Standing in the dorms elevator, Lucy Heartfilia held onto her lugged. Beside her was, as Lucy liked to say, her personal babysitter, Capricorn. A rather tall and slim man wearing a suit and with a white stubble and shades. He had worked for her, her whole life. Well, Lucy's father more or less. Originally being hired for her family's business for security reasons. Though soon after Lucy was born, he was reassigned for a new task. Watching over Lucy Heartfilia.

Lucy stared at the tiny numbers above the door as they slowing traveled up the building. She was almost too excited to get to her room and start unpacking. Practically jumping in place because she could no longer contain being stuck in the small room. With every passing 'ding' as they hit a new floor, her excitement grew more and more. Capricorn didn't miss this enthusiasm.

"Very eager today, are we, Ms. Lucy," he said in his gravelly voice.

Lucy looked up to the man with her bright smile, tightening her grip around the strap on her bag. "Very much," she exclaimed not being able to contain her happiness.

It was Lucy's final year to attend at Magnolia Academy. And she wanted to make it the best! Though it would be hard to top her previous years because of how amazing they were. So many great memories made here with her friends. Not to mention that this school has a tendency of bringing all the cute guys. And when Lucy says all, she means all the cute guys. From the charming knights to the shy geeks to the rambunctious party animals, Magnolia Academy had it all.

And Lucy is guilty of being distracted by the kissable boys at school, she still tries not to let it interfere with her studies. Which is one of the main reasons she's has to end so many relationships with guys. All in all, things were great, with Lucy's tendency to fall for the charming knights. But she always found that her grades would start to drop if she became too attached to a person. And Lucy, nor her father wouldn't have any of that. She was just lucky that all the guys understood her reasoning and let her go with some ease.

As the two made it to the fourth floor, Lucy just about squealed. Taking her suitcase with her hand and a small paper telling her room number in the other, she sped out the opening doors. Capricorn close behind her with her last bag. She quickly walked down the rows of other dorm mates haling their luggage into the rooms. She checked the slip of paper for her number. Room 320. Looking to the signs on the walls, she followed them all them all the way down to the end of the hall. She sat down her bags in front of her door, Capricorn doing the same.

"Well, this is my stop," Lucy said looking back to her caretaker.

Capricorn nodded setting down Lucy's bag in front of her. "Is there anything else I could be of assistance to, Ms. Lucy?"

Lucy shook her head. "No, that should be all, Capricorn." The older man nodded, tipping an invisible hat above his head. Before he turned away though, Lucy caught him in a tight hug. Almost shocked by the contact he loosened up and slowly wrapped his arms around the small blonde. Talking into his chest, Lucy spoke. "Thank you for helping me with my bags. And tell everyone at home I love them and will miss them, will you?"

"I always do," he said in a soft voice.

Backing away, Lucy gave Capricorn a smile. Upon looking at him, even with his sunglasses, she could still see the sad look in his eyes. Lucy reached up to cup the side of his face. "Hey, we'll see each other again before you know it."

Capricorn let out a small laugh. "Hopefully not too soon. You still need to enjoy your senior year, before it's over."

Before it's all over, Lucy thought. Before leaving Magnolia Academy and going off to college and fulfilling the dream to become an author and soon to get married and have kids, watching them grow and then becoming a grandmother and growing old with her spouse and then- ah! Stop it Lucy! Think of the present! Just worry about getting into your dorm!

She took back her hand. "Right! It's going to be a good year!" Lucy exclaimed, still smiling.

"Now then, I should be on my way. You must have many things to attend to. But is there nothing else I can do for you, Ms. Lucy?"

"Aside from sending my love back home, that will be all. And thank you again for helping me with the bags."

"Of course. Farwell, Ms. Lucy," Capricorn said before turning away, slowing walking back to the elevator across the hallway.

"See you soon," she called. The blonde watched as her old friend walk to the exit. Before the doors closed once again, their eyes caught each other's. They smiled and waved a file goodbye, and then he was gone. Lucy felt the tiers cloud up her eyes. Though she always found it entirely unnecessary to have a bodyguard such as Capricorn, but the young woman still couldn't help but care for him. Over the years learning to love his stern behavior, knowing he only wanted what was best for her. Which what made leaving so hard.

Though her mansion of a house was always quiet and lonely, Lucy taking any excuse to leave, she loved the workers. Sad to say, but they were the only ones she felt any kind of loving feeling from. Aside from her friends at school. But that's how it is when you have a busy business father.

Lucy shook her head, not wanting to let these sad thoughts cover her mind. She grabbed her two suitcases, her school bad still hung over her shoulder, and opened the door. She was met with a very familiar sight. The giant room with a small kitchen on the left side, with its counters, cabinets, mini fridge, and tilde floor. On the right was the L shaped coach, the wooden coffee table, and the big TV against the wall. While on the back wall of the room were five doors lined up together, each door being a room for each dorm mate. The room seemed pretty dull and boring. But as the year goes on, Lucy knew she and her roommates would make it more lively.

She also knew, she was going to love the big window beside the coach. She did always like natural lighting better.

Lucy sat down her bags before taking another look around the room, when a thought came to mind. Who were her roommates? "I just hope there nice. Or that I even know any of them," Lucy muttered to herself. And on cue, someone walked out of the door next to the window. Immediately, Lucy recognized her small bluenette friend. After closing her door she turned to Lucy and they locked eyes. "Levy?"

"Lucy?" she said just as flatly as she did. There was this almost awkward silence that filled the room. Neither one knowing just what to do but stair.

"Levy!" Lucy repeated but more excited this time, raising her arms into the air.

"Lucy!" Levy did the same.

Lucy laughed running over to her friend to give her a big hug. "Oh my god are we sharing the same room?!"

"Unless I walked into the wrong room, the yes," Levy held Lucy tight. Lucy pulled away, with a big happy grin on her face.

"Ahh! Do you who else we're sharing with?"

"Cana, Juvia, and Erza."

Lucy almost felt her eyes come out of her head they were so wide. "What?! How did that happen?!" she said with absolute exasperation. How could she get so lucky to have all her best friends in the same dorm as her? If she was lucky she could get add least one, not all four!

"Erza might have been able to pull a few strings," Levy giggled.

Erza Scarlet. Magnolia Academy's student body president and personal she-demon. Of course she would be behind this! Though she has stated before she doesn't like using her title as a way to receive special treatment, she still couldn't resist. Lucy made a mental note to be extra nice to her red haired friend for a while and to thank her for this.

"Well, I sure am glad she did," Lucy exclaimed.

Levy nodded her head rapidly. "Me too! Our final year of high school and I get to spend it with all of you!"

"Ahh! Don't say that! I'm not ready to leave this place yet!"

"I know how you feel, Lu! But we still have a whole year ahead of us!"

Right. Think of the present. "So, has anyone else here yet?" Lucy questioned, excited to see her friends again.

"Not yet. Though Erza did come by once to drop off her stuff. But she had to leave for school president things. She took the room down there," Levy said pointing at the door second to last on the other side of the room. Lucy frowned not being able to see her friends first hand. The day is still early!

"But that only means that I can have the besties blonde in the whole world to myself!" Levy said with a sly grin.

Lucy giggled. "Only if that means I can take the besties bluenette out on campuses to the coffee shop."

"Of course she can! Does this mean she will be paying as a way to celebrate? You know, since it's she's with the besties bluenette."

"I love you but no. How about we pay for ourselves as a way to celebrate?" Lucy stuck her tongue out at her friend.

"Oh fineeeee!" Levy giggled.

"But first, let me get settled in before we go, kay?" Lucy had a lot of unpacking to do.

"Will do. Need any help?"

"I can manage."

After that Levy went back into her room saying she'll wait in there and that it was nice seeing her again. Lucy walked over to the front door to pick up her bags. She then chose the room in the middle and trotted her way in. The small, rectangle room was just the same as she remembered. The bare mattress just waiting to be covered with a dresser at the foot of the bed. The empty desk on the left side of the room, across from the bed. Next to the door was a little part of the wall that stuck out were her closet would be, and next to it on the wall was a full body mirror. And the window at the end of the room, shining in a bright light. Lucy took in a long breath. This was home.

Lucy threw her things inside her room, lightly singing to a song she couldn't remember the name of. She started with her bed, neatly placing the white sheets and pillows on the mattress then topping it off with her big pink blanket. Next she began to fill her closet and dresser with her uniform, cloths, and underwear. Lastly she sat her school bag onto her desk. Lucy look at her room with satisfaction. She still had a few posters and paintings to hang up, she thought that she could just do that later. Right now all she wanted was to hang out with her friend at the coffee shop.

Lucy made her way over to Levy's door and knocked. After hearing a light 'come it' Lucy opened the door.

"Hey Levy, I'm ready when you are," Lucy said.

"Let's go then!"
