him because well the obvious reasons, Ace, But I also in my nature don't want him to be someone Domino just hates, like they have a respect for each other and such. But possibly may be OCC with him? However he spares Akoji when they fight? So I thought eh why not?

Also I suppose I should explain that a lot of my made up names have meanings. I don't know if anyone's picked up on that and I really couldn't sit back any longer.

But at the end, i'll list out all the meanings of the names. I figured i'd stick to flowers and such since in the beginning it was said she used them in ways. If this ruins some of the book i'm sorry!

Thank you for any comments and votes i've received. After this book i'm do lighter stuff and such. Enjoy.
