U.A Entrance 8:40 AM

Izuku stood in front of the entrance of U.A, reflecting for a moment about the last 10 months. He truly felt like the luckiest being on the face of the Earth.

Not only was he TRAINED by the number one hero himself, to INHERIT his quirk but he also got enough publicity from the quirk erasing bullet and the Slime Villian incident that many hero schools in Japan (including the likes of U.A and Shiketsu) had offered him admission through recommendations.

He could get into U.A without even doing anything.

But he ultimately decided that that would be too much. He doesn't feel like he deserves this much attention for what happened to be just a lucky string of events.

Training to be All Might's successor was already way too much of a reward for what was him essentially trying to clean up his own mess.

Speaking of All Might, Izuku has had his quirk for about a month now.

The process of getting the quirk under control was painful to say the least. Not even the nine months of hauling garbage compared to the pain that was when he first used 'One for All'.

His entire arm broken and hanging limply, it was painful beyond belief but thanks to recovery girl healing him over and over again, he was able to learn within a week how to keep the power under 5%, which was as much as he was able to currently handle.

And then the extensive training with All Might allowed him to realize that he is supposed to spread the energy through out his whole body and not one limb at a time, thus creating his "Full Cowl".

Although he is currently unable to use his original quirk while in full cowl, whenever he tries, it just deactivates full cowl.

Speaking of his original quirk, he got that back just 3 days after the Slime villain fiasco. He thought for sure that now All Might would change his mind, but surprisingly no.

He said that he chose Izuku because of his potential and spirit, not because of his quirk or lack there off at the moment.

The police were somewhat relieved to hear that the effects of this new quirk erasing drug was temporary. Although Izuku's case was the first and only one so far.

"Hey! Move out of the way extra!" yelled by someone with a gruff voice.

Izuku immediately flinched and turned to see someone familiar walking towards him.

It was the blonde that he saved. He never got the chance to talk to him afterwards.

"Hey, it's you! Listen I've been meaning to apologize for not being able to rem-"

"Shut up! I don't wanna hear it!" the blonde interrupted him before walking past him.

'Man, I really hurt him back then. If I could only get his name maybe then I could remember him' he thought as he started walking towards the entrance.

'But that's a matter for another time, right now all that matters is the entrance exam. I can't let anything else get in my way. This is the one day where I can't afford to screw up.' he said as he took a step.

Only to trip and start falling face first into the ground 'Or I can just die.'

But before his head could land on the pavement, he suddenly just stopped.

"Are you okay?"

He turned his head to see a short brown haired girl, simply grab him and adjust him before pressing her fingers together.

"Sorry for using my quirk without asking, but I thought you wouldn't mind, falling on the first day would be bad luck wouldn't it."

Izuku at that moment realized that he was silent for too long and quickly replied "N-No, I don't mind. Uh- thanks for the saving!"

"No proble-" she stopped mid sentence and started examining his face before gasping.

"Oh my god! Your th-" this time interrupted by Izuku putting a hand over her month and frantically whispering "Please don't yell that! I don't want people to notice me!"

"Oh okay, sorry for that! I guess I was a little surprised, that's all." she replied still smiling, before continuing "Oh! I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Ochako Uraraka"

"Izuku Midoriya, nice to meet you" he replied

"Excuse me, but you both are blocking other people's path by standing in the middle of the way, please move!" yelled a much taller teen while passing by them.

"Oh! It's already 8:45, uh I have to go! See you later" yelled Izuku before running to the examination centre.

Ground B

Izuku made his way to the ground B for his practical. The written test went well, it was fairly easy so he finished it early and was able to double check all his answers.

The rules for the practical were fairly simple so he didn't need to go over them again and had some free time which he spent by surveying his surroundings when he noticed the nice girl.

'She looks stressed, maybe I could help'. He started making his way over to her before someone grabbed his shoulder. He turned to look at the tall boy again.

Before he could ask the blue boy said "Can't you see she is trying to concentrate? Are you trying to sabotage everyone else's chance of making it in?"

"W-What? No of course not, I was jus-" but before he could finish the Present Mic yelled from the Speaker "Start!"

Everyone just stood there, confused.

"What are you waiting for!? There's no countdown in real life!" yelled the pro.

Just like that, everyone started booking it towards the entrance but before anyone could reach, they saw a green blur jump over them, land and blitz the 3 one pointers near the entrance.

12 Minutes later

Izuku had started to slow down, he had about 52 points. He had relied too much on his fire and had started to overheat as a result.

He was trying to cool down when he suddenly felt the ground shake. He turned to see the gargantuan zero pointer. 'Isn't that a bit much?!'

He was about to run towards other direction when he heard a cry. He looked around to see the nice gir- Uraraka stuck under some rubble.

He quickly ran over to her and picked up the debris. As soon as she was free he asked "Are you hurt anywhere?" to which she pointed at her ankle which was badly bruised.

He picked her up and ran a safe distance away from the robot before setting her down.

He turned to look the zero pointer still on it's rampage. Many examines were exhausted and were struggling to escape.

'There's two options, I either destroy the robot with a 100% and get badly injured or pick up every person who is unable to escape.'

He then looked at her and had an idea. "Hey, what's your quirk?"

"Huh? Oh right! My quirk! It's zero gravity, anything I touch becomes weightless" she replied

'Even better than what I had guessed.'

"Can you use it on me?"

She looked at him confused before answering "Yeah, but not for long"

He looked at the zero pointer before saying" Okay... use it now!"

She touched his back with all five of her fingers.

He then used his flames to rocket towards the head of the robot before placing his palm at the center of it's head.

'If the control panel is in here, then this should stop the robot and at the same time the damage should not be extensive enough to cause a change in balance that may cause it to tip over'

He then unleashed the hottest flames he could produce. Within seconds the head starts to melt and the robot starts to slow down before stopping dead in its tracks.

Finally, he signs in relief and accidentally lets go. Before he could panic, he remembered that he was still weightless and uses the fire to propel himself down.

He lands and watches the girl press her fingers together before feeling his weight again.

Before he can ask how she's doing, he collapse on the ground as his legs no longer move and the girl starts vomiting.

He passes out right after the thought'Recovery girl's going to kill me'

U.A Entrance 8:40 AM

"Shut up. I don't want to hear it" he yells before leaving.

Katsuki is pissed off. Someone who once he would call his best friend had forgotten about his existence.

Of course he had. That's what always happens to Katsuki.

Just because of something out of his control he had been looked down upon and ostracized by his peers.

And now the only person who treated him as a human in that fucking school doesn't even remember him.

Why would he?

Why would a prodigy like him remember someone like Katsuki?

He was just a quirkless failure after all.

Well, no more of that, now the playing field is even, he'll prove them all wrong.

With this quirk, which he simply called Explosions... this is going to take him. Although his body has not adjusted to it yet, but that's because he only has had it for a month.

Too many explosions will cause his palms to burn and his arms to be strained heavily.

Luckily U.A allowed support items in entrance exams as long as you yourself are the one who built them.

Katsuki looked at the bracers he made for his arms. They were nothing special given the lack of quality materials at his disposal but they will get the job done.

He has already finished the blue prints for the much better ones, which he will send to the support course along with his costume

He would've had the opportunity to make them himself if he still was applying in that course.

But now that had changed, he had one job now.

To get to the top.

Ground A

The written exam was piss easy, Katsuki could've easily given it a second time and still have time to double check.

But right now is the time to prove himself. He was preparing himself, trying to tune out the idiots around him.

Before long, he saw the gates open and the voice from the speaker telling them to go.

Without a thought he started running, saving the use of his quirk for later.

12 minutes later

The start was a drag, he couldn't get as many points as he would've liked, only having 38 so far. There were some participants who were giving him a challenge, mainly a guy with some defense quirk and some bitch with giant hands but that was the extent of it.

His hands were starting to hurt. The bracers did their job, but they weren't durable enough for this and ended up breaking.

'Shit, not yet! I'm so close to the passing threshold' he thought as he suddenly felt the ground shake.

He turned to see the zero pointer.

'Fuck! There's no way I can take that thing on. Have to run.'

Before he could he heard something. He turned to see more robots behind the zero pointer.

'Bingo' as there were a bunch of robots there.

He quickly ran toward the zero pointer and used his explosions to propel himself through the free space between zero pointer's torso and arms. He then turned to see the army of robots.

'12 two pointer, 4 one pointer and 7 three pointer, that's gonna take me straight to 87 points'

He smirks before yelling "This is gonna fucking hurt!"

Recovery girl's office 5:00 PM

He wakes up in a white room, the lights blinding him for a moment before his eyes adjust.

"Oh, your up sonny" he hears someone speak, he gets up to see an old woman in front of him.

The women approaches him and offers him some gummies which he takes.

Before he could ask she replies "You passed out from the pain of overusing your quirk. I have healed your injuries so your fine for now but I would recommend you avoid any more physical stress for the rest of the day, otherwise you may pass out from exhaustion"

"Thanks" is all he says before picking up his jacket.

"Your free to leave and please, try to be more careful next time. The injuries would've been much more serious if I wasn't there to treat them immediately."

Katsuki doesn't respond and simply heads out. Before exiting he notices one more person in the infirmary.

As he spots the familiar green hair, all he can say is "Of course your fucking here" before walking out of the room.

I had originally planned for this to be 2 chapters but they both were short so i decided to combine them.

How do you like this style of switching pov of events between these two? I thought this would be something cool i could do from time to time.

And as always please leave criticism and point out my shitty English( especially in this one as even though I have reread it 4 times, its late at night here so i don't trust myself) so i can improve.
