Team B:- Todoroki and Shoji
VS
Team F:- Ojiro and Hagakure
This match can be described as both amazing and depressing at the same time. Amazing because Todoroki's display of power was jaw-dropping, freezing an entire building within seconds and winning the match with one move was no doubt impressive, but depressing as the opponents couldn't do a thing to stop him. The difference in power was simply too much for them to able to do anything.
While Izuku felt sorry for the opponents Katsuki felt overwhelmed.
'This guy, he's a different beast entirely than the rest... damn it.'
Match-3
Team J:- Kirishima and Asui
VS
Team D:-Bakugou and Jirou
"START!"
"Oye, punk girl. I'm going to roam around the building and ambush them, got that?!" told Katsuki as we walked out of the Bomb Room. Ignoring the disapproval of the girl he walked towards the entrance until he heard footsteps.
"Kirishima, I heard footsteps near us." said the short girl
"An ambush? Unmanly of them but I'll take the challenge!"
'I'm caught, no point in hiding, still if I just jump in they might expect it... unless...' A smirk came on his face.
Asui and Kirishima both heard a noise from the corner and immediately went there with their guard up to see.
Only to see a tiny object beeping and flashing red.
"Boom" Katsuki whispered to himself as the mini grenade went off. He knew those were a good idea, they aren't much use for him in combat as they lack the power and speed of his regular explosions but when it comes to creating a diversion, nothing's better.
He jumps in the smoke as hears them coughing and lands a direct explosion, strong enough to knock out a person but not strong enough to kill. He takes a step back to see the result.
And sees the red hair completely unfazed apart from some dust. The frog girl is in worse shape but still is without and significant damage.
"So your the one to ambush us huh? Your explosions won't work on me though." said Kirishima as he readied himself, "Asui, go find the bomb, I'll deal with him!" to which the frog girl complied.
Katsuki simply replied "So you think you can take me alone huh?!, your funeral!" before propelling himself towards the teen with his explosions. He saw him ready himself, so he switched his trajectory when he was within a one-meter range of Kirishima and hooked him from the side.
Only for it to not have any sort of real effect.
'So he does have a defensive quirk, this bastard changed his hair but is still that annoying prick from the entrance exam.'
Kirishima charged out of the blasts and landed a jab on Katsuki's stomach making him push back.
"Fuck!" he yells before coughing 'Hit's like a metal bat too. He has a resistance to physical attacks, a bad match for me.'
Katsuki sees Kirishima charge again but this time he dodges to the right and grabs his arm with his left hand and uses explosions from his right to propel himself and spin to generate momentum and throw Kirishima against a wall.
He doesn't know the limit to which the red hair can take damage, nor can he blindly keep up an explosive barrage as his gauntlets help with the recoil of the explosions but not the burn they cause, so he has to play it carefully. Use basic physics to his advantage.
Katsuki suddenly heard "So you're smarter than you seemed, not going to lie I sort of assume you were just angry all time" from Kirishima as he walked out of the wall, mostly unscathed.
"Your starting to piss him off, get die already" yelled the blonde as he again flew towards the boy but this time he used an explosion to cancel his momentum right in front of the red-haired boy which doubled as a smokescreen, and got behind him and unleashed a strong explosion at his back.
He didn't expect Kirishima to just ignore the damage and land a solid punch on his jaw before the second explosion hit. Both falling back from the hit and taking a moment to recover.
"Man, you're cooler than I thought. You're a true man!" a compliment from the opponent that Katsuki wasn't expecting. 'Maybe this is different than Aldera'
"Not bad yourself, but...I'm still going to fucking kill you!" shouted as he ran towards Kirishima.
Kirishima also ran towards the blonde before seeing the blonde drop some more mini grenades in front of him, creating a lot of smoke. He pushed through it and saw nothing. Realizing what this means he turned only to Bakugou with a scary smile on his face and his hands glowing a lot.
And then fireworks as Katsuki launched an explosion to his face causing Kirishima to use his hands for cover... only to immediately see him aim one at his feet, causing him too lose his footing and slip forwards and then a final explosion, the biggest one yet to his chest sending him flying towards the ceiling, cracking it and knocking him out.
"Fuckin... finally!" Katsuki says as he takes a moment to catch his breath.
"Bakugou, I need help! Asui is a hard target to hit!" came the voice of Jirou through the comms
"Fucking hell... fine I'll be there in a minute"
"Wow! That was so cool!"
"His moves, he didn't seem the type to think"
"If it weren't for that scary face it would've been fabulous"
All Might heard the talk as he saw Young Bakugou and Jirou team up against Young Asui. 'That quirk... he seems different ...but still...'
He sees Asui get captured and yells out "Hero team WINS!"
'He is good at combat, if the quirk apprehension test is anything to go by...he can't use his quirk for a long time. So he knew a match of endurance was a bad idea hence why he used both his explosions and the momentum provided by them to attack, wearing down Kirishima more efficiently'
Shouta was seeing the footage of today's training exercise and reading some of the notes about the students made by All Might.
Kaminari doesn't think much during a fight and blindly fires up his quirk.
Todoroki is a cut above the rest in terms of strength but he relied on excessive force instead of cooperating.
Yaoyorozu's good at analysis and figuring out the opponent's plan, not so much during a fight.
Tokoyami relies too much on his quirk and is physically weak.
Ashido's a bit too carefree during her match and has a problem controlling the solubility of the acid, pH is either too high or too low.
Bakugou's highly adaptable in a fight, his creativity with his quirk was outstanding. His costume despite the appearance was actually very practical, each part had a function that helped him. Hell, the kid even had sent in blueprints of what he wanted for his costume. Most of which was declined as first-years have a limit for their costumes compared to second and third years. His fight did lead to a lot of property damage which wouldn't fly as a pro.
And finally Midoriya. Shouta expected him to be not worth the fuss. Shouta was one of the few who thought sending him an invitation to the school for what he did during the sludge villain incident was foolish. The kid did something brave while recently being turned quirkless, sure. But his plan was foolish then and he just got lucky that All Might saved him near the end.
But today the boy he saw was different, Midoriya was a quick thinker above anything else. His reflexes and planning were already good, but it's his wit that caught the attention of the pro. This kid used both his quirk and his environment to full advantage. Even then all that, the flaws were apparent, the major one being is his inability to use his powers simultaneously. This causes delay during fights which can be easily exploited.
"Woah! I don't think I have seen you like this since last year, after dealing with the paperwork of expelling an entire class!" boomed the voice of Present Mic.
"I think he likes this class" said Midnight
"You think sooo! I don't know! I'll wait a bit before Judging!"
Shouta simply groaned in irritation. Once they found out he didn't expel anyone this year, their jaws were left hanging. But after that, they just won't shut up about it.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! It's that kid's report. The one whose quirk is similar to A-"
"I know." Shouta interrupted.
"Did you find anything on him?" Midnight asked
"No, the kid's family history has to mention of him"
"So it's just a similar quirk to his and nothing else?"
"I guess so. For now, we can't do much, Nezu said to keep a close eye on him for now, but if the kid hasn't done anything wrong yet, so is the green for now."
"Still I find it hard to believe that..."
Two days later
Izuku was talking with his classmates on their way to the bus which would take them to the place they would training today.
Today they were going to do a special rescue exercise. The teachers were going to be Aizawa Sensei, All Might, and a special guest. He couldn't wait for it. As he saw the bus nearing them he saw Iida march his way towards the front of the class before turning 180 and take out a piece of paper.
"Everyone, please form a line according to your seat number! We will follow this seating arrangement!" yelled the boy
"Umm, where did you get that paper? You walked here empty-handed!"
"Yeah! His costume has no pockets or anything. Where did he keep it?!"
"When did he make it? We were told of the exercise ten minutes ago! He was with us all the time!"
Iida only replied with "The details don't matter. What's important is that we fol-"
"That won't be necessary" interrupted Aizawa.
"Aizawa Sensei! May I ask why?"
"You'll see"
"I didn't expect this to be that kind of bus!"
Neither did Izuku, to be honest. It's more like a party bus, to be honest than an actual school bus. There are 2 rows at the back with the normal arrangement but side from that all it's missing is a pole in the center for it be considered an actual party bus. It was strange to see U.A being laid back in this aspect because you would think the top hero school in all of Japan would be strict but no. It's relatively laid back in most aspects. In Aldera the school made the class get in line when they went anywhere, whether it be the cafeteria, the A.V room, the school grounds, etc. U.A didn't as much.
He sat in the center with many others, they all were talking about different topics when suddenly the girl next to him spoke.
"Midoriya."
"Yeah, Asui."
"Call me Tsu"
A bit abrupt but sure. "S-sure Tsu"
"I say whatever is on my mind"
"Okay"
"It's been bugging me a lot. What is your quirk exactly?"
And just like all eyes were immediately on Izuku. Did he feel overwhelmed? Yes. Did he want to go to a corner and fold into himself? Yes. Was he going to respond anytime? Now that's a question to be asked. He looked around and saw everyone's eye on him, except for Bakugou who was looking outside the window, and Todoroki who was sleeping. He took a deep breath and remembered his time training with All Might. They both had gone through all the possible explanations to explain the development of this sudden third power.
"My quirk is called Super Power, it's an energy that my body produces that can be used in different ways depending on how I use it. If I release the energy, it becomes fire which I can manipulate. In other words, it gives me my pyrokinesis. If I spread the energy on my palms, I can attract objects towards myself. And finally, if I spread the energy through my muscles, it gives me super strength." Izuku said and hope to god they buy it.
"Man, what the hell? I know U.A students are known for powerful quirks but this is just.." Kaminari said.
"I agree, your quirk is extremely versatile. It's sort of hard to believe." Yaoyorozu added
"Man, I have to admit, I'm sort of jealous of you. Your quirk is flashy, versatile, and powerful. My quirk is good for fights but looks kinda plain" Kirishima admitted.
Izuku replied "I don't know, I think your quirk is really cool Kirishima. It's definitely one a pro would want"
"A pro huh? But you have to think of popularity as well in that field."
"My navel laser is equal in both it's power and flashiness," Aoyama said before quickly being shot down when Ashido brought up his stomach ache problem.
"But let's not forget Bakugou and Todoroki in terms of flashiness and power," Kirishima said earning a scoff from the blonde as he tries to pretend he didn't care.
"But Bakugou always seems angry so there is hardly any chance he'll be popular."
"What the fuck?! You want to fight?!" Bakugou said angrily.
And then the teasing began. Izuku didn't know much about Bakugou but this behavior seemed like it could be why he wasn't well known. But he doesn't want to open that can of worms right now.
As the class continues to talk, no one noticed that after Izuku's quirk explanation, it caught Todoroki's attention.
During the explanation of today's exercise. Katsuki was in a bad mood. The bus ride was again focused on Midoirya. Then it went to him and half'n'half. Even though not as bad as Aldera, they still flocked towards the flashy ones. But before he could lament on it further he saw a black mist at the center of the USJ.
One that was all too familiar to him.
Both anger and fear overtook him as he saw him walk out. 'Why is he here?! He said we were done after... so why is he here!?' Unknowingly he let out a few sparks from his hands.
Then his teacher told them to evacuate.
Then they got cut off by Kurogiri, who said they were here for All Might.
'All Might, but the only one who has a chance is Sen... No!' Now the anger subsided and the only thing that remained was fear.
And finally, they called got warped.

Finally, I uploaded another one. Now my reason is that... I'm lazy. Sorry, I'll try to be less lethargic next time.
Kirishima was the only one I could think that would be equal to Katsuki without making him seem too weak.
One thing you may have noticed is that the grammatical errors are not as bad in this one. How? Beta- readers? Double-checking? Learning English?
NAW I just used Grammarly and my lack of English skills was made up for. For the most part.
