Mabel Smith was a 15 year old girl that went to Harrell High School for Advanced Teenagers. Her best friend was her caretaker, who was named Christina Mayflower. Mabel's parents went missing when she was 5, and Christina was 10 when she began taking care of Mabel. But now's not the time to be looking at the past. Let's look at the present.

There was a friend group of girls that roamed the halls of Harrell High School. Their names were Harper, Rose, Amanda, Leilani, Lei, Priscilla, Kyle, Milly, Lyndia, and Narcissa. They all had a close relationship that could never be broken. They were making new friends all the time-and Mabel longed to be one of theirs.

One unique day, Mabel walked into school like normal. Mabel checked her locker, like always. There was a letter in her locker that had Mabel's name on it. Mabel quickly opened it, eager to see what the letter was about.

"Dear Mabel,

Meet us at Sushi Garden at 5:30 p.m. after school. Make sure to tell your parents you're going out with friends. Don't want any unneeded suspicion, do we?

Sincerely,

H, R, A, L, L, P, K, M, L, and N."

Mabel grinned. She wondered who H, R, A, L, L, P, K, M, L, and N were, but she mostly cared about where they were eating. Sushi Garden was the best sushi place in town.

But the bell rang. Mabel quickly but delicately placed the letter back into her locker, and slammed it shut. She didn't even bother to lock it. Then she dashed to class.

Mabel tapped her fingers on her desk, and her free hand ran its fingers through Mabel's ebony black hair. She watched her teacher walk into the classroom with two-or was it 3?-girls behind her. The girls lined up to face the class, and with their backs towards the chalkboard. The girl on the left was a tall girl with hair just like Mabel's. She wore the school uniform. The girl on the right was unusual, though. She had a body attached to her, sort of fused in with her body. Her left arm pretty much didn't exist, as it was fused in with the body's body. Same with the body, though it's right arm was the one almost nonexistent. The two wore a red shirt, a yellow skirt, and an orange scarf. Their shoes were brick red boots. They had short red hair.

Mabel's teacher cleared her voice, and began to talk. "Good morning, class! Today we have two new students: Laurel Ina, and Eugate Holme. Write your names on the blackboard." The two turned to the blackboard, and Mabel's hand shot up. "Yes, Mabel?" Her teacher said. "Why is there a body attached to Eugate? Shouldn't that count as two people?" Mabel asked. "Well, that's Eugate's dead sister, Hilda. Hilda was a miscarriage, but the two were conjoined twins. By luck, Eugate lived. Hilda's body has grown along with Eugate's body. It may be scary, but there is a literal dead body attached to Eugate." Mabel's teacher explained.

The class seemed to gasp in unison.

"Don't try talking about it though, it's a very sensitive topic to Eugate." Her teacher said with a dim smile.

The two had already written their names on the board. Laurel wrote her name in french, which was Laurier, and Eugate wrote her name in english, which was Eugate.

The two were then dismissed, and they sat in two empty desks.

The normal school day went on for Mabel, and after school finally came.

"I'm home!" Mabel yelled. Christina popped out of the kitchen. She waved, and said a quick hello. She disappeared back into the kitchen. Mabel rolled her eyes and took her shoes off. She went to her room and hung her backpack and coat up. She had something to do before she told Christina she was going out with friends.

Mabel walked towards the kitchen with a serious expression on her face. Christina saw her. "What do you want?" Christina asked unenthusiastically.

"I've noticed that you're extremely secretive now. What are you hiding from me?" Mabel asked, in a voice that clearly said "I demand an answer".

Christina stayed silent.
